This was one of the most important points brought up today.
Last week on Coast to Coast, John McAfee told the audience that anybody that went on the Obamacare site was setting themselves up for anything. He said there WAS no security. To set up security you need to test it for two months at least, and that wasn’t done, and he knows because he has SEEN the code.
He also said that anybody with just the least amount of knowledge could go in and drain your bank account. Think of how enticing that is to Obama and his dream IRS team?
Mike Rogers was making an excellent point, and notice how he was shut up by whoever was controlling the meetings. As he said: If you are running tests then your security is down.
All Kathleen kept saying was they were writing code and running tests.
There is no security, and who out there, after the NSA scandal is surprised?
Nobody Wins when representatives in Congress can’t even ask a legitimate question.
The fight in Washington continues, and the Republicans seem to be caving into the lies of the current President, Barack Obama, who has viciously attacked the “tea party” members of the house, if they don’t give into his full demands. Obama blames the tea party for causing the United States to default for the first time in history. Many of us out here in nobody land, cannot believe our ears…
Because if we do default, it will be by Obama ordering the treasury not to pay the bills. (And with Dr. Lew, he has an obeying lap dog.)
Once again the democratic rule: Do the crime, blame the other guy for it.
Would a President do this impeachable act just to further destroy his enemy, the Tea Party? (In case you’re late to this, the Tea Party are the last Americans standing who want Constitutional rule.)
Impeachment is almost impossible now after the Monica Lewinsky debacle. Bill Clinton should have been impeached when he joined up with our giant military manufacturers to give China our technology. He should have been impeached for giving North Korea plutonian. They could have impeached him for lying under oath. Instead, they made the impeachment about sex, god forbid they cut off their own future campaign coffers. And by doing impeachment on such a trivial matter, they put the country through so much negative emotion about the whole process, we will more than likely never see it supported ever again.
Maybe that was the idea.
And so, with each Presidency the office itself has grown stronger, which is what the elite in the circle we call Washington and Wall Street want. it truly is about the rich against the poor—–a one party system, with one strong leader at the top.
I came upon this picture today. It was taken right before then, President George H.W. Bush, was going to send the troops into combat in the first Gulf War. He kept saying it was to save the poor helpless Kuwaitis from that mean neighbor, Saddam Hussein.
He could have told us that we had struck a deal with the Saudi’s to protect them in exchange for bases on their land, but that wouldn’t sell to us nobodies, who they consider to be better off ignorant of all that they do.
What struck me about this picture…is the expression on his face. And the grace of his hand, as if, he is a Napoleon in history, reaching out for eternity saying. “GO…FREE MY PEOPLE!…YOU ARE MY BRAVE AND HONORABLE ARMY FOR GOOD!”
In fact, the Times editor asked Diana Walker, the photographer who took this picture, to explain it.
“It looks like he’s Moses parting the waters.”
Wow. Tie clips. Just what you need when you are about to be shot.
That reminds me of all the universal corporate “honor” Christmas meetings that I’ve been to, where the bigwigs of corporations would hand out plagues for “most sales.” instead of what most people would have preferred; money.
Anyway, Diana Walker, waited all day to get that shot. The President had been surrounded the whole day by Congressmen who wanted THEIR picture taken with the President. (Speaker of the House Thomas Foley is in the bottom left hand corner walking away.)
Diana got more than a tie clip for this picture. She won the World Press Photo competition. And I’m sure the “President” saw to it that she got that reward. No doubt, this is one of his favorite pictures.
It will be interesting to see what will happen in the next few days. If the House Leaders give into the President, we will have a one-party system.
If they don’t give into the President, we will still have a one-party system, with a ‘benevolent’ dictator at the top, who if you are lucky, will excuse you from Obamacare.
The rest of you…will just have to go to into battle without that tie clip.
I’m thinking about changing my template once again…I promised a reader who was having trouble reading the pages that I would, and since I don’t know a HTML from a star in the Spiral Galaxy, it’s been slow and tedious process…but I’m getting there. I admit, I like to play with color, but that doesn’t always lend to easy reading. I might try a few on for size. Please, tell me how you feel about any of them.
I’m also going to add another feature…Nobody Reads, because I read a lot of different stuff everyday…from the internet, to magazines, to books…I like a variety…and sometimes when I read I come upon things that are intriguing, and so, I will present some of them, because frankly, the guy who used to send me emails, doesn’t anymore, and on weekends, I really don’t have much to post except jokes.
So…enough babbling. Here’s something written by the Englishman, William Bradford, in 1620, who came over on the Mayflower and was in Plymouth. It seems, the Plymouth Colony owned much of its people’s survival to an Indian named Squanto. He had been to England and learned English. He not only taught them how to plant corn and catch fish, he told them how the main Chief in the area got along with the other Indians, in other words: Indian rules…and here they are.
1. That neither he nor any of his people injure or do hurt to any of their people.
2. That if any of his did hurt to any of theirs, he should send the offender that they might punish him.
3. That if anything were taken away from any of theirs, he should cause it to be restored: and they should do the like to his.
4. If any did unjustly war against him, they would aid him, if any did war against them, he should aid them.
5. He should send to his neighbors confederates to certify them of this that they might no wrong them, but might be likewise comprised in the conditions of peace.
6. That when their men came to them, they should leave their bows and arrows behind them.
By these rules, President Obama would be sent to Congress to be punished. All that he has stolen from the American people should be restored. After that, he would have to send someone to stay with the Republicans at all times to continue the peace. And he should always leave his ego at the door.
So, can we get these rules to the President and Congress?
I’m doing my Friday history blog due to the fact that I just listened to Obama give his—”A faction in the House wants to shut the government down.” speech in the Rose Garden just a few minutes ago. As I thought of Obama’s extreme vilification of Ted Cruz and those who support him, I immediately was reminded of another fight in Congress…done basically by one man alone in the House, quite some time ago. A man who had already been President. A man, that literally changed history. And he fought against, The GAG rule In the year 1835, the American Anti-Slavery Society started flooding the Congress with anti-slavery petitions, which enraged the Southern congressmen (who were democrats) because they wanted to protect the institution of slavery. John Quincy Adams wrote to his son Charles Francis:
“The voice of Freedom has not yet been heard, and I am earnestly urged to speak in her name. She will be trampled underfoot if I do not, and I shall be trampled underfoot if I do…What can I do? I have taken my glove in the House. They hunt me like a Partridge upon the mountain. Well…be it so. I am aware my severest trials are yet to come.”
What he fought, was the gagging of any anti- slavery petitions to be read by Congress. They just were not going to even talk about slavery. Period. (Sound familiar?) In other words, “it’s the law of the land.”
Congress set up a 9 member committee (with slavery owner southerners in control) to address the many anti-slavery petitions, and decided they were taking up too much time. At the same time, American settlers in Mexico express prohibition against slavery were ignored by the settlers who bought their own slaves to Texas. Adams, was afraid Texas would become another slave state.
Adams gave a speech on the floor of the house against the annexation of Texas ON the fact that it would include more slaves. He was met, by his own words with. “echoes of thundering vituperation from the South and West, and with one universal about of applause from the North and East. “
Now…just like today, Adams was hated in his own party, The House Speaker at the time was James K. Polk (future President from Tennessee) and James repeatedly denied Adams access to the floor. He claimed that slavery was a state’s right, and Congress had no business messing with it. This began years and years of John Adams saying, ”Am I gagged?” every time he slammed the petitions down on the floor podium. To shut him up, Congress passed the Gag rule, which meant they just wouldn’t discuss it. (Just as Obamacare was ‘passed’ And we are told now, there will BE no discussion. ) John Quincy said this:
“I hold the resolution to be a direct violation of the Constitution of the United States, the rules of this House, and the right of my constituents”
——and sat down amid thunderous cries of “ORDER!” The whole house went in uproar and the clerk didn’t even record Adams remark. Later Adams demanded it be reported in the official journal that he voted no. It was approved, 117-68.
The House did not removed the gag rule (to keep the subject of slavery out of discussion) until 1840, and then it prohibited even RECEIVING petitions.
John Quincy NEVER gave up. He cited the 1st amendment:
“The right of petition is essential to the very existence of government: it is the right of the people over the Government: it is their right, and they may not be deprived of it. “
Adams had full hatred and vile attacks every single day in Congress, for years and years…when he would march up to the podium and slam down his petition to get rid of the gag rule. Sarah Palin’s attacks were mild compared to what JQA got —–He was really hated.
One historian, Bennett Champ Clark, said that “No contest in America public life ever exceeded in ferocity the long fight for the right of petition which John Quincy Adams waged from 1836 to 1844″.
So…ONE man fought for years in Congress…hated by the people he worked with, hated by half the country, for the right to end slavery. For the right of free speech. For our Constitutional right for the people to be heard. It’s an inspiration we should remember.
Obama said today in his speech that NOBODY HAS DIED FROM DEATH PANELS! That’s because, today is the first day of it’s implementation.
Obamacare is a holocaust waiting to happen. It will kill millions. Hospitals will close. Care will be denied. Men and woman will lose jobs. And it will make slaves of all who do not belong to the rich and connected. In that respect alone, it’s unconstitutional.
So Mr. Cruz, remember that. long ago, another great man stood alone, and fought for the rights of his people, and he fought for years. There is no statue anywhere for his efforts. No great monuments to applaud the lone soldier of freedom. Nope, our increasingly tyrannical government doesn’t want you to remember the only founder, who fought for the slaves freedom. He just wasn’t a very pleasant fellow.
Today I just heard Brit Hume say that the Republican’s tea party are not standing on principle.
Obamacare IS unconstitutional. That’s a fact. No matter what the corrupt John Roberts says. Some things…never change.
I changed the channel, cussed him out, and remembered….what one man can do, when he stands on principle alone.
Nobody Gets Email
Let’s remember–our current clear and present danger: I usually post some fun historical fact on Friday…but I thought THIS video, sent to me by the people at Floyd, was so important that everyone should be aware of it before the weekend, or before Obama launches missiles into Syria. .
Nobody should remember what happens in history when tyrannical megalomaniacs are not stopped.
I know it’s a bit long, but the implications of Obama, paying the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt without Congress even knowing about it–with the help of his brother in Kenya, and putting the United States in imminent danger by FUNDING the Muslim Brotherhood throughout the Middle East—- screams for impeachment. If Obama attacks Syria, without Congressional approval, he should be impeached. He’s making a habit of ignoring the Constitution.
There is no question that Jerome Corsi’s investigative journalism can be deemed top-rated.
Please take a half hour out of your day to hear this, because you are probably not going to hear any of this on TV. And if you do, it will be after the fact.
Obama has been giving speeches all lover the country, digging up the same old line that gets him sympathy for being the poor guy who Republicans just will not negotiate with. As he once said to an audience about Putin not returning Snowdon, “I shouldn’t HAVE to ask.” Obama has this idea that he shouldn’t have to do a thing with Congress because HE is the President of the United States and they should all come to him.
But Nobody Wonders if all this Obama whining doesn’t have an end goal in mind: Ezra Klein of the Washington Post upset another journalist this week, Ron Fournier of the National Journal, when he claimed that Obama the liberals are complaining too much about the LACK of power Obama has:
Klein is right about this: No president is a superhero. First, as Klein suggests, the U.S. political system faces enormous structural problems that make leadership challenging for any president. Chief among them is sophisticated redistricting that has helped create a polarized Congress packed with lawmakers with no incentive to compromise. Second, government austerity reduces the president’s ability to bargain with Congress. Third, the democratization of politics—and of big money in particular—has weakened the party structures. That has weakened a president’s powers that stem from his role as the titular party chief. Finally, the modern GOP is less willing than Democrats to compromise. There is something to Obama’s complaint that virtually any policy he supports will be met by resistance.
“Enormous structural problems” ?
That sums it up right there: The democrats want to give Obama more power, and that old Constitution is in the way.
Nobody Wonders how anyone can forget that the separation of powers works best because it’s suppose to keep tyrants from gaining power…and so far, Obama has gotten everything he wants…..but the one thing he wants most: The Constitution changed to give the executive complete power over all of Congress, and make him an absolute Monarch.
There is a reason Obama and his minions love Mao, and it’s not because Mao read our Constitution.
While we were all gushing about the Royal Baby last week, or talking about Zimmerman and race issues, the House had a chance to defund the unbelievable and unconstitutional surveillance of everyone in the United States. But, they chose instead to basically nullify the 4th amendment.(See who voted for it here.) I thought you might want to know about it, since Nobody reported it on TV, (which should tell you something) but Glenn Beck, choose to go after Michelle Bachmann for siding with the surveillance. Really. Everybody was on the baby. You get the feeling that they didn’t want this one watched.
Either they know we have nukes all over the US ready to be denoted and they don’t want to tell us……
OR…they all think the commoners are so angry about the lot of them, that they want to protect themselves and their families when the coming collapse comes…..
OR…some very big people are going to make a butt load of money off all this collecting.
(I’m guessing all three.)
Either way, it goes to show that our government will continue to monitor each and every one of us. And please—— don’t give me this “BUT…we’re not looking at it!” BS. Do you really believe that?
This week we have Obama VS the National Intelligence Director, James Clapper: Who is the biggest liar?
As you can see by the video, on March 12, 2013, James Clapper was pretty sure that the NSA had never spied or gathered Intelligence on American citizens. Of course, we all just found out that was a big, fat, lie.
It’s not the first time he sort of ‘missed the boat.”
March 2011, Clapper was heard at the United States Senate Committee on Armed Services and commented on the 2011 Libyan civil war saying that “over the longer term” Gaddafi “will prevail.” During the same hearing he was also questioned when he neglected to list Iran and North Korea among the nuclear powers that might pose a threat to the United States.
While teaching at Georgetown, Clapper was officially nominated by President George W. Bush to be Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence on 29 January 2007. Clapper was confirmed by the United States Senate on 11 April 2007. He was only the second person to hold this position, which oversees and provides policy, program, and budgetary guidance to the defense intelligence agencies—DIA, NGA, the National Security Agency (NSA), and the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO)—and also works closely with the Director of National Intelligence (DNI).
So, if ANYBODY would know about what was going on, it would be James Clapper, and he lied to Congress. And nothing whatsoever happened to him for lying. Which means, Clapper is NOT afraid of Congress, and why should he be? He’s probably knows all the secrets about every one of them. He probably knows where Lindsey Graham keeps his underwear. I bet half of them left town that day.
And then we have Obama. Again.
I found the video below on Youtube, and it presents just about a dozen or more lies, and that’s just about one subject: Obamacare.
Just ONE subject. Think of all the other lies he tells.
So, who’s the biggest liar?
Professionally speaking: James Clapper is just doing what he is told, but that still doesn’t make him as brave as the young Edward Snowden who made a fool out of him. Clapper for all his metals, is a coward.
Obama wins, but you have to wonder if Clapper was thinking of Hitler….who once said:
“The great masses of the people will more easily fall victims to a great lie than to a small one.”
Nobody thinks: Comparing Clapper’s lie to Obama’s great mountain of lies, is like comparing a sand dune in Daytona Beach to Mt. Everest. in the words of too many sports commentators: NO CONTEST. I usually congratulate the winner of the Nobody’s Perfect VS contest, but I refuse to encourage a lying beast of such magnitude.
(PS.: Whoever made this video had way too much fun!)
This from the Washington Times:
President Obama angrily blamed the defeat Wednesday of his centerpiece gun-control proposal on lies spread by the National Rifle Association, calling it “a pretty shameful day for Washington.”
“The gun lobby and its allies willfully lied about the bill,” Mr. Obama said in the White House rose garden about 90 minutes after the vote. “It came down to politics.”
Who lied about this bill Mr. President?
And while he was extremely angry for having lost even after having to ‘share’ his Air Force One with all those grieving families, and putting them up for photo-lops, he did say something that rang true:
” You’ve got to send the right people to Washington,” he told voters. “That requires strength and it requires persistence. I see this as just Round One. Sooner or later, we are going to get this right.”
And the gun-owning voters say: “Yes sir! We DO need to send the right people to Washington. If you think Round One was hard, wait until you get to Round Two, Mr. ‘President.’ We are stocking up. Spreading the word. Getting ready.”
For once, the people put the fear into some elected democrats.
And that’s always a good day.
