When Mitt Romney lost the last election— he was shocked, and why? The ‘polls’ told him he was going to win. Even Dick Morris, a man who thrives on the science of polls, predicted Romney would win the Presidency. (Polls don’t factor in fraud, do they now?)
The polls are telling everyone now, that nobody could beat Hillary Clinton in 2016. But Obama did once before. Hillary is a lousy speaker…next to Obama, she sounded like everyone’s most hated school marm.
Polling people may be all well and good, but unless you know who DID the poll, who was asked, and how the question was framed, it’s hard to believe any of them. More often than not, polls now are pure political propaganda used to further an agenda.
So…Nobody Remembers some words lifted from a speech given by George Gallup, the granddaddy of pollsters, from a speech he gave at the University of Iowa, April 14, 1953.
Mr. Gallop was distressed about the astounding ignorance of the American people.
“One of the real threats to America’s future place in the world is a citizenry which daily elects to be entertained and not informed. From the time the typical citizen arises and looks at his morning newspaper until he turns off his radio or television set before going to bed, he had unwittingly cast his vote a hundred times for entertainment or for education. Without his knowing it, he had helped to determine the very character of our three most important media of communication—The press, radio, and television.
The present lack of interest in the informative type of television show is shocking.
During the last war one of the sadder sights to me was to see grown men, most of them with high school or college training, poring over comic books in railroad and bus stations and apparently wholly unconcerned with the happenings in the world, which would almost certainly affect their destiny.
In a recent study of metropolitan newspapers, it was found that the average amount of time which a reader spends daily on the important news of his country and of the world is less than four minutes. He spends ten times as much time on sports, local gossip, and the service and entertainment features.
Despite the fact that we have the highest level of formal education in the world, fewer people buy and read books in this nation than in any other modern democracy. An Englishman who leaves school at the age of fourteen read about as many books as our college graduate.
The ignorance of these college graduates about the classics was overwhelming. One adult in every four throughout the country could name the two men selected as vice presidential candidates. A good many college students and former students cannot take an outline map of the United States and put their finger on the state of Illinois.
I believe that the great hope of the future must lie in our educational system. I have come reluctantly but inevitably to the conclusion that the enemies of learning at the university level are the textbook, the classroom lecture, and our course system. At Oxford for example the student is left pretty much on his own. He reports at weekly or biweekly intervals to his professor or don who offers his guidance and criticism. In this country, we lean heavily on textbooks which consist for the most part of bits and pieces of knowledge cannibalized from other textbooks. Too often he teacher in his classroom lecture, merely repeats the material covered by the textbooks, And the student, once he has memorized and then regurgitated the textbook material in a true false quiz, can forget the whole business
Obviously the whole school system, from the grades up to college, must be revised if we are to turn out a more mature product.
So in a real sense, the education of every person should begin and not end with graduation.”
But in the end, and up to that point, Gallup still believed in the common American:
‘In the course of polling the American public over a periods of nearly two decades, I have found that our people are wonderfully endowed with what is best described as “horse sense.” The collective judgment of the people, up to this pint in history, has been extraordinarily sound. There is a mountain of evidence to prove that the public is generally right in its opinions and usually far ahead of its representatives in government.”
I wonder what Mr. Gallup would say today, don’t you?
Do the American people still have good “horse sense’ or has the horse kicked the proverbial bucket never to return?
Just because you happened to go to an ivy league school, and came up with a new idea for the computer, doesn’t mean you are bright in any other subject: And that’s the problem with some geniuses–their ego’s make them think that they can conquer any subject: NOT.
For instance, the average conservative knows that it’s the teachers’ unions along with the government that has ruined our educational system. You would THINK a genius like Zuckerface would know that too.
But, he wanted to show the world that that movie made about him, which made him out to be a spoiled egotistical brat, isn’t true. He is a generous and good person. And donating $100 million dollars to Newark, New Jersey to help the kids—well that was praised by all the elites
He gave the money to Obama’s two favorite New Jersey Wise guys—Cory Booker and Chris Christie, with no strings…they could spend the money how they wanted…little oversight.
They gave it a name: Startup: Education. (laugh here)
As usual, nothing happened, and the money is gone.
Between 2010 and 2012, The New Yorker reports that “more than $20 million of Zuckerberg’s gift and matching donations went to consulting firms with various specialties: public relations, human resources, communications, data analysis, [and] teacher evaluation.” Many of the consultants were being paid upwards of $1,000 a day.
“Everybody’s getting paid but Raheem (RAHEEM?) still can’t read,” Vivian Cox Fraser, president of the Urban League of Essex County, was quoted saying.
The reform ended up looking like this: taking low-performing public schools and closing them, turning them into charter schools and “themed” high schools. But there was no easy way to expand charters without destabilizing traditional public schools.”
There’s the key word: ‘destabilizing.” This means lots of tenured union teachers would lose pay, jobs security, and pensions. But maybe Zuckerberg just wanted a tax write-off.
Nobody gives Zuckerberg at least a little credit: Unlike Oprah, he gave the money to schools in the United Sates.. And I would bet you a $100 million dollars (If I had it) That Zuckerberg would do it again in a heartbeat.
Why he didn’t build schools for his favored class: the illegal aliens, I have NO idea–that’s next.
As usual: the money STAYS at the top–and you have to wonder about Zuckerberg. is he delusional? Or is this all about him?
Obama waved his hand and gave illegal’s amnesty, now he is doing his King act again,by saying that all illegal children have a right to be educated in our schools.
The Obama administration announced Wednesday it would issue new guidance requiring U.S. schools to provide equal education to all children, regardless of their immigration status. Attorney Gen. Eric Holder and Education Secretary Arne Duncan are expected to detail the proposal Thursday morning during a conference call with reporters.
Of course there’s a big catch to this: if you are planning on coming to America to get your free education, remember: we have some of the worst schools in the world. I’d rethink it if I were you. But if you just want you kids to get free meals..while you collect welfare, than I’d say…come on in!
But, this is nothing new, we have been supplying education for the world’s children for quite some time.
According to a report at ANI News, the U.S. Government recently launched a new initiative to teach primary school children in India how to read.
India’s Center for Knowledge Societies will receive 3.2 million U.S. dollars from USAID through the READ (Read-Engage-Achieve-Dream) Alliance.
In light of a seventeen and a half trillion dollar national debt, a few million may not seem like a lot. But the principle still stands: Where in the Constitution is the federal government empowered to spend the American people’s money on literacy programs (or any program) in foreign countries?
They are not! But that doesn’t stop our imperial President for making YOU and I pay for other children’s education, whether they are here, or in Afghanistan, or Kenya, or India…
YOU pay for it.
William Baer was arrested…for daring to speak to his children’s wardens, for DARING to be upset about his child being exposed to porn…
From The Blaze
According to WCVB-TV, the book contains a graphic description of rough sex between two teenagers, which parents were unaware of until the book had already been distributed to their kids.
“I was shocked when I read the passage and not much shocks me anymore,” William Baer told EAG News. “My wife was stunned by the increasingly graphic nature of the sexual content of the scene and the imagery it evoked.”
School district officials said they normally send out notifications to parents before assigning the controversial book, but forgot to do so this time.
More proof that our schools have become prisons, and teachers are state Gestapo. They truly belive that parents have no rights whatsoever with their kids.
So the next time you hear Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama talk about our democracy…remember…you have NO say whatsoever in your children’s education.
And this is what will happen if you even dare to protest.
Sadly, the sheeple around this man—- were cowards.
How do you not watch this and go…huh? He wants LESS white kids in his university or he’s a failure? Well, Mr. “I’m so ashamed I’m white and making $312,000 to keep you other white kids from getting what I got that I am going to stand up and condemn you all! because I can make a lot of money doing it!”
Excuse my language… but: Bastard.
That’s about the most racist statement I have ever heard, and coming no less, from a white idiot who is…well, read some of the other Nobody comments from YOUTUBE…
Shouldn’t white liberals kill themselves to end recism? —Shami

I’m still waiting to hear Moorehouse or Howard U say that if they are as black in 20 years as they are now, that they have failed as universities. —Far from equilibrium

No country in the world is going to win, when it keeps smart people out of university, just because they are white.
Rowwdy, I’m with you.
When I was about eight, my grandfather bought the entire Britannica Encyclopedia and gave it to our family at Easter. Of course, it was for me, because the whole family knew my brother didn’t pick up anything to read unless it was the latest Superman comic. And tonight, I pulled a volume out of that same set, to see what it had to say about the history of education in America. Just what I always thought. The nation started off with the “Little School house on the Prairie ” and then some time later, they decided every child needed to be educated, so they made everyone pay taxes and we were all pushed into school at five.
BUT…Mental Floss Magazine added some stuff, I had never heard..like…did you know that the Klu Klux Klan was one of the main reasons we got mandatory school?
“Grandpa— that wasn’t in the Encyclopedia.”
According to the mental at Mental Floss, before the 1820s, HALF the laborers in American cotton mills were children under the age of 15. And the real reason adults wanted the kids out of the labor force was because of the competition. Children were cheaper, and had more energy. Mary Kenny O’Sullivan, vice president of the National Women’s Trade Union League, said,
“Whenever child labor prevails there is a corresponding decrease in employment for adults.”
Right you are, Mary.
Yes, those dirty rotten kids were taking jobs away from women. Can you imagine? In fact, getting rid of the kids was one of the big factors in uniting the American labor movements.
So— because they didn’t want to throw the little burgers out in the street, the labor leaders thought up a whole new industry: mandatory school, lead by unionized teachers, where they could also get those pesky women out of the factories too! It was a perfect plan.
Massachusetts was the first state to pass a compulsory education law. By 1886, 16 states followed.
Business owners enamored with their short low-cost labor poll, denounced the statues as “communist” and “un-American.”
This was such a great idea that the labor leaders called for compulsory education everywhere, and that’s when the Klu Klux Kan decided it was a good way to FORCE immigrants to conform to white Protestant culture.
(A horrible culture that included math, science, reading, writing…all those terrible things.)
But…kids could still work on weekends and after hours, and so the Klan decided to stop it, and they rallied for a national ban on child labor. It was the Northern Klansmen against the Southern industrialist.
(So…..when blacks couldn’t pick cotton anymore, they got kids. Is that what you get out of this?)
The Klan won the constant lobbying. In 1938 the Fair Labor Standard Act officially ended child labor, but the black kids could STILL work. White children across the south were guaranteed an education, the black kids, well…they could still pick cotton, but this time, they got paid. They didn’t have to go to school.
It was still the racist Klan. But hey, Robert Byrd used to be a member, proving that what? Did the Northern Klansmen move to the South? Did they leave the North?
Mental Floss didn’t say.
So what do we learn from this mental floss history lesson?
According to history, everybody’s wages would go up by 150 percent.
And young black men, who simply cannot get a decent education out of the American mandatory public school system, could finally make a decent wage.
Thanks to Mental Floss, it’s all very clear. We should all call our Congressmen and remind them that we got rid of the kids in our factories, let’s get rid of the illegals.
An Ohio high school student is now considering a lawsuit after school officials searched his car without his consent and found a pocket knife, leading to his arrest.
Jordan Wiser, an EMT trainee who attends Ashtabula County Technical School in Jefferson, spent 13 days in jail for the three-inch knife officials found and reported to police.
He was charged with “illegal conveyance of a weapon onto a school ground” despite the fact that the knife was found in Wiser’s first responder vest and used for slicing an accident victim’s seatbelt.
“I declined to allow them to search myself or my car and that I wanted to talk to my lawyer or my father,” Wiser told Fox News. “They told me it wasn’t an option.”
The school officials claimed that they had “probable cause” to search Wiser’s car based on a message Wiser supposedly wrote on-line and that possession of the pocket knife was a violation of the school’s “zero tolerance” policy.
First off: Whatever he posted online is free speech. That should not give any school a right to go search his car without a search warrant. When a student is not in school, it’s none of the school’s business what he says anywhere. Now, the internet is becoming a part of the whole government complex. Today your kids will be punished. Tomorrow, it will be you.
THAT’s why they want complete surveillance. The government schools (or any school for that matter) has no right whatsoever to punish a student for what he does out of school, and yet, this is happening all over the country. The 1st amendment is eroding right before our eyes.
Second: It was in the CAR. How dare they go searching through that car.
Third: Every day, some child is expelled from some school for the most idiotic, and ridiculous things imaginable: like kissing, pointing their finger like a gun in play, or the latest: a little girl brought a sandwich to school in her pocket. She got three days suspension. How in the world can we survive?—-
With such MORONS running the schools!!! (sorry, but shouting is at this point, the only option.)
Our schools have become prisons. They are even built like prisons. Parents are not allowed inside, and they are NOT allowed to criticize any teachers least that teacher take it out on their kids. The principles of some of these schools are basically wardens. They will never, ever, ever side against any teacher in their district. They are all government drones.
I fought the school system all my adult life. The school is connected to the Feds now and it’s damn near a military chain of command. At least the schools in my neighborhood. It goes right up to the governor. If it’s a democratic city, ruled by democrats, your kids are basically training in a prison. Unless of course, you are black, and in that case Eric Holder has your back.
But you’ll end up in prison anyway, because you were taught by…morons!
This Nazi like run educational system is killing our kids.
I hope this guys sues…but then again, like me, once upon a time when I had good reason to sue, I didn’t have the money. And I found out the vast corruption now pretending to be an educational system, but in reality, is anything but
And so it…goes on, and gets worse.
His name was Chris Lambert. I remember how soft his hand felt when he reached over to hold my hand. My heart was racing so hard, I could hear it beat. Did the teachers see? Could it be true? As we sat in our fold-up chairs watching the movie in the school auditorium, I remember looking up, because the world had stopped in time. We were watching the story of Christmas, a school favorite, “The Littlest Angel” …(imagine that, in a public school no less) and as I looked up, I saw an angel in the snow on the screen, and a little drummer boy…playing to baby Jesus.
I’ve loved Christmas ever since. I had never seen snow before in real life, but it sure looked pretty.
At that very moment Chris reached over and placed something in my hand. It was the cross he wore around his neck. He wore that cross every day. It was given to him by his father who was the town minister. He wanted me to take it. “I can’t, I said. “You’re father gave you that.”
“Yes, It’s okay. I want you to go steady with me.” he whispered.
I was…everything you are in the first moment of love…ecstatic. We were…going steady! Somebody loved me! The magic of the moment is to this very day, is still embedded in my deepest of hearts.
I held his hand in my right, his beautiful cross in my left. I have never been as nervous ever again in my lifetime, as I was at that moment. It was a moment right out of every Hallmark movie ever written, except…… I was five. So was Chris.
And what’s even more amazing, is I remember worrying that the teachers might not want us to hold hands. After all, in an auditorium of the whole grade school, (about 400 kids) we were the only two holding hands. There were teachers all around us….watching. Did they see? Yes—- they did. But, they did nothing. They looked, and walked away. To them, it was simply sweet.
Back then, teachers were actually, smart.
Back then, kids weren’t suspected of sexual harassment. Back then, children’s love was innocent. Back then, teachers were adults. I remember a few of them whispering and smiling. No doubt, a precious memory for them too.
It was my first encounter with love. It made such a big impression on my heart that to this day, I think most all men are wonderful. Everyone loved Chris. It was all that was meant to be between a young girl and a young boy. We were the deepest of friends. We never kissed. Just held hands.
That first romance set my heart to love comes first over sex for the rest of my life. Love is everything.
Chris was, to my little five-year-old mind, my hero. Everyone talked about Chris in our little grade school. He wore sepplhosen shorts—-brown suede, leather Swiss pants, with beautiful embroidered halter straps. And he wore them every single day, in winter. It was all of 50 degrees outside, and the kids thought he was crazy, but he was never cold, because he had moved to Naples, Florida, from Alaska. To the rest of us, he seemed invincible to the cold which made him…pretty cool.
And yes, the fact that he was from a godly family meant a lot to me. Even at five, I was very close to God. I didn’t know what God looked like, but I knew he was special.
Looking back, on this cold winter’s night, I bet some of those teachers got the biggest kick out of us little lovers holding hands.Just like I got a big kick out of my young son’s first love. I took this picture while my son and I were walking his neighbor girl pal home one day. She was just one of his many buddies. They walked ahead of me, and then out of the clear blue sky, she turned to him, grabbed his hand, and said—-
“Brett, you’re my HERO!” as loud as she could, with that big beautiful smile you see here on her face. And then, she kept saying it all the way up the street.
“I know.” Brett replied.
It was the cutest thing, precious really, so I took this picture of them both.
(Okay, I got a kick out of the confidence of my son also, but he said it with a big smile. There he is picking her a flower. )
And here’s the point: When adults reprimand the natural feelings of love that children have of each other, they spoil the trust and friendship that needs to be developed when they get older. They need to trust each other and that starts when they are young. The teachers of today are teaching that all touching is sex. And they don’t even know what sex is yet.
They are really screwing up love, and trust, which leads to marriage. What the hell is wrong with them?
By now, everyone knows about the little boy who got expelled from school for kissing some girls hand. And to put insanity onto it, they called it sexual harassment.
This is feminist indoctrination 101.
It’s made national news, and the smart kid is having fun with it. Obviously, he’s bored, and he really liked this little girl. So —-A kiss on the hand. The reason kids do this stuff, means they see their parents love for each other. And they imitate it. They are imitating love. Not sex. That’s a good thing. More young boys should kiss girl’s hands. This teaches the whole school that ‘boys’ are not to be trusted.
The school system is out to change all that. There is no love, only sex.
But hey, I’m not worried about the kids. There will always be that first love at five. It’s just a shame that more people don’t stand up to the idiots we are paying to NOT BRAINWASH OUR KIDS—Just because you’re screwed up with leftist feminist bull-crap, doesn’t mean you have a right to destroy our children!
It took my husband to worry me more: “I bet if that kid had kissed a ‘boys’ hand, he would not have been expelled.”
Somebody tell that kid he needs to add that line to his defense.
I’m not feeling well today because of a major tooth infection, so I’m just posting this: It’s too important. It shows the tyranny of teachers, who now work for the government.
This poor man was arrested for asking a question. The bullies of the NRA, are now Obama’s Gestapo. They wanted to give him ten years in jail.
The man is right. Any parent or adult who puts up with this…is an idiot.
He was later released because somebody had the good sense to video tape this and put it on YouTube, otherwise he would be in jail. Nevertheless, the elite liberals will not admit they did anything wrong:
It was clear that Mr. Small violated the rules of the meeting and disrupted the meeting. It was also clear that the officer acted appropriately and did have probable cause to make an arrest on both charges,” the state’s attorney’s office said in a statement. “In the interest of justice, further prosecution will not accomplish anything more. Therefore, the charges have been dismissed.”
What? This means you violate a meeting if you ask a question, or disagree with Obama’s Common Core?
And that officer clearly assaulted the poor man, who had every right to ask a question and state his opinion. This is Nazi.
This is uncalled for.
This is despicable.
It’s bad enough that they are making idiots out of our children, but to attack the tax- paying parents who resist the NRA Gestapo?
Wake up. Wake up.
Did you notice, that a black person was speaking and the guard was black?
Nobody Gets Email
You can sell drugs in the hallways of many high schools in the United States, but don’t you DARE wear a threatening Tee-shirt.
Notice, that Duck Dynasty tee- shirt is going to jump off the body of the student and start beating up whomever it pleases.
Instead of the teachers actually controlling the bullies in the schools, they are instead afraid of: Prayer, old men, and tee-shirts that threaten jokes. Which means the kids in school who ARE being bullied are defenseless, and if they fight back, they are punished also. It the politically correct way to keep kids in line.
Drugs, mind you, are NOT violent. Nor are the students who sell them.
What? You think you’re school is a “drug free zone?”
Then you also think the South Side of Chicago is a ‘violence-free zone.”
Really. It’s not that they are afraid that some kid hasn’t seen Duck Dynasty and might be scared, it’s that the liberal teachers are afraid that kids might actually become big fans of the program.
It’s the teachers biggest fear. The kid should get a tee-shirt that says, “Are you scared of Duck Dynasty? Then you COULD be a moron!”
So better late than never: A young girl named Andrea Hernandez won a big court victory this month…she took on the big, bad, school system:
A Texas girl who was suspended for refusing to wear a student ID card implanted with a radio-frequency identification chip is being re-admitted to her former high school where fall classes begin Monday, her lawyers said today.
The flap concerns Andrea Hernandez, who will be a junior at John Jay High in San Antonio. She was suspended in January and sued the Northside Independent School District on privacy and religious grounds.
She lost the case and began attending another school that did not require pupils to wear the ID badges. The girl’s lawyers said today that she is returning to the magnet school where the highly contested legal battle commenced. That’s because the district has abandoned its year-long RFID-student monitoring program. Schools across the nation are slowly adopting them as well, despite the Northside district quietly deciding last month to discontinue RFID chips on the grounds that they were ineffective.
Like most state-financed schools, the district’s budget is tied to average daily attendance. If a student is not in his seat during morning roll call, the district doesn’t receive daily funding for that pupil because the school has no way of knowing for sure if the student is there.
The remarkable thing about this is…she LOST the case, and yet, there must have been a lot of outcry from other parents about the ID chips– because the school abandoned them.
Andrea, for her bravery, just saved the Constitution for all those kids.
But—compare that to what happened today. Nobody Wins, when the Democrats use the Martin Luther King 50th celebration as a political rally for all their liberal agenda’s: like Common Core, ‘voting rights’ (which they already have) and the endless blaming of the countries problem on the “other side”— meaning the white conservatives, to further divide the nation instead of uniting it, as Martin Luther King spoke about.
Trayvon was made a hero, and Obama mentioned water boarding. (I told you he would) Obama’s speech was pretty lame.
To watch a President complain about the sad state of the country HE is running, all the while acting as if he is just a bystander, witnessing it all with the rest of us, while it’s HIS policies that have destroyed the job market, (Obamacare was passed without one Republican vote)—is nothing short of astounding.
To see the President of the teacher’s association get up and whine about how bad the schools are when she is in charge of it—As if…these people are getting paid for their jobs, but uh…well, they are just there to observe——
The communists, like Van Jones on CNN, were all ecstatic at the day’s events, but anyone else watching thought it was all the same old promises, the same old blames, and the same old worn out democratic speeches.
Looking back on the speeches, I read this comment today on WND and thought it fit the day well. Eric nails its:
Erik Rush, author of “Negrophilia: From slave block to pedestal – America’s racial obsession,” told WND, “It shouldn’t be particularly surprising that a subculture of young, angry black men is proliferating under President Obama. While his tone when addressing matters of race and racial tension is usually measured and compassionate, his rhetoric is what I call ‘artfully divisive.’ It legitimizes and reinforces all of the worst beliefs of propagandized blacks, as well as the more militant and radical worldview of those who subscribe to same. His administration has also labored furtively but very effectively to heighten racial tension, I submit in order to precipitate civil unrest and thereby advance its communist agenda.”
This week is all about cheating…
First up, the very popular multi-millionaire baseball Yankee, Alex Rodriguez. It seems he had to admit, just like Mark McGuire, Sammy Sosa, and Roger Clemens before him, that he was pumping up the juice, sticking the old needle in all the right places, all these years, and has been lying about it:
Alex Rodriguez met head-on allegations that he tested positive for steroids six years ago, telling ESPN on Monday that he did take performance-enhancing drugs while playing for the Texas Rangers during a three-year period beginning in 2001.
“When I arrived in Texas in 2001, I felt an enormous amount of pressure. I felt like I had all the weight of the world on top of me and I needed to perform, and perform at a high level every day,” Rodriguez told ESPN’s Peter Gammons in an exclusive interview in Miami Beach, Fla.
“Back then, [baseball] was a different culture,” Rodriguez said. “It was very loose. I was young. I was stupid. I was naive. And I wanted to prove to everyone that I was worth being one of the greatest players of all time.
“I did take a banned substance. And for that, I am very sorry and deeply regretful.”
I’m not sure what they are going to do to him: Make him bat-boy for a year? Make him run beer errands for the Yankee fans during the home games? Make him play baseball in Cuba for a year? Go to steroid rehab? Nobody Knows, but we are finding out now, that 103 more players tested positive for steroids in 2003…and that was…uh…TEN years ago? What were they waiting for? The Cubs to win the World Series?
No, they (Who are they?) weren’t going to tell us. Someone LEAKED this information! I bet, this person is, at this very moment, sitting with Snowden in a Russian Airport, because ‘President Obama is also VERY mad about this:
“And if you’re a fan of Major League Baseball, I think it tarnishes an entire era, to some degree,” Obama said. “And it’s unfortunate, because I think there were a lot of ballplayers who played it straight.”
This coming from a man who has never played anything straight in his life….he even cheated on his birth certificate…..but I digress.
And then, there’s the cheaters in China. It seems, the school exams in China are so HARD that the kids have been sneaking in electronic ‘cheating’ devices, so therefore, BRAS will be banned during the tests.
Education chiefs in northeast China have devised a new tactic to clamp down on cheating in the country’s annual university entrance exams: they have banned bras. About 9.12 million students will sit the notoriously difficult gaokao exam Friday and Saturday. Last year, according to the China Daily, more than 60,000 electronic devices were seized, including plastic earphones, wireless signal receivers, modified pens, watches, glasses and leather belts.
They should take a page from America: Our teachers let them bring anything at all with the answer to the test questions, because in America, the teachers don’t get their big bonuses unless the kids pass the tests. In fact, if a kid is caught NOT using a calculator in math class….and they start actually doing math in his or her own head,—they will flunk the class for not knowing how to use the all important calculator.
The Chinese have it backward!
So, who wins the Nobody’s Perfect award for the week?
Obama…Obama’s daily cheating has tarnished an entire era for the whole planet…He should be kicked out of baseball.
This very ‘emotional’ gun control rant by Mochelle is so soppy with fakeness, it’s almost laughable. She has shifted from caring about the fat kids, to now caring about the fact that the fat kids need to feel safe, and not just from guns, but from all the evils of society, and unlike her, who had everything handed to her on a silver platter, those poor darlings don’t.
Here we see the combination of two agenda’s: Outlaw all guns, and move the black people into really NICE white neighborhood that the white people have been living in: Obama and Mochelle are going to give MORE than just food stamps!
You poor black people are going to get the BEST FROM HUD!!!
CNSNews.com) – To ensure that “every American is able to choose to live in a community they feel proud of,” HUD has published a new fair-housing regulation intended to give people access to better neighborhoods than the ones they currently live in. The goal is to help communities understand “fair housing barriers” and “establish clear goals” for “improving integrated living patterns and overcoming historic patterns of segregation.” “This proposed rule represents a 21st century approach to fair housing, a step forward to ensuring that every American is able to choose to live in a community they feel proud of – where they have a fair shot at reaching their full potential in life,” said HUD Secretary Shaun Donovan. -
(Nobody suggest they start with Beverly Hills)
Nope. Obama can’t give you a job, but he can sure get you out of the Ghetto, where black drug dealers won’t kill you anymore!
What is so funny about this is that in my neck of the woods, they just spent over $ 1.3 million dollars giving the black kids a brand new, state of the art high school, and the kids did so badly, the school lost it’s accreditation. So now, 1300 students are being shipped to white neighborhoods, where the schools aren’t even half as nice. Even though they spent all that money, it was still considered to be the most dangerous high school in the city.
Nobody Remembers the old saying: You can lead a horse to water but you can’t make him drink…
Her last sentence is a real screamer. Michelle would have been shot at 15…if ONLY.
I guess the cell phones were just not enough.
When the policy came about of making High School students do 50 hours of community service in order to pass high school actually started. It certainly wasn’t a requirement when I was in high school. But, here in my liberal neighborhood, if you don’t go out and pick up trash, or do telemarketing, or help your “community” while you’re in high school, you don’t graduate.
In my local newspaper, they brag about it:
Hazelwood High Schools—Continuing their well- rounded scholarship, each of 1,261 graduating seniors completed at least 50 hours of community service. Students at Hazelwood Central amassed 40,791 hours. East gave 26,805 hours and Hazel wood West 42,928 hours.
Nobody Knows, how ‘serving” your community can be considered even a logical thing for our kids to be wasting time on. After all, the U.S. compared to other countries, is hopelessly failing it’s students, even though we spend more money than any nation in the world. The time they are wasting being the government’s little communistic slaves, could be better spent on learning how to pass school. Most of the kids in Hazelwood would flunk a G.E.D test.
The Program for International Student Assessment measurement found the United States ranked 31st in math literacy among 15-year-old students and below the international average. The same 2009 tests found the United States ranked 23rd in science among the same students, but posting an average score.
And it’s not just the students doing the extra slave work: The Hazelwood teachers now are “volunteering” their time in various project, like “helping the poor.” They get written up in the papers, as if they are doing it of their own free will.
Ha! I saw these teachers after the tornado hit my street. They were NOT happy campers. They probably get their free laptops taken away if they don’t volunteer.
This is something from the old communist countries, but it has been going on years here in my liberal neighborhood. And the parents have no say in it whatsoever. Nobody Knows where else they do this insanity, but I can only imagine.

Unconstitutional and liberal socialism
I’m a student in MA and I think community service is a joke. I think it’s unconstitutional and the liberal education heads probably came up with this. I have to do 60 hrs over four years. I’d like to get a job, do drivers ed, and have a life. More importantly though, my town and school don’t do S*** for me. My parents pay their taxes (a lot of them), I don’t even do any school sports or clubs. Basically, my town doesn’t do anything for me that my parents don’t already pay for in taxes. Why should I give my time and effort to my town and/or school if they’ve never done anything for me except tax me? For those people who say making kids do community service is like making kids learn math and do their homework, your wrong. The government makes children go to school through twelfth grade (unless you drop out). The US constitution amendment 13 says, “Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction”. If the government forces children to do community service to graduate in public government run schools, that directly violates the amendment our government created, basically hypocrisy. One might argue and say “you don’t have to do community service, you just won’t get your diploma”. Community service has no educational value to it, unlike any of the other subjects you learn in school. If it was a class that would be one thing. The fact that you have to do this community service on your own is different. The only possible educational value I can see is a moral or religious personal benefit, and in that case, church and state are declared separate in the United States. If you are going to make community service mandatory to graduate from high school, you need to make high school optional (I’m not suggesting that that be done). It might be different in a catholic or private school because you have a choice to go there. I’m not saying that community service is bad, for example I think it’s good to volunteer for your church, but only because your church provides you a basically free service. I agree that the parents should decide if their children volunteer or not.
EXACTLY. It should be up to the parents, not the state. Well said. The state is taking your kid out of the classroom, and using him to do free labor for the state.
