She didn’t say, on what days.
Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton declared that former President George W. Bush inspired her patriotism and made her proud of her American roots, according to The Washington Times.
She said this mostly because George gave billions to Africa to fight aids, or so she says. Democrats LOVE It when you spread taxpayers money around the world.
This is no surprise because the Bushes and the Clintons have ALWAYS been close. It’s almost as if they had a meeting long ago and said, “Look we’ll alternate the power so the people think they are actually voting for different agenda’s, and work with each other on the side.”
When they get in office,— nothing changes. They give each other parties and metals.
Remember, we had the black vote BEFORE the women’s vote, so Obama was just a breather.
Nevertheless, Hillary doesn’t say these things without a reason., Is she is distancing herself from Obama, or trying to get some conservative women’s vote…or trying to show she will work with republicans if elected?
You know what? I am totally sick of them all.
And according to the news…so is most of America.
Here’s a few paragraphs I came across this morning, in the book “Behold a Pale Horse” by William Cooper: It explains how our Presidents get by with so much power, and how our Congress has rendered themselves impotent:
Justification of the President’s power to write law through executive order stems from the failure of the Government to rescind the declaration of martial law during the Civil War. In effect, the US had been under martial law ever since Lincoln’s administration.
The Senate made it easier. AT 3.30 am Saturday, August 4, 1990 The Senate made it even easier for the Executive branch to subvert the Constitution and may had made George Bush the first America King. At that time on that day, a minority of US senators, maybe ten at the most, Passes Senate Intelligence Authorization Act for Fiscal Years 1991. The President was given the power to initiate war, appropriate public funds, define foreign policy goals, and decide what is import to our national security.
Title VII, S.B. 2834 authorizes the following:
Gives the president power to initiate covert actions (this had never been given to a President) prevents Congress from stopping the President’s initiation of covert actions: allows the President to use any federal “departments, agencies, or entities” to operate of finance a covert operation: empowers the President to use any other nation or private contractor of person to fund or operate a covert action: redefines covert actions as operations “necessary to support foreign policy objectives of the Unites States ” a definition that is so vague and broad as to be essentially unlimited: for the first time officially claims the right of the United States to secretly interfere in the internal “political, economic, or military affairs,” of other countries in direct and flagrant violation of international law, requires that the President prepare and deliver a written finding to the Intelligence committees of the Congress but allows the President to omit “extremely sensitive matters, ” and authorize the President to claim executive privilege if Congress ask too many questions.
So, is it any wonder that so many men want to become President? Obama has a kill list, that he goes over every Tuesday morning.
And this law is what gave him the power to kill anyone, anywhere, anytime, with his drones.
This it should give every patriotic American a warning, when Harry Reid, leader of the Senate, with full support of the President, calls Americans who defend their rights as terrorists.
This week, we have a more than welcomed surprise…a Constitutional expert who warned Congress about the danger our Constitution is in, and how the President holds too much power. Jonathan Turley agrees with many things that Obama wants to do, but now how he is going about doing it.
“The fact that I happen to think the president is right on many of these policies does not alter the fact that I believe the means he is doing [it] is wrong, and that this can be a dangerous change in our system,” he said. “And our system is changing in a very fundamental way. And it’s changing without a whimper of regret or opposition.”
This coming from a professor out of Georgetown, University? Amazing in itself.
So, Congratulations Mr. Turley! You win the Nobody’s Fool award for the week.
Now, was Congress listening?
Has anybody noticed that our last 5 Presidents talked a lot about the Middle East, Russia, Europe, and South America, but very seldom did they talk about China? Nope. We heard…nothing. Silence. It’s as if they all agreed to do a giant Ob-bi-wan nation-wide mental block: “That’s not the droid you need to talk about…”
Some people know that Bill Clinton took the top guys of our military manufacturers over there for deals, (who since have paid fines for selling our good stuff to China) and we can assume that is still going on. Remember: Chinese were always in the Clinton White House. It’s no secret that they gave a lot of money to Bill at his morning coffee “You paid for it!” meetings there. Spies were everywhere. They even gave one Chinese guy top clearance at Los Alamos, and he took a laptop full of goodies back to China with him—- Just like Snowden. You would have thought Bill would have been screaming about that..but no…silence.
The CEO’s of the multinational companies have nothing whatsoever bad to say about China. Many of them have expressed that, to them: The future is there. It’s so much easier dealing with a dictator than a Congress. If only America were more like her. Of course, it’s all about the global money—and you and I have no clue what goes on…but..when it comes to China…
Bill now, is silent.
Daddy Bush was the U.S. ambassador to China. But, I don’t remember him saying a word about the country. He never talks about China. Silence.
The only time I remember his son, George W. saying anything was when one of our spy planes was shot down in his first term as President, and he had a heck of a time getting those people back. Since then, silence. And he was quite nice at the big Olympics games in Beijing. Nice…and quiet.
Obama…is even more silent.
Nobody talks about China. I didn’t think it was a good sign when our biggest theater chain, AMC, was brought by China. And very slowly, China is injecting herself into countries around the world. Here’s a ghost town in Africa that they built—
Then I got this from a friend last week: This didn’t make much of a splash in the news, but China has big plans to start moving into the United States How? Why WE are going to help them!
A Long Island businesswoman wants to build a massive “Chinese Disneyland” in the Catskills — which would include an amusement park, huge mansions and a “Forbidden City” laid out according to the principles of Feng Shui.
The China City of America scheme could bring thousands of wealthy Chinese immigrants to the tiny Sullivan County town of Thompson, under a federal program that lets foreigners get visas by investing $500,000 in the US.
It also projects a $65 million infusion from the U.S. government – without naming what agency would make the contribution.
What a better way to spy on a country, then to build an amusement park, and bring over thousands of Chinese to “live” in it? You never read about China, but they have cost us and our companies…billions of dollars, by stealing. And spying. They are silent about it, and they’re good at it. They’re like millions of ants–they never take a big bite out of you, but with numbers, they can really leave you in a lot of pain from millions of little bitty stings.
The idea of the Bush “New World Order” was to promote capitalism in China, and everywhere, and then all countries would be dependent on trade and so there would never be a war. Great idea…but—.did they ever imagine that China could do a Reagan on us? No…too many CEO’s were salivating at their people ‘numbers.’ It was just a theory. And how’s it working out?
I have often expressed my worry about my Muslim neighbors, but on that same block, the Chinese are moving in. They have the money now thanks to America. They seem friendly enough, friendlier than the Muslims, but then again, I’m not sure what their plan is.
Why IS China building ghost cities all over the planet?
Probably…anything can happen with Obama as President. But, Nobody Wins when our politicians give them money to do it. And I think, it’s time, our Presidents START talking about China.
The deadly silence from them all, should make us all….wonder why…they never say anything. And why nobody in the press never, ever asks the question: What about China?
When was it decided that China’s markets were worth taking, and worth sacrificing the American middle class? Did some President at one time say: “Just think: We will have big international global trade, and of course, China’s middle class will get built, and our multinational companies will Americanize the East, (And have more money to kick back to our political coffers) —-sure our people will lose jobs, but it’s okay, because they will be able to survive on cheap goods from Wal-Mart. We’ll just turn America into a big service economy…which will eventually destroy the middle class…but it’s a big world out there! Sounds like a deal..and no more wars!”
Hey you tell me.. why the silence. I’m all ears.
Nobody Notes: This template is called Suburbia…I have only one or two more left than I’ll quit. Promise!
In the beginning of Charles Krauthammer’s No. one bestseller, “Things that Matter” he makes the point that even though the things that really matter are outside of politics, politics is what influences literally everything:
“While science, medicine, art, poetry, architecture, chess, space, sports, number theory and all things hard and beautiful promise purity, elegance and sometimes even transcendence, they are fundamentally subordinate. In the end, they must bow to the sovereignty of politics. You can have the most advanced and efflorescent of cultures, Get your politics wrong, however, and everything stands to be swept away. This is not ancient history. This is Germany 1933.”
And so, with an American President that is becoming a dictator, we face the same surmise. What’s even worse, is we could face future force from our own President, who is building an army to obey…just him.
He has fired over 100 of our top generals. The new ones WILL disarm us.
Obama is not just a lame President: He is a dangerous man.
Many of you that read me, know that I have been talking about this exponentially expanding Presidency for years now. FDR had it perfected. Bill Clinton armed North Korea AND China. Bush set up Homeland Security…TSA searches became the norm. Everything they do that is against the America people and the Constitution, is sold to the American people as necessary—- protecting us.
The people that are crying out against Obama’s tyranny will be targeted, and punished. Obama has said so himself. The IRS scandal, that our politicians did nothing about, is proof. Our military being trained to spot patriots as the enemies of America (who is Obama) is proof. What more do you need? Obama has abandoned all former allies and now arms the very people who kill us.
Yet, his comrade professors are crying out for another term. Will Obama become the final American President?
Let me tell you what frightens me the most tonight: ‘President’ Obama and his wife, Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton, and George W. Bush, all got on Air Force One to fly to Africa.
Have you seen any pictures yet? Have you heard ANY reports? Two opposing parties, three Presidents and one future…all on Air Force One…and what could they possibly be talking about?
Tell me…where are all the propaganda pictures? That alone shows secrecy. And that’s not good.
I’ll tell you what they are not talking about: our horrible school system.
Remember hearing then President George W. Bush, laughing when he said, “If this was a dictatorship, we could get more done. As long as I’m the dictator. HEHHE”?
That wasn’t funny….but that’s the corporate executive response.
Presidents don’t even use Congress anymore, and why should Congress care? They don’t even read the bills they pass. Presidents get their laws through the vast unconstitutional apparatuses of ‘departments.’ Obama is always complaining about Congress. He wants Congress…abolished.
Yesterday would be fine by him.
Go to the library, look in the reference books for government offices, and you will see THOUSANDS of them. In fact, half of the population works for the government, and that’s by design. If you have half the people dependent on that government paycheck and pension, the other half won’t be able to get the people that work for the government to stand up to them.
It’s simple—–they like to eat.
That doesn’t leave much of the private sector left to support them AND the 93 million people that are out of work.
Krauthammer is right. Politics can destroy a country. Obama is amalgamation of communism, socialism and fascism—all of which…needs a dictator. And a few men are finally speaking out: FINALLY.
Obama doesn’t care about the law. There is so much proof that he wasn’t even eligible to run, it’s almost a joke. He lets our men die on the battle field. He encourages race riots. He follows the communist playbook for overtaking a government: Create the problem—-Come in with the solution. And because American children don’t even KNOW what communism is, they just don’t recognize it.
That was by design too.
They are taking our wills. Our jobs. Our very lives with denying us doctors.
They are turning the screws. They are leaving us…hopeless.
The official White House pictures that come out of the Mandela funeral kiss-affair will be interesting to see…
So, what can we do? The Presidency can kill anyone without trial: he can ruin their lives with IRS audits: he can suspend ANY law: he can gather dirt on anyone on the planet: he can send them (our soldiers) into dangerous places on HIS orders, without protection, watch them die, and then remain blameless.
Obama actually has the greatest power ever held by one man in human history.
What we will be sure to see..is more staged pictures of Presidents who hold secrets none of us can even imagine…or would want to.
At this point in time, I’m sure even John Adams would agree (If he saw Obama today) that the Presidency should be taken down to just a man who gets his picture taken in the White House and gives diplomatic parties.
Stripped of all power. George Washington never had the power to kill American citizens at a whim. If we can’t impeach the man, call a Constitutional Convention and strip him of the power he is using now to destroy us all.
Our Presidents have become Kings.. and the American people HAVE to stop them…because, in the end, as I am sure Charles would agree—-
The things that matter most won’t matter anymore, if our politics are wrong.
The fight in Washington continues, and the Republicans seem to be caving into the lies of the current President, Barack Obama, who has viciously attacked the “tea party” members of the house, if they don’t give into his full demands. Obama blames the tea party for causing the United States to default for the first time in history. Many of us out here in nobody land, cannot believe our ears…
Because if we do default, it will be by Obama ordering the treasury not to pay the bills. (And with Dr. Lew, he has an obeying lap dog.)
Once again the democratic rule: Do the crime, blame the other guy for it.
Would a President do this impeachable act just to further destroy his enemy, the Tea Party? (In case you’re late to this, the Tea Party are the last Americans standing who want Constitutional rule.)
Impeachment is almost impossible now after the Monica Lewinsky debacle. Bill Clinton should have been impeached when he joined up with our giant military manufacturers to give China our technology. He should have been impeached for giving North Korea plutonian. They could have impeached him for lying under oath. Instead, they made the impeachment about sex, god forbid they cut off their own future campaign coffers. And by doing impeachment on such a trivial matter, they put the country through so much negative emotion about the whole process, we will more than likely never see it supported ever again.
Maybe that was the idea.
And so, with each Presidency the office itself has grown stronger, which is what the elite in the circle we call Washington and Wall Street want. it truly is about the rich against the poor—–a one party system, with one strong leader at the top.
I came upon this picture today. It was taken right before then, President George H.W. Bush, was going to send the troops into combat in the first Gulf War. He kept saying it was to save the poor helpless Kuwaitis from that mean neighbor, Saddam Hussein.
He could have told us that we had struck a deal with the Saudi’s to protect them in exchange for bases on their land, but that wouldn’t sell to us nobodies, who they consider to be better off ignorant of all that they do.
What struck me about this picture…is the expression on his face. And the grace of his hand, as if, he is a Napoleon in history, reaching out for eternity saying. “GO…FREE MY PEOPLE!…YOU ARE MY BRAVE AND HONORABLE ARMY FOR GOOD!”
In fact, the Times editor asked Diana Walker, the photographer who took this picture, to explain it.
“It looks like he’s Moses parting the waters.”
Wow. Tie clips. Just what you need when you are about to be shot.
That reminds me of all the universal corporate “honor” Christmas meetings that I’ve been to, where the bigwigs of corporations would hand out plagues for “most sales.” instead of what most people would have preferred; money.
Anyway, Diana Walker, waited all day to get that shot. The President had been surrounded the whole day by Congressmen who wanted THEIR picture taken with the President. (Speaker of the House Thomas Foley is in the bottom left hand corner walking away.)
Diana got more than a tie clip for this picture. She won the World Press Photo competition. And I’m sure the “President” saw to it that she got that reward. No doubt, this is one of his favorite pictures.
It will be interesting to see what will happen in the next few days. If the House Leaders give into the President, we will have a one-party system.
If they don’t give into the President, we will still have a one-party system, with a ‘benevolent’ dictator at the top, who if you are lucky, will excuse you from Obamacare.
The rest of you…will just have to go to into battle without that tie clip.
So better late than never: A young girl named Andrea Hernandez won a big court victory this month…she took on the big, bad, school system:
A Texas girl who was suspended for refusing to wear a student ID card implanted with a radio-frequency identification chip is being re-admitted to her former high school where fall classes begin Monday, her lawyers said today.
The flap concerns Andrea Hernandez, who will be a junior at John Jay High in San Antonio. She was suspended in January and sued the Northside Independent School District on privacy and religious grounds.
She lost the case and began attending another school that did not require pupils to wear the ID badges. The girl’s lawyers said today that she is returning to the magnet school where the highly contested legal battle commenced. That’s because the district has abandoned its year-long RFID-student monitoring program. Schools across the nation are slowly adopting them as well, despite the Northside district quietly deciding last month to discontinue RFID chips on the grounds that they were ineffective.
Like most state-financed schools, the district’s budget is tied to average daily attendance. If a student is not in his seat during morning roll call, the district doesn’t receive daily funding for that pupil because the school has no way of knowing for sure if the student is there.
The remarkable thing about this is…she LOST the case, and yet, there must have been a lot of outcry from other parents about the ID chips– because the school abandoned them.
Andrea, for her bravery, just saved the Constitution for all those kids.
But—compare that to what happened today. Nobody Wins, when the Democrats use the Martin Luther King 50th celebration as a political rally for all their liberal agenda’s: like Common Core, ‘voting rights’ (which they already have) and the endless blaming of the countries problem on the “other side”— meaning the white conservatives, to further divide the nation instead of uniting it, as Martin Luther King spoke about.
Trayvon was made a hero, and Obama mentioned water boarding. (I told you he would) Obama’s speech was pretty lame.
To watch a President complain about the sad state of the country HE is running, all the while acting as if he is just a bystander, witnessing it all with the rest of us, while it’s HIS policies that have destroyed the job market, (Obamacare was passed without one Republican vote)—is nothing short of astounding.
To see the President of the teacher’s association get up and whine about how bad the schools are when she is in charge of it—As if…these people are getting paid for their jobs, but uh…well, they are just there to observe——
The communists, like Van Jones on CNN, were all ecstatic at the day’s events, but anyone else watching thought it was all the same old promises, the same old blames, and the same old worn out democratic speeches.
Looking back on the speeches, I read this comment today on WND and thought it fit the day well. Eric nails its:
Erik Rush, author of “Negrophilia: From slave block to pedestal – America’s racial obsession,” told WND, “It shouldn’t be particularly surprising that a subculture of young, angry black men is proliferating under President Obama. While his tone when addressing matters of race and racial tension is usually measured and compassionate, his rhetoric is what I call ‘artfully divisive.’ It legitimizes and reinforces all of the worst beliefs of propagandized blacks, as well as the more militant and radical worldview of those who subscribe to same. His administration has also labored furtively but very effectively to heighten racial tension, I submit in order to precipitate civil unrest and thereby advance its communist agenda.”
While EVERYONE was gushing today about how X-President George H.W. Bush shaved his head bald to honor a small child of one of his secret service members who had Leukemia— I was astounded to see all those guys standing behind him. No, ……I was—amazed and shocked that he needed all those guys in this picture to protect him. I always thought they got one or two for the rest of their lives, not 100. I tried in vain to find out just how many secret service are guarding our X- Presidents and kept coming up with the same answer: Most X Presidents have a total of 56 agents, but George Bush Jr. has 103.
Come on. If you believe THIS, we are paying $2 trillion a month for these guys to live in grand style with no fear? One hundred agents a piece?
Is it any WONDER we are going broke?
They get 2 trillion a month and get assigned 100 secret service people each. They also get their kids to go to president schools like Adams family did and Bush.
No wonder they spend billions to get into the White House. Please…somebody tell me this is NOT true. Awfully nice of King George to show compassion, but maybe the taxpayers should be asking…why don’t you show a little compassion to the taxpayers? Do you really need an army?
Once again, the timing of the dedication of x-President, George W. Bush’s library, couldn’t have had come at a more propitious time. The nation had just been attacked by Muslim radicals, giving the Bush family a platform to remind us all, that Bush kept us safe throughout the rest of his Presidency after 9/11. And in this light, it was okay for George himself to push for another Bush in the White House: His brother, Jeb.
As I watched the former Presidents all standing, and then the speeches, I can’t say that any one of them talked about what THEY had done for our country. It was all about how they, while doing the ‘toughest’ job in the world…changed the world, and plan to keep on doing it.
Not much about helping America. No mention of the hard times we are going through now.
I posted Jimmy Carter’s speech, simply because to me, what all of the former Presidents seem to be most proud about is what they have accomplished in other countries. That’s all they bragged about in all their speeches. According to the former Presidents, Bush’s best legacy was his work on aids in Africa. Clinton, Carter, and Obama all mentioned it.
George W. himself continued his great theme of globalization. America’s future is to spread democracy around the world. Never mind that since Bush and Obama, the trillions of American dollars spent to spread democracy around the world has not done a damn thing but strengthen more tyrants and America haters abroad, and destroyed the economy at home.
The theme of Bush’s library is freedom. But…while he dreams of spreading freedom all over the world, in America, the citizens continue to lose theirs.
The Bush doctrine is that only in freedom will democracy flourish, while true and noble….it makes no sense to a religion based on anything BUT freedom. All the children of Islam are brainwashed before they start to walk. I guess Bush thinks sometime 3,000 years from now, the world’s population of Muslims will decide to vote for someone who goes against everything they’ve learned from birth, and will thank George Bush for saving them from poverty and giving them democracy.
Frankly, I don’t see it happening.
Nobody Thinks that the reason all these Presidents have to praise themselves on how what they personally did to further and help the world is because none of them have down a damn thing to help Americans. All of them are too busy helping the rest of the world. Globalization may make good speeches and wonderful ideas for American Presidents who build multi-billion dollar museums to themselves and keep their own families working forever, but they all just become another part of the 1 percent that live among the rich and famous. The Presidential museums will be the last remaining things standing if we keep on this “We will fix the world” path.
George W. Bush comes off as a very sweet and likable man, but so does Bill Clinton. But, they were paid to work for America…not to eliminate poverty all over the world because it makes them feel better about themselves. (Or helps out big corporations who want into the global markets.) We must not judge Presidents on how much we like them as people, but on what they have done for us. And let’s be frank: None of them can be considered great.
So, when Bush started crying at the end of his speech— when he said the future of America will be great…a lot of us felt like crying with him. Everyone said he was crying because of all his friends. But to those watching, he was crying because America might never recover, and he knows it.
Personally, I don’t think Bush is that dumb.
Instead of talking about what they have all done for America, all they could talk about is how much money they sent out to the rest of the world. It’s enough to make you mad. And we still have good men dying in Afghanistan.
After the ceremony, I came across this video of Daniel Hannan, explaining how Margaret Thatcher took a dying England and brought it back to life. It’s what we need here. A President that takes care of his country: FIRST.
That’s what we should have heard today: George W. Bush could have brought America’s strength back. Instead, he choose his own course of “saving the world.”..and because he chose the wrong course, the communists, came forward.
George…you broke my heart.
You know, maybe our “Presidents” should just start building their libraries in Africa, and Iraq, and all over the world. And I apologize tonight to anyone who feels I’m too cynical about them all, because frankly my dear, I don’t give a damn about any of them.
And I will spend the rest of my life, trying NOT to remember the years I spent feeling betrayed, by each and every one of them.
Last week, Michele Backmann mentioned Obama’s lavish lifestyle, and here Bill O’Reilly ridicules her for it, and this Nobody Thinks he’s wrong.
To take on Obama with such a “trivial” matter, when Presidents ALWAYS spend lots of money is not good, Bill says. She should concentrate on the important things.
BUT…in this economy, with so many people out of work, the President should be cutting back. His golf trip to play with Tiger Woods alone would have paid for so MANY things…tours at the White House for one. Our Presidents are big hypocrites and we should expect more from them.
Michele is right. But both of them missed the real point here. The President should have a budget. The office itself has grown into such an expensive KINGSHIP, they make any King or Queen on earth look like misers in comparison. For instance, what President had to build a ‘replica’ of the Oval Office while the real one was being upgraded? Most of them moved into a hotel, or another room.
The American people find it disgusting what Obama and Michelle are spending on our dime, taking monthly vacations…and Bill O’Reilly, seems to think it’s okay for a President to go hog-wild with his money spending because all Presidents have done it.
That doesn’t make it right. It’s like saying “Hey mom…all the kids do crack!…It’s Okay!” It’s the same argument. Bill’s argument is weak.
So, Michele Backmann wins the Nobody’s Fool award for the week. I hope she hangs in there.
Nobody Gets Email
This is probably the best rant you will ever hear on Gun Control…and on top of that, it’s fun!
What was even more fun was that as I was getting this off of YouTube, one of the comments was:
“This guy is not president. He is not on the podium, it’s a fake.”
–as if he was letting everyone know this wasn’t real.
As I post this, I’m watching the Republicans at CPAC on C-Span. Sarah Palin gave a lot of rousing one-liners and the crowd loved her, but it was Phyllis Schlafly, who hit a home run with me. She attacked the established Bush boys and Karl Rove. She attacked the failing candidates loses that they have run: Bob Dole, John McCain, and Mitt Romney. Phyllis was the clearest-minded to my mind about how the old guard just has to go.
She didn’t get much applause, and that’s why…IF they run Jeb Bush in 2014, a lot of us won’t vote. The RHINOS will not go quietly into that good night. So…
We should let them all know…NOW. If you run Jeb Bush, we won’t show up.
(Thanks to amfortas for the video)
I hate to say it, but I will: I never liked George H.W. Bush the first. There was something almost pansy about him…and for those of us who were living when Ronald Reagan was President, Daddy Bush (I always call him Daddy Bush) was annoying in comparison. His high winy voice grated on me. I hated to watch him on TV. The “Read my lips” phrase that he made, was more than just a blunder, it was almost as bad as when Bill Clinton wagged his finger and said, “I did NOT have sex with that women.”
Condescending Presidents…Why do they get so uppity and snotty, and condescending? Reagan never did. He was gracious throughout his life. He believed in us, and we believed in him.
And like most people, I hate liars. When Daddy Bush launched the first Iraq War…he gave the excuse that it was a NOBLE ONE…to ‘protect the poor innocent Kuwait’s.’ A big bully Saddam was attacking his neighbor, and the U.S. was going in to help. Every single politicians uses that excuse every single time they send our boys somewhere….because we are a good people, and it works.
We should stop falling for it.
Back when Daddy Bush was President, I hadn’t read about the great deals that President’s had made during WWII….how the British, and the Americans helped carve up the middle East. The oil deals FDR made with the Sheiks of Saudi Arabia. I didn’t think about all that….I just listened to the “glory” of an American victory.
But I’m younger than that now. And when George W. Bush ran, eight years of the masterful lying Bill Clinton was so bad, George was easily elected. And then 9.11 and we’ve been at war since.
No one in the Bush administration went down for not protecting the skies over America. The lies they told about it…”We NEVER imagined”…yada, yada: …were almost criminal.
So, eight years of Daddy Bush, eight years of Bill Clinton, eight years of Daddy’s Bush son, eight years of Obama, and now…they want to add eight years of Jeb Bush. That’s 24 years with one family.
I don’t think I can take eight years more of Daddy’s Bush continuing dreams of globalization..and eight years is a long time in one life. Lots can happen in eight years. It’s almost like there’s a club of elites who just rotate the power…isn’t it?
Last week I was listening to the Rush Limbaugh program and a caller called in and was in despair: In his lifetime, he realized he would never live to see America come back to its sanity. Rush was agreeing with him but he insisted that we must think of the grandchildren.
WHY? Don’t we have a right to get it right for ourselves in our own liftime? To me…that was accepting defeat.
And that’s what seems wrong to many of us.
For instance: Jeb Bush. Jeb Bush has been on every single talk show he can think of: it’s said he is promoting his book, but there isn’t one reporter that cannot help but ask him if he is running for President. And if you notice, he got a big touchy about it when asked who was the better candidate from Florida to run for President, himself, or Marco Rubio.
“Man you guys are crack addicts, you’re really obsessed with all this politics,” Bush said.
Obviously, Jeb Bush wants to run for President. He had come out early simply because Rand Paul is making a nice entrance as a contender with the filibuster, and the GOP-Rhino’s have to get their boy out there. Both his father and his brother have come out publically on many occasions and said they want to see Jeb in the White House. So, Jeb wasn’t mad about being asked if he is going to run…just like a true politician, he can’t announce it now…timing is everything, but the sound of Marco Rubio’s name infuriated him.
I am sick of lying politicians: Just be honest and say you’re going to run. Don’t give us this, “I am going to do what’s best for my family and the country.” crap.
What’s best for the country, is not another Bush. (Or Obama or Hillary, OR Bill) Leave the place empty…good lord, that poor house needs to be aired out.
I remember Daddy Bush taking Jeb to see Obama in the White House…several times. I have said, and I still say: That what the liberals should be harping about is that the good old boy’s white man WASP club wanted to let a black man in the White House, because the truth being, they wanted Universal Health Care to pass, and amnesty and they didn’t want the GOP to be remembered as having passed it. Even Jeb Bush says that next to Obama, George W. Bush will be well thought of.
So…Daddy sees it as Obama will be SO bad, everyone will welcome Jeb just like they did George W.so many years ago because they were sick of Clinton. If Jeb had run last time, he would have lost.
For Jeb Bush to say that reporters are addicted to politics, while he is appearing on all their shows promoting himself to be the next President, while at the same time saying he is from the Reagan party…is so insidiously hypocritical, it’s almost laughable.
If anyone is an addict, it’s the Bush Family. They are so addicted to power, they plan to have President from their family clear up into the year 3000. . And the Bush Presidents, have just as much as Obama—- have helped to put America where it is today.
Too bad they don’t have Betty Ford power-rehab for politicians.
What do we do? We stand up for any Tea Party people we can…we keep on yelling, fighting, and get louder. And we should demand that the rich boys in Washington give power back to the people…and in our own lifetime..
Sorry Rush…if you can’t see that we deserve better in our own lifetime… then obviously, the Bush family is still sending you birthday cakes. And you will be leading the nation on the Jeb Bush for President pathway…
Don’t be surprised this time, if even more of us…stay home.
A 5-year-old Pennsylvania girl who told another girl she was going to shoot her with a pink Hello Kitty toy gun that blows soapy bubbles has been suspended from kindergarten. The next day, the girls involved were ‘interrogated’ by school officials. By the time the girl was done speaking to administrators about the incident, she was crying. A teacher called out the girl in front of her class and told her police may get involved.
Her family has hired an attorney to fight the punishment, which initially was 10 days for issuing a ‘terroristic threat.’ But her punishment was reduced to two days after her mother met with school officials and had the incident dropped to ‘threatening to harm another student,’ which apparently carries a lesser punishment.
Bubbles are now…a terroist threat? Who knew? Can I still take a bubble bath without the FBI knocking down my door?
Good thing they caught that girl in time. Nobody can even imagine what might have happened if she had actually SHOT that other girl…with a deadly bubble. Looking dirty is in style now. The soap on her skin would have been too much for anyone to witness.
On the other hand, a bank in Texas keeps getting robbed by “Yankees” and the bank manager has put a sign on his door saying, that he allows everyone who is legally carrying a gun, to COME ON IN and help out catching those Yankees that are robbing his bank. Not since Jesse James has a bank manager taken such force.
The South has not died.
The ‘President’ is not too happy about this as you can imagine.
So…who wins the Nobody’s Perfect award for the week?
They were the last band to march before the President at his inauguration today, and somehow, after hours of waiting in the cold, they manage to insult the President by playing his least favorite song:
Oh Shenandoah…we long to see you…away…you rolling rivier…
Nobody is sure that they will be attacked, with drones shooting bubbles, as soon as the President can give that order.
You cannot insult the President.
Nobody Suggests we all stock up on those deadly Bubble Guns right away, before Obama bans them. I might even take a trip down to Texas and help that bank manager out with those “Yankees.” In fact…the Bubble gang is already on the way…
