Nobody’s Fool: Klaven and Whittle

Nobody’s Fool

Thanks to a Facebook posting on amfortas’ site, I discovered that Bill Whittle is having discussions on just about everything…so here’s one that will pertain to this week’s terror attack in Paris.

More than half of the media is taking the line that it was the artists that posted that awful cartoon should have known better. We should…basically shame them. .

You could say the SAME argument for a women in a very sexy outfit if she was raped. She should have known better.

This very same argument WAS used by both Hillary and Obama after Benghazi: a video insulting Muhammad was released and offended Muslims. They not only apologized profusely to all Muslim nations for that video, (spending millions on a commercial) they jailed the man who made it.

And so…This week I give Whittle and Klaven the Nobody’s Fool Award, for helping to point out the insaneness of “tolerating” certain behaviors.

We should PROTECT the right of free speech…if Christ can be peed upon in a New York Museum, than so should an image of Muhammad.

If we keep condemning the artists and journalists than that means that many artists in the world should work in fear.

It might start with the picture of Mohammed, but it could then expand to annoying and malicious things said against a President of the United Stated.

You either stand up for your right to freedom of speech, or you don’t.

If Islamic countries want to make it against the law, then let them. BUT….if Muslims live in Western nations, where free speech is rule of law, then they either put up with it, or move back to Mecca.

Like much of the other laws of that religion, it is simply…in any sense of the world: Tyranny.

  1. I am impressed by both Klavan (unusually polite here about Ultimate Truth – ie God, by definition) and of course Bill. Bill has hit his straps over the past few years. A clear thinker and excellent presenter of ‘consequence’.

  2. Another timely article from American Thinker:

“As the Islamic invasion advances, mosques are proliferating across the United States at breakneck speed. And there appears to be no end in sight.

Since 9/11, the number of mosques in America has grown by 75%. The timing of this is no coincidence. Mosques are a symbol of Islamic supremacism. Islam attacks. Then it plants a triumphal mosque on the battlefield. And another. And another. And another.

The proliferation of mosques is also a sign of our incomprehensible response (or lack thereof) to the threat of Islam.

War has been waged against the United States and what have we done? We have welcomed the enemy with open arms. Dhimmitude has paved the way for hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of new mosques since the day nearly 3,000 Americans were murdered in the name of Islam.

If we don’t put an end to this madness, we will ensure the continued assault against us – an assault that, ultimately, will spare no one. (Do you hear that, dhimmis? That includes you.)”

  3. Allow me to post a snippet from an essay by a retired engineer on WUWT. The topic was “anthropogenic global warming from a control systems standpoint” but the conclusion applies to many areas of contemporary society:

“I had a discussion with a gloomy friend today. We agreed the world is a mess because people don’t think, they follow leaders, trends, emotional narratives, received wisdom.. Never once do they step back and ask, ‘what really is going on here?’…

…I feel more scared these days than at any time in the cold war. Then, one felt that no one would be stupid enough to start world war three. Today, I no longer have that conviction. Two generations of social engineering aimed at removing all risk and all need to actually think from society has led to a generation which is stupid enough and smug enough and feels safe enough to utterly destroy western civilisation simply because they take it totally for granted.”

    • Great comment, and no kidding…it’s hard to believe how brainwashed and misled SO many people are.  Funny, I just got finished writing about that very same feeling. Thanks snopercod!
