How old are you?
Well, I must admit, I first heard this song on late night Coast to Coast. My husband snored big time, so I would listen to the radio to fall asleep. And George Noory the host, would play this song, between visits with Alex Jones and UFO witnesses….and laying in the dark, I wondered who he was sending this out to. The words are precious…and they still put an ache in my heart. The Beach Boys were such a happy part of the American California Dream. And the fact that California is no longer a ‘dream’ is a sad thing to think about. BUT…thanks to the internet, we can pull up our favorite old songs, and go back to the moment in time, when we listened to them, and thought about that certain person that we loved, then…and now.

I am a nobody. If the different classes of America were color-coded, I would be in the yucky brown, one rung up from the bottom. I grew up in Naples, Florida and live near the Mississippi River now with my husband and two dogs. I am part of the slowly disappearing middle-class. I was a musician most of my life: drummer/singer/keyboards—but I retired before the plastic surgery flu hit. I have no degrees, which could be a good thing…depending on how you view our educational system. I do have three patents…but that really doesn’t make me a somebody. The one thing that is constant in my life is my OPINIONS, which i have more than perhaps even Carl Sagan could have imagined…mostly political. (yes…my ancestors were crabby buggers)
Hopefully other nobody’s will put their opinions on my site. But, if you happen to be a somebody, you’re more than welcomed to help out.
It’s my Nobody Opinion that Nobody’s Perfect, and Nobody Cares, that Nobody Knows why Nobody Wins, and when that happens, Nobody Wonders, why Nobody Flashes, why Nobody’s Fooled, but then Nobody remembers that Nobody ALWAYS Reports the truth.

Yes, I love that song. And to listen to it IN the dark…with earphones on, with those harmonies…enchanting is the word.
I miss listening to George Noory. He’s hardly on the radio any more. But HE jump started Alex Jones career and never got credit for it.

Thanks Joy~ we’re relatively healthy now that Spring seems to be on the way (altho’ I hated going to DST). 😉 Hubby and I took our two local granddaughters and the rest of their family to lunch after church yesterday (to celebrate their birthdays which are about 5 weeks apart). It was fun. 🙂
Speaking of DST, I wish someone would convince congress to abolish it and go back to Standard time year round! When I was a kid it was only for six months each year. It was started by the Dems of course, during WWI and again in WWII (altho’ the extensions to 7 then 8 months were done by Republicans).
I was told years ago that DST was for the farmers, but farmers actually hate it! And studies say it’s very unhealthy for a variety of reasons. Okay, I’ll get off my soapbox!
