Joe Biden’s Country?
Nobody Remembers: July 4th, 2022
I hoard only one thing: old magazines. I try not to, it’s just that the history of America is written in some of them, and if you go through them, you can compare then to now: For instance, I was looking at an old AARP magazine from July 4th, 2022. Joe Biden was President, and the magazine was full of country singers, with the Title “Or Song for America” Here’s are some of the country singers comments…
Loretta Lynn: Freedom for me was what I learned comin up from the holler, though I might not have known it as a young girl, it was freedom to do as you wanted, love as you wanted, and say what you wanted even though some people might not like it. (X)

Willie Newson: Hard times have come to us once more. (Yes, they are still here.) We are trying to hold on to each other and to your great America dream for every person. We’r trying to find what unites us…to remember our shared beliefs in family, in love and in your democratic ideals, so we can come through as a stronger America. If we don’t find what unites us, we will again be a house divided. We tried that in the 1860s, and 600,000 Americans died fighting each other. That should be our reminder tht we need to get our shit together and remember the ways we are alike rather than focusing on the ways we’re different.(Well said Wilie)

Wynonna Judd: A man gave me flowers. He was from somewhere like Iran, and he said, “We were not allowed to listen to music on the radio. You don’t know what it’s like to not be able to listen to music.” I don’t. To be an Amercian means I will never had to think about what its like not to have choices.

Clint Black: It really stems from the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, the idea that this was a new thing in the world. They called it an experiment, but it was a lot of brilliant people who had seen how things had gone wrong elsewhere. They created this thing that could be self correcting. They put in mechanisms to keep it from going too far astray. (And today, they found a way around it didn’t they?)

You as an individual for the first time in histroy, have a chance to make positive changes to the country you were born in. That’s a big reason fro me to be glad to be born in the U.S.

Yeah…go figure. Joe Biden’s presidency wrecked those county folks hometowns by letting in an invasion of illegals. In the other articles in this particular AARP issue, were a memorial to the grandmother of Juneteenth. The magazine still cartered to its usual social issures…but this is the conditioning they do. They hit you with the old American themes, THEN slowly make you watch the propaganda.
Funny, though, how could they possible leave out Dolly Parton? They did. She was busy getting ready to join the libs as I remember.
Nevertheless. These feelings are still out there: believe it. And we need more Clint’s…at least we can hope since our generation messed it up so badly, that the kids coming up, will right the ship.
We can only pray.
