Nobody's Opinion

Prince Charles and the Weather…

Nobody Cares

If you did not catch this…it’s delightful! I think that Prince Charles has found his true vocation…I say that with joy, unless of course he sees this himself and decides to one-up on Al Gore’s global warming movie and decide to make one himself. We all KNOW what that would be like. The world according to Charles is going to end in four years.

Anyway…anyone out there can tell me what a bank holiday is?

Don’t they have enough holidays?

Must get boring being a Prince.

  1. Britain has several ‘large’ public holidays, for this and that reason, the Queen’s Birthday being just one of them. They also have November 11th for War Rememberance.

In Oz we have many similar one-day pubic holidays, for the Queen’s Birthday, Australia Day etc and the States also have some of their own.

On the 4th of July we collectively mourn the loss of our favourite child who ran off in the family car and took all the silver.

  3. He did quite well there.

A ‘Bank Holiday’ is a day-off on an otherwise work day. Often a Friday or a Monday. It is additional to an individual’s annual leave and is usually coincidental with some national or notable day. The Banks and most businesses close for the day. Another name for it is a ‘Public Holiday’.
