Did Mike Brown See His Own Death? Or was he just stoned?
Nobody Flashes
We found out at the funeral today, that Mike Brown had a premonition of his own death…well…sort of:
Cal Brown, who is married to Michael’s father, referred to her stepson as “Mike Mike.” She said that they had been having conversations about God this summer and when she was in the hospital a month ago, he told Cal Brown that he was afraid she would “not make it.”
“Mike Mike told me, ‘I didn’t think you were going to make it.’ And I said why and he said, ‘Because I’ve been dreaming of death, seeing pictures of death, seeing pictures of bloody sheets hanging on clothesline,'” Cal Brown told the church filled with mourners. “That touched me. That’s what it was like when he was laying there on the street (after being shot). He prophesied his own death.”
Evidently, unlike Abraham Lincoln who dreamed of his OWN death, Mike thought it was his step-mother that was going to die—-he almost got it right.
After all…he was…just a child. A 250-pound child, but still. Not mentally an adult yet, which is why it was okay to steal cigars.
All kids steal cigars. God bless those little cigar-stealing children, for in Ferguson, all the brown stealing children are forgiven.

I have been very moved since learning of Michael’s premonitions, and Thank the Good Lord Cal led him to God and receiving Jesus before his death. But I truly believe God had “a reason” to forewarn him and “a reason” for taking him. Someone on another website mentioned Michael’s uncle compared him to Jesus and this person said “it would seem these premonitions were more of what God had in store for him if he refused to reform his ways and become more like Jesus and less like the thieves hanging beside him.” (the only reason I took this quote was for the mention of “thieves”) Yet another vision he saw up in the sky the thick gray clouds that lingered from a passing storm this past June and made out an angel. And he saw Satan chasing the angel and the angel running into the face of God. I believe the thieves (and Satan) are the people who he believed to be his friends that were compelling him to do evil to fit in with the group. To steal, strong arm the store clerk, and (maybe) even attack a police officer, which we have yet to come to learn the truth of. I believe Michael was “a victim” of his environment, not so much one that involves poverty or race, for there are poor in every race yet this is not a factor for criminal behavior for every poor person, even of the black race.. But living in an environment of violence, one that involves gangs in the neighborhood, in the community. God knew he would be swallowed by in this evil unable to avoid it; selling drugs, theft, etc. so he decided he would take him rather than let him fall into the hands of Satan. But who knows really? Only God knows, but I know Jesus died on for our sins on the cross and Michael’s sins are forgiven he accepted Jesus as his savior. May he Rest in Peace.

Thanks for your opinion Kseniya….I think you can add to that the high divorce rate– fatherless children. That’s another poverty that adds to the problems of the poor.
