You Want REAL Progress? Ask the Dutch

I read today that Holland, (In the September issue of National Geographic) has done something that is pretty fantastic. While our politicians are basically busy damaging our country beyond all recognition, and robbing her people of a decent living, little Holland has been working. 
Little Holland has revolutionized how to grow food. Cheaply, and without bird killing worthless winds mills, solar panels, Monsanto, or even gas. They use the natural thermos energy underneath the earth to heat their greenhouses.
Here’s some facts:
Since 2000, family greenhouse farmers in Holland have reduced dependence on water for key crops by as much as 90 percent. They’ve almost completely eliminated the use of chemical pesticides on plants in greenhouses, and since 2009 Dutch poultry and livestock producers have cut their use of antibiotics by as much as 60 percent.
Holland is the world’s number two exporter of food as measured by value, second only to the United States which has 270 times it’s landmass. More than half the nation’s land area is used for agriculture and horticulture. Some of these greenhouses cover 175 acres. 
While our politicians were spending millions funding electric cars and windmills, and wasting our money on Solyndras, Holland has invented, how to grow food indoors, without depleted soil, and they produce all their own energy, and fertilizer and they even manufacture some of the packaging. 
The people from all over Holland get together once a year and they have come up with this. They use natural bugs instead of pesticides to keep the plants healthy. And they have their own bee supply. This tripled the crop as opposed to plants that are subject to pests outside.
In other words: This is the REAL deal. This is real progress. This shows that even if climate change was REAL (which it’s not) no problem.
Think of how America could do this: Our crops would not be subject to floods, hurricanes, droughts, tornadoes…and we’d all be eating healthier food, not to mention the food prices would come down.
We could make so much food we could feed the entire county of starving Venezuela.
Of course, there IS one little reason why it won’t happen: MONSANTO. 
Do you think Monsanto is going to give up its trillion dollar, GMO, fertilizer, seed monopoly?
That’s not going to happen. (Oh, Holland makes it’s own seeds too…the ones NOT done in a lab)

Now, if they could only invent a big giant bug to take out Monsanto.
The GREAT Economy of Obama’s, Forgets to mention…Layoffs. LOTS of Layoffs.
Nobody Wins
I was listening to the ‘great’ Obama economic growth report on the radio this afternoon while driving my car, and THEN heard the news that Monsanto, the last remaining big salary jobs corporation remaining in St. Louis, was going to lay off 2,400 workers at its St. Louis Headquarters.
What? Could it be that Europe doesn’t WANT genetically designer crops, I thought? The company says…no problem, they are still making billions, it’s just some of their patents are up. Oh. Good to know that those 2,400 people aren’t being replaced by cheap Chinese labor, don’t you think?
The next news? The United States Steel Corporation was closing their coke plant in Granite City, Illinois, laying off 176 workers.—Union jobs. It’s not the first layoff from this plant since Obama took office.
Granite City is right across the river…and the people of that small town depend on those jobs….they come over from the river and spend their money at the Cardinal ballpark here.
In the meantime, in the middle of this ‘roaring’ Obama economy, the new NFL football stadium that they want to build right down on the Arch riverfront, which so far has NO team really, and no way to figure out it’s backing, just got a bid for a name.
The National Car Stadium!
From CBS St. Louis:
National Car Rental has agreed to pay $158 million over 20 years for naming rights. There may be reason for stadium backers to sweat: Rams owner Stan Kroenke won’t return calls to local leaders trying to stop him from taking the team to Los Angeles. Some Missouri lawmakers have threatened not to appropriate money for the stadium bonds unless there’s a public vote on the plan. And a city alderman is threatening to filibuster the local stadium funding package until the mayor delivers a plan to fight crime and poverty.
So the question is…how can anyone believe that the economy is growing when so many people are still getting laid off?
If they can put more officers on the streets of downtown, (taxes) and IF they can bribe the aldermen to go ahead and make the taxpayers fork out more money, (even though we are still paying for the old stadium) those Monsanto workers might be able to get a job in the new stadium…selling hot dogs! I bet some of those old Monsanto employees could come up with some really fantastic tasting hot dog, with cool new names like Roundup Doggie, Bovine Big Boy, or maybe even design a hot dog that has caffeine.
It’s a win/win!
Maybe some of those laid off steel workers can put together a decent football team. All those years lifting steel, I’d say they’d be more than fun to watch.

Nobody suggests we call this the “National Hunger Games Ram the Taxpayers Again Stadium.” If the taxpayers have to pay for this stadium, it’s only fair we get to put our two cents into the name.

China-St. Louis: The New Global City-State Begins

Many of my readers may have wondered why I was all gung-ho on Donald Trump when he said he might run for President earlier this year. Like many Americans, I like the way he laid into the Chinese, who he claims laughs at us, and he’s right. Our ‘elected’ politicians have been selling out American for years to the Chinese, and now, starting next year, China has picked a hub to claim as her own…St. Louis.
And WE (the local taxpayers and that includes me) are going to build it for her—like it or not. The rest of it that is: We’ve been building the airport infrastructure for over a decade…waiting…waiting…waiting for China.
Yes, we the people of St. Louis built a humongous runway, starting about fifteen years ago. All the negotiations have been done in secret, but we didn’t need it. It’s a ghost runway. But with the global chess board we see they make the deals: China lets in GE, Disney, Microsoft, Ford, etc, to their markets, and now, they want direct access to ours. They are trying to sell it as good for our dead city…the Chinese will bring jobs, not that we have any say in the matter because we don’t.
China is moving in, with the blessings of both political parties. China is asking Missouri taxpayers to build a cargo hub called Aerotropolis, for the use of Shanghai- based China Cargo Airlines. Our politicians expect to give the Chinese $360 million in tax credits to subsidize this cargo hub, with millions of square feet of warehouse and factory space.
(If you build it, they will come…)And there will be one man, who will determine who GETS that money.(see above video) We can all guess who that will be…(see video below.)
China will flood the country with its products, and in return Monsanto (whose world headquarters is here) will send its food back to China. Monsanto will use the Midwest area for a vast global farming experiment, and who knows what deals they have worked out?
It seems obvious, to this nobody, that when the dams were broken all up and down the middle of the country this spring and the little farmers were flooded out of their family homes, that OUR government had other plans for that fertile area. We will be working with China to feed not only our country but theirs. And more than likely, they will bring in their own people to do the work. No? Read this:
Phyllis Schlafly: Despite California’s 10 percent unemployment, China will son finish rebuilding the great Sand Francisco Oakland Bay bridge damaged in the 1989 earthquake. A Chinese company built the construction machinery and the 12 bridge segments in China and is installing them in California using 3,000 imported Chinese workers (steal cutters, welders, engineers etc) paid $12 a day, workingl7 a.m. till 11 p.m., seven days a week, and sleeping in a company dorm. Like the illegal’s being flooded into our country, with the help of our own politicians (that includes Mr. Perry) this too will come to pass.
Van Jones, Obama’s green jobs boy, already has plans for the blacks here to become farmers. Learning how to grow crops is being instigated into our school systems in the guise of teaching kids to eat healthy. Fifty years from now, the city will be half Chinese, and half black, and most everyone will be working for China lifting crakes, or planting squash, just like they do in China.
Tell me, who benefits from this?
A young man from St. Louis, when reading of this fabulous China coming to “take ” over our basically dead city said this:
Where I see this getting interesting though, is that St Louis sits in the middle of the bread basket and it could become a much larger player in the agricultural industry. Not just food, but seed, fertilizer, feed and vaccines as well..
The young have already been brainwashed.
If Trump were President, would he keep the Chinese from taking over our country from the inside?
I don’t know, but NOBODY, and I mean nobody else on the political scene is taking about the big fat Mao in the room…and they should be.
You know, our airport had a direct hit last spring by a F-5 tornado. I live not far from there, and have myself witnessed cannons of some kind of fire, being shot into the sky from around the airport. China is the leader in weather modification. And you know what Mao always like to say…
“It’s always darkest before it becomes totally black.”
Really? Something tells me the ‘majority” of the white workers, farmers, and other “enlightened” people who form the majority of the population might disagree.

I am a nobody. If the different classes of America were color-coded, I would be in the yucky brown, one rung up from the bottom. I grew up in Naples, Florida and live near the Mississippi River now with my husband and two dogs. I am part of the slowly disappearing middle-class.
