I am a nobody. If the different classes of America were color-coded, I would be in the yucky brown, one rung up from the bottom. I grew up in Naples, Florida and live near the Mississippi River now with my husband and two dogs. I am part of the slowly disappearing middle-class. I was a musician most of my life: drummer/singer/keyboards—but I retired before the plastic surgery flu hit. I have no degrees, which could be a good thing…depending on how you view our educational system. I do have three patents…but that really doesn’t make me a somebody. The one thing that is constant in my life is my OPINIONS, which i have more than perhaps even Carl Sagan could have imagined…mostly political. (yes…my ancestors were crabby buggers)
Hopefully other nobody’s will put their opinions on my site. But, if you happen to be a somebody, you’re more than welcomed to help out.
It’s my Nobody Opinion that Nobody’s Perfect, and Nobody Cares, that Nobody Knows why Nobody Wins, and when that happens, Nobody Wonders, why Nobody Flashes, why Nobody’s Fooled, but then Nobody remembers that Nobody ALWAYS Reports the truth.

Hmmmm. All that ‘comparison’ to the EU. Why? What I see, and many others do to, is Europe ‘catching up’ with the sovereignty dissolution that America started when it whittled away States’ rights and increased the power of the federal Govt. The central US ‘Fed’ bank itself was way before any central EU bank. The post war european enterprise was to tun all the independant countries on that continent into a ‘United States of Europe’. Not that such was the declared objective, but that is what it is. America had a ‘common currency’ way before the EU. It had freedom of movenemt and trade between States well before the ‘shengen’ treaty. To claim that a secret cabal is tring to make America follow Europe is a long bow to draw and the arrow is put in it backwards.

Here’s the difference: The EU is a government of rich elites who were NOT voted in by the people…there is no representation, and the countries submit their sovereignty to Brussels. They want to join Canada, Mexico and the United States into a ‘union’ with one currency….much like the EU. The people have no say in the matter. The sovereignly of all countries will answer to a body of non-elected elites. I am not making this up…its in the United Nation charters and all over the internet. Look around the internet… I don’t think you can compare the ‘states’ with separate sovereign countries,…different in language, history and culture. It was more like your Scotland and Ireland and England. People in the states were all Americans… Besides the great banking systems started with the Rothchilds…and they are still in control of most all of it. The Federal Reserve is a PRIVATE bank.

You are right to point the differences, but they are almost irrelevant to the argument. The ealy US States were quite different once and once, too, you could vote for representatives. Now those same are crooks and carpetbaggers in a similar mold to the unelected european bureaucrats. The EU does actually have an elected parliament, by the way MEPs. They rubber stamp the ‘committees’ orders just like the elected parliaments of the countries do. The States in America are subject to Federal Government Laws, remember. The entire mess is corrupt. By the way, the first ‘Federal Reserve’ style bank was the Bank of England. That is a private bank too.
