Nobody Flashes “Burn It to the Ground” X-Mas Lights
Nobody Wonders—
What the name of this video is: I think it was called “Burn it to the Ground” but it was right next to, “The Best Way to Annoy Your neighbors!” so…take your pick.
Whatever. I thought it was fun. I’d be rocking in front of his house, with a bottle of something, and lots of candy, and my new funky hat.
Just about this time next week, we will all want to throw darts at Bing Crosby, and his “White Christmas.” because sometimes you can get too much of one thing.
Just thought I’d post something a bit different.
ENJOY!

Gordon friggin’ Bennett !
We have some ‘displays’ at Christmas too, with people cruising neighbourhoods where ostentatious folk light up their houses. But not on this scale. And I haven’t heard Bing Crosby’s ‘White Christmas’ for at least 25 years.
Of course, that might have something to do with being in the deep south of the southern hemisphere. Down here the nearest ‘White’ is Antarctica.
Human beings are sooooooo creative. The Bill Gates era has brought is the ubiquitous computer, without which such displays would not be possible. But sometimes (all too often to my mind) things get out of hand. The CV of the teenager (in mind if not years) responsible for that video display will no doubt win a job very soon and he? will go on to murder celebrations on a far grander scale, probably at public expense.
His? ( I say his as I just cannot imagine a woman or even a geek-girl creating such a monstrosity) musical choices need some work. At least you could understand Bing when he sang. That raging, shouting, thumping cacophony would certainly give Santa’s reindeer a bit of worry. They have work to do at Christmas and the skies are full enough of roaring machinery without adding to it at the roof-landing places.
The chap needs to work on his appreciation. He needs some work just to pay for the electricity bill.
Hey. Tell me it WAS a female. And tell me I am just too full of anticipation of a nice family Christmas.
