Nobody’s Fool:

If you’ve never heard of Wayne Allyn Root, I can understand why.  I can say with assurance that there is probably at least two NSA agents monitoring his every world. So, now is the time for me to share him with you. According to his bio from his book:

Wayne Allyn Root is a Capitalist Evangelist. A former anchorman and host for CNBC, 2008 Libertarian Party vice presidential nominee , and current executive vice-chairman of the Conservative Caucus, Wayne regularly appears on  Fox News and has written for a wide variety of national publication including Forbes.com, the Blaze, and he Washington Times.

Here’s a few of my favorite quotes from his book :The Ultimate Obama Survival Guide from the chapter called, Detroit–the Model for Obama’s America:

• Detroit, under 100-percent Democrat control for decades, is a preview of Obama’s  America.

• President Obama got re-elected in part based on his claim to have rescued Detroit and American auto manufacturing.  His opponent, Mitt Romney was demonized by Obama as the man who would have “let Detroit go bankrupt.” Obama let GM go bankrupt and rigged the process to stiff bondholders so he could reward his union cronies with billions in bailout money from us, the taxpayers. Your heirs will be paying the interest on this debt fifty years from now.

• Detroit is not only $2.5 billion in debt, the debt has been downgraded to junk status. Obama’s American is $16 trillion dollars in debt. (if you add our unfunded liabilities, it’s over $100 trillion)
• Because of too many government employees paid way too much and allowed to retire way too young, with obscene pensions and unaffordable health care paid for like, Detroit has $11 billion in government employee retirement obligations. The unemployment rate is 50 percent.
• Seventy five percent of the children born in Detroit in the past twelve months were born to unmarried mothers.

Detroit is the murder capital of America.

• Almost 50 percent of the adults in Detroit are ‘functionally illiterate.

• Vast swaths of Detroit look like a war zone in Baghdad or Libya.
• One fifth of the lights along Metro Detroit’s freeways are no longer working because copper thieves have stripped the metal from the transformers.
• By re electing Obama, a majority of Americans after decades of being dumbed down and indoctrinated by members of the public school teachers unions voted for…Detroit.
• Be scared. Be very scared.

Wayne deals from boatloads of common sense. He doesn’t pretend that the future is rosy, and frankly, I like that.

I do not buy many books anymore, but I plan on adding this one to my collection.

So, Congratulations Mr. Root! You are my Nobody Fool for the week!
