After the last week, I thought that we should end on a good note, and President Trump made that happen today. It was glorious!
He gave one of the best press conferences ever given by any President that I remember, and the reason it was so great, is that he just tells the truth. And the Trumpsters, LOVE it! Not so much the press, which as you will hear all weekend, are insulted, hurt, and besides themselves that this man of the people, is sticking UP for the people, and actually doing what he promised.
And here he is putting the coal miners back to work, to the benefit of us all, with the help of a few Congressmen who cared.
This was a big deal, for all of us. Al Gore laments that in the desert, in the Middle East, why…the temperature got up to 165 degrees in the desert! The earth will become uninhabitable, he says. Al Gore will have to give up one of his many houses, to save us.
And what’s better than coal? Solar panels are lame, too expensive, and kill millions of birds. Using corn for Ethanol was actually more environmentally damaging and expensive than coal. And frankly, while nuclear power might be a good thing, the whole planet pays a high price when things go wrong. You don’t want to even KNOW what’s happening in Fukushima.
And in less than one month, President Donald Trump has brought back jobs. The stock market is roaring. The only thing holding him back is Congress.
Yes. Jobs. He SAID he would be the greatest jobs President in history, and let’s hope so, because we are in socialist deep doo-do.
From Freedom Manifesto by Steve Forbes:
Today in America there are nearly twice as many people working for the government (22.5 million) than in all of manufacturing. (11.5 million). This is almost exact reversal of the situation in 196o, when there were 15 million workers in manufacturing and 8.7 million collecting a paycheck from the government.
And THAT is why, I was always sure Donald J. Trump was the best hope we had. As much as many of my friends loved Ted Cruz, there is no doubt, Trump knows how to make America great again. America needed a business man.
I hope he does this again, and often.
Yes, I’m going out on a happy note this weekend…and that’s been rare, right?
Thank you, Mr. President! You’re simply the best!
