Nobody's Opinion

Nobody Flashes a Little Joy

Nobody Flashes’

Sometime, somewhere on the internet I must have admitted that this is one of my favorite songs.

And there it was tonight: Right there for me to pick out and post.

At least it wasn’t a commercial for dog food.

Enjoy.

  1. That is so great that your daughter was a ballet dancer! Wow. While I was actually a professional ballroom dancer when I was younger, even taught at Aruther Murry’s for a while, Ballet was hard. I never did quite get that standing on the toes down. People have no idea how much practice it takes to be good at it. I continued to use ballet bar for exercise though throughout my life.

Dance will be a blessing to them both all their lives, whether they do it on stage or not. It’s GREAT physical exercise.

I’d be proud too! You first granddaughter will always have mom to teach her. All she needs is a mirror, and a bar.
    AND…music.

  2. Dear Joyanna,

That was awesome ~ I love the Nutcracker! Our oldest daughter used to take ballet beginning from the age of 9 (for almost 10 years) and she danced most of the dances in the Nutcracker over the years (she was very good – bragging mama of course ;-)). Her daughter (our first granddaughter, age 6) was taking ballet at their last posting, but I don’t think they’ve been able to start it at this latest post [son in love is a career Marine]. Anyway, thanks for sharing this!

    Blessings, Mrs. O
