Can You Train A Liberal To Think?

Nobody Cares

Every summer, I go to my local pool at noon to ‘swim’ in the adult swim club, which basically consists of about 20 old gals over 60, and one old husband who ignores everyone and just snorkels for an hour.

Due to the virus, they are letting us swim three days out of the week. (We pay of course)

Very few of the women ACTUALLY swim. It’s basically a time to just visit and gossip. Something old ladies have been doing for centuries.

Three or four of us are ardent Trump supporters. But ONE of the ladies, thinks Trump is Hitler. She doesn’t want to talk politics.

Now, understand, this lady never worked a job. She was a devoted mother whose husband was a proud union worker at the local Ford plant, which went to China. By the time that the plant moved, she and her husband were already retired on his nice pension. She is the sweetest woman, and I have no doubt raising twins was very hard. She worked hard all her life as a mother. Anyone who has kids knows how much work raising kids are. So, I really do adore her. Just because she hates Trump doesn’t make me like her any less. I just understand it.

Forgive me, but I was in one of my moods. She was all excited about Kamala and said she thought Trump was the devil.

“I LOVE Trump!” I shouted. With a big smile of course.

“Trump is JUST like Hitler!” She exclaimed. “He hires all his family. All his friends committed crimes!”

Okay. I missed that one. I don’t remember Hitler hiring any of his family, do you?

“Is Trump killing the Jews?” I asked. Nobody thought that was funny.

“Do you watch CNN?” she asked? “You just watch FOX.” I should have said, “No, I just watch Tucker Carlson, Hannity and Lou Dobbs.” but I didn’t. She was already turning red.

“I watch them all.” I could see she was getting upset and so I said, “Come on, we can talk and have a different opinion, we are still Americans.”

The conversation was as you would expect. Trump was the reason we didn’t get mail. Hillary committed NO crimes. And yet, when it was announced that our town was bankrupt (it’s run by democrats) and the malls were all closed, she was not fazed.

“Remember, Anne, remember while growing up, we used to go downtown to shop, Ferguson to shop, even up the STREET to shop, now we have to go into another town to shop. All the malls have closed down. The middle class was sent overseas with the last four Presidents and NAFTA. That’s why Trump was elected.”

“The malls closed down because of all the stealing.” she said. Somehow, she didn’t see the problem in this.

“What I’m trying to say, is that you can’t blame Trump for everything, the whole city of St. Louis was falling apart, the whole country long before Trump was in office.”

She didn’t say a thing. I guess she didn’t care.

How do you convince a person who only listens to CNN that the President is really out to Make America Great Again?

What is really happening is: Her life is fine. She thinks her husband’s pension and their SS will ALWAYS be there. She is happy. So, there IS no problem.

But she has three kids, and she admitted that her daughters love Trump.

I laughed and told my friend Petra that if Biden was elected, Ms. Sanders would probably turn us into the police.

“Then my own daughters would be arrested.” She said.

Yeah.

I’m sure this kind of thing is happening all over the country. Over 90 percent of the news is lies against Trump, going out to uneducated people, who don’t even care that the world has changed.

As long as it doesn’t affect them.

But one day, when the government says they can no longer afford to eat meat, or fly on a plane, or drive their cars, or use their water, and control their electric, and they wake up and wonder what happened, even then, they will blame Trump.

That’s how good the progressives are at brain washing.

The notion is: Just ignore these people. But…I am not going to. Because it’s THESE people who will doom us all to a future where, as our President says, “China will rule us.”

And what will they do when they take her daughters away?

Can I educate this woman? Will she even let me?

Uh……I’ll get back to you on that.
