Here’s a fun email…
How would you like to get 32,000 USD for taking care of pandas all day? It sounds too good to be true, but panda caretaker is a real job in China, at the Giant Panda Protection and Research Center.
“Your work has only one mission,” reports China Daily. “Spending 365 days with the pandas and sharing in their joys and sorrows. You need perseverance for this job.
It looks easy and fun right? I don’t know if I could do this 365 days a year…but it’s fun to watch…not too much cuter babies exist than baby pandas. Which makes you think: I bet there are a lot of human babies in China that don’t get this much love.

I used to blog on Townhall, and for a while I was doing blogs called “Absurdity No. 349” or whatever. I forgot how high it got, because as we all know, absurdities abound in daily life…so, on this Friday afternoon before the usual ‘scandal’ dump, here’s a few absurdities going through my head:
Has anyone noticed that all news besides the Presidential campaign has stopped? An American was shot and killed by our government last week for refusing to do something simple like stop protesting, and nobody even said a word.
Rand Paul was silent. Ted Cruz was silent. Donald Trump was silent. Carly Fiorina… silent.
I guess the daily murders of blacks in our cites have gotten us so used to killings we really don’t care.
How absurd is it that we have to keep seeing that young spoiled rich kid who killed four people because he was drunk and raced off to Mexico, and then dyed his hair to look like a drug cartel? Every once in a while I look up, and there’s his mug shot. Do I care? No.
While everyone is talking about Iowa, Obama is starting his campaign to legalize all Mexicans in L.A. Why doesn’t he just give L.A. to Mexico? What’s stopping him? He’s black, he can do anything. Right now, he can do just about anything.
I started watching the GOP debates this morning, and I’m sorry. I truly did fall asleep. There are only so many sound bites of Rubio claiming that he is going to destroy ISIS, and that’s all that matters, that it’s getting so I wish he would just go over there himself and hop in a tank, and start killing them, and leave the long winded speeches out of it.
I’m sorry, John Kasich cracks me up every time I see him. He has a face I’ve seen in a Supernatural Fun House episode. He’s the guy who at the end of the movie gets caught stealing the old ladies’ pension.
I dreamt last night that my van was stolen on some street where I had parked it. (I don’t have a van) I told the cops the exact description, and the cop lady came to me and said. “Due to your swift response we have FOUND the thief.” The thief was a six year old black kid.
“What makes you think this kid stole my van and drove it for 5 miles?” I said. “His foot couldn’t even reach the petals.”
“The kid showed us how he did it.” said the cop.
He put his one hand on the gas, and the other hand on the wheel, while he was down in the foot area of course, he could not see out of the windshield, but the cops thought that didn’t matter.
“I don’t buy it.” I said.
“Do you want to press charges?” she asked.
Well, there I was…the kid was obviously in on the crime and should have to do something, but..what about the adult black MAN who obviously had done it, and put the kid up to it? What about him?
And then I woke up.
And such is life.
As I walked into the kitchen, my husband had spilled a whole bag of frozen blueberries on the floor up, and there I was, barely awake, on the kitchen floor, picking up hundreds of blueberries…
Meaningless in the scheme of things…but about how I feel today.
Life is filled with thousands of blueberries absurdities scattered all over my kitchen brain.
I need a vacation.

Dear God,
Seeing all the beautiful snow, that is not falling on MY house, I nevertheless did have a somewhat depressing day: I was wondering why the human race seemed so insane, and as the day went by, one word kept sticking into my head;
INTERPRETATION.
Yes, It’s all how you interpret the poem isn’t it God? Your poem of wonderment. For instance:
I saw a billionaire CEO at Davos today, telling his interviewer that it wasn’t a good thing that all the wealth of the world was owned by the top 1 percent, but on the OTHER hand…he reminded the reporter that now, just about everybody in the world has a cell phone and everyone in the world is NOW connected! And that’s good! That was his interpretation of the world is right. Somebody else freezing in the cold tonight, with a dead cell phone that doesn’t work, wishes he was connected to his electric blanket. Someone wishes he could PAY his cell phone bill. Someone wishes it was a piece of toast.
While millions of people in the East Coast tonight are going without power, most of them are worried about the two or three paychecks they won’t be getting due to the snowstorm. On the other hand, Congress AND Hillary Clinton are blessing this God event, for Hillary is asking a delay to getting her emails handed over, and BOTH parties of Congress are trying desperately to give Obama the lone sole power to call troops to any place on the planet, including his own country…complete dictatorial power
Glenn Beck claims that Donald Trump will be the next Hitler, but remains silent on the fact that Congress is actually given OBAMA Hitler powers. Donald Trump has never killed anyone, nevertheless, Glenn Beck has killed many of his listeners because he did NOTHING but make huge fortunes peddling America as if it was his right to make money off the poor people who had nothing. Yes, Glenn Beck has become a very rich man peddling the Constitution as if it was his own personal document to sell and he owns the copyright. Only he and Ted Cruz can interpret it. They own the rights.

A man sees a car wreck in the storm, goes to help, and because he says “We should call the police” he get shot dead by the very man he is trying to help. Black Lives Matter would interpret this as a good thing. White lives don’t matter, in the beautiful white snow.
How a man interprets “god” is the most important of all: Half of mankind interprets God to be kind, compassionate, giving, and the other half of mankind interprets God to mean, ruthless and intolerant of anyone who doesn’t have their interpretation of god.
That can also go for those who are “interpreting” the Constitution.
The only thing I do find out God, is that there is no interpretation to the love a dog has for the one who loves it. It is. Like a perfect snowstorm…there is only one interpretation: Love in the eyes of a dog is eternal, and there will always be winter storms.
I’m thinking God, that maybe you should just leave the dogs the planet. Nobody is more tired of trying to interpret the greed of man than I am.

I read the headlines, but I don’t care:
I don’t care about Hillary’s breaking the law with her email server as she has done so many times in her life. I care that she is not in jail.
I don’t care that she wants to be like Angela Merkel of Germany. I care that she wants to be another big socialist who dictates to her nation how to act. Merkel is trying to get Facebook, Twitter and Google to block people who criticize Muslims. Hillary would LOVE to get those companies to block whatever and whomever she feels “bullies” here, and it would start with every conservative that is left.
I don’t care that over a 100 German woman were raped by Muslims in Germany last New Year’s Eve—I care that the people of Germany don’t stand up to their government and do something about it.
I don’t care that they caught El Chapo. I care that they lost him in the first place.
I don’t care that Obama is going after our guns. I care that he keeps spreading the lie that he doesn’t want every gun. He might was well say, “If you like your gun, you can keep your gun.”
I don’t care about the stock market. I care that the average person has no clue how the banks control the economy of the world, to keep themselves rich. I care that when some FOX economic babe threatens Americans with “Don’t elect TRUMP, because you’re prices at Wal-Mart will go up!” can’t be made to shop at Wal-Mart herself.
I don’t care tonight about any of the scumbags running our country tonight.
Tonight I care about Mr. B.
Mr. B was Pattie’s dog. Big guy. Gentle giant. Big brown eyes. Big tan coat. A big mongrel mutt that just wanted to be feed and loved. She told me today she put him to sleep because he couldn’t walk anymore.
No, he wasn’t MY dog. But, I loved Mr. B more than any of my neighbors, and certainly more than most of the people that I see on my TV every day. I didn’t see him often enough, but he was one of the highlights of my nobody life. Always at the door for me to pet…to talk to…to just adore.
I will miss you Mr. B. You were too good for this world. And that’s why tonight…
I don’t give a damn about any of it.
Tomorrow…I will. But not tonight. Tonight…I will just…try not to cry too much. Because damn it…
Dogs are the best. If people could only be so good, we’d have a better world.

Dear Readers,
Before I throw my desktop computer out the window, I thought I’d better give everyone heads up that I am taking this monster in to be fixed.
I have Windows 8.1, and drivers are crashing…I’m lucky I can even connect to the internet.
Now, I have NO idea how long this will be in the ‘computer’ shop, but I am hoping that if I take it in today, it will be fixed by next week.
You know me, I will always blame most everything on a vast left/right-wing conspiracy if I can.
If Hillary can do it, so can I. She did this.
I just finished Mark Levine’s book and Ben Carson’s book, and had a lot to say about both, but it will have to wait.
In the meantime, stand by all you excellent nobodies! I’ll be back!

I usually don’t have much time to just sit around and watch a movie more than once, but yesterday I watched the documentary “What the Bleep Do We Know?” again. Basically it’s about quantum physics and how our very thoughts can affect events and what happens to us. It’s worth a view. Really.
There was one section in the movie where a man said they did an experiment in D.C., a sort of psychic experiment, where they gathered a lot of people who came to the city, and just meditated on stopping the crime rate. It went down that year, 25 percent he said. Of course…that experiment was debunked on Youtube, and I think, it depends—on many things, whether you are a skeptic or not. CAN our thoughts tap into some kind of molecular universal force that will manifest outcomes? After all, Thomas Edison, who was no fool, tried to tap into it.
Some call it the “god” effect, and I must say, I’ve had some really strange thing happen in my life time, that could not have been mere coincidences. Millions of people have this happen to them everyday, but they don’t think about it much.
For instance, when I was 19, I had just started playing the drums, and I remember passing a hotel, one of the maybe 100 hotels in the city and I thought to myself, “Wow…if ONLY I could be good enough to get in a band and play there. Get out of dodge woman… you dream, I said to myself.” And then I forgot that thought completely.
Would you be surprised if I told you that just by random chance, within a month I had gotten a job with my first band, who just HAPPENED to get booked in their next job there by chance? Did I WISH that so much that somewhere in the quantum physics of the universe it just happened?
And what are the odds, that the night before 9.11/ a beautiful rainbow appeared to land RIGHT on the spot in New York City where all those souls were murdered? 
Coincidence? Or quantum physics at work? Or just that force we call God. What do YOU think?

I am a nobody. If the different classes of America were color-coded, I would be in the yucky brown, one rung up from the bottom. I grew up in Naples, Florida and live near the Mississippi River now with my husband and two dogs. I am part of the slowly disappearing middle-class. I was a musician most of my life: drummer/singer/keyboards—but I retired before the plastic surgery flu hit. I have no degrees, which could be a good thing…depending on how you view our educational system. I do have three patents…but that really doesn’t make me a somebody. The one thing that is constant in my life is my OPINIONS, which i have more than perhaps even Carl Sagan could have imagined…mostly political. (yes…my ancestors were crabby buggers)
