The Abomination of Desolation: The Deep State
Nobody Flashes
Two thoughts…for a Sunday…
One from the Bible, and one from a great American General:
From the Bible Encyclopedia:
Daniel the prophet described an abomination so abhorrent and loathsome to all moral and religious decency as to leave its abode desolate, and he used the term:
Abomination of Desolation
Many scholars thought that Jesus prophecy that his followers would see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the Holy Place was fulfilled when Jerusalem was destroyed in the yard 70 A.D, when the Temple was desecrated by Roman soldiers and by Jewish Zealots.
Move on in history, to a letter written by General Eisenhower to his wife Mamie, who was in the mist of the WWII abomination of desolation himself in Europe, trying to win a horrible war against the Nazis.
“Don’t forget that I take a beating every day. Entirely aside from my own problems I constantly receive letters from bereaved mothers, sisters, and wives, and from others that are begging me to send their men home, or at least outside the battle zone, to a place of comparative safety.
So far as John is concerned (their son who was in the mist of battle) we can do nothing but pray. If I interfered even slightly or indirectly he would be so resentful for the remainder of his life that neither I (nor you, if he thought you had anything to do with it) could be comfortable with him. It’s all so terrible, so awful, that I constantly wonder how “civilization” can stand war at all. But, God, How I hope and pray that all will be well with him…I am not fussing at you. But please try to see me in something besides a despicable light and at least let me be certain of my welcome home when this mess is finished….”
Nobody Wonders: Can’t we honestly say that the ‘swamp rats’ in Washington D.C., are actually a reincarnation of the same thing?
Are they NOT…the Abomination of Desolation? Do they NOT want to destroy our Constitution and our way of life?
How many of our own politicians would have such high moral character as to write those words?
You can count them on one hand.
The ‘deep state’ have been trying to get us into another world war ever since Trump was elected…RUSSIA! RUSSIA! RUSSIA! And our President stayed away from the war mongering.
Thank God, we have a great American still…in the White House. America was great under the guidance of General Eisenhower.
And that greatness is what Trump truly wants back….and that is why he draws THOUSANDS to hear him.
And that is why, he will do everything to try to KEEP us out of all wars.

What Would Eisenhower Say About Hillary and Obama? Answer…
Nobody Remembers
NOTE: I’m busy watching the incredible feats of Michael Phelps tonight, so instead of making up my own usual rant, I’m just going to reprint a few paragraphs from A History of the American People.
If you think that Hillary’s and Obama’s record on ISIS is meaningless, remember that we once had REALLY great Presidents…
And Dwight D. Eisenhower was one of them. Read this, and tell me if Trump is not advocating the same principles of government of X President, Eisenhower:
Historians can trace the rise of huge executive power in the United States, accompanied by prodigious spending, through the Pre-World War One years of the Wilson administration, the vast expansion of federal and military power 1917-1918, the revival of large-scale federal industrial projects during the New Deal, their expansion during World War Two on a gigantic and unprecedented scale, and the way in which the onset of the Cold War made a large-scale, free spending federal government, linked to an enormous arms industry, and voracious armed forces, a permanent feature of the American system. Eisenhower’s third principle, reflected in his private diaries and papers was that the security of freedom through the world depended ultimately on the health and strength of the US economy. Given time, the strength of that economy would duplicate itself in western Europe and Japan,—he could see it happening—thus spreading the burden. But the US economy itself could be destroyed by intemperate spending by a greedy, over-large state, generating profligacy and inflation. He said of the military: “They don’t know much about fighting inflation. This country could choke itself to death piling up military expenditures just as surely as it can defeat itself by not spending enough for protection.” Or again:
” There is no defense for any country which busts its own economy.”
(And what has Obama been doing to our deficit? Busting our economy at every chance.)
Normally he ran balanced budgets. What he was most opposed to was a massive, permanent increase in federal commitments. He put holding down inflation before social security because he held that price stability was ultimately the only reliable form of social security. He loathed the idea of a welfare state. He was in fact, deeply conservative.
TELL me that doesn’t sound like Donald Trump.
If Ike was alive, he’d be out there calling for arrest of both Hillary and Obama, and he’d be campaigning for Donald Trump.
Eisenhower was not only one of the greatest generals of all time, he left America AND the world a much safer, and richer place.
Thank God he didn’t live to see what they’ve done to the country.
Trump and Eisenhower: Shared Common Sense….
Nobody Remembers
Donald Trump gave an excellent speech on his foreign policy this week. Afterwards, Bill O’Reilly had him on his program, and was trying hard to get Trump to admit he was going to send in ground troops to take care of ISIS.
I couldn’t figure out— what was the point of the question? Why was Bill trying so hard to get Trump to tell him what he was going to do? That’s half the problem…I’m with Trump..
Our enemies don’t NEED to know.
The American people are pretty pissed off, not ONLY that Bush did a lousy job, by NOT winning the Iraq War, but then Obama just put more gasoline on the fire, and our boys were brought home to a terrible economy, caused by President’s blunders. Obama has had many ‘firsts’ but his most unforgivable one is the sheer number of veterans committing suicide.
Not ONE word of concern from Obama. And he slaps them in the face by every action he takes.
Too many lives were wasted on that war…and both George W. Bush AND Barack Obama are to be blamed.
Trump’s attitude about war, is to me, a sensible one. I was thinking that, he seemed to be a lot like Ike Eisenhower.
Not many people realize this, but Eisenhower was not really affiliated with any party until he ran for President. When he accepted the republican nomination he said his goal was…
“kick from office an administration which has fastened on every one of us the wastefulness, the arrogance, ad corruption of high places,…the bitter fruit of a party too long in power.,”
He was talking about the Truman (D) administration, which in Ike’s words, was full of “corruption…reckless spending…mismanagement of foreign affairs.”
That pretty much describes Washington D.C., 2016…wow. We’ve really come far baby.
Truman fought back—-calling Eisenhower “a liar, a fool, a hypocrite, so ignorant of government after a life in the military that he was at the mercy of the party bosses.”
Eisenhower came back with the fact that Presidents “need to build on the successes of their predecessors “and not try to abandon them simply because the previous president belonged to a different political party. “
Boy, does that sum up what Obama did after Bush, or what?
Eisenhower was always called upon for advice by the wimpy democratic presidents who didn’t have a clue of what to do on the world stage. He was a consultant to President Kennedy on the Cuban Missile Crisis (He would have NEVER gone ahead with it.) LBJ, on the Vietnam war, and Nixon. Not that they listened to him.
And Eisenhower gave every single president the same advice, the exact same advice that Donald Trump gave in his speech this week:
From the book, The President’s Club:
Eisenhower’s advice was consistent, from his days as a general, to his years in the White House, to his role as a veteran counselor: don’t fight unless you are in it to win. Don’t waste time and lives with half measure.
The horror of 9/11 can be traced to the policies of President Bill Clinton. The useless war in Iraq, can be blamed on President George W. Bush. And ISIS can be blamed on President Barack Hussein Obama.
In my lifetime, I’ve seen NOTHING but stupid and destructive decisions made by American Presidents. Reagan was the only great President in modern history. Carter, Bush, Clinton, and Obama were all failures, and have all became mega millionaires….while the rest of America was brought to its knees, time and time again.
It’s time we elect a man…who thinks like Eisenhower, who BY THE WAY…was not only a great general, but the country under his Presidency knew only peace and prosperity.
Peace and Prosperity.
Trump says that’s his goal.
Now…let’s get him into that White House before Obama decides to destroy it.
Nobody Remembers the Hatred Between Truman and Eisenhower
Nobody Remembers
As we witness the slow pounding of the next world war…I thought it was appropriate to remember….this video…and the fight between Truman and Eisenhower.
If you think Presidential candidates attacking each other with viciousness is new, then you haven’t read much history.
Nobody Remembers the Truman VS Eisenhower fight. They started out BEST of friends, while Truman was President. But…once Eisenhower decided to run for the Presidency, all gloves were off.
Once he declared his candidacy, Eisenhower started attacking the very politics that Ike had helped shaped.
From The President’s Club by Nancy Gibbs and Michael Duffey
Truman called Eisenhower a liar, a fool, a hypocrite, so ignorant of government after a life in the military that he was at the mercy of the party bosses, “a babe in the woods of Senator Taft…a military man who doesn’t know anything about civilian problems, in the hands of the reactionaries who speak and work for the banker, the power lobby, the real estate lobby, and all the other special privilege boys.”
But Eisenhower was as shrewd as he could be about reading public opinion and private motives, and understood that his political “inexperience” actually gave him an advantage. When Truman started accusing Eisenhower of “moral blindness” and anti-Semitism and anti -Catholicism, it backfired.
Eisenhower was a war hero. He won 38 of 49 states, including Truman’s home state…the most votes received by a candidate up to that point, AND carried the House and the Senate.
In other words…the people loved him.
I remember one of the ONLY times my own mother ever got really angry at me was when I accidentally broke her “I like Ike, and Ike is good with a Mike.” album. My parents both loved Eisenhower, and I also remember my own father cussing out President Kennedy while he was digging a fallout shelter in our back yard.
Eisenhower turned out to be a great President.
So will, Donald Trump.
And to add the famous phrase from Mel Gibson’s Patriot movie.”Stay the Course.”
