Nobody's Opinion

Obama…Father, President, Marxist: Failure

Nobody Remembers

Last night, I thought Bill Clinton gave the best speech of his life…even though it was full of lies. I thought it was his way of making sure that everyone knew..Bill Clinton would still be a better President than Obama.

There is something about Bill Clinton that just gets my blood boiling, and not because he wanted to prove to the world that he should be President…again.

Tonight, when I got home from dinner just in time to hear Barack’s speech, I only heard a few words, and it was clear…short of a coup, Barack is finished. He gave his usual. …Marxist…Everyone will have EVERYTHING …if you give me four more terms like FDR, speech.

You know…Bill Clinton had that same problem. He wanted to STAY President. The fact that their terms are up in four or eight, just kills them.

Barack’s speech was so lame, I suppose I should feel really good about it…but I don’t. The people in that audience loved it…but you have to be almost a complete moron to not know that Obama can’t do any of those things he wants to do. He’s insane.

As the great political pundit Doug Powers once told me,  “It’s Romney’s to lose.” and I agree. And I’ll tell you why.

The country is worse than any of us realize.

My husband had the week off. Yesterday, we went to the MOST expensive mall in the St. Louis area. This is a big Mall..with two levels of name brands like Macy’s, Victoria Secret, Eagle’s…you know these kinds of Malls are all over the country. We walked for over two hours we walked, and we saw about three other people.

There actually were ten times more people working at that mall than shopping in it.

Today, we went to the zoo. The zoo is free…unless of course you don’t want to walk four miles…in that case parking is $15.00. It’s one of the best zoo’s in the country…and cost a fortune in upkeep. But, I’d say there were again…more people working there than visitors. And it was 86 today…a beautiful day. Even just five years ago, the zoo would have been packed. Sometimes we saw nobody walking around.

But the real devastation of the country hit me tonight. I don’t go downtown much, but in order to celebrate our 20th anniversary, my husband and I decided to go to my favorite fancy restaurant. It sits high atop a hotel right on the Riverfront in Downtown St. Louis. What is so cool about this restaurant is that the whole floor resolves around, it takes about an hour, and you can see the whole city. Picture being on the Empire State Building, having dinner and being able to see all the lights in the city from any direction.

Only…St. Louis is not New York. The desertion on the streets below were almost…scary. It was almost like I was expecting zombies to come walking out of abandoned apartments.

There were four couples in this restaurant which can hold at least fifty tables.

Our meal: lobster & steak: $275. (with tip)

That’s the most we have ever spent on a meal in our lives. We kept telling ourselves “Well hey…20 years…We’re worth it!” But the truth is, in my mind I was thinking, it felt like our last “meal” …..We might never be able to do that again, might as well have one last wish.

On the drive home, I asked my husband to drive a different way home…I wanted to sight see the old city again.  We went past my mother’s old Printing Company, which is now a motorcycle museum. I had to laugh when I saw a bright blue neon line lighting up the whole roof. It’s look like a big Mexican souped Chevy threw up all over the WWII deco.

“Keep going down this street” I said, “I want to see the old mansions.

Let me explain.

In 1904, St. Louis had a World’s Fair. They had countries from all over the world, and all the states were represented. Some of the houses on this street are filled with old mansions left over from that er

Most of them have no fewer than 36 rooms. They truly are beautiful…I know, I’ve seen the insides of some of them.

Tonight, as we were driving, I was looking at the mansion, and in one of them. I saw a big Screen TV. And in front of that screen was a black man watching…no doubt the Democratic Convention

This house is at least a $10 million dollar home.

And that’s why, I don’t’ understand it, when the race card is played.  We have more black millionaires in the country than white, in accordance to the percentage of the racial population, and yet they keep up the shrill of “free education, free houses, free this…free that.”

It’s really…just legal extortion. Done in the name of racial equality.

When we got home, I was glad to kick off my high heels…(Shoes I no longer like to wear) and turned on the Cable just in time to see the Patriotic theme of Obama’s speech…(What was that picture of stained glass going around the internet?) as if putting the American flag behind you is going to make any of us believe Obama is a patriot.

“I’m not a candidate, I’m President.” he proclaimed to large applause.

Nobody Thinks THAT is Obama’s biggest failures is—his own delusion. America’s cities are dead.. It truly is worse than we all thought. Communism will not solve our problems.

If Obama remains in office, we will never be America again.

God then help us all.

  2. As a business consultant ( prior to Going Galt ) I’m probably a bit more aware of new business generation. For over 20 years, I THRIVED on it. But some of Joyanna’s observations are nothing short of stunning! Business people aren’t stupid. They know this has come down to being connected. And like the old poker anecdote; “If you’re sitting at the table, and you don’t know ‘who’ the sucker is, it’s probably YOU”.

So in the game of Picking Winners & Losers (TM) we don’t need anyone to draw us a picture to know where we fit in? I can only IMPLORE the members of the small biz community to keep their powder dry, be patient just a little longer and come at this HARD come November! We can… we MUST.

Congrats on JA’s 20th and it’s so good to see dandapani reading and posting here!

    • Thanks Marshall!   Yes, what overwhelms me with the liberals, is that they have no clue that the “You didn’t build that” is a no brain-er. If a teacher helped you in your lifetime, then it was because your PARENTS paid their property tax.   My mother owned her own printing company, and I remember how when the unions went on strike, the printing business in St. Louis was destroyed. I don’t get it. Do union people and people who work for the government actually think that THEIR taxes pay their own salaries?   Without the private sector, none of them would be there.   Or, have I simplified this too much?   And yes, dandapani is the best..always keeps me on my nobody toes! And is NOT afraid to step on them!

  3. We in Oz have been following these machine-ations, as we do.

The ABC, our taxpayer-paid-for channel, just lerves Obama. In fact they love everything leftie. The ABC constantly talks about President Obama. As if he were our President. I phoned the ABC and asked why do they refer to ‘the Russian President Putin’ and the Iranian President Ahmamadbastard, naming their countries, but simply President when refering to Obama. They had no answer. They just do.

This is an affront to me. America is just one country amongst nearly 200. I have a Queen. (You have a King, but 9almost) everyone likes mine) The ABC continually refers to the Governor General as our Head of State and I am constantly phoning them to say ‘STOP IT’. (The Gov.Gen is a leftie too, of course, her last job being the Discrimination Commissioner).

These speeches going on in the USA show all and sundry of us furriners just how much the American people do not deserve a vote. Most are swayed so easily by the Messiah Complex that is pushed and shoved down American (and overseas) throats. Frankly Joy, I do not think it is soley a Marxist influence. I think there is a fundemental failure in the American psyche that mirrors that in other countries going step by step down that ‘collectivist’ path. It is a path of envy and largely a fantasy envy at that. The ‘leaders’ are pretty well all the same in harnessing this base vice.

I am sure you recall my views of some years back when I ‘ran for President’ of your otherwise fine land. I said, spelled out clearly, that the fault and need for a significant change was in the Character of Americans.

Integrity and Authenticity, Truth, Compassion, Forthrightness and Intelligence are almost completely missing from the debates on both sides. America as a nation lacks Leadership Qualities. A faux-compassion, descending into rank hypocricy and greed and intolerance seems to be the mark of the Democratic voter: The Republicans seem not to know much about their philosophy at all and resort to the reenlistment of the almost defunct Constitution as a fall-back position, but seldom demonstrate any reverence for it when in power either at Federal or State level.

I am knocking, I know, and it is not from any higher regard for my own politicians and parties. Ours are just as useless and our voters are just as thick.

Tend your garden Joyanna. Pay your money and enjoy the view from the revolving restaurant. Rome fell and so did the Library at Alexandria. The Mayans fell. The Spanish fell. The British fell. America will too. But men and woman of good will and sound principle, whilst always being in the minority, will also always prevail. And shake their heads.

    • You hit the mark…and I always wonder how you manage to do it every time.   Yes, Americans have been so dumbed down by our educational system, that the internet seems to be the only place people like you and I can find intelligence.   The kids are not reading anymore, they are texting. Yesterday I saw four mothers pushing their kids in strollers, and they were ALL texting their phones and listening to their Ipods at the same time.   They might as well have been pushing plastic dolls.   And so, I complain. And complain. And complain some more…..and then…some more…
