Nobody's Opinion

Nobody’s Email: Obama…Delay, and then Delay some more

Nobody Gets Email:

Obama has done this several times: Delay laws that are going to make him look bad.  After Obamacare was passed, he kept delaying it because he really didn’t want anybody to know until AFTER he was out of office–and here’s another example….What’s coming up AFTER the November Elections. angry bird

Did you receive your Medicare Handbook for 2015 yesterday? If you have already received yours in the mail please turn to page 12 and go down to the bottom of the page and read Find out what you pay for Medicare (Part A and Part B) . It states that the premium and deducible amounts were not available at the time of printing. It further states you may call 1-800-633-4227 to get the most up-to-date info.

I did just that and talked with a Medicare representative. She told me that they probably would not have those figures in until the end of the first week or possibly the second week of November.

Now, let that sink in!

As soon as she stated that to me I replied, “My, isn’t that convenient for the Obama Administration to actually hold off on those figures until after the 2014 election results.”

There was dead silence on the other end of the line. I told her thank you and that I would call back.

You see on our Social Security increase for next year we are only receiving an increase of around 1%. Even the military are getting just over 1%. You can bet after the November 4th election the increases for Medicare A & B will be greater than any 1%. That is why they are delaying what the increases will be. Because if they had put it in that handbook, any elderly would be voting against the Democrats.

So anyone voting for the Democrats in the forthcoming elections deserves to get the increases that are coming after November 4th.

  2. I’m not sure that your source is correct. According to this press release from October 9th,,

“Secretary of Health and Human Services Sylvia Burwell announced today that next year’s standard Medicare Part B monthly premium and deductible will remain the same as the last two years. Medicare Part B covers physicians’ services, outpatient hospital services, certain home health services, durable medical equipment, and other items. For the approximately 49 million Americans enrolled in Medicare Part B, premiums and deductibles will remain unchanged in 2015 at $104.90 and $147, respectively. This leaves more of seniors’ cost of living adjustment from Social Security in their pockets.”

HHS wouldn’t lie to us, would they? /sarc

    • Mmmmmmm Who DO we believe? I have NO idea snopercod. I just reprint the emails. And more than once emails have turned out to be wrong. So, at least YOU looked into it, but I don’t know if I would believe HHS either. I’m not in Medicare or Medicaid. I do remember reading a lot of Obamacare changes didn’t hit the fan until 2017, AFTER the Presidential election.
