The True Love of Rio and Lima
Nobody Cares
Last week, one day AFTER the loss of my dear pup Zippy, my parakeet Rio died. I have six parakeets. Three pairs of love birds. Corona and Sugar. Wikky and Cassie Manie, and Rio—Rio was Lima’s love. Light green. Demure, almost Arabian. Quiet and completely submissive to her mate. Her spot to sit was in the middle of the big cage, and she only moved from that spot to eat.
Believe it or not, watching her die was worse than watching our pup, who died a peaceful death of no pain. I really suffered the loss of our pup, but…a bird may seem meaningless, but no. Birds are very intelligent. They can’t bark and lick you. Instead, they CAN sing and love. Songbird chatter is the most soothing thing to listen too, especially when you listen to all the political news every day as I do.
It brings me back to God. Funny, but it does.
So, tonight, to get away from my usual political ranting, I want to write about the vast love affair Rio shared with her mate, Lima.
THE LOVE AFFAIR OF RIO AND LIMA
It was love at first sight for Lima. When he saw RIO, the first day I brought her home, he couldn’t stand to be more than a few pecks away from her. He would RUN to her, peck her, feed her, kiss her head, show off his grand feathers, and she would just…sit there, and enjoy every minute. When the other males came around, Lima fought, lost, and usually I had to pull them apart, fingers bitten, and dislodge them, but Lima never had to worry because Rio would have none of them. She was, in the words of Olivia Newton John, hopelessly devoted to Lima.
First thing in the morning, he would mount her, his beautiful wings always embracing her gently. She always looked like a small angel underneath his embrace. Despite the six years that she lived; she never laid an egg.
Then about a month ago, she got sick. I took her to the local vet who said she was a boy. “No, she can’t be.” I spoke. And then he felt her and said, “but she must be a girl because she has female organs.”
Ooooookaaaaay. He’s not the brightest bird doctor on the block. He gave us some meds, and they NEVER worked. She stopped drinking water. So, every night, for a month, we’d try to catch her, which stressed her out. She was puffed up and stayed on the perch next to Rio. Even though we hated to bother her, we had to catch her to put some eyedrops of water into her mouth. I tried everything: water, honey, salt, Pedialyte, antibiotics— nothing worked.
Still, because of her deep love for Rio, she bravely fought every single minute to stay alive.
Here’s the thing about parakeets, and probably all animals. When one of the members of the “herd” becomes weak, the other birds attack it. (It also happens in nations, but I digress.)
In fact, I witnessed one of my former parakeets killed when it got sick by the other birds in the cage. So, Rio KNEW she had to stay on that high perch next to Rio, no matter how sick she was. It was killing me just to watch her struggle.
One night, while pulling her out of the cage, she broke her leg. She of course fought being caught.
The doc said she didn’t break it, but she couldn’t use it after that. STILL, she stood on her other leg for another three weeks and limped around the cage. Flying every night back up to be with her Rio. Putting on a show, pretending she was okay.
Then the morning after Zippy died, I heard the flapping in the cage. I ran into the room where the birds were. There was Rio on the bottom, and I knew instantly that one of the other males had attacked her. She was weak, injured, and so I quickly got a smaller cage to separated her from the other four. I put Rio in the smaller cage with her. She was so weak that she went into the feeding bowl and laid down. (see picture) Lima stood next to her, and she seemed to go to her maker. At last! Sweet sleep. She was so tired from fighting for her life for over a month, that I was happy, almost hoping she would just go to her maker.
Funny, I remember feeling the same way the day my father died. He had suffered for so long, that when the cops finally came and tried to resuscitate him, my mother and I kept saying…Please…just stop. He’s been through so much, and to tell you the truth, so had we. His brain tumor had brown bigger than three oranges and we were told it would finally put pressure on the back of his brain where he breathes.
We had been watching for weeks for his end. But he had…a very strong heart. God took him. Let him go.
Now at this point you might want to know WHY I didn’t separate the two birds before this? I tried to put Rio in a cage all by herself to get better. But get this: Even though they were five rooms between them, they would SING at the top of their voices in despair. “COME BACK! COME BACK!” It drove me nuts.
I finally gave in.
I decided if Rio was to die, she would die next to her love, and her other friends. I gave up on that idea.
As I have seen too many times, when letting go of life, some humans, or animals will FIGHT. Rio, did not want to die in front of Lima that morning. She came over to the end of the cage and put her beak completely out, almost calling me to take her away. Begging. Begging me. So, I gently wrapped her up in a soft cloth and put her on my chest to die in peace. Most of my birds have died that way.
But not Rio. She was Lima’s love.
When I took her out of the cage, Lima went nuts. He wanted to be with his love. And then Rio wanted to get down on the ground, so I gently put her down, and THEN she went hopping around trying to find a dark place to hide. To die. A cripple. Hopping, getting her wings stuck, trying desperately to hide.
Zippy did the same thing. It’s instinct with animals. Somehow, she got behind an old book on the floor, and Lima was going so crazy I decided “Well heck, I can’t have HIM suffering…” So, I picked her up and put her back in the cage with him.
She couldn’t stand. She was bleeding from her other foot now. Blood everywhere. I got some meds to stop the bleeding, but it was too bad. She had somehow ripped her toe out.
She must have been in excruciating pain.
Rio stopped making noise. He could see her. She was there right below him. He was…helpless.
She went to the bottom of the cage. What could I do? What to do? What to do? It was her time.
I sat in that room for another four hours. She was still alive but laying peacefully.
I finally left and went to lie down from MY stress.
When I came back 5 minutes later, she had died. My husband came and wrapped her up in a soft cloth.
More sorrow. More tears.
So be it.
Right now, I’m listening to the songfest of my buggies in the kitchen. I don’t know how many days past have, I’m not keeping count.
I went out and bought another ‘green’ female for Lima, but he hasn’t taken to her yet. She’s still a baby. There is hope. I couldn’t stand to see him sitting alone, lost on his perch while the other two couples go on with their loves. He seems, a bit better.
Nobody should be alone in this life. Especially at the time of death.
I read tonight that Madeline Albright died, with her friends and family all around, and it made me angry. When I think of what Fauci and our politicians did to so many families, for TWO WHOLE YEARS: NOT being allowed to be in the room with their sick and dying parents, or loved ones, BECAUSE IT WAS NOT ALLOWED.
Excuse my saying this but”: BASTARDS.
I was able to be there for my pets, but what about all the MILLIONS of people that could not touch the hand, or kiss, or cry, or thank their loved ones at their time of death? They had to die alone.
How CRUEL. How utterly cruel. So, excuse me if I don’t rejoice that Albright got to be with her loved ones. Damn Fauci. I wonder just how many people suffered from that cruel and unnecessary tyrannical mandate. Be sure, you won’t hear anyone on the news complain about it.
But—on a good note: Rio and Lima were the Romeo and Juliet of birds. The love they had for each other one can only hope for in our own lives. Better than any Jack and Diana, Richard and Liz, John and Yoko, Reagan, and Nancy.
Lima and Rio. True love existing in little, tiny beating hearts.
And yet, how many movies do you see about true love?
Not many. Not near enough. And I bet I’m the first one to write about the love between two simple little parakeets.

Nobody Wonders About Obama’s Sister Act

While watching the cross examination of Ketanji Brown to the Supreme Court today, she reminds me of Obama. Well spoken, and good at telling lies—and word salad. She said in her judgements of the past, giving all those men who were abusing kids, she said many were just looking at pictures, which is their right. So, she took away their right to LOOK at those video’s.
Everybody is treating her with kid gloves. She made an emotional plea about how horrible child abuse is, making the conservatives go— “Oh! So, she really DOES think there is damage done to children with sex abuse! That’s not what her PARTY thinks who want all kids from kindergarten on up to learn about all forms of sex, including gays.” She is trying very hard to do the “If you like your doctor, you can KEEP your doctor.” Straight faced lie that Obama had down pat, but everybody knows, ALL democrats, and RINOS now lie and once in power, are tyrants. Once on board, they are NEVER held accountable and can change their positions at any time.
Nobody Wonders how much of an Obama surrogate she is, and whether a few republican voicing concerns will even matter. It seems the votes against ANY liberal ‘take down America’ policy is even considered by them; they have all been such wimps.
Nobody Wonders if Texas is being destroyed by weather wars, drug cartels, massive illegal takeover, and RINO politicians joined at the hip to the Bush dynasty. The fact that 3 of our top fertilizer companies had massive fires, and fires and storms continue to destroy as much as the devastation we are seeing in Ukraine, does make me wonder if this is all part of Biden’s NEW WORLD ORDER. Destroy the top population voting states, Turn Texas blue. And weather and fires really help the NEW WORLD ORDER of really putting the strain on all lives in the world. Hey, it worked with Lenin…Stalin. Right?

Are they getting bad reports about the words GREAT RESET?) and explained it that every few years, millions of people die, and the economies have to reset. It’s such a natural thing, like I suppose, the moon tides. What I got from it was “Hey, LOTS of people are going to die and it’s not going to be OUR fault. Shit happens!”
Nobody Wonders: I was watching the Supreme Court examinations today when my electric went out. I called the company and was surprised to hear how up-to-date they were on the situation.
“We see over 2,000 houses are out. And we don’t know why. Would you like to receive a text report on future outages?”
“SURE!” Well, that was great news.
And then I checked my phone. For that service I would be charged. Gee, they didn’t mention that did they?
Nobody Wonders: How many people FELL for this scam? Who knows, but the American people are certainly going to be forced into many such scams in the future.

Nobody’s Fool: Victor Davis Hanson
It wasn’t too long ago, I was seriously wondering if I should consider moving from the house that I love, and put in so much hard work and money to maintain. Throughout my life, slowly and with every new President, I notice that the area in where I could travel freely, was becoming smaller and smaller.
All throughout my life, I went downtown St. Louis, and enjoyed the shopping, the history, the many shops and attractions, but now, you risk your life or your car being stolen. ALL the shops are gone, and downtown St. Louis is dead. You even risk danger just visiting the Arch.
Each President had a hand in my city’s destruction. All of them democrat. Cervantes was the last GOOD democratic mayor (He built the Arch) we had, but after that, it’s been decay. We have our first female black mayor, Tishaura O. Jones, and while pretty, she’s not much. Soros has pumped millions into this town.
Our decay was all due mostly to globalization, unions, and democratic policy of paying the blacks to stay home and have lots of babies, give them all jobs in the government where they could hand out the welfare, but kept the jobs going overseas and the drugs pouring in. It was a sure vote as LBJ planned, and it payed off: For them.
Globalization destroyed ALL our major companies in St. Louis, and sent them to China.
Most democratic cities all share the same fate.
I live in the North Suburbs of St. Louis, I always went into the other suburbs, to shop, to visit. I spent a lot of money in Ferguson. Then it burned down thanks to Obama’s race war. Now, you take your life in your hands even getting on the highway that goes into Fergusion.
I recently had a fight with a friend, who wanted to take a certain dangerous highway to visit Rush Limbaugh’s grave, which is not far from Ferguson. He was just passing through. My ancestors are also buried in that graveyard, and I told him it was a danger for anyone to travel the route he wanted to take, because almost every other day, someone is SHOT and killed in their car on those roads. He had a GPS map, and told me I was wrong. GPS assured him, it was safe.
Machines VS experince? You judge. He risked the GPS and probably was okay, he took the risk. He beleived his machine over someone who had lived here all her life. After all, compared to a GPS I’m just a Nobody.
That explains pretty much right there.
So yes, now, I have to go EAST to shop mostly, because my own neighborhood is dangerous.
And then, one day, I watched a video by Hanson who was having the same problem in HIS neighborhood. And he felt the same way I did: His neighborhood was crumbling all around him, but he asked….Why should HE have to leave? He loves his home, and he’s not leaving.
Do you fight for your property your rights? Or do you just give into the politicians and the decay?
Globalism is destroying the world, and as Hanson points out in this video, it never ends well. And history supports that.

Nobody Wonders: Elizabeth Holmes–Connected to the Virus?

There were just too many democratic scum-ball pukes in this Hollywood narrative. I watched “The Rise and Con of Elizabeth Holmes” on ABC for a second time, just to reaffirm my conviction: This was another democratic coverup of a great deep state crime. And they ALWAYS get those criminals off. For instance: Jesse Solet, the black man who organized a fake Trump attack, was hobnobbing with Michelle and Barack Obama right after the event. Taxpayers forked out MILLIONS looking for the Trump criminals for his fake acting and plea. Why not? Better to arrest a Trump supporter than spend that money on fixing the crime rate in Chicago.
Jesse was found guilty and now walks free on bond. Maybe that’s because he kept shouting that “I will NOT kill myself in prison!” No Jesse. You will just get hit by a car or commit suicide.
Another example: Jeffery Epstein was killed…just another death among the many numerous ‘accidents’ done by the Clintons with people that knew them. For all we know, Epstein might still be alive. One thing we DO know is that all the top leaders of the world that flew to Jeffery’s whore houses will never be convicted.
Buttloads of our very top politicians and leaders of the FBI, CIA, Justice Department, and former Presidents Obama, and Hillary, were caught rigging a Presidential election. Along with the help of America’s top tech company CEO’s. NONE of them will go prison. And that’s probably the least of their crimes if we knew. ABC is already doing another movie to talk about how the PEE tape is real.
Give me a break.
SO…knowing all this, let me go into detail about the life and cons of Elizabeth Holmes…or should I say, the cons of the democratic/RINO deep state.
In case you did not follow this story, Elizabeth Holmes, was the ‘inventor’ of a machine that could take ONE drop of your blood and do hundreds of tests to tell your health status. Cool idea. But, as a person who went through the patent process all by myself without a lawyer, I can tell you, just having an idea does NOT make you a billionaire. You have prove it works. Get backers.
All Elizabeth had, was an idea, that’s it.
What she did have, was a lot of coaching on how to con a nation. She had a lot of help. She was on just about every magazine cover in the world as the NEW woman billionaire. It’s the YEAR of the Woman!
And she dressed like Steve Jobs! Wow. She talks low! Wow. She’s beautiful too! Wow.
Now, somehow Elizabeth sold that idea to every RINO and GOP military big wig money in the country, who gave her millions, and lost all of it. They were all on her board of directors, and they all invested heavily. Very few democrats were on that board. What we do see is a lot of the deep state players, Kissinger being the most important…with China.

Hillary Clinton looked like a dumbbell next to Elizabeth. But Hillary the second she was. Hillary would spit out “I DON’T KNOW” when on the witness stand. When Elizabeth said it, it was as if she was asking if she could do whatever you wanted with her.
BIG difference.
Elizabeth’s great invention, “The Edison” did not work. No, it didn’t work, but what it did to was collect LOTS of blood from probably millions of people. So, what you may ask?
My Nobody Opinion? This was a way for China and the Deep State to collect blood samples from millions of Americans, so that the bio-weapon labs all over the world could design the virus to kill certain people or blood types.
That’s a fact that they can do this. Robert Malone, has even said it’s possible, and probably even being done.
But why Joyanna would the Defense Department want this knowledge?
Ask yourself. Who seems to run our Defense Department? And who is dismantling it piece by piece?

You will have to watch the ABC series to see why…but today, I’m going to explain WHY I think this is just a con to COVER UP who was really behind Elizabeth Holmes. They want you to think it was her con all along…don’t be stupid.
- Elizabeth Holmes’s father was VP of Enron. He was convicted on Fraud. She was well connected and very rich, and very much a part of the deep state.
- Whenever she was on the stand, she did the typical Hillary response; Blamed EVERYONE else, said “I don’t know” about 660 times, and claimed she was sexually abused, by the man she met in China, who came in to take control of the company when the workers were starting to ask questions about WHY the machine didn’t work.
- You can tell she’s been coached. By the lifting of her eyebrows, by her repeated sentences, by the copying of Steve Jobs, they SOLD her as the female Steve Jobs, and this famous quote when she was caught:
“This is what happens when you work to change things, first they think you’re crazy, then they fight you, and then all of a sudden you change the world.”
(They work hard on this stuff.)
In fact, I agree with her old professor from Stanford, she couldn’t believe that after having only two semesters of chemical studies that Elizabeth could start a billion-dollar company. And that the machine would even work. It didn’t. She just collected the blood and sent it out to other companies to get analysis.
A lot of patients were hurt by the scam. Of course, they received nothing either.
Elizabeth might be able to speak Chinese, but get 99 patents? Uh…I don’t think so. She was too busy posing for her next magazine cover photo shoot. She couldn’t even figure out how to press the button on her machine.
No, the deep state used her, just like they used Joe Biden, for a purpose. And that purpose had to do with the virus, and China. Too many things point to it. Maybe some reporter out there like Peter Schweizer or Robert Malone, or even the writer who exposed her (Watch the documentary) can figure it out.

Nobody Flashes: Maxwell’s Opinion on Religion
When Sunday comes, I try to explore various religious themes. After all, Chrisitianity and it’s teaching are being purposely decimated all over the world. And Western Civilization was built on it’s teachings.
So, that’s why.
But THIS guy, well, he had some thoughts on various religious themes, not mine, but interesting.

The Future of Electric?
Nobody Knows
“I don’t know why they sent me here.” said the electrician. “I usually ONLY work on the big companies. This is sort of nice. Hey, what’s on the barbeque?”
It was late afternoon on a Tuesday night, and my husband and I had been waiting outside for the electrician to put on our new analog electric meter. We had been pestered for MONTHS by our electric company, that we HAD to get the new smart meter put on and right away. Ameren has gone full blown solar and wind climate change…and they are our only resource. I had turned away five company men so far, and finally sent them a registered letter saying I did NOT want one.
I wrote about this before. I had done my research. The NEW meters could be controlled from the outside, and my fear, with the way things were going, was that they would be able to shut off our electric anytime they wanted to. Not only that, but control WHAT we use and how MUCH we use from just deciding with the new global boots coming down us all soon, but…well, let’s just say, if you pay your bill, the consumer should decide what they can afford. With the new meters? They can control it from the outside truck, in a second.
“If you don’t let us put on the meter, it will cost you $40.00 a month more, and $100.00 fine, excuse me …’fee’. That’s all the women on the phone kept threatening me with.
What do these meters do? Send out an extraordinarily strong signal that can make you sick, just like 5G. AND…that meter will be able to see just how much electric you use on every single electrical product in your house.
“You need to raise your air conditioning sir, to a more equitable level.”
I can see that happening.
Because we have a locked yard, and no trespassing signs, all the other neighbors TRUST their electric company and don’t even care. They’ve all got the smart meters on.
And at first, they won’t notice a thing. But that’s how they “PUSH” you into tyranny.
The guy was nice, and even showed us that the meter WAS NOT a smart meter. And we got to talking about electric cars.
“Won’t they be able to see, since they are pushing electric cars on us all, just how much you used to charge your car and how much driving you are doing and charge you MORE for that?” I asked.
The electrician smiled. “What people don’t realize is that most houses’ electrical systems will have to be upgraded to even be able to get any kind of decent charge. With the average plug, you might have to wait days before you get a decent charge. Not only that, but every time you plug in the car, your battery loses juice. You might THINK you are getting a 300-battery life, but after the first time you plug in that battery life goes down to 286, then the next time, lower, and the next time, lower, and soon, you will have to replace that battery. And they aren’t cheap.”
“Right. So how much will it cost? Say, over $10,000 to replace your electrical house grid, and $5,000 to replace your battery, not to mention, in California they are asking people NOT to plug in their electric cars due to the grid overload. Right. Long ago, Tom Edison and his neighbor Henry Ford worked on a car battery for two whole years and gave it up because they decided it was a stupid idea.” I said. But, who were those guys? They were Individual inventors. The breed they want to demolish.
And as you all know, that’s only the beginning of the cost, the cars themselves cannot be afforded by most Americans. AND the fact that you will have to WAIT for an hour before you can go to your next charging station.
Who benefits from this absurdity? THE RICH ELITES. LIKE JOHN KERRY. AND CHINA.
People won’t be able to get in their cars and come after them, once they figure out how they are being controlled and ripped off. Trust me, the elites are VERY scared of this.
While I felt better after he left, I also know, when you have a monopoly on electric, they can do whatever they want. So, I’ll pay more for my electric, (which is a scam) and extortion, but I know, in the future, I might just be powerless to do much of anything. Unless of course, there is major push back.
By the way, I wrote my Attorney General who is all over the news as being a great defender of liberty.
I have recieved…no answer.

He just sent BILLIONS to Ukraine—so what? Is there IRISH in Ukraine? And what is it with the Irish? Hillary was honorerd there too, and they treat her like a royal princess.

While Xi’s plan to take over the world in one long silk-happy- Chinese-suicide road, Putin would not hesitate to use nuclear weapons and just take the short cut. Putin knows we cannot stop the hit. Bill O’Reilly disagrees, but I’ve seen a lot of reports that says we can’t stop his newest missiles.
Then again: He MAY be bluffing.
Does he REALLY want to be China’s puppet? Does he really want to help out China? Does Putin trust China? While China is using Russia to get America into a war, Russia is now using China to scare the rest of the world into his submission.
They seem to be working together, and yes, this would NOT have happened if Trump was President.
Unlike the cold war, our idiotic politicians have done treaties thinking Russia would stop building up their nukes. Hillary even gave them our uranium. We still have the insidious U.N. in our country, sucking us dry.
But too many of our Congress are begging to get into it with Putin. When it comes to OUR ruling class, it’s all about the money. Mitt, Liz, working hard for the money. GET THAT WAR GOING.
Would Putin use nuclear weapons to destroy Ukraine? Why do that? It’s a great food resource and why do that? No, he would nuke some other thing that would bring the U.S. into a war. Maybe Poland. Maybe Chicago. Nobody Knows. Maybe Hunter Biden’s vacation houses, nobody knows. But make no mistake, he will nuke SOMETHING. It may not be the biggest, but it WILL kill many people.
Would Biden then destroy Russia? Uh…after he eats his ice cream…maybe. But I doubt it.
Whatever happens, John Kerry is NOT going to worry about the birds being incinerated.
Now, if nuclear war comes, we will all surely know WHY Hollywood made all those “END OF THE WORLD AS WE KNOW IT.” Movies. One after another. Go on Netflix and pick your favorite end times movie. There are HUNDREDS of them. Like…don’t you people get it yet? YOU ARE ALL GOING TO DIE!

I really love listening to whatever this man says. Here he points out what is obvious, and yet, our Congress supports the insanity of destroying the country with illegals. What bothers me is that they GIVE these people credit cards, homes, jobs, and I see more and more of them at my local Wal-Marts almost demanding the poor working people there to fulfill their every wish.

Wow. Why get up in the morning? Does the news ever get any better?
FIRST: China releases a bio-weapon, built with the help of our every own highly paid NAZI World Criminal…Heir Fauci. MILLIONS of the old, die.
Then, mandatory masks are imposed on the world. THEN solitary confinement. THEN mandatory vaccines with the choice of GET the vaccine or lose your job and starve. Millions died from the vaccines. Millions lose their jobs, their lives.
This Wuhan Virus allowed China to take over Hong Kong…without a fight.
President Trump was basically kicked out of office by his own cabinet, illegally, and with full lies and cooperation from most of the people in D.C. Our FBI, Justice Department, and CIA fully on board with the coup. Obama, Hillary, and half of Congress and the RINOS pushing him out.
He left quietly.
The people of the world were…silenced…the election stolen, and protests not allowed. Hundreds thrown in jail for just showing up to wave an American flag.
Mass invasions of refugees from every nation were allowed to invade the West bringing drugs and disease to spread among the population. Mass printing of the Federal Reserve broke the world’s economic future and put it in the hands of the very few elite and wealthy at the top.
Australia’s democracy, was crashed. Its people enslaved. Europe overrun by Muslims, so much that Muhammed became the most named baby.
Then Canada. Stomped on by the dictator— Castro’s boy, Trudeau.
The real target is the U.S. and just about every small business was destroyed by our own leaders. Our schools decimated with the culture of stupid. Severe damage done already to the children.
And like magic, the Deep State and XI, have started a war in the Ukraine. Putin goes to China, and China—ordered Putin to go ahead and take Ukraine. (With Klaus’s approval) China could finally take Taiwan.
A brain dead and basically horrible human being was put in as President to carry out his former master’s orders to downsize the United States into a country that COULD not win, if invaded, or protect itself.
Drugs continue to pour in. China calls all the shots. Our major American companies now bow to China.
Most Americans feel that they will rise up again and things will go back to normal. BUT…they have flooded the country with illegals, and pitted blacks against whites, liberals against conservatives, and they control the airways, the internet, and our schools.
Looks pretty bleak. They control just about everything but our minds.
Klaus tells us what’s coming to us all. WWIII? Maybe. Most of Western world is pushing for it, because they are seeing wall to wall coverage of the poor people of the Ukraine…crying. The psychological warfare on the world has been tuned to a fine Hollywood script, deserving of an Oscar.

To Touch the Divine
I need some help here.
Yesterday, I went over to my neighbor’s house to tell her why I had not answered her knocking on my door the last few days.
“We lost our dog, we are just very sad. I was in bed when you came, but, I just didn’t want to sit around and talk.” I’m so sorry I didn’t answer the door.” I felt bad about it, because I really needed a shoulder, a friend, but I hardly know my neighbor and every time we have talked, it was about how I was…a sinner. I knew I couldn’t cope with her long suffering tries at trying to save me…
By the way, she knows nothing about me at all.
It seems to be her mission. Frankly, I’m getting a bit tired of being lectured to every time I see her.
You see, she and her husband run a small ‘church’ in a strip mall. A lot of those going up around the area. I haven’t been to a church in years, but that doesn’t mean, I’m NOT religious. No, in fact, I feel very spiritual. I was raised a Methodist, and someday I’ll write about my thoughts on the various religions and churches, and such, but let’s just say, I’ve read the Bible Three times all the way through, and I believe everyone, gets different comfort from that read, and can read it forever, and it brings hope, comfort, insight, isn’t that what it was meant to do?
It’s a GREAT book. Filled with wisdom. Like capitalism, Christianity is the best religion on the planet. She knows that how I feel, but it’s not enough for her.
She invited me in, and we made small talk for a few minutes. Then I saw her reach for her bible.
We got into the same arguments. Jesus died for my sins, and… Christ IS The lord, (I say he’s the son of God) She says he IS GOD. It’s semantics and it’s really silly to me.
We really get into that one, she thinks I’m just an idiot. BUT…I guess I was tired and had honestly come to get to know her better, ask her about her life, and all…but she always goes to trying to ‘save’ me.
(I don’t think that’s possible, and I tell her that if the whole world are sinners, she certainly is wasting her time on me.)
But then, she opened her Bible. And read to me. It was already marked.
I listened. And then the argument came. She said that ALL babies are born sinners.
Sorry. I don’t buy that. I don’t care if the Bible says so, an innocent baby just born, is NOT a sinner.
“But the baby is. Because that baby doesn’t know right from wrong.” She keeps on with this argument.
Now if she had said, the baby is born without knowledge of right and wrong, I could accept that. But that’s not what she claims SHE claims that the baby IS a sinner. Born that way. Doomed to hell from the start.
She also told me to kill every mouse that I caught in my house. They were horrible creatures.
I didn’t kill them. I took them to a nice wood to live another day. Sorry…
Aren’t religious people supposed to be compassionate? Wasn’t Jesus compassionate?
What am I missing here?
My husband called, I told her I had to go. She smiled very condescendingly and said, “I still like you!” as I walked out almost fuming back to my house.
“I JUST lost my dog…and no, you do NOT like me. “
When I got home, my anger surprised me. But then again, I don’t care. A baby in the womb, or born, is NOT a sinner. It’s my opinion and I’m sticking to it.
And you know what? I don’t think Jesus would think that either.
What do my readers say? IS a baby born a sinner? Mmmmmm…..
