Nobody Knows

Warning: Not a cheery post, if you suffer from any kind of mental stress, I’d advise you to skip it. I really wrote this for myself—

How very weary I am of the daily bombardment of bad news. For instance, the headlines on The Drudge Report alone tonight is enough to make a good day like today, into a “Let’s just go find some woods and look at bugs the rest of our lives.” mentality.

For instance:

John Hart was an ancestor of mine, who built his house on the FORD of a river, and according to Hartford, CT history, everyone would always say “Go down to John’s Hart farm, and make a left” and that merged into, just to down to Hart’s farm, which became Hart’s forge, and finally….Hartford.

John Hart would NOT like blimps floating over his farm one damn bit. Freedom…where did you go?

Well yes, and WHY is this just coming out now? And how can she get by with saying they were broke when they came out of the White House? And how many years of our lives do we have to continue to see those two criminals running and ruining the whole world? I am so sick of the Clintons I could gag.

To those of us who watch the news, this is sort of the usual. Obama is trying to come up with something to boost his “foreign” policy stats, which right now, as Iraq is being taken over by Al-Qaeda, and hundreds are being slaughtered, is a joke. Oh…the guy is getting a civilian trial—Obama’s PERSONAL touch of decency, which is just another slap in the face of all Americans.

Gee, another nuclear submarine in Putin’s blunt sword, while Obama continues to disarm us. That would explain Obama spending all his last minutes on the golf course.

Nobody in the US wants all these illegal’s flooding our borders. And they know it, and so, just don’t enforce the laws and they won’t have to pass a thing. We are feeding them all, in the meantime…It’s okay because they are OUR future. The politicians have already decided it.

It’s all about the numbers, and their money.

 And so..tonight as I walked the mall, even the food court had only a Pizza place left that didn’t die. The whole mall was…empty. I give the whole mall less than six months.

 Okay, enough.

You know what I did today? I took a turtle that was right outside my house into a park so that he could be with other turtles. And the first park I went to, just didn’t feel right. It was 95 humid degrees out, and my husband thought I was nuts, but “It’s my birthday” I said, “and we are going to put this turtle in a nice place, so he (or she) can live the rest of its’ life, away from people, and have little turtles, and turtles will be here long after we are all gone.”  And so, we went to another park, and walked another mile or so, and through the thicket..searching…for the right spot.

I will miss him, but he belongs with his own kind.

Sadly…it’s funny. You can’t control the tyrants in the world, who destroy lives without even blinking, rationalizing that it’s all for the best, and I’m having trouble watching my family suffer, my country suffer, while a handful of greedy tyrants destroy the world.

Destroy America: You destroy the rest. And all we get to do is read depressing headlines. Unless we unite, we are all doomed to just sit by and watch, and I feel so helpless tonight.

Everything is just wrong. And I can’t do a thing. Very few of us can.

But what I can do…is bring happiness to one little turtle. As pathetic as that sounds, in the universe of my own hopelessness…it worked.
