Nobody's Opinion

It’s a Beautiful Day in my Neighborhood…For Looting

Nobody Wins…

It’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood, it’s a beautiful day for a neighbor…would you be mine? Could you be mine?

Welcome to my neighborhood!

Today on all the local radio stations here in St. Louis, they were asking the people to see if they recognize anybody in this video from November last year….this was taken after Michael Brown’s ‘verdict.’

Ha ha ha ha ha….right.

In a bid to identify more than 180 looters, police today released surveillance video from inside a Ferguson, Missouri food market that was ransacked following the November 24 announcement that a grand jury had declined to vote indictments in the Michael Brown case.

Mostly they were stealing junk food. Notice they didn’t touch the bread.

Think they waited long enough to release THIS video?

Not ONCE has Obama said anything about the hundreds of blacks looting stores throughout the country…he just blames the rich. In other words, he endorses it, and they all know it.

Nevertheless…the remaining people in the neighborhood, remain..optimistic! (Or stupid, depending on how you look at it.)

Take it away Mr. Rogers!

Nobody Notes: I couldn’t find Eddie Murphy’s rendition on Youtube anywhere, but you can catch some of them here.

  1. Some ups and downs with the looter video. First, one is not impressed with time taken to get in. All that wrestling with the door, the jemmying failure etc (did they never watch the TV cop shows? A single bullet would have bust the lock, Shirley?) only to accidentally find an easier access through the window. DUH !! Not even shopping trolley battering ram. Idle bastards. No wonder no-one is stepping up to identify anyone. They would not get very far on a game show. I didn’t see any thanks given to the window-spotter either. But…. one has to be impressed by the orderly manner of streaming in, the queue to get out, the deferring to exiting ‘customers’ by those waiting to get in and of course the restraint by most who did not make last moment impulse steals as they approached the window on the way out. OK, one or two could nor resist. Sartorially I have to give them a 2 out of ten for conformity. The girl with the long hair gets the prize.
