I’m pretty under the weather tonight…got a bad cold, and can’t seen to shake it. So, I’m just flashing this wonderful song, written by one of the most underrated musicians ever to perform. Leon Russell passed away just a few days ago.
What a man. What a musician. What a talent. His work with Joe Cocker was brilliant. And I’ve yet to see his work with Elton John, who gave him some much needed notoriety before he died.
I saw him perform once, and I will never forget the funk he got out of that piano, and the energy that blazed out of those eyes, (of which you can’t see here.)
Anyway, enjoy. I’m off to Walgreen to find something…anything….I might need dynamite. (HI NSA)
The post I was going to write I’m not feeling up to…so just a few thoughts instead.
George Bush was talking today in Dallas, about why we should keep our trade deals. He said that the U.S. market is only 5% of the world’s market. We should GET that. Why, we want to be able to sell our products to the whole world, he said. Our market is not that big anymore.
Explaining the elites globalists in one sentence.
That a boy George. Thanks for reminding us how we got so messed up.
George W……Masquerade….sort of fits. If there was one family that set up this globalization that has let the rich get richer, and the American citizen get poorer, it’s the Bush Family.
Consider who benefits:
From Dick Morris, Armageddon:
Under Bill Clinton 45% of all gains in personal income went to the top 1% of the country.
Under George W. Bush, 65% of the gain in income went to the top 1%.
Under Barack Obama 91% of the increase in earnings went to the top 1%.
I think now it’s up to 95%.
So, the Masquerade of globalization has been exposed. It’s still being sold as the only way to go, but it’s all smoke and mirrors.
Globalization is a program for the rich who are masquerading as saviors of the planet.
Okay…I should stop trying to write lame metaphors…I’m just going to listen to the song…one more time.
I am a nobody. If the different classes of America were color-coded, I would be in the yucky brown, one rung up from the bottom. I grew up in Naples, Florida and live near the Mississippi River now with my husband and two dogs. I am part of the slowly disappearing middle-class. I was a musician most of my life: drummer/singer/keyboards—but I retired before the plastic surgery flu hit. I have no degrees, which could be a good thing…depending on how you view our educational system. I do have three patents…but that really doesn’t make me a somebody. The one thing that is constant in my life is my OPINIONS, which i have more than perhaps even Carl Sagan could have imagined…mostly political. (yes…my ancestors were crabby buggers)
Hopefully other nobody’s will put their opinions on my site. But, if you happen to be a somebody, you’re more than welcomed to help out.
It’s my Nobody Opinion that Nobody’s Perfect, and Nobody Cares, that Nobody Knows why Nobody Wins, and when that happens, Nobody Wonders, why Nobody Flashes, why Nobody’s Fooled, but then Nobody remembers that Nobody ALWAYS Reports the truth.
