Elihu Root was the Secretary of War (1899-1903) under McKinley and Theodore Roosevelt and Secretary of State(1905-1909) under Roosevelt. After that he became a Senator from New York (1909-15) and received the Nobel Peace Prize. At the Constitutional Convention of the State of New York, on August 30, 1915, he had a lot to say about the evils of the “invisible government” that he said had run New York for many years. He said that the government was not elected but was responsible only to the party boss in control of the state. He wanted to change the system that he viewed as corrupt.
Here’s a few excerpts from his speech:
What is the government of this state? What has it been doing during the forty years of my acquaintance with it? The government of the constitution? Oh, no: not half the time or halfway. For I don’t remember how many years, Mr. Conkling was the supreme ruler in the state: the governor did not count, the legislature did not count, comptroller’s and secretaries of state and whatnot did not count. It was what Mr. Conkling said, and in a great outburst of public rage he was pulled down.
Then Mr. Platt ruled the state: for nigh twenty years.
The party leader is elected by no one, accountable to no one, bound by no oath of office, removable by no one. I don’t criticize the men of the invisible government. How can I? I have known them all, and among them have been some of my dearest friends. But it is all wrong. It is all wrong that a government not authorized by the people should be continued superior to the government that is authorized by the people.
How it is accomplished? Mr. Chairmen it is done by patronage. The elected officer or the appointed officer, who is to be held responsible for the administration of his office desired to get men into the different positions of his office who will do the work in a way that is creditable to him and his administration. Whether it be a president appointing a judge, or a governor appointing a superintendent of public works, whatever it may be.
How is it about the boss? He has to urge the appointment of men whose appointment will consolidate his power and preserve the organization. The invisible government proceeds to build up and maintain it power by a reversal of the fundamental principle of good government, which is that men should be selected to perform the duties of the office,
The true one, looks upon appointment to office with a view to the service that can be given to the public. The other the false one, looks upon appointment to office with a view to what can be gotten out of it. A great number of men are put on the payrolls as a matter of patronage not of service, but of party patronage.

Both parties are alike, all parties are alike. The system extends thorough all.
At the end of his speech this:
I have been told forty times since this Convention met that you cannot change it. We can try, can’t we? I deny that we cannot change it. I repel that cynical assumption which is born of the lethargy that comes from poisoned air during all these years. I assert that this perversion of democracy, this robbing democracy of its virility can be changed.
We can take this one step toward, not robbing the people of their part in government but toward robbing an irresponsible autocracy of its indefensible and unjust and undemocratic control of government, and return it to the people to be exercised by the men of their choice and their control. We cannot change it in a moment but we can do our share.
When I read it, I thought of the Bushes, the Clinton’s, Reid and Boehner…because as I have said, it’s the leaders of both houses that control everything. And the best man at stacking the deck against the common man with his invisible government is our current ‘President’, Barack Obama.
And here, way back in 1915, Elihu Root, wanted to do something to break the monopoly of the ‘invisible government.”
Nobody Thinks Mr. Root was right, and yet…things remain the same these 99 years later.

Just last week, Justice Scalia reminded Americans that if they thought that America would never see the day, when our own government would gather people up and put them in FEMA camps–that day would never come. We should think again…it could happen.
The very fact that Obama is staffing every government department with bullets should make us think, what are THEY expecting?
This women, who has no name, has spoken the best way she can…to tell the world, this is about freedom.
So, she wins the Nobody’s Fool award…because there, but for the grace of god, go we.

Last week, nobody made the point more succinctly than Charles Krauthammer on the fact that Obama has gone completely off the rails with executive actions. Despite this incredible fact, John Boehner stills has a suntan.
Krauthammer wins my Nobody’s Fool Award for the week…again.
And by the way, his book, “Things that Really Matter” is a great read. His knowledge of the Middle East and Israel was especially worth reading. (In the later chapters of his book.)

By now, you’d have to be a certified bonehead to trust your government. For instance, the fact that Obama didn’t even TALK about gun control during his State of the Union speech, has me worried. He only harped on it for three whole years. So why?
Well..it seems, very quietly, Obama has been arming every single government department under his executive reach. Even…the Post Office.

On Jan. 31, the USPS Supplies and Services Purchasing Office posted a notice on the Federal Business Opportunities website asking contractors to register with USPS as potential ammunition suppliers for a variety of cartridges
And it’s not just the Post Office. I don’t know about you, but the LAST people I would want to arm would be my local postman. I still don’t believe I need to ‘tip’ him at Christmas. And that’s not all….he can’t officially make his own army by going through Congress…so he is just going to arm everybody that works for him:
Since 2001, the U.S. Dept. of Education has been building a massive arsenal through purchases orchestrated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms.
Can you imagine Johnny’s 3rd grade teacher coming after you?
The Education Dept. has spent over $80,000 so far on Glock pistols and over $17,000 on Remington shotguns.
Back in July, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration also purchased 72,000 rounds of .40 Smith & Wesson, following a 2012 purchase for 46,000 rounds of .40 S&W jacketed hollow point by the National Weather Service.
Right. The weathermen need guns. What? Are they expecting to be attacked by the American citizens because it won’t stop snowing when we were PROMSIED global warming?
Including mass purchases by the Dept. of Homeland Security, non-military federal agencies combined have purchased an estimated amount of over two billion rounds of ammunition in the past two years.
Additionally, the U.S. Army bought almost 600,000 Soviet AK-47 magazines last fall, enough to hold nearly 18,000,000 rounds of 7.62x39mm ammo which is not standard-issue for either the U.S. military or even NATO.
I won’t even go into the fact that we have Chinese, Russians, and Iraq’s training right here on our own soil. And why did the Soviet’s get that contract? Do you smell a rat here?

And then, I read this: Justice Scalia is giving us all a heads’ up: He was commenting on the unlawful act committed by FDR, when he rounded up all Japanese and put them in barbed wired camps. He says this:
Well of course Korematsu was wrong. And I think we have repudiated in a later case. But you are kidding yourself if you think the same thing will not happen again,” Scalia told students and faculty during a lunchtime Q-and-A session.
“That’s what was going on – the panic about the war and the invasion of the Pacific and whatnot. That’s what happens. It was wrong, but I would not be surprised to see it happen again, in time of war. It’s no justification, but it is the reality,” he added, according to the Associated Press.
Nobody Wins, when a President arms every bozo in the government, and does it quietly, and without fanfare…and then invites the head of the Muslim Brotherhood to the White House.
Something tells me, it’s not the Muslim Brotherhood he’s worried about.

Obama has let it be known that HE…is going to borrow some money and pay government employees…more. (Congress will have NO say in this, he has a pen. ) 
He is going to raise the minimum raise, because even McDonald’s and Wal-Mart are having to fire employees. Disney is having to stoop so low as to ADVERTIZE!
This has to stop. Sure, the rich got richer under Obama because of Ben Bernanke and the quantitative easing.

Rand Paul has some ideas on how to stop the NSA from gathering everyone’s information. As far as I know, he’s leading this movement, and despite the vast propaganda on how much they need this power, I agree with Rand Paul. It’s overkill. There’s a better way, because as we saw with the IRS, any President can use it to his advantage.
It’s a fundamental right that we all deserve, and should fight for.

Although it’s not much, Obama has done one very good thing while in office: He has trashed the Constitution so much, that millions of people, who had never read the Constitution, actually started paying attention to our nation’s “rule of law’ and then exclaiming…”Whoa. He can’t do that.”
Yes he can, and yes he does. Coming up soon, Obama is about to unconstitutionally sign the next globalist wet dream: The Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership:
The measure would grant President Obama what is known as “fast track authority” to ram through Congress the Trans-Pacific Partnership with limited debate and no opportunity to propose amendments. The international trade agreement, negotiated largely in secret by the Obama administration, is regarded by globalist free traders as a cornerstone of the emerging “New World Order.” Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership, or TAP, to what is being developed as the Trans-Pacific Partnership, or TPP.
The little American nobody businessman is now simply an asterisk on the butt of a fly, sitting on a rock, at the bottom of the Grand Canyon.
As I was listening to Rush Limbaugh today, I must admit, I’m happy that he is siding with the people against the Rino’s in the Republican Party at last..because to not do so would be to admit that he does not side with the Constitution. BUT…Rush still thinks the Rino’s just want to stay in power and are silent because they want to be liked. Because Rush is rich himself, and has supported the big businesses of corporate America for so many years, he has trouble seeing the real problem—- Crony Capitalism —which is just another word for globalization. Mark Levine sees it. Rush hasn’t gotten there yet.

During a visit to Britain in 1763, Benjamin Franklin said this to the officials of the Bank of England:

We issue it in proper proportion to the demands of trade and industry to make the products pass easily from the producer to the consumers. In this manner, creating for ourselves our own paper money, we control its purchasing power, and we have no interest to pay to no one. The colonies would gladly have borne the little tax on tea and other matters had it not been that England took away from the colonies their money, which created unemployment and dissatisfaction. The inability of colonists to get power to issue their own money permanently out of the hand of George III and the international bankers was the prime reason for the Revolutionary war. “
Benjamin was right. But…the old nemesis of John Adams, Alexander Hamilton, got us back in with the international bankers. And you don’t want to mess with the international bankers. If you bring a stick to the fight, they will bring a thousand stealth bombers, loaded with the latest intergalactic planetary death rays.
Case in Point: Abraham Lincoln enraged the Europeans international bankers by abolishing the country’s central bank. In 1862 he issued about $450 million in currency printed with green ink and they were called green backs. It was debt free fiat money. (Assassinated)
Case in Point: Hitler, did the same thing. He did not borrow from the international bankers and he issued his own debt free money, and put the Germans back to work. Within three years, Germany became an economic powerhouse—and this after the horrible depression they had gone through after the first war.
In Mein Kempt he said this:

And then Winston Churchill said this:
“You must understand that this war is not against Hitler or National Socialism but against the economic strength of the German people— which must be smashed. “

Case in Point: John F. Kennedy issued $4.2 billion in United States Notes through the U.S. Treasury rather than the Federal Reserve system in 1963. He then took steps to redirect the foreign investment of U.S. Companies. He wanted tax reform eliminating the tax privileges of US based global investment companies, and he wanted to crack down on foreign tax havens. (assassinated)
Americans have bailed out whole countries to save banks. In 2008, George W. Bush saved the banks. Obama did it again….(he still doing it)
Internet commentator Michael Rivero had this to say about the bailouts :
“In short the US government took your jobs, so the banks could take your homes to cover the losses from this gigantic swindle they were caught playing on the whole world. It is wealth confiscation to protect the banks, just like FDR did in 1933 with the gold.”
No one was punished.
Not all Presidents wanted to jump in with the globalists international bankers. President James a Garfield, said this in 1881.
“Whoever controls the volumes of money in our country is absolute master of all industry and commerce…and when you realize that the entire system is very easily controlled one way or another, by a few powerful met at the top you will not have to be told how periods of inflation and depression originate. (He was assassinated…two weeks later)
It’s never spoken about by our politicians. We print money to keep the stock market up and the rich making dividends while taking money from the middle class and passing it around to the poor. The plan has been to put all the inventions, the patents, the control, into the big multinational corporations. They now control the majority in Congress and Presidents, who only have to look at history to behave themselves.
Obama will continue the international bankers dream of a New World Order and they will keep us thinking that someday, somehow, the politicians in Washington will truly help that little fly at the bottom of the grand canyon.
So…as Nancy Pelosi says, ‘Embrace the suck’…Which in Nancy Pelosi’s mind is the same as “Bend over America—here comes the rest of the suck and you’re going to like it! ”
Can the poor little nobody fly sitting on a rock, battle the great international arsenal of wealth?

Please note that this request by you for a cash donation from me is extremely unfortunate and very ill-timed. You see sir, I am one of the military retirees your “bipartisan” budget just impacted. You and every Republican (both in the House and Senate that voted to pass this travesty betrayed and broke trust with me and everyone like me. You may not know us by name, but we’re the people, Congressman, who answered our Nation’s call, some of us at a very early age to willingly serve YOU and others LIKE YOU so you could safely attend college and pursue your personal ambitions without fear of harm.
You might also want to note that for at least 20 years, my brothers-in-arms answered that call of duty EVERY SINGLE DAY, without fail, without complaint, without enough money to sustain our loved ones we had to leave behind while we DID OUR JOB in every corner of the Earth. And for that service, we were given absolute assurance our so-called retirement benefits would be protected by law. The very law you shattered in your zeal to impress your Democratic cohorts in your back room deal–with the enemy. Yes, I said it. The liberal Democrats are an enemy to the American people and our Nation. Your lack of judgment and eagerness to compromise on the backs of us who protected you is sickening. Congressman, you and every Republican that voted for injuring military retirees have engaged in a complicit, sordid affair with the Democrats who’s objective has always been to dismantle the military. By climbing into their bed on this issue, you have confirmed you are absolutely no better than they and have proven it with your vote.
Congressman Ryan, the audacity which you display is noteworthy, but to unceremoniously snatch earned money from a small group that has added so much more value than the paltry $6B you looked to “save” (which is all smoke and mirrors and you know it), is reprehensible and insulting.
We have, despite the hardships, meager salaries and harsh conditions, have performed with honor and excellence…in silence, which is something most members of Congress have no idea about doing. Our job approval was, is and always be better than yours. We knew our mission and we got it done, then handed it off to a new generation in better shape than we found it.
Your ability to look us in the eye, take money from us (apparently there was ZERO, other source of waste within the federal government that you could have recovered this money from…right, got it), while simultaneously holding your hand out to beg (with passion) for our cash is stunning. Your actions have proven you do not have the tremendous intellect you’ve sold the American people on. I say, with all seriousness, Congressman, what you lack in intellect and spinal rigidity, you make up for in cajones.
I hope you and your cowardly, Republican “colleagues” hear a message from me loud and clear. You will NEVER receive another cent of financial support from me. Further, if you happen to be at a Capitol Hill dinner or at a K Street cocktail party with RNC Chair Reince Priebus, Rep. Ron Barber, Sen. Jeff Flake or Sen. John McCain, I would be honored if you communicate with them that I am launching an effort to ensure NONE of you traitorous “representatives of the people” ever receive another vote from a military retiree. Nobody Remembers the Free Men of Massachusetts Bay Colony, and the Lords Who Demanded to Rule Them

I’m having a big problem listening to Obama trash the “rich” when he himself, lives higher on the hog than most men on the planet. Obama carries himself, like a Lord. He rules like a “King.” Obama is, by all measures of the world, what HE considers himself to be: A Lord of the World.
The “Lords’ of the world have been around since the beginning of history, as we see in this letter sent to the people of the Massachusetts Bay Colony. In this letter, some elite Lords in London, made some pretty tyrannical demands. I thought I would see if their ‘demands’ sound anything like the Lords of our time make every single day.
It was 1636. Three Puritan Lords of Parliament (Lords Brooke, Saye, and Sele) decided they wanted to leave London and travel to America. After all, they helped with the founding of the Massachusetts Bay Colony and decided it was time for them to go there. (Typically, after all the hard work had been done.)
So they wrote the people in Massachusetts, stating their demands. I’ve rewritten their demands below, copied from The History of the Colony of Massachusetts’s by Thomas Hutchinson, 1765.
Remember this was long before the Constitution.
Demand 1: That the Commonwealth should consist of two distinct ranks of men, whereof the one should be for them, and their heirs, gentlemen of the country: the other for them and their heirs freeholders.
(We have the Clintons dynasty, The Bush Dynasty, The McCain Dynasty, the Cheney Dynasty, and America also in 2013, has two distinct ranks of men now: It is now a hard fact: those who rule us, do not abide by the laws they impose on the rest of us: Obamacare is the prime example. Congress does not have to abide by it, nor does our President. They ignore our Constitution. The politicians are now on top of the elite totem pole. Washington D.C. has the biggest concentration of rich people in the country. To repeat the fine words of P.J. O’Rourke, we have a Parliament of Lordly Whores.)
Demand 2: That in these gentlemen and freeholders, assembled together, the chief power of the Commonwealth shall be place, both for making and repealing laws.
Demand 3: Without a mutual consent, nothing should be established.
(During the shutdown, Obama refused to hear any suggestions. He was the law. Therefore no help for the American people was ever allowed to even be discussed.)
Demand 4: That the first rank, consisting of gentlemen, should have power, for them and their heirs, to come to the parliaments or public assemblies and there to give their free votes personally: the second rank of freeholders should have the same power, for them and their heirs, of meeting and voting but by their deputies.
(What this means is that they want the real power of the powerful to remain with them and their families. Notice, Hillary is NEVER seen without Chelsea now. WHY do you think that is? The rest of us can vote for our local sheriff, that they have already hand-pick most of the time.)
Demand 5: That for facilitating and dispatch of business, and other reasons, the gentlemen and freeholders should and hold their meetings in two distinct houses.
(God forbid the rich elites have to mingle with the lowly working guy. It’s still the same. Good luck even getting a reporter into a Bildergberg or G20 meeting, or the White House.)
Demand 6: That there shall be set times for these meetings, annually or half yearly.
(I LOVE this one. Even the rich gentlemen of 1636 didn’t want to be bothered with having to actually WORK at governing.)
Demand 7: That it shall be the power of the parliament, thus constituted and assembled, to call the governor and all public officers to account, to create new officers, and to determine them already set up: and the better to stop the way to insolence and ambition, it may be ordered that all offices and fees of office shall, every parliament, determine, unless they be new confirmed the last day of every session. ion.
(Notice: “better to stop the way to insolence and ambition.” The elite government must control every single office and impose fees (taxes) and keep the ambitious low-life’s in their place.)
Demand 8. That the governor shall ever be chosen out of the rank of gentlemen.
(You have to be a very rich man to run for President. That’s a very small class of people. Most of the Tea Party people lost due to lack of funds against the big Rhino machine. Most all of our politicians are Lords from Harvard or Yale. )
Demand 9: That for the present, the Right Honorable the Lord Viscount Saye and Sele, the Lord Brooke, who have already been at great disbursements for the public works in New England and such other gentleman of approved sincerity and worth, as they before their personal remove, shall take into their number should be admitted for them and their heirs, gentlemen of the country.
(This is the excuse Hillary will use to be President: She has already served so much time given to the public good already.)
Demand 10: That the rank of freeholders shall be made up of such as shall have so much personal estate there, as shall be thought fit for men of that condition, and have contributed some fit proportion to the public charge of the country, either by their disbursements of labors.
(The Lords wanted to limit the people who could be even be in the freeholders to rich people who gave big money, preferably to them and their projects. Can you say, GE? Google? Solydra?)
So what happened you may ask? Did those first Americans go for the bigwigs in London coming over and demanding they get to rule forever?
Wow. Things have not changed a bit, have they? So—what did the people of Massachusetts have to say about these demands?
John Cotton wrote them back: After beating around the bush, he politely said this:
But it is one thing to submit unto what they have no calling to reform: another thing voluntarily to ordain a form of government which, to the best discerning of many of us, is expressly contrary to rule. Nor need Your Lordship fear, that this course will lay such a foundation as nothing but a mere democracy can be built upon it.
Back then, even a lowly common Minister knew what our current President does not: that a mere democracy was not good enough for freedom, or America.
You know what?The Lords of 1636 stayed in England.
We’ve seem to come full circle. It’s 1636 all over again..
What REALLY Matters is Whether We Have a President or a Tyrant

In the beginning of Charles Krauthammer’s No. one bestseller, “Things that Matter” he makes the point that even though the things that really matter are outside of politics, politics is what influences literally everything:
“While science, medicine, art, poetry, architecture, chess, space, sports, number theory and all things hard and beautiful promise purity, elegance and sometimes even transcendence, they are fundamentally subordinate. In the end, they must bow to the sovereignty of politics. You can have the most advanced and efflorescent of cultures, Get your politics wrong, however, and everything stands to be swept away. This is not ancient history. This is Germany 1933.”
And so, with an American President that is becoming a dictator, we face the same surmise. What’s even worse, is we could face future force from our own President, who is building an army to obey…just him.
He has fired over 100 of our top generals. The new ones WILL disarm us.
Obama is not just a lame President: He is a dangerous man.
Many of you that read me, know that I have been talking about this exponentially expanding Presidency for years now. FDR had it perfected. Bill Clinton armed North Korea AND China. Bush set up Homeland Security…TSA searches became the norm. Everything they do that is against the America people and the Constitution, is sold to the American people as necessary—- protecting us.
The people that are crying out against Obama’s tyranny will be targeted, and punished. Obama has said so himself. The IRS scandal, that our politicians did nothing about, is proof. Our military being trained to spot patriots as the enemies of America (who is Obama) is proof. What more do you need? Obama has abandoned all former allies and now arms the very people who kill us.
Yet, his comrade professors are crying out for another term. Will Obama become the final American President?
Let me tell you what frightens me the most tonight: ‘President’ Obama and his wife, Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton, and George W. Bush, all got on Air Force One to fly to Africa.
Have you seen any pictures yet? Have you heard ANY reports? Two opposing parties, three Presidents and one future…all on Air Force One…and what could they possibly be talking about?
Tell me…where are all the propaganda pictures? That alone shows secrecy. And that’s not good.
I’ll tell you what they are not talking about: our horrible school system.
Despite whatever their differences are: They have ONE goal—to put more power into the executive office. All three Presidents have worked for the big money global economy, and that’s—– just not us.
Remember hearing then President George W. Bush, laughing when he said, “If this was a dictatorship, we could get more done. As long as I’m the dictator. HEHHE”?
That wasn’t funny….but that’s the corporate executive response.
Presidents don’t even use Congress anymore, and why should Congress care? They don’t even read the bills they pass. Presidents get their laws through the vast unconstitutional apparatuses of ‘departments.’ Obama is always complaining about Congress. He wants Congress…abolished.
Yesterday would be fine by him.
Go to the library, look in the reference books for government offices, and you will see THOUSANDS of them. In fact, half of the population works for the government, and that’s by design. If you have half the people dependent on that government paycheck and pension, the other half won’t be able to get the people that work for the government to stand up to them.
It’s simple—–they like to eat.
That doesn’t leave much of the private sector left to support them AND the 93 million people that are out of work.
Krauthammer is right. Politics can destroy a country. Obama is amalgamation of communism, socialism and fascism—all of which…needs a dictator. And a few men are finally speaking out: FINALLY.
Obama doesn’t care about the law. There is so much proof that he wasn’t even eligible to run, it’s almost a joke. He lets our men die on the battle field. He encourages race riots. He follows the communist playbook for overtaking a government: Create the problem—-Come in with the solution. And because American children don’t even KNOW what communism is, they just don’t recognize it.
That was by design too.
The way I see it, …soon we have only a sliver of freedom left to us.
They are taking our wills. Our jobs. Our very lives with denying us doctors.
They are turning the screws. They are leaving us…hopeless.
By design.
The official White House pictures that come out of the Mandela funeral kiss-affair will be interesting to see…
So, what can we do? The Presidency can kill anyone without trial: he can ruin their lives with IRS audits: he can suspend ANY law: he can gather dirt on anyone on the planet: he can send them (our soldiers) into dangerous places on HIS orders, without protection, watch them die, and then remain blameless.
Obama actually has the greatest power ever held by one man in human history.
The Presidential seal is getting bigger and bigger with every Presidential appearance he makes. Think I’m kidding?
What we will be sure to see..is more staged pictures of Presidents who hold secrets none of us can even imagine…or would want to.
At this point in time, I’m sure even John Adams would agree (If he saw Obama today) that the Presidency should be taken down to just a man who gets his picture taken in the White House and gives diplomatic parties.
Stripped of all power. George Washington never had the power to kill American citizens at a whim. If we can’t impeach the man, call a Constitutional Convention and strip him of the power he is using now to destroy us all.
Our Presidents have become Kings.. and the American people HAVE to stop them…because, in the end, as I am sure Charles would agree—-
The things that matter most won’t matter anymore, if our politics are wrong.

Ask yourself: What do the democrats like Harry Reid say most often? They complain that the republicans and the tea party are trying to destroy government. They want to turn people against the state. And today, Harry dismissed his act against the Constitution by changing the rules of the Senate, by saying “Hey, we change rules all the time. ” And he’s right, they do. Obama can change any law passed by Congress…all by himself. It’s unconstitutional . Obamacare is unconstitutional. And yet, they do not impeach him.
Our President is becoming a King.
Our Constitution was set up in blood so that the American people would never again suffer under a King. The idea that “we the people’ rule, NOT the King, was the first of its kind in world history.
But Nobody Remembers that In 1634, King Charles made his subjects in America take an oath to him, stating their duties to the government.. (See below.) Only…King Charles II objected to what he felt was an attitude of Independence. In 1665, he ordered that it be amended to include a pledge of “faith and true allegiance to our Sovereign Lord the King.”
This oath was the first document ever printed on a press in America. It was the Oath of Freeman in Massachusetts, which was approved by the Massachusetts General Court on May 14, 1634:
I…Being by God’s Providence an inhabitant and freeman within the jurisdiction of this commonwealth, do freely acknowledge myself to be subject to the government thereof: and therefore do swear by the great and dreadful name of the ever living God that I will be true and faithful to the same, and will accordingly yield assistance and support thereunto with my person and estate, as in equity I am bound: and will also truly endeavor to maintain and preserve all the liberties and privileges thereof, submitting myself to the wholesome laws and orders made and established by the same. And further, that I will not plot or practice any evil against it, or consent to any that shall so do: but will timely discover and reveal the same to lawful authority now here established for the speedy preventing thereof. Moreover, I do solemnly bind myself in the sight of God that, when I shall be called to give my voice touching any such matter of this state, in which freemen are to deal, I will give my vote and suffrage as I shall judge in my own conscience may best conduce and tend to the public weal of the body, without respect of persons or favor of any man. So Help me God in the Lord Jesus Christ.
Yes, we pledge that we would assist and support the King, with our persons and estate.
In Common Core our children are being taught the updated version of the oath: (From Freedom)
Yet another area in which Obama and his supplicants are destroying America is in the schools. In Common Core’s lesson plan for possessive nouns, the tots are taught that “He (the president) makes sure the laws of the country are fair” reads better if changed to “He makes sure the country’s laws are fair.” It may read better, but the president doesn’t make laws, Congress does. And if by “fair,” they mean constitutional, that’s the job of the Supreme Court. What’s more, if a Republican resided in the White House, I suspect Common Core would have referred to community organizers, not the president.
Lest you think, that was merely an unintentional oversight in the lesson plan, two of Common Core’s other examples are “The commands of government officials must be obeyed” and “The wants of the individual are less important than the well-being of the nation.”
Look how far we have come. Remember this? The Pledge of Allegiance to Obama: (And all the stuff he want you to do.) And Nobody also notes: Obama would LOVE Charles’s outfit.
Harry Reid, by His Own Admission, Just Ruined the Country

Harry Reid, by his own words, has just destroyed the ‘vision and genius” of our country’s founding document forever.
I hope the conservatives flash this video all over the country…today, Harry Reid, as Senate Majority Leader, did exactly what he SWORE he would never do–changed the rules of the Senate (rules that had been in place for over 200 years) to give Obama complete control over who he wants to put into very powerful cabinet positions. This gives more power to Obama. He can now put a full-fledged communist into whatever place he wants, and the ‘minority’ is helpless to protect the country.
Add to that, Obama calling reporters to the White House to ‘tell’ them how to report on all his tyrannical changes, and you’ve got a dictator.
Harry was pathetic today, saying he did this for the ‘middle classes’ and ‘rules are changed all the time’, and how unfair everyone has been to Obama…
So this is how they are going to implement their final global carbon tax, and while the republicans will do nothing but hope that this will give them more seats in the next election, if rules can be changed so easily, what makes them think there will even be one?
Look out…here come MORE taxes!

I am a nobody. If the different classes of America were color-coded, I would be in the yucky brown, one rung up from the bottom. I grew up in Naples, Florida and live near the Mississippi River now with my husband and two dogs. I am part of the slowly disappearing middle-class.
