“Some People Live, and Some People Die..”
Nobody Knows—
What monsters rule us:
How ironic–
U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sibelius says she doesn’t want to intervene in transplant decisions about a dying Pennsylvania girl when three other children at the same hospital are just as sick.
The little dying girls just needs her signature…that’s it. The other kids have nothing whatsoever to do with this.
They say she has been awaiting a transplant from a pediatric donor and is also eligible for a lung from an adult donor. But under existing policy all adults in the region with her blood type will be offered the lungs first, her parents say, even those more stable and with less severe conditions. The girl’s parents called for a change in the policy after their appeal was denied.
Kathleen (Goebbels) Sebelius, must have felt powerful because she holds the little girls’ life in her hands. And then she says that she doesn’t want to have to decide who lives and who dies.
Have you got that?
She doesn’t want to be the one who decides who lives and who dies.
But she just did. She just killed her by denying her care. But, hey…she’ll look into the rule that keeping the girl from living.
A Congressman tried to BEG:
I’m begging you … Sarah has three to five weeks to live. Suspend the rules until we look at this policy,” Rep. Lou Barletta, R-Pa., told Sibelius at a session of a House Education and Workforce Committee hearing.
“Forty people in your home state are waiting for a lung,” Sibelius countered in the exchange in which the pair spoke over each other.
Remember this hypocrisy, next time you hear Michelle Obama claim that we must do everything for the children.
This is compassion? This is ‘progressive’? We have the science but the great dictators will not let us use it?
Does everyone here realized that these people are going to start committing genocide? Does everyone get it? Obamacare will decide whether they LET you live or die, if you should need help.
What we can all do is PRAY..that some parent somewhere, whose child dies in the next few weeks, let’s pray that they hear of this poor child, and donates some lungs.
And may God help this monster called Kathleen Sibelius, because I’m pretty sure if she was lying on a road dying and asked for my help, I would not give her any…
I would simply say…”Some people live, and some people die.”
And walk away.
(Sorry, I’m pissed.)

Life and some decisions could be a simpler process if common sense was put in place. I know it may not be possible all the time. And I know also that some decisions are not that easy or simple . Having said that, most organs are removed at the time of preparing for autopsy or burial, is what I have been lead to believe. So why not make it simply a process that it is always done if certain things are on a list of being needed? Surely we have so many needless deaths Everyday, can we not see to it, that those lives were not lost in vain, give possible life to another. Would not that lost loved one give of their inner shell, in order for another life to live on?? I am sorry, I do not say this lightly, I too have been there. Unfortunately my sister who passed on wanted so be able to give to who might need any of her inner shell, as she put it. But cancer had taken it all. She told us, her body was not her, her essence of life was.
We all need to think this way. Don.t make others suffer when they need not, make it a process that is in place, use what can be used when one has passed . Unless one strongly opposes this and states it, then it it an automatic process. It would stop who gets to have life and who doesn’t, surely we have more then enough deaths to cover all, sad and trust me not said lightly.

This is Obamacare. It should be up to the doctors to help this child, NOT a handful of powerful politicians. They have taken the power of that decision between the patient and doctor and put it into the hands of a few politicians.
I say again: This isn’t a military decision. Obamacare is a holocaust.
They are monsters.

The sheer arrogance of everyone in this administration is breath taking. From DHS to IRS and now the HHS, they all are above the mere hoi polloi. As they say a fish rots from the head. The man sets the tone and the apparatchik does the dirty work and he can blame Ida No.

Monster or incompetent, joy? Heartless or hoist on a petard?
Not that I am excusing Sibelius: I know nothing about her.
People get into positions of Power, holding life or death decision-making capacity which is, in turn, a capacity created by the systems they create or preside over. The Wisdom of Solomon is needed and that wisdom was based on his willingness to cut a baby in half to reveal the real mother from the liar. Not a great option nor one we would usually and with deliberation permit an ‘official’ to exercise.
Take that small, sick girl, in all her personality (that we infer from a photo, as I do not know her either) out of the equation and replace her with a thousand other small, sick children. And only one lung available. Or a sick adult with a far from angelic face. What then? Where does Sibelius come in?
Take Sibelius out and put me in her seat of power. What should I do?
I, of course, am a Great Man. I am a Knight. I have a brother far removed who is the son of God Himself, so that makes God my dad. But I am buggered if I want that sort of ‘responsibility’ of deciding who is to die and who is not. I have been there.
Or put yourself in Sibelius’ place. Would you ‘choose’ who should get a lung-on-offer? Could you?
The system is flawed. The system has no business here, except that it is demanded by others in a pseudo-democratic polity. So the system needs to be changed. But what systematic means would you (or I, or other readers) suggest?
My heart goes out to that little girl. She is a gorgeous child. I want to kiss her and cuddle her and tell her all will be well. But so too do I want to show the same compassion and love for all the others who need lungs, and kidneys and hearts and the healthy organs that could replace their failing ones. But while I (and you) have that compassion and love I do not have that power. No-one in history has ever had that power.
I recall reading Maj General Strong’s biography of Field Marshal Montgomery. Facing an enormous tank battle in North Africa, Montgomery called for a ‘Battle Plan’; the responsibility of his General Staff. Two were brought to him on the eve of the battle after much work; the second simply because he was known to be a stickler for detail and predicted outcome. The Staff expected a grilling. Montgomery rejected both and demanded a better one, even though time was fast running out. His reason? The battle as planned would be too costly in lives.
Not just his own men’s lives, but the enemy’s too.
Montgomery deserved his General’s Rank. He was an extraordinary human being who when faced with life and death on a huge scale could still value life. He had the power to keep death to a minimum.
Sibelius is a General. A civil one. She may not be up to the task. She may not show the humility that Montgomery maintained in pristine condition. But do I have it? Do you?
As I said, I am not excusing Sibelius. She may be the Princess of Lies’ bedchamber maid for all I know. No-one gets into the level of position and power that she has without seeking it, treading on others to get there, lying, cheating, betraying others and betraying Principles. I do not give my compassion to her, not even lightly. I save that for those like the little girl who has done no wrong.
Life has Tragedy built in.
But if the ‘system’ she presides over is to be changed, please suggest how. In a better world a Government less intent on power and more intent on facilitating humanity and compassion, intelligence and solution would enable people themselves to so combine talent and skill to provide a far better solution. What do YOU suggest.
