Talk about ‘coincidence’. Just in time to join the Pope and Obama “global warming initiative’ (along with Joe Biden) Hillary quickly came out today and said she is against the Keystone Pipeline because of global warming reasons. Never mind that it makes no sense, because all THAT means is Canada will sell its oil to China, which will use that oil to pollute much more than America ever would, most of us know that it’s all about the money.
Global Warming Control is all about grabbing MORE money from the middle class Americans, and redistributing it to the rest of the world—-and control. And money for the libs, who didn’t get in on all the oil deals.
Hillary has laid low for good reason. It was Hillary that started this universal Health Care, and it’s Hillary that wants total control of your child from cradle to death. She devoted a chapter to it in her infamous first book “It Takes a Village” (To really screw up your kids!) I found this in my little neighborhood grocery pick-up paper…you know, the ones that announce all the leftist goodies?
It might be hard to read, but what it means is that the federal government is giving North Country (And that includes Ferguson) a $12.3 million dollar grant so that mothers can put their newborns into EARLY HEAD START. Hillary Clinton has wanted to do this ever since she got to Washington. Notice that this mean also that the “state” nannies will come INTO your home and give you advice on how to raise your kids. And trust me, they will be taking notes and names of those who don’t obey…and you could lose your kid for being a terrible parent.
This is already happening in England.
Babies brains are formed from ages one to five. This IS the ultimate state control. This is as scary as it gets.
I guess if they can’t prevent that child from being born, best to get those little suckers brainwashed with the right communist! Oh, I mean Hillary Baby Trooper.
Obama has already kick stated this abomination, and the GOP, once again, said…nothing. In fact there aren’t too many people talking about it….meaning once again that both parties fully support the idea.
Why aren’t the republicans worried about the democrats being in control? They’ve already got the grade schools and the universities, and NOW they will have the kids from the moment they are born, making them all obedient ‘progressives’ forever.
Maybe because, at the very top…it really doesn’t matter at all.

This is so typical. In this world there are SO many artists as talented as U2 and yet, as Joni Mitchell once said in a song, people pass them by. In a song called “He Played Real Good for Free” written long ago, Joni sang about this:

Notice how without their great PA system U2 sounds much like any other band on the street…it was only until everybody KNEW who they were, that they came over to listen.
So, support your favorite local band. Not all of them can be famous, but they are a lot cheaper to listen to.

Charles Heston: Give the Gift of Faith to a Young Mind

Right now, in the living room, my husband is recording the original Ten Commandments. It was the first movie that I ever saw on the big screen. I was almost five, and I remember being about three rows from the front in what seemed to me, to be the biggest theater in the world. The fact was, back then, Naples, FL, had less than 8,000 people and it was the only movie theater in town.
It was probably pretty small.
My older brother went with me of course, and I have no idea where my parents were….they figured my older brother could watch me. His way of watching was to sit me in the front row, and then, he would take off to find a seat next to the nearest pretty girl he could find. They had already seen it, and so, being short of money, they just bought tickets for their children. They sat outside in the parking lot waiting for us. Or so my mother said.
I won’t tell you the impact that movie made upon my heart— my soul. Upon seeing Charles Heston part the Red Sea, I was more than overwhelmed. I believed in God, and Moses…and that seed is still there. The power of that movie affected the rest of my life.
As for the church…that’s another blog.
I suppose, because I saw the Ten Commandments FIRST, it really is the reason why I have always judged churches with skeptical reverence. When I was told in Sunday school that you have to go though Jesus to even GET to God, I thought…well heck, that’s not what Moses said.
Laugh if you want, but in my mind, it was that simple. Maybe I’m a Jew, but don’t know it. (ha)
Because I happen to believe that whatever religion is pushed into the young malleable mind will stay there forever—I could have told George W. Bush that trying to change the Muslims into a democracy is a crazy idea. Christianity is based upon the individual seeking his own course. Islam, is obey, or die. I don’t know what they tell their five year old— but its enough to make them believe that if they kill infidels on earth, it’s a good thing. Not exactly the “Turn the other cheek” message.
Muhammad, came AFTER Jesus. From what I can tell about what I’ve read about Muhammad…he figured out that if Jesus could claim that Gabriel had come down and told him he was special, why not try it? He stole the line of “Gabriel the angel has come to me..and I am god’s true son.” —but unlike Jesus, he was just another neighborhood crime lord.
Okay, I wasn’t there, and it’s more complicated that and—- I’m off subject
Yesterday, on Easter, my husband and I watched Ben-Hur, with Charles Heston. You can watch all the movies made since Ben-Hur, that describe Jesus’ life, but none of them even come close. There are many reasons for this…for instance in Ben- Hur, they never ever show Jesus’ face.
You don’t even see Jesus talk. The movie is about faith. And tyranny. And the cruelty of man. You must paint your own faith into that story. It’s brilliant, and respectful, and really the best way to present Jesus. But, that’s just my opinion. The power of the human imagination is always more powerful than someone’s artistic idea.
And I remember thinking how lovingly the old people in the movie were revered, and treasured. Wouldn’t it be nice if in our culture of today, old people were treated with more kindness?
(sigh.)
Watching Ben-Hur today, reminded me how Charles Heston really has played such a big part in my own life, my own morality. First the Ten Commandments. And then years later, when I was first starting to awake to the madness of Bill Clinton’s corruptible presidency, I heard Charles Heston on the radio, one day while I was driving to St. .Charles, MO. IT was …a “I’ve been hit by lighting” moment.
All the pain that I have been feeling about my country changing, disappearing, right before my eyes, came out in his words. I could not stop crying. The truth of his words cut so deeply into my heart, it wasn’t too much later that I started blogging. OMG…here’s a man who just blurted out the truth! The truth we are all told is not happening. I was so moved, I wrote him a letter.
(And yes, he answered back.)
The truth is, Charles Heston was more than a magnificent actor, he was a hero of a man. Every movie he picked to do, represented truths he wanted to convey.
( Unlike the movie stars of today making big money at films where they kill with guns every other scene and play heroes…and then come out and say…”Nobody should own or SHOOT a gun. Hey, it’s just a movie.”
Charles Heston back when Clinton was President, was one of the few to speak out against the madness of the left;
In a 1997 speech called Fighting the Culture War in America, Heston rhetorically deplored a culture war he said was being conducted by a generation of media people, educators, entertainers, and politicians against:
...the God fearing, law-abiding, Caucasian, middle-class Protestant – or even worse, evangelical Christian, Midwestern or Southern – or even worse, rural, apparently straight – or even worse, admitted heterosexuals, gun-owning – or even worse, NRA-card-carrying, average working stiff – or even worse, male working stiff – because, not only don’t you count, you are a down-right obstacle to social progress. Your voice deserves a lower decibel level, your opinion is less enlightened, your media access is insignificant; and frankly, mister, you need to wake up, wise up, and learn a little something from your new America; and until you do, would you mind shutting up?
He went on:
The Constitution was handed down to guide us by a bunch of wise old dead white guys who invented our country! Now some flinch when I say that. Why! It’s true-they were white guys! So were most of the guys that died in Lincoln‘s name opposing slavery in the 1860s. So why should I be ashamed of white guys? Why is “Hispanic Pride” or “Black Pride” a good thing, while “White Pride” conjures shaven heads and white hoods? Why was the Million Man March on Washington celebrated by many as progress, while the Promise Keepers March on Washington was greeted with suspicion and ridicule? I’ll tell you why: Cultural warfare!
Charles Heston saw the hypocrisy, and the lies, and the evil of the liberal left.
And his speech on the radio that day, made me feel, that I was not alone. I cried when I heard him speak the truth on the radio.
He never did it again.
If only he had……..
What we are learning then, and now, is that Jesus came at a time in history, when the poor men were beaten down by an all too powerful Roman empire. Jesus gave the world sanctuary. He gave them hope. Whether you think he is the son of God or not, he gave the world…a sensible way to deal with tyranny. A way to react to the madness–a way back to God.
It was a message I needed to hear again today, in this world where we have a president who remains silent at the slaughter of Christians and Jews happening again, all over the world.
And if I ever have a grandchild, the very first movie I am sitting with them to see…

I SORT of watched the Oscars last night. Whenever I got insulted, I would change the channel, which happened a lot.
In the past years I have written about how to pick the winners at the Oscars: Just pick the movie that expresses the liberal causes, and that‘s your winner. It’s easy. Was the movie about the sufferings of :gay? women? Muslims? blacks?
OSCAR! Add a few devastating illness and you have some variety.
It works every time. The good news is these Hollywood actors have become the loudest mouthpieces for the democratic party, and anybody who doesn’t tow the line of liberal feel good causes are…trashed. And most of these movie stars have big mouths.
So, guess what? America stopped going to their movies as payback. You want to make fun of my conservatives values? Then I don’t have to go see your movies. It must bother them because Sean Penn made a comment about how “Movies don’t even have to make money, it’s all about the ‘art’.
And last year the movie industry lost BIG time. The movie that made half the profits, over $350 million and counting, was a movie about a true American Hero…a soldier.
Damn. What can you do when the nation STILL insists on those old fashion values? What every good marketing agent will do: you have to throw a few bones to the paying crowd.
They gave “Sniper” a nomination so those idiotic morons in the fly over states would tune into the Oscars and learn something. Maybe even go SEE those other movies and learn how wicked they are. Like how homosexuals want to kill themselves when teenagers because they feel “different.” I think last year more soldiers killed themselves than homosexuals…but they don’t care. They have gays in underwear.
“Sniper” won nothing.
And then there was Oprah. The TITANIC Oprah, who made Chris Pine cry with the emotion of how black people should be released from jail…and how racism is rampart in our society.
When “glory” came on, being a thinking human being, with still the right to choose, we flipped the channel to “The Walking Dead” only to witness…two men kissing and loving each other, and my husband and I turned and looked at each other and said, “Oh no…NOT the Talking Dead too.”
STOP IT!! This was a plan to get us to turn BACK to the OSCARS! Ahhhhhhh…….
Lady Gaga, go figure, did a fine performance of songs from the “Sound of Music” The host was rather, boring. And so, I can see why he had to come out in his underwear.
But the talk on the blogs today is the big speech given by Patricia Arquette…she wants us all to march for the civil rights of….women.
“To every woman who gave birth, to every taxpayer and citizen of this nation,” said Arquette. “We have fought for everybody else’s equal rights. It’s our time to have wage equality once for all. And equal rights for women in the United States of America.”
Somebody tell Hillary. Evidently, she has always paid women 72 cents to the men’s dollar.
During those years, the median annual salary for a woman working in Clinton’s office was $15,708.38 less than the median salary for a man, according to the analysis of data compiled from official Senate expenditure reports.
There wasn’t ONE movie besides Sniper that I would pay money to see. And at the end, the director of the year, a Mexican, made a plea for us to welcome with open arms all his Mexicans neighbors who deserve to be Americans:
Director Inarritu said he prays his native country finds “a government we deserve” and that immigrants to the U.S. “can be treated with the same dignity and the respect of the ones who came before and (built) this incredible immigrant nation.”
Wait. Now MEXICANS built this nations? Move over Muslims.
Don’t they know…that it was the WOMEN who built this nation! Every time I look at the Empire State Building I remind myself that it was built by… very muscular women, who claimed to be men.
Back then, nobody would have hired them if they had said they were female.
Clearly, they have many more movies to make. And I wonder, when they make this movie about how Mexican, Muslims and women built America, they will mention the fact that they were all actually gay?
I think I’m on to something here. Oscar worthy.

Just in case you missed this, Obama is saying that for women, going out your front door is more dangerous than driving your car. If you have not been raped or beaten…YOU WILL be in your lifetime.
The war on men…must go forth! Onward! Women! BEWARE of those evil men, standing beside you!

Let me get this straight: They want women in the workforce, but they want to scare them SO much, they only hang out in groups, stay home and go nowhere— carry guns…wait.
They don’t want them to carry guns right? So, in order to stop all this pillage, Obama just wants men to stop raping and beating women. Isn’t that nice of him?
They just want those dirty, evil, men to stop raping and beating, and saying things like, “I love you.”
“I love you” to Obama, is just one step away from a rape.
We had the “war on poverty, ” the “war on blacks” the “war on drugs” and now, for your entertainment and Hillary’s only hope for a viable voting block:

Jeb Bush and Mitt Romney are meeting today— who’s to bet both these guys are trying to figure out a plan how to defeat men like Bobby Jindal from running for President?
Bobby is articulate: He is doing a good job running Louisiana— he’s all American. I would defiantly go to the polls to vote for him. If the names on the ticket were Bush or Romney VS Hillary…I’m not sure if I would. It depends on if I felt like doing my nails instead.
Bobby states what all republican candidates should be saying now. Any immigrant that comes into a Western country should assimilate. He stated that all over Europe there were zones where Muslims kept to themselves and the people of the country stayed away, including the police.
By saying this, Bobby upset the very ‘sensitive’ French mayor of Paris (a woman) when he talked about “No go Zones.”
No wonder Obama keeps throwing dinner parties for the French.
So, Congratulations Mr. Jindal! You win the Nobody’s Fool Award for the week. Now, run for President, please.
Something tells me in THIS election, it may not be the biggest money spender that wins.

Nothing like a good slogan to get you going. And the recent “black lives matter” slogan insinuates to the world that white people are evil. Especially white Americans.

Everybody is forgetting that other people besides blacks matter too. The MLK marches are going to be plastered all over our TV’s today, Being that MLK was a great man, he would think white lives matter too..wouldn’t he?
Would MLK be upset that they made another movie about whites killing blacks, when in reality, TODAY, in 2015, it’s the blacks killing blacks, (not to mention all the black babies being aborted) that is putting all of Martin Luther’s King’s hard work, backwards?
If not, then he is no man to worship.
And despite what you will be hearing tomorrow, not ALL the blacks are on Obama’s race card boat.
One of the black Caucus members that went to church in Ferguson today said that Ferguson was a “turning point in race relations.”
Really? Which way are they going?
We have gone backwards thanks to our first black President. Not only is he trying to reincarnate the 1960s, and the race riots, the black race unemployment rate is twice that of the whites under Obama. There actually was a middle class back in the old days before civil rights.
The democratic party has done a bang-up job keeping the blacks on the liberal slave choo-choo train. And like the slave owners of old, they have kept many of them ignorant, uneducated, and poor, on purpose.
The one thing that Obama did accomplished, is he got blacks to actually get off their butts and go vote. Yes, if the blacks had not gone out and voted for Obama in the last two Presidential elections, they might actually have jobs now.

You must realized by now, that blacks…CAN vote, don’t you? In mass numbers. They’ve proved it by electing Obama… So…
Why all of a sudden do we have to make a movie about how blacks can’t vote?
I haven’t seen Selma, but I’m told it’s mostly about whites killing blacks and trying to keep them from voting, or whatever happened I’m not sure. It was not our best moment in time. And just in time to promote that the blacks should keep marching and blocking highways in 2015, ..is a movie, timed perfectly , and let me say that again…PERFECTLY….to be released JUST before MLK Day— called Selma, put out by Obama’s tried and true helper, the second richest black woman in the world, Oprah Winfrey.
Oprah Winfrey and other stars of the movie “Selma” will march in the Alabama city Sunday afternoon in honor of Martin Luther King Jr.’s birthday.
Timing is everything.
The very next night, the first black President will give his “state of the union” address where he will no doubt talk about how our race relations are (the whites fault) and then after smearing on the guilt, with a few well-timed camera shots of crying black mothers he will ask for all C students to get free college tuition. He will ACT like that applies to white kids too, but we all know that’s not happening.
All of this misery will be blamed on the republicans.
And no doubt, some mothers of ‘murdered’ black children by racists cops will be sitting next to Michelle and crying big tears, to remind the rest of America, how prejudice we all still are.
Hand over the money.
Obama will have another message for the blacks “They are being kept from voting”, because they shouldn’t have to show an ID. The real reason for no ID voting is so illegal’s can vote, but Obama doesn’t want the blacks to know that. He’s fighting for them.
Obama is about to make the poor blacks compete with the millions of illegal’s who will now take over America. Forget your minimum raise.

Soros also gave money to the Drug Policy Alliance, which worked on the perpetuation of the ‘black lives matter’ buzz phrase, which has been incorporated into speeches by political figures including Hillary Clinton.
And that’s what you have in a nutshell: The black society has been destroyed—- “a drastic dissolution of society.” Fatherless children born into poverty, given a terrible education, and kept on the hopelessness of welfare and drugs.
And now the time is ripe.

If You PAY to see Liam Neeson’s New Movie, then YOU have been taken.

I heard this news on Rush Limbaugh’s program today, and had to laugh. Liam Neeson has joined Sylvester Stallone in complaining that America citizens should not have guns—WHILE at the same time, making MILLIONS off those same people by promoting violence with guns.
“There’s too many [expletive] guns out there,” Neeson told Gulf News at a Taken 3 presser in Dubai. “Especially in America. I think the population is like, 320 million? There’s over 300 million guns. Privately owned, in America. I think it’s a [expletive] disgrace. Every week now we’re picking up a newspaper and seeing, ‘Yet another few kids have been killed in schools.’”
You tell me, how they see no hypocrisy in themselves and what they are saying.
“A character like Bryan Mills going out with guns and taking revenge: it’s fantasy. It’s in the movies, you know? I think it can give people a great release from stresses in life and all the rest of it, you know what I mean? It doesn’t mean they’re all going to go out and go, ‘Yeah, let’s get a gun!’’”
So, tell us Mr. Neeson…do YOU own a gun? Sorry. You can’t claim “It’s a fantasy” ….you are endorsing the right for a man to protect his family by agreeing to make the film. We understand that YOU live in a fantasy world where you hang out with the superrich and can hire body guards, and live in castles with heavily guarded gates, but hey, some of us live near Ferguson. We NEED our guns. What DON’T you get about this fact?
You DO have a choice Liam. You don’t have to make those films. Why do you think Americans LIKE those films? Is it because we believe in the right to protect ourselves? Or is it because we just think you’re so handsome?

But, hey, if these guys want to shoot themselves in the foot, let them. After we heard Stallone put down the American public we never spent another dime on him, and we use to see all his movies.
I don’t care how many more RAMBOS he makes, or even if Liam makes TAKEN 22, I will never spend another dime on seeing any of their work.
Nobody Thinks they both have enough money and who knows? Maybe ‘somebody’ is paying them big bucks to say this stuff.

IF Hillary Clinton And Barack Obama Truly ARE the Most Admired People in the World, We Really Need to Get off the Planet

It’s a funny end to the year—Here in America we are floating in a news sea of nebulous stories filled with marginal meanings of who, what, when and where are we? More importantly, what to do about it?
Let’s start with something simple:
Do you know where your President is tonight?
Tonight they are giving a big dinner at the White House for the French, (At least that’s what they said on Fox News) and I thought Obama and his family were in Hawaii on vacation…so, is he flying back to D.C. and then taking off again and going BACK out to Hawaii to play more golf? Is that NOT a big waste of money? Or like before, is he leaving Michelle in Hawaii, costing us more money?
President Obama will return to Washington from Hawaii Thursday while First Lady Michelle Obama and her daughters plan to continue their vacation, adding at least $100,000 and probably more than $200,000 to taxpayer costs for the excursion.
NOTICE…nothing is said about him going back.
And more about Obama’s stay in Hawaii…
A surefire sign that Obama’s in town is the gunboats that appear in Kawainui Canal. For the duration of the presidential vacation, the U.S. Coast Guard sets up a security zone in the waters around the Paradise Point Estates peninsula, the exclusive Kailua neighborhood where the president has stayed for the past five years. This keep-out area includes about a half mile of the canal, a waterway popular among paddlers and a small slice of Kailua Bay, including part of a surfing area once known as Castle’s but now called Obama’s. (Where can you not surf when Obama’s here? Obama’s.) Violators face a $40,000 fine, up to 10 years in prison and, according to one Kailua resident who lives along the canal and hasn’t quite come to terms with the firepower that accompanies the leader of the free world, “possible death.”
“Possible death?” What? It’s okay for the President to kill people to protect himself, but not for the NYPD?
Who wouldn’t want to stay in paradise when you literally can have most of the island to yourself? You know, Bernie Sanders is always complaining about the Koch Brothers, but what about Obama? WHY do the socialists never complain about the wasted money Obama has spent on himself. WHY?
Even I have to admit, that our other rulers, the Bush family ( We seem to now have rotating Kings)—- George W. stayed at the White House more often than not, so that he wasn’t dragging hundreds of men and women all over the planet, just to serve him.
And speaking of serving…
Nobody Knows WHY in the world Congress has given Guantanamo Bay money to build a new school for the children of the soldiers there, and WHY a school that will only hold 275 children is costing $65 million dollars. What are they going to do, eat out of gold plates?
GUANTANAMO NAVY BASE, Cuba. — The base with the most expensive prison on earth is getting one of the world’s priciest schools — a $65 million building with classroom space for, at most, 275 kindergarten through high school students.
Do the math: That’s nearly a quarter-million-dollars per school child. In Miami-Dade County a new school costs perhaps $30,000 per student.
Something tells me there might be some special little elite Cuban kids going there….with little beards….
And speaking of schools, some nuts in California want to pass a law to teach kids in kindergarten not to “touch” each other.
Fresh off a victory in getting a law passed that regulates sexual encounters between students on college campuses, feminist activists in California are now pushing for instruction on sexual “consent” for children starting in kindergarten.
You have to teach the concept of “sex” to a five-year-old first, in order for them to understand WHY they are not supposed to ‘touch’ each other, and Nobody Knows but it IS my Nobody’s Opinion, that forcing kids to think about sex at five, will only lead to MORE screwed up kids in the future— More rapes, more kids getting addicted to porn, more broken marriages…
Which…could be the plan, or maybe they really ARE that stupid.
Nobody Knows, but odds are, since they just took a poll and it has been announced that the American people voted that Barack Obama was the most admired man, and Hillary Clinton was the most admired woman, I’d say…the end COULD be very near.
Maybe I should start digging.

If you haven’t seen the NEW race riot video, where in July, a black man who didn’t do what the police wanted, was ‘killed’ see it below.
Now, I don’t know about you, but there are literally thousands of video’s showing cops (if you watch COPS on TV you can see this every night) trying to arrest a black man, and the black person always knows there’s a camera and they ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS are screaming discrimination.
Or, “You’re hurting meeee! Oh!!! OH!!! OH!!…stop it!”
It’s so common we are all used to it, as I’m sure the cops are.
Nevertheless, the black guy had a heart attack, due to the ordeal. And the cop was just found innocent.
It was perfect timing— this verdict coming out now. After all, after black Friday, the black rioters sort of disappeared. New York Christmas shopping is coming up!
Whatever you many think about who did what wrong here….nobody was hitting this man. We have seen cops being ruthless in some tapes, and remember, that’s VERY rare.
This seemed more like a big mistake.
BUT…when the Mayor of New York insinuates that white people are at fault “going back decades” you can be rest assured the democratic party have marching orders…
RALLY THAT WAR! White people are to blame!

What do Steve Ballmer, Luis Gutierrez, Joel Osteen, and Andrew Brietbart Have in Common?

It’s been really interesting today, on all the talk shows, hearing the democrats trying to defend Obama’s actions last week on immigration. But one thing you have to give them credit for: they have got their talking points down pat:
1. Obama HAD to do something because the republicans have not done a thing on immigration. “Congress was unwilling to act.”
Well, when a President says he will veto any thing that isn’t what he likes, what’s the point?
(Lie: They sent hundreds of bills to the Senate, and Harry Reid refused to bring them to the floor.)
2. Only 47 percent of the voters voted, therefore, the rest of the people WANTED Obama to do something and support this.
(Lie, Obama’s supporters stayed home because they don’t really care what he does, those are the 47percent that don’t PAY any taxes and are finding out Obama lied.)
3. Obama has the right to do what he did because other Presidents did the same.
(Lie, they worked with Congresses who had just passed immigration laws. Only Congress can pass immigration laws. Obama has no such power, and by his own admission.)
4. The republcians are only concerned about the border on the South, not protecting the other borders.
(This of course, borders on the absurd….it’s like saying you only care about the cancer in my brain not the stuffy nose I get from allergies.)
It’s been a real barf watching the slick enthusiasm of the democrats–mostly Hispanics, coming to the defense of Obama’s impeachable crime. Even Obama himself, has come out and claimed that—as President, he has the right to let five millions illegals stay in America. Poor things, just needed some help from him, and when everyone was outraged he said this:
“Well, my response is pass a bill. Congress has a responsibility to deal with these issues and there are some things that I can’t do on my own.”
What? You just did!
So, you have to ask yourself, how do democrats get by with such falsehoods, lies, deceptions, and the republicans don’t?
The answer is: Salemenship.
Let’s take a look at some examples of great salesmen;
Have you ever wondered WHY Microsoft cornered the market on its product? Was it just because it was so good? Take a look at the man who sold it:
Steve Ballmer. (Pretty funny) Steve could sell you a ticket to the gas chamber, that’s how good he is. (Wait…that’s sort of what Obama did….)
And then there’s THIS guy: Illinois Representative Luis Gutierrez, he was on Face the Nation this morning and he ran rings around his conservative opponent. Sure, ALL his arguments were BS, and full of holes, and his belief is that the illegals that are here, are as deserving to be here as you and I. And he sells that nonsense, like Steve Ballmer could sell you the next trip to the moon with China at the helm.
I kept yelling at the conservative guy to SAY something, REFUTE! Point out that the Canadians are not sending 100,000 unaccompanied kids into Idaho last time you looked…but no. He was totally boring, and Bob Schaeffer made sure Gutierrez had the most time. Here he admits that it’s all about getting democratic voters..and makes it all sound wonderful.
And last but not least is this guy, Joel Osteen, not your typical Evangelist. I listened to part of his sermon today, and boy, was it ever clever. He basically said, that you WILL get rich and famous, IF your parents had sacrificed to the church, and believed in God, and this devotion will be paid down to you. The more you GIVE money to the church, and he threw in other worthy causes, the more YOU will benefit in your own life. God WILL reward you.
(Never mind that millions living in poverty had religious parents too.)
Not a new story: As old as time itself: Give to us, and YOU will benefit. The oldest sales pitch around: Starting when Mohammed decided to steal the limelight of Jesus by claiming Allah choose HIM to be the new messiah, (Forget that guy Jesus) and everyone would get 72 virgins if they’d just come on over to Islam!
Joel is doing the very same thing that politicians do every day…and to see the ultimate pinnacle of hypocracy…in this video, Oprah Winfrey (the richest women in the US) chastised him for having a grand piano in his house, is about as hypocritical on her part, as it gets. As if..what she sells every day is worth money, and what he sells, is not.
So it’s all about salesmanship. And that’s what the Republicans lack. Ronald Reagan SOLD America. He sold the dreams of our fathers. It’s what we need.
Nobody Wishes we could all chip in and pay Steve Ballmer to sell America and her value to America again. (Steve? Are you bored with basketball yet?)
Do you think Jeb Bush OR Hillary Clinton would be able to sell themselves against a real salesmen with the talent of a Steve Ballmer or Joel Osteen?
And that’s been the complaint of everyone: The conservatives do NOT have that revolutionary voice, that strong voice that can SELL you freedom.
The only one that I can think of that would have matched the salesmanship of a Steve Ballmer, was Andrew Brietbart. Can you imagine if he were still alive?
And isn’t it fortuitous for the liberals that he’s no longer with us.
Is there another out there as courageous? Nobody Wonders.
