Tell me: Is fraud still a crime in America? Nobody Knows, and I say this because of one word: Gruber.
Yes, a man named Jonathan Gruber actually enlightened us this week. As Americans have been forced to stand around in wide-eyed ignorance every day since Obama was elected— this week, we actually got a GRUBER to admit to how stupid he thinks the American people are, because he wrote Obamacare in such complicated legalize nobody would figure out what a scam it was. Yes, it was Gruber: the man who designed the “Affordable” Health Care Act for America, who deliberately deceived us all and admitted it! A man who thought nobody would notice when he told the truth— Oops.
A few too many cocktails….it just slipped out.
But—- he’s GLAD he lied.
While most nobodies in the country would probably do at least 10 years in jail for committing fraud, not GRUBER! He was just doing what Obama wanted.
He has sort of apologized, but so far, our President has not.
And now, because Obama’s skin in BLACK— we can all go back to the usual state of the union with a President who hides, lies, cheats, and denies everything. Obama promised the most transparent administration and rule of law to ever grace the Lincoln bedroom. So far…all we really know is…Lincoln is still dead.
And speaking of transparency….
Nobody Knows what the heck Obama is doing in China besides chewing gum. Word has come out that China is making fun of Obama, and didn’t take too kindly to his chewing gum. As he strolled out chewing from his limo…somewhere Gwyneth Paltrow was fainting while looking for a pack of Juicy Fruit. 
And Nobody Knows whose idea it was for all the leaders of every country to be forced to wear the clothes of China? Was this some kind of psychological power play by Xi Jinping? (You WILL wear what I WANT you to wear, or I will give all those letters that you wrote to Khomeini to your press. I have your Post Office in my pocket.)
While Putin was acting like he was the life of the party, Obama acted like he had been dragged off the 17th hole, and was being made to listen to a Merle Haggard concert. Putin got great energy contracts with China…What did Obama get? Nobody REALLY Knows. Remember, he told us we could keep our doctors….
And speaking of doctors…
They are going to be working overtime soon in Ferguson, because today, Governor Nixon came out and declared to the world that when it’s announced that officer Wilson is NOT guilty of shooting Michael Brown, people are going to be fighting over those nifty Michael Brown tee-shirts. The family of Michele Brown is fighting over who gets the money for those tee-shirts now. In fact, they are so mad, they went to Switzerland to protest to the United Nations to get the U.N. to prosecute (not sure who) the police for torturing their son. They are demanding “global intervention.” They want to announce to the whole world that America is a racist, no-good, bigoted country and they torture black people.
Okay, so maybe Obama said that…but do check out that tie….
Right: Christians are being slaughtered, all over the world, blacks are being slaughtered by BLACKS here in the U.S., but let’s tell the world that if a cop shots a thug in America, one that is trying to kill him….only the U.N. can save us.
Nobody knows how many people are being tortured by having to listen to this nonsense, but I digress…Michael is dead. And Nobody Knows just how much money Michael’s parents are going to make in merchandising the BRANDing of their son, in order to become rich enough to retire OUTSIDE of Ferguson…probably Martha’s Vineyard.
And speaking of retiring, that certainly was on Governor’s Nixon’s mind this week:

While all the riots were going on right after Michael Brown was shot, Nixon was right out there to the nearest microphone (one NOT near Ferguson) talking smack about that poor Michael Brown. He was siding with Michael. He let us all believe that the cop was guilty,
BUT…whoa. Wait! The Republican took over the Senate!
Not since the Governor went after those scums breaking the NO-CALL list has he sounded so tough on crime:
Missouri Governor Jay Nixon said on Tuesday the National Guard would be on standby to respond to any violence after a grand jury decides whether or not to indict a white police officer for shooting dead an unarmed black teenager in Ferguson. “That ugliness was not representative of Missouri and it cannot be repeated,” Nixon said.
“These measures are not being taken because we are convinced that violence will occur, but because we have a responsibility to prepare for any contingency,” he said.
Nobody Knows what caused Nixon’s 180-degree turn around, but my guess is he would like to keep having big butts on that private jet of his.
Not that I have anything against big butts…just governors who tweet them, and flip-flop on their ‘beliefs.’ At least Nixon is transparent: We all can SEE him for what he is— a politician now afraid of losing his job.
So again, another week where the nobodies of the world are kept in the dark: Nobody can figure out what’s coming: Will Jeb Bush and Hillary run for President and there will be a tie? Will Daddy Bush die while Obama is still in office? And more importantly, would a politician die just to get his other son elected?

On this Veterans Day, I would like to point out, according to today’s news, there is a ‘newly’ found scientific fact that low IQ’s are genetic: And in today’s Nobody’s Perfect Awards, we have some proof:
Who’s more of a moron when it comes to the military: “President” Obama or Salon writer, David Masciotra?
Let’s start with David first.
He wrote a column expressing his feelings on the fact that he thinks we really shouldn’t be calling cops and military men: “Heroes” —-
From Salon:
“Put a man in uniform, preferably a white man, give him a gun, and Americans will worship him. It is a particularly childish trait, of a childlike culture, that insists on anointing all active military members and police officers as “heroes”…[A]fixing such a reverent label to everyone in the military or law enforcement betrays a frightening cultural streak of nationalism, chauvinism, authoritarianism and totalitarianism.”
“Even saluting a Marine, while holding a coffee cup, is tantamount to terrorism,” Masciotra insists.
“If all troops are heroes it doesn’t make sense to acknowledge that some are rapists and sadists.”“The cops who shoot unarmed teenagers who have their hands in the air….”
Okay, you get the message…David thinks guns are unnecessary, and that Marines who fight overseas are NOT heroes, because they are giving their lives to the big military complex, no big deal, unlike the noble David, who is writing his ‘educated’ opinions for Salon while sipping coffee. He also is upset that there are so many “rapes” in the military, never ONCE connecting the dots between the liberal ideas of free sex, and a liberal military now filled with gays and women in combat with men.
David you see, can only think one thought at a time. I have no clue how he even shaves in the morning. (Or puts his earrings in.)
And then there’s our :”Commander-in-Chief,” the military genius of the century: Barack Hussein Obama. A man who single handily lost all the gains that our military had won in the Middle East, only to find out, that millions got slaughtered because he, like David, really doesn’t think military men are heroes at all. By his own stupidity, we are now in more danger than ever, so EVEN though Obama bragged about how he brought all the solders home, he is now sending them BACK to Iraq.
The air strikes have been very effective in degrading ISIL’s capabilities and slowing the advance that they were making,” Obama said. “Now what we need is ground troops, Iraqi ground troops, that can start pushing them back.”
Wow—what a waste of money and lives. And not just ours. Why didn’t you just LEAVE them there?
So, who wins the Nobody’s Perfect Award?
Is it David Masciotra, who instead of complaining about politicians (For it IS the politicians and Presidents who send our brave heroes overseas to their deaths.) is complaining that we are calling these men “heroes.” The man who sees no difference in a social worker and a soldier?
Just the fact that they are working under a President who endangers us all every day by his own stupidly, and they do it FOR the love of America, shows that David has been educated beyond his own intelligence.
Or is it our “President” who sacrifices lives, and billions of dollars in order to fit his own political successful image, an image he so wants to impress the David Masciotras of the world with? A man who has put us in more danger than all the Presidents before him?
That’s a no brainer.
Obama wins again! It not only takes a gene for stupidity to be this obnoxiously stupid, it takes real talent to be that dumb.
But let’s admit the obvious: Obama is man of rare intelligence—it just rare when he shows any.
Congratulations Comrade Obama, you win the Nobody’s Perfect Award for the week, AGAIN!
And just so you know David—- it’s not real smart to write an essay damning every vet and police man in America. Michael Brown, was a thug, and there are tons of Michael Browns out there, and someday you might get a thug like Michael Brown come up to you and start beating you up, and tearing your earrings out of your earlobes…and….
You don’t look too muscular.

Get Ready For Obama’s Fire

In life, and with politicians, timing is everything, and last night I saw this trailer, and it made me furious, as it did my husband.
To me, this is ultimate proof that Obama is trying to start a race war in this country. He inserted Holder into the Trayvon Martin trial. He inserted Holder into Ferguson. He sent Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton, and soon Harry Bellefonte and who knows who else will be landing here trying to stir up hatred. Obama WANTS rage, fires, and destruction here.
And not just here, all over the United States. By the way, if this was just another historical movie, it would be great, but you can see from the trailer, it’s not.
It’s hatred propaganda with a specific purpose…incite anger.
It’s more than ironic…rich blacks telling poor blacks that it’s the rich white folks who hate them. Burn baby burn. It’s not Obama who has let you down, black brother, it’s those mean Koch Brothers!
In the meantime, his Justice Department has ignored the rampages of black teens, killing, molesting, stealing, and attacking all over the country.
Do you even THINK that it will be mentioned in the movie that LBJ was a democrat? You can tell, by the trailer alone, that this movie was written for 2014. It has the same tone and words that Obama and Holder have used to dope the blacks into going out and attacking whites.
While the shop owners in Ferguson and around the city of St. Louis, are losing money—due to Obama’s racist hatred of the whites, both Oprah and Obama have no concern. They live in mansions that only blacks and whites can dream about.
Ben Stein was right: Obama is the most racist President we’ve EVER had. He makes LBJ look like a kitten.

He has already declared it. Fleas Navida! Now the black unemployment will go up to 50 percent, but don’t worry…all minorities will all get nice homes and nice cars because that’s the promise of HUD, if Congress does not stop it. Obama is fast on this:

(Would this mean you have no say in WHO you sell your house too? OR…everyone is entitled to a house no matter what?)
Under the proposed rule, the neighborhood data provided by HUD will be used to evaluate patterns of integration and segregation, racial and ethnic concentrations of poverty, such as zoning, financing, infrastructure planning and transportation — create, perpetuate or alleviate segregation.
(Translation: Somebody is going to design our neighborhoods and fill them with quota’s of different nations and cultures. Nobody asks WHY we need this because in my block alone, I can count—five families of Muslims, four families of Chinese, five families of black, and a few families of Bosnians, mixed among the whites. All we are missing are Indians. AND…will the rich behind the gated communities on Martha Vineyard have to abide by this rule of law?)
Wherever HUD points its finger near you, as an area of [politically-correct] interest — unless you are a developer who is politically-connected with the left and HUD and therefore likely to be part of HUD’s ambitions — the value of your property will likely decline. REIT’s and large real estate firms, basically take over the traditional real estate game of many individuals.
(Is that why my property taxes soared while my property value declined?)
Real Estate Investment Trusts who are bent on gaining from more and more dense apt. and condo developments, are for the rule; the destruction of your private dwelling / farm / ranch / business … property value is not their problem.

To my Nobody eyes, this social engineering has been going on for years. It’s one of the reasons we had the 2008 financial debacle.
Families who couldn’t afford big homes, were practically given them by our government—yes, the banks were forced by that lovable Barney the Gay.
This is new?
As most of you know, I don’t live too far from Ferguson, and according to everyone, it is about to explode, despite all the HUD housing that is there. All my life I have shopped regularly at the businesses there, mostly taking place on a main strip called West Florissant. I often visited the big strip mall, that had a Sam’s’ a Wal-Mart, Big Lots— Home Depot. And yes, I’m MAD that because of Obama, I can’t shop there anymore.
I can’t blame Obama for that thug called Mike Brown you might say? Yes I can.
What most of you may NOT know, is that the city of Ferguson is just one of many suburbs of North St. Louis, which is 60 percent black, and 40 percent white. What you see happening in Ferguson, are the welfare blacks. But, hop on the 270 highway, (where some poor guy was shot last week in the back while driving on the highway, just passing West Florissant) go West, and come over to just a street from my neighborhood, and you will see beautiful brand new subdivisions, which expand the area of a good five Fergusons, and where the houses START at $195,00 and go on up to $350,000.
These are the real HUD specials.
At least half of these homes belong to black families. I know. I walk those neighborhoods every single day. And the diversity has been there for quite some time. In my neighborhood, (Which is much older) it’s mostly older retired white folks, mixed in with the poorer black families, AND Muslims, AND Philippine’s, AND Chinese.
Growing up here, it was mainly white. Not anymore.
And yet, there ARE no jobs in St. Louis. Only teachers. Only government. Like Detroit, we now only have ‘service” jobs. Sure, Boeing is still here, but most of those people do NOT live in North County.
So, where ARE they getting all this money to pay for those giant houses?
You tell me. As far as I know, they all have government jobs, and Barney Frank specials.
But, here’s the dichotomy,…or should I say, bold face lie. There are sections of cities in St. Louis, that are filled with the poor blacks. But…more blacks have been fostered into the middle class than ever before…they are in many ways, surpassing the whites.
Now, that the blacks from the city have been redistributed into North Country, the city of St. Louis has lost it’s tax base. Now they want to merge all of St. Louis’ surrounding cities into one big lump and put every town under one roof. A real tower of Obama kabuki kabob.
Somewhere in some social engineering project, the elites thought that THIS was the way to go: FORCE a cultural mix of just about every kind of nation on the earth, and make sure they are all separate groups with nothing to bind them. Nobody has anything in common with anybody else, it makes for a fuse ready to be lit.
You have the tear the work up, before you replace it: And that’s exactly what Obama had in mind when he said this:
Yes, change America to the NEW WORLD ORDER, which looks pretty much like the old world order in Dr. Zhivago.

Here’s a little something I thought fascinating from this morning’s read. It’s from an interview with John Lear, who was the son of the inventor of the Lear Jet, a pilot and X-CIA agent himself, who was taken to Area 51 with a man called Bob Lazar some time ago, and shown proof of UFO’s. Bob was hired to reverse engineer a downed UFO years ago, and Lear explains the technology of the energy fuel used by “aliens” below in this passage:
Lear also said that Bob Lazar gave him detailed accounts and descriptions of the work he was doing at S-4. “He was trying to reverse engineer the same system that propelled these craft hundreds of thousands of light years away.” To illustrate how Lazar explained it to him, Lear displayed a model of the propulsion generating system the create used the Lazar worked on. He took the domed cap off the model to show what looked like an upside down water spigot. Inside the cap covering the spigot was a piece of fuel called element 115. “Bob said that we have five hundred pound of this stuff at Los Alamos, ” Lear revealed.
John explained that the generator shoots protons in the tip of the element 115 fuel source, bumping the 115 up to element 116, at which point, because it is highly unstable, it instantly decays, releasing enormous amounts of energy. This incredible release of energy, according to what Lazar told Lear, allows the craft to violate the conventional laws of physics and travel at unheard-of speeds. In harnessing the energy, the speed of the craft is actually an illusion, because the craft doesn’t move through space in conventional ways, as an aircraft does, but moves space through and around it.
“What they do, “Lear said, “Is to pull space around them and wrap it around them and that’s what allows them to travel so quickly across the vast distances of space. They are not traveling through space, but pulling it towards them. ” He also explained that in pulling space, slipping it around the craft like a stream, the propulsion system also warped time inside the slipstream itself. It would give the perception that time was standing still.
Many people think UFO’s are just silly topics, and others think they are real.
As for me, I’m open-minded about it all. EVIDENTLY, they have no clue how to make this 115, or they do know, and have no plans to disrupt Google’s Windmills.

Okay. These things happen. I need to take a few days off DUE to the fact that I sprained my right thumb, and don’t ask me how I did that…it’s too embarrassing. BUT..the swelling is severe enough that it hurts to type.
At least I didn’t get it punching out a wall or pole vaulting! 🙂
Right now, it’s ice and heat, and ice and heat…and the good news is, no broken fingers…just muscles that need to heal.

Mad Dogs Go Out in the Noonday Sun

Whenever an animal is cornered, that’s when they are the most vicious. After last night’s election, it was a wonderful thing, wasn’t it? We all knew deep in our hearts that the country was NOT embracing socialism, or communism, or dictators, like the liberals were all telling us day after day, and we all came out and said in one clear voice: “KNOCK IT OFF!”
The best part of the night? The sheer number of Republican wins. Not in sixty years has this happened.
The worst part of the night? The FOX news reporters making remarks that the REASON they won, was because they kept the “tea party” out of races. The fact is: The REASON they won is because the tea party, which to my mind is the majority of conservative Americans.(who are in mind with the tea party, just not actual members) want AMERICA to come first. We got that crap from Harry Reid, and it’s time they know that we don’t LIKE being told we should listen to Karl Rove and his band of progressive GOP brothers. They were smart enough to keep Karl Rove in the background last night, but it’s obvious that FOX is Bush’s channel, just as much as CNN is the progressive channel.
Every time I heard them say it, I got mad. 
Anyway. One step at a time, right?
Obama came out today, in true form, stood up, and basically said that 2/3rd’s of the people did not vote, and therefore those 2/3rds of Americans are for HIM, therefore, this election means nothing, because HIS people didn’t bother to vote. HIS people outnumber us, and HIS people just didn’t vote.
That’s his answer to the clear message that was sent.
And he had his usual threats: He will take executive actions if Congress doesn’t please him–especially with amnesty.
‘You send me a bill that I can sign and those executive actions go away.”
Cindy Crowley said this:
“We don’t know what he’s going to do executive order-wise on immigration, but if he makes a major move along the lines of what we’ve been hearing, which is to give some sort of status to keep millions in this country with some sort of special visa, that would be like just popping a grenade and throwing it in the middle of the Senate floor.”
On another note: While the rest of the country was turning red, here in St. Louis Country, where the infamous Ferguson riots still happen, everyone was hopeful for a new face…republican Rick Stream.. IN FACT, he had the support of many of the leaders of the black community: The Fannie Lou Hamer Coalition – a group of more than 30 African-American elected officials who feel disrespected by the Democratic Party – endorsed Republican Rick Stream today in the race for St. Louis County executive.
Round about 11pm everyone was ecstatic because it was announced that Rick’s lead was about 1500 votes.
This morning, we woke up to the announcement that no..actually the democrat Steve Stenger won by 1500 votes….and he was going to make sure that NEXT elections, those paper ballots that nobody thought were important enough to order, were going to be well stocked. Many people were, yes, turned away.
I’m not even wondering about this. It happened with John Ashcroft.
The democrats just fixed it, my guess is, because Obama NEEDS Ferguson. He is not finished with his race baiting yet….and a democrat HAD to get elected in Ferguson.
I’ll bet you the next Harry Reid’s majority lead in the Senate, that Stream won.

Scooby Dooby Doo…We’ve Got Some Work to Do Now….

It an exciting night for the Republicans, and Obama has already scheduled a get together at the White House for Friday…right now the first to get the good news out, was Twitchy: the Republicans control the Senate with the win in Iowa.
Obama is now alone in his castle. BUT… He plans to wine and dine them all on Friday, and then do whatever he wants. CNN has been broadcasting gloom and doom even in the beginning of the night..
The biggest joy will be seeing Harry Reid, retired from the chair…and hopefully dropped off the planet.
So far, Laura Ingram is giving the most sensible advise to the Republicans that I’ve heard. After this…the GOP should run on helping the middle class. At least what’s left of it.
There was still a lot of the usual mob tricks…in Cook County Illinois, judges were told to stay home. And here in St. Louis, they ran out of paper ballots, and they are keeping the voting spots open hours after they are supposed to close. It’s an old democratic trick…they rush out and bring in busloads of people out of nowhere.
Nobody can figure out WHY so many people wanted paper ballots! Why?

Last night, I was listening to an expert on elections, and her summation (she’s written books on this) is that there are districts where one person can be ‘bribed’ to fix the numbers, and she has personally found fraud in many states. One of the signs that your district is corrupt, is when they have to keep doing recounts. You can believe there is something wrong.
She also said that the politicians would like to get us all to vote by cell phone someday–which will have no transparency at all.
All in all…I’d say it was a successful night…and now, the fight just starts: .

Just a few days ago, at a campaign stump in New Hampshire, Hillary Clinton said this:
So what really, when you strip it all away, is the Republican agenda for the rest of this election?” she said. “It’s what it’s been from the beginning. It’s fear. It’s trying to instill fear. They’re staking everything on it. Fear is the last resort of those who have run out of ideas and run out of hope.”
Of course, that’s exactly what Robert Reich is doing in this video, he is using fear because the democratic party have no ideas. They have been in charge and the country is a mess.
Robert is trying to SCARE women to go vote against Republicans. He draws a poor little stick women, and says that Republicans have a war on women. Obama talked about it in the LAST election, then right after the election, that war disappeared…..notice that?
Women might have to go back to paying for their own abortions and contraceptives! The country will simply fall apart!
And that might be a real threat when you consider that..the democrats have destroyed private enterprise…and women without government jobs are doomed to poverty!
So, if you are not lucky enough to have a government job, your wages are barely enough to pay for that Apple 5 I Phone. This could get…scary.
Robert then goes to point two: Equal Pay. Every woman I know personally, makes just as much as a man, if not more. Hillary Clinton being an excellent example.
Can the lies get worse?
Yes they can! The poor women working at fast food restaurants won’t get that raise says Robert. Not that they need it, because most of them are getting food stamps, and other goodies. If the economy improved they could actually get better paying jobs! God forbid THAT happen.
What should women REALLY fear? Open borders that bring in thousands of new diseases like polio, TB, killer viruses like Ebola, and Obama has plunked these kids down in every state. YOUR kid could be next to get TB. That’s fear.
Open borders: Where ISIS can come into your town, set up camps, and Mosques and turn your city into a training camp waiting for the orders to destroy you. And your politicians, protect them, NOT you. In fact, they do this in every nation. What makes you think they will leave YOU alone? Do you really want your daughter to be submissive to Sharia Law someday?
Obamacare: You will no longer be able to afford care. Your deductable is about to skyrocket. Stock up on herbs, you won’t be able to get sick. If you think free birth control pills cost a lot, wait until you have to pay for your kid’s broken bone.
Illegal’s will get discounts into the local college, you will have to pay full price.
Want a husband? Tough. Men are the new enemy, and Obama is your daddy. Have sex, not love, that’s their plans for you. No love. No help. Just sex, and abortions. Sounds fantastic? Hey, vote democrat. It’s your choice.
You have to wonder why the REAL fears of our economy being destroyed by democrats are just “fear mongering”—- but the rather petty and minor fear of making some man use a condom, is not.
Oh…democratic men must not want to wear condoms. I get it now.

Nobody’s Perfect: Antares VS SpaceShip Two
Nobody’s Perfect 
Last week, America had not one, but TWO space crashes. Ever since Obama decided to end our space exploration and announce we were going to Mars, American’s lead in space was basically put into the never-never-land Obama bunker. We couldn’t figure out how he was going to go to Mars without NASA, but then, Obama NEVER fills in the details to any of his plans.
Hearing the news that NASA was closing down, it took Richard Branson no longer than a few plane trips to Dubai to get the backing to build his vision of sending rich people into space on his SpaceShipTwo, by next year, which is now going to be delayed.
Yep. We had two big black-eyed, oh THAT’s not good, disasters last week. Two…”Not so perfect” launches by America: Virgin Galactic VS NASA.
Which one was the bigger mistake?
Let’s start with NASA first. When you fire thousands of engineers and put astronauts out to pasture, it’s not always going to go well, and last week the whole world saw that America, couldn’t even get a bunch of crab cakes off the ground.
The Orbital Antares rocket that exploded during a launce at the NASA facility in Virginia costs more than $200 million itself. NASA has also reported significant ground damage at its facility. (Not to mention, what the repairs will cost.)
The accident at Orbital Sciences Corp.’s launch complex at Wallops Island was sure to draw criticism over the space agency’s growing reliance on private U.S. companies in this post-shuttle era. NASA is paying billions of dollars to Orbital Sciences and the SpaceX company to make station deliveries, and it’s counting on SpaceX and Boeing to start flying U.S. astronauts to the orbiting lab as early as 2017. This was the fourth flight by Orbital Sciences to the orbiting lab.
The poor astronauts waiting for their crab cakes, would just have to suffer.
THEN Richard Branson’s test flight of his Virgin Galactic Disney-like ride into space….crashed horribly, leaving the pilot dead, his wife widowed, his little children fatherless,—-well, you can imagine what YOU would be thinking if you were one of the 800 who had already forked out big bucks to go on that very same rocket. (I’m betting Justin Beiber is having second thoughts.)
What went wrong?
Since April 2009, Virgin Galactic had used a hybrid rocket motor built by Sierra Nevada Corp., a Sparks, Nev., company that has contracts with the U.S. military, NASA and commercial space firms. The engine, fueled by nitrous oxide and a rubber compound, had been fired in flight and on the ground about 50 times. SpaceShipTwo had three successful test flights powered by the Sierra Nevada-built engine.
However, in May, Virgin Galactic announced it was switching to an alternate plastic-based rocket fuel. It is not clear when testing began, but Scaled Composites said on its website that there have been 10 test fires since May.
Can we blame Al Gore for plastic fuel? Well, I can.
Richard Branson’s loss was about $150 million he says, but is it his loss?
So, Branson’s gotten investors and taxpayers to pony up just short of $600 million to make his dream of flying into space a reality. Since the Virgin Group is so opaque on its finances, precisely how much Branson and his company have put in is difficult to say. However, thanks to statements by Virgin Galactic officials, we do a bit more about the cost side. We know that, as of October, that roughly $270 million has been spent on the program. And the most recent estimate on cost, as of about 10 months ago, was roughly $400 million. Now, let’s see how this stacks up against known investments not funded by taxpayers…. Aabar Investments: $290 million + $110 million = $390 million WOW! That’s like really close. The Abu Dhabi royal family’s investment covers virtually the entire estimated development cost. And for that, they own only 37.8 percent of the company.
Not to mention, the tickets are already sold at $250,000 a piece, for a trip that will only last two hours, and actual time in space will be about five minutes. Each trip will to have a six tourists and the pilot and co-pilot, but you can BET that the waitresses at the port station before the trip are going to serve you wonderful drinks in their sexy out-of-this-world costumes before your flight. Who wouldn’t want to go?
(Me) Myself, I’d just go see the movie Gravity again.
So, who wins the Nobody’s Perfect Award for the week?
Was it NASA? While they didn’t KILL anyone, you would think after sending men to the moon, a simple rocket to the space station would have been already old hat. AND…they have NO idea they say, what went wrong. In the old days, they said right away.

Or was it Richard Branson, who while risking millions of dollars from taxpayers and Saudi Kings, should have gotten engineers that weren’t drinking champagne with Al Gore at global warming conventions?
I’m having trouble with this one. To my mind, the space shuttle design seemed to work fine. If they had wanted to give tourist rides to billionaires they would have gotten a MUCH safer trip to a well designed space hotel and charged a lot more. But then again, when America owns the space shuttles, rich men can’t own stocks, can they?
Who wins? Obama. Next load— he’ll probably just send food stamps by balloon.
Let’s send him BACK to Mars, and get our Space Program back up and running, if not, those billionaires will be paying 20 times the price to go into space–to Russia. And who wants to see that happen?
