All day long…we saw the shot of the White House, where all us nobodies were made to anticipate the meeting that John Boehner had with Obama, Reid, and Nancy Pelosi, to end the government shut-down.
If you had your TV on all day like I did.
When John finally came out to the microphones, it was dark. He said, “They won’t deal.” Very short. But Nobody Thinks he must have done some damage because, Nancy and Harry just wouldn’t shut up. It was hard to decipher the almost senile banter, but the one thing you knew: They outdid themselves with unbelievable lies.
Funny: Three millionaires who have voted themselves continuing salaries during the shutdown, millionaires that don’t need a salary but voted themselves one anyway, were acting like they ‘cared.’
I thought the fact that Harry and Nancy wouldn’t shut up, was a good sign that they thought they were losing. I’m sure John was pissed that Harry leaked some of his emails.
As I watched the reprehensible blathering of Nancy and Harry…I was thinking about evolution.
Yes…how far have we come?
For instance: Take my two dogs: Zippy and Koko. Every morning Zippy and Koko get two big treat biscuits and a handful of little ones. No sooner do I place them down, Zippy will get up from her treats and try to STEAL Koko’s treats. She must have them all. Being the stronger of the two, it’s as natural to her as sleeping. Koko would NOT survive if I wasn’t there to hand feed her, because Zippy keeps her away from both bowls of food.
It may seem too simple, but I’d say on the evolutionary moral scale of things, we aren’t much more advanced than dogs. The people at the top…hog it all. They just can’t help themselves. Forget about the people who work hard and earn their own money, I’m talking about the ones who STEAL money away from those less powerful. I’m talking about our Congress. Did you know that Nancy is worth over $100 million? In fact, there are 257 millionaires in Congress, but no WAY are they going to give up their salaries!
They are worse than dogs. Dogs are at least loyal to their masters. And WE are their masters.
Where’s the loyalty?
As you know, last week I was reading about Jamestown, and this evolutionally trait was reported there too.
History tells us that the people in Jamestown (American’s first colony) starved…but do you know why? We’ve all heard Rush Limbaugh Thanksgiving story, but there’s more to it.
Once the ship left, that’s when their troubles really began…in his own words, listen to a man who was there:

So, nothing surprising here. The big millionaires in office, continue to protect themselves, taking from the poor guy who gets hit every day with more taxes, and less pay, just to make sure that the apparatuses they have set up, between Wall Street, Big Business, and Government, stays intact.
If you look at human history: We are no better than dogs when it comes to greed.
Harry , did get say something right though, some time ago—he said this:
“Millionaire job creators are like unicorns,” Reid said Monday. “They’re impossible to find, and they don’t exist.”
Harry was obviously talking about his millionaire self. The last time Harry created a job for anybody was …
Never.
So what happened in Jamestown? They got rid of the guy.
“We deposed him.”

Are You Signing Up For MORE Pain?

A man reported that he went to sign up to Obamacare, got online, filled out all of the information about himself (which you HAVE to do to even see the plans) decided it costs too much, got off, and then he got an email:
“I received an email tonight at 5:00 P.M. informing me that my fine would be $4,037 and could be attached to my yearly income tax return. Then you make it to the “REPERCUSSIONS PORTION” for “non-payment” of yearly fine. First, your driver’s license will be suspended until paid, and if you go 24 consecutive months with “Non-Payment” and you happen to be a home owner, you will have a federal tax lien placed on your home. You can agree to give your bank information so that they can easy “Automatically withdraw” your “penalties” weekly, bi-weekly or monthly! This by no means is “Free” or even “Affordable.”
Nobody Wonders…why hasn’t anybody mentioned this?
According to the dems who set this up, that’s not going to happen:
“There’s no criminal sanctions for not paying this, and there’s no ability to levy a bank account or do seizures,” then-IRS commissioner Douglas Shulman said in April 2010.
Yes, and Obama said we could keep our doctors, and it would save everybody money! Even pay off the deficit! Nobody Wonders just WHO is telling the truth?
It’s no wonder they want everyone to get online and apply. They will have all they need to know to extort money from your salary or bank account under the law.
So…beware: If you even go on this online Obamacare sign-up, it could cost you a lot of money.
Obama REALLY cares.
You know who is really going to make money off of this? Thailand. The doctors are already waiting.
Someday, You will need ‘permisson’ to get into D.C.

When did the ‘government’ get to say when an American, can walk on grass, and look at a memorial? You and I pay for those parks. So what if some park ranger is not there? If you fall and break your hip, dial 911. 
Shamefully, Obama had the WWII veterans memorial taped off today. Michelle Bachmann ran down to let them all in. Rush Limbaugh said that some old vets just went under the tape.
Good for them.
I think people should just start doing it. Most of these places are just statues. Did they close down the Vietnam memorial too?
Is this NOT ridiculous?
Frankly, I think that our National Parks belong to the people. If we want to go walking around in the Grand Canyon, or Yosemite, or any old damn park in America, it should be our right to do so. After all…WE PAID FOR IT!
After all, if they can let give illegal aliens drivers licenses still, and welfare, and medical care, we the citizens should be able to walk any where we want to in a National Park. We shouldn’t HAVE to apply for ‘permission.”
Nobody can see the reasoning behind this insanity.
Someday, you will need a ‘special permit’ just to get INTO Washington D.C. And that’s not too far off. Remember I predicted this when it happens.

I’m doing my Friday history blog due to the fact that I just listened to Obama give his—“A faction in the House wants to shut the government down.” speech in the Rose Garden just a few minutes ago. As I thought of Obama’s extreme vilification of Ted Cruz and those who support him, I immediately was reminded of another fight in Congress…done basically by one man alone in the House, quite some time ago. A man who had already been President. A man, that literally changed history.
And he fought against, The GAG rule In the year 1835, the American Anti-Slavery Society started flooding the Congress with anti-slavery petitions, which enraged the Southern congressmen (who were democrats) because they wanted to protect the institution of slavery. John Quincy Adams wrote to his son Charles Francis:
“The voice of Freedom has not yet been heard, and I am earnestly urged to speak in her name. She will be trampled underfoot if I do not, and I shall be trampled underfoot if I do…What can I do? I have taken my glove in the House. They hunt me like a Partridge upon the mountain. Well…be it so. I am aware my severest trials are yet to come.”
What he fought, was the gagging of any anti- slavery petitions to be read by Congress. They just were not going to even talk about slavery. Period. (Sound familiar?) In other words, “it’s the law of the land.”
Congress set up a 9 member committee (with slavery owner southerners in control) to address the many anti-slavery petitions, and decided they were taking up too much time. At the same time, American settlers in Mexico express prohibition against slavery were ignored by the settlers who bought their own slaves to Texas. Adams, was afraid Texas would become another slave state.
Adams gave a speech on the floor of the house against the annexation of Texas ON the fact that it would include more slaves. He was met, by his own words with. “echoes of thundering vituperation from the South and West, and with one universal about of applause from the North and East. ”
Yes, JQA was one of those radical factions. Tea party patriots. Thank God that he was. But he paid a high price…for the next ten years he would fight almost alone.
Now…just like today, Adams was hated in his own party, The House Speaker at the time was James K. Polk (future President from Tennessee) and James repeatedly denied Adams access to the floor. He claimed that slavery was a state’s right, and Congress had no business messing with it. This began years and years of John Adams saying, “Am I gagged?” every time he slammed the petitions down on the floor podium. To shut him up, Congress passed the Gag rule, which meant they just wouldn’t discuss it. (Just as Obamacare was ‘passed’ And we are told now, there will BE no discussion. ) John Quincy said this:
“I hold the resolution to be a direct violation of the Constitution of the United States, the rules of this House, and the right of my constituents”
——and sat down amid thunderous cries of “ORDER!” The whole house went in uproar and the clerk didn’t even record Adams remark. Later Adams demanded it be reported in the official journal that he voted no. It was approved, 117-68.
The House did not removed the gag rule (to keep the subject of slavery out of discussion) until 1840, and then it prohibited even RECEIVING petitions.
John Quincy NEVER gave up. He cited the 1st amendment:
“The right of petition is essential to the very existence of government: it is the right of the people over the Government: it is their right, and they may not be deprived of it. “
Adams had full hatred and vile attacks every single day in Congress, for years and years…when he would march up to the podium and slam down his petition to get rid of the gag rule. Sarah Palin’s attacks were mild compared to what JQA got —–He was really hated.
One historian, Bennett Champ Clark, said that “No contest in America public life ever exceeded in ferocity the long fight for the right of petition which John Quincy Adams waged from 1836 to 1844”.
So…ONE man fought for years in Congress…hated by the people he worked with, hated by half the country, for the right to end slavery. For the right of free speech. For our Constitutional right for the people to be heard. It’s an inspiration we should remember.
Obama said today in his speech that NOBODY HAS DIED FROM DEATH PANELS! That’s because, today is the first day of it’s implementation.
Obamacare is a holocaust waiting to happen. It will kill millions. Hospitals will close. Care will be denied. Men and woman will lose jobs. And it will make slaves of all who do not belong to the rich and connected. In that respect alone, it’s unconstitutional.
So Mr. Cruz, remember that. long ago, another great man stood alone, and fought for the rights of his people, and he fought for years. There is no statue anywhere for his efforts. No great monuments to applaud the lone soldier of freedom. Nope, our increasingly tyrannical government doesn’t want you to remember the only founder, who fought for the slaves freedom. He just wasn’t a very pleasant fellow.
Today I just heard Brit Hume say that the Republican’s tea party are not standing on principle.
What—– Baloney.
Obamacare IS unconstitutional. That’s a fact. No matter what the corrupt John Roberts says. Some things…never change.
I changed the channel, cussed him out, and remembered….what one man can do, when he stands on principle alone.

This week, it was pretty easy to find two very prominent replicas of imperfection: First Up: Obama and his Gestapo of democratic reprehensible political busboys in the Senate: 
For a whole week we have heard nothing but lies and bullying from Obama and his parody of a circus clown, Harry Reid— insulting, and refusing to even listen to anyone who wants to help America fix the horrible nightmare called Obamacare. In fact, Obama just keeps insulting those “right-wing radicals.” who want to throw it out. Obama said this:
Newsmax: Saying a government shutdown would have a “very real economic impact on real people,” President Barack Obama said in a White House statement before the press on Monday that the Republican Party shouldn’t bring the “entire economy” to a halt just because it didn’t like the outcome of an election.
Yes, Obama said that Obamacare would have a “very real economic impact on real people.” Wait…he didn’t? Saying the entire economy is going to shut down because of the Republicans is like telling your kid that he will never eat ice cream again if he doesn’t eat his black-eyed peas. Not only are these democratic politicians, bloodsucking, whining, sniveling liars—they are getting really boring. The only people that will suffer will be the little guy….all us nobodies. Not only is Congress exempt from Obamacare and all their friends and donors—-so are most of the government workers.
From Drudge: The federal government shutdown will temporarily cut off pay of thousands of Uncle Sam’s workers, but for those considered “excepted employees,” there could be a nice salary bump thanks to rules allowing overtime, compensatory time and other benefits provided to those the administration feels too important to furlough.
So, many of Obama’s chosen ones will make double the money! Imagine that? NEXT: SEX on the Tracks. While America is being put through hell, one can only imagine what kind of day the two victims in the Ukraine had last Saturday. They both got so drunk, on the way home from their night out, they decided to have sex on the railroad tracks…and well…it must have been really GOOD sex because neither of them noticed the train coming.
The ministry cited the surviving victim, who said that he and his girlfriend “failed to overcome their natural passion when walking home… and wanted to experience an extreme sensation near the railroad tracks.”
And so they did!—-(experience extreme sensation) The girl..sensation was so extreme…she didn’t live to tell us all about it. The man..lost both legs. Because of that, I predict many more will try this just to say THEY survived! So, who wins the Nobody’s Perfect award for the week?
The man who’s signature accomplishment is that train wreck called Obamacare.

For a good Ho -Ho-Ho, the scare and fear Obama butt-boys are coming out in droves. You have to admit, the democrats stick together, stick to talking points, and love to use any kind of extortion to further their own sweet piece of the pie.
Take for instance, a piece in the New York Times this morning by Paul Krugman called “Rebels Without a Clue:
First of all, hitting the ceiling would force a huge, immediate spending cut, almost surely pushing America back into recession. Beyond that, failure to raise the ceiling would mean missed payments on existing U.S. government debt. And that might have terrifying consequences
Back into recession? BACK into recession? When did we come OUT of it? Bacon went from $3.50 to $9.00 in my neighborhood, and I’ve noticed that you pay the same for a bacon cheeseburger at McDonalds, so…I suppose the big companies and the Washington bullyboys are doing swell…since 2008. I want to know where THEY shop.
As for hitting the debt ceiling, we did that months ago…they just stopped counting. Did the world blow up? Did I miss that?
We have heard that Obama is collecting more in taxes than they ever have collected in history. If he can’t pay our debtors, the fault is his. Making us feel sorry about them having to lay off 180 people at the White House, really doesn’t make me feel too sorry about it. Let Michelle cook in the kitchen like the rest of us.
It’s not OUR house anymore anyway, we’ve been banned. By the way, why in the world would you need 180 people to take care of a house? Does Obama have a hidden brothel in the basement?
No sane political system would run this kind of risk. But we don’t have a sane political system; we have a system in which a substantial number of Republicans believe that they can force President Obama to cancel health reform by threatening a government shutdown, a debt default, or both, and in which Republican leaders who know better are afraid to level with the party’s delusional wing. For they are delusional, about both the economics and the politics.
Name calling works: We are delusional. We are terrorists. We are….child killers. We are…stupid if we don’t think that Paul Krugman spends his nights drinking at cocktail parties in Chevy Chase, and getting excited if Pelosi winks at him while sucking on a strawberry.
On the economics: Republican radicals generally reject the scientific consensus on climate change; many of them reject the theory of evolution, too. So why expect them to believe expert warnings about the dangers of default?
No…even IF it was true, (which it isn’t) we don’t feel that more money should go to Al Gore and the democrats who obviously are jealous that the republicans have more big ties to oil. If Al Gore gets his way, we’d all have to use the National Review as toilet paper. It’s all about money and power and …a lot of BS. But then, Paul hasn’t figured that out yet. Maybe we should remember his deficits of reasoning, is NOT his fault.
Meanwhile, on the politics, reasonable people know that Mr. Obama can’t and won’t let himself be blackmailed in this way, and not just because health reform is his key policy legacy. After all, once he starts making concessions to people who threaten to blow up the world economy unless they get what they want, he might as well tear up the Constitution. But what if even the plutocrats lack the power to rein in the radicals? In that case, Mr. Obama will either let default happen or find some way of defying the blackmailers, trading a financial crisis for a constitutional crisis.
Obama has already torn up the Constitution! And gee Mr. Krugcaveman, are you not a ‘plutocrat’ also?
All fun aside, I don’t like the ending of this: Will Obama come out and claim a “Constitutional Crisis” and therefore try to call a Constitutional Convention, in order to make the Presidency more like a Mao dictatorship?
Is THAT the final goal here? Jeffery Immelt would LOVE it.
What is bothering Paul is that there are so many rebels now who do have a clue. The American giant is waking up.
And Paul just gave us the biggest clue, that he’s an idiot. All he has to do is—– keep writing.

Bill Clinton was interviews by his former adviser George Stephanopoulos yesterday on his show.. I was counting lies:
LIE 1— Wow. Listen to this double-talk. Bill Clinton says “YOU voted to spend this money.” This is a BIG lie. He is talking about the Republicans…but not one Republican voted for Obamacare. It was the Democratic Senate, that passed it in the middle of the night, and nobody had even read it. (They just wanted you to think they didn’t know what was in it.) Then he goes on of course to complain about the way our Congress works. Clinton and Obama want the executive branch to have more power. Of course other nations don’t have to go through this. Only our Constitution protects the minority votes, because we are a Republic, NOT a democracy.
We do not have majority rules. But that’s what the democrats keep telling the American people that we do have. And so many don’t know the difference.
LIE 2: —When Bill Clinton was negotiating with Congress, he was riding on a wave of economic fortunes, due to the dotcom companies, and the fact that the Congress FORCED Bill to reform welfare. He put up a fight three times, but when he thought he wasn’t going to be reelected, he caved in and negotiated. (Later he claimed it was his idea) Obama got rid of the “welfare to work” programs. Clinton went to the middle. And here he rewrites history and acts like it was the Republicans that were begging HIM. That’s a really big whopper. For the first time in over 50 years, we had a complete Republican Congress. He was outnumbered.
LIE 3: —Bill says the Republicans are going to take food off the table of children and give big money to the big agricultural farms. Gee…Obama gave all the big corporations wavers to Obamacare, but the little guy will have to pay big taxes, and work fewer hours, and lose his job, and have less money to feed his kids with, with Obamacare.
It’s a typical Democratic argument they use as much as the race card, and it’s a lie. Obamacare will kill the whole economy, it already is doing so.
Lie 4:— The Tea party wants to dictate to the Senate and the President what they can do. Rand Paul addressed this big lie today: Notice how cleverly Bill does this. He knows the house represents the people. And that’s why our founders gave us three branches of government as checks and balances. If anyone is the dictator here, it’s Obama. As Paul said, it’s his way or the highway. Obama has refused to negotiate. In America, it’s the people who should rule —–NOT the President. If we don’t like a law, we should get rid of it. It’s our RIGHT. But Bill, has got his game on. Notice how his eyes get really big. Because he’s an actor. Big lie. Big eyes. Really dramatic.
Lie 5: Ted Cruz’s filibuster was all lies. The reality is, Ted Cruz was telling the truth, and it’s the “I didn’t have sex with that woman..Lewinsky” that you should recall here. Bill Clinton is one of the biggest liars in history. Now we have Obama. Remember, Bill lies. A lot. Under oath. Everywhere he goes. He’s the master at it. More Republican should bring this up.
Lie 6: Oh…this is a very BIG lie. The tea party wants to change the way the Constitution works, and alter the future of our country. It’s Bill Clinton and Obama, and Obamacare which will take us into tyranny. The tea party lives for the Constitution. Bill and Obama are ‘progressives” which is a nice word for tyrants.
Now…this next clip is more fun: Clinton sort of loses it here. When asks about Hillary’s loss to Obama in the last Presidential election, he is basically saying that Hilary needs “reverse plastic surgery” and she lost because she didn’t present her true self, and it was her first campaign. If you watch this more than once, you get the feeling (As I did when she ran last time) that deep down inside, Bill really doesn’t believe she can do it. Any of it. Who know who they both sleep with at night, but one thing we do know–it’s not with each other.
And that’s ANOTHER big lie.
If you happen to see Bill Clinton at any time, anywhere…take my advice: run for you life.

Nobody’s Email: Marine Saves 100 Lives in Kenya Mall
Nobody Gets Email;
The gracious amfortas sent me this from Australia. The news is, one of our Marines saved over 100 lives in Kenya at that mall bombing. And I swear to god, nowhere have I heard this reported on any news outlet. All we are hearing is that when the evil Republicans shut down the government the FIRST people who Obama is going to punish is our military, who will NOT get paid, but will have to keep on working.
Miss Lerner of the IRS, WILL get paid, even though she costs good decent Americans a lot of money. And all of Congress will still get paid. And their wives. And the NSA. And the TSA. And the teachers. But all the parks will be closed because they don’t want you on them anyway. (unless of course you are an illegal growing pot.)
What I did hear last night, is that “President” Obama has declared November to be Muslim month, where we should all recognize Islam and Muslims as wonderful people.
American soldiers are the best. And yet, Obama ignores their heroics unless of course, he benefits from their actions.

A former marine emerged as a hero of the Nairobi siege yesterday after he was credited with saving up to 100 lives.
The ex soldier was having coffee at the Westgate mall when it was attacked by Islamists on Saturday.
With a gun tucked into his waistband, he was pictured helping two women from the complex.
His story emerged as sporadic gunfire continued to ring out from inside the mall early today as Kenyan security forces battled Al Qaeda-linked terrorists into a fourth
day.
Despite Kenyan police assurances that they had taken control of the building, a security expert with contacts inside the mall said at least 10 hostages were still being held by a band of attackers, possibly as many as 13.
The former soldier is said to have returned to the building on a dozen occasions, despite intense gunfire.
A friend in Nairobi said: ‘What he did was so heroic. He was having coffee with friends when it happened.
‘He went back in 12 times and saved 100 people. Imagine going back in when you knew what was going on inside.’

A REAL Pope of God Would Ex-communicate Nancy Pelosi

Nobody Cares that O.J. Simpson got caught stealing oatmeal cookies while serving his sentence for armed robbery, but finally—-, SOMEBODY in the Catholic church cared that Nancy Pelosi should be denied Communion, for being such a ‘sinner.’ Nobody Thinks that she should be excommunicated from the Catholic church, but that’s me.
Yes, the good Cardinal Burke (who was from St. Louis) has reprimanded Nancy’s hypocrisy, being as she is one of the biggest proponents of abortion in the country.
Because of her longstanding support for abortion, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), a Catholic, must be denied Communion under the law of the Catholic Church, said Cardinal Raymond Burke, head of the highest court at the Vatican.
Cardinal Burke referenced his remarks about Pelosi to Canon Law–the law governing the Catholic Church–and specifically Canon 915, which says those Catholics who obstinately persevere “in manifest grave sin are not to be admitted to Holy Communion.”
When asked about her continuing stance on abortion, which is against all that Catholics believe she says this:
“As a practicing and respectful Catholic, this is sacred ground to me when we talk about this. I don’t think it should have anything to do with politics, and that’s where you’re taking it and I’m not going there.”
Typical. When a liberal doesn’t want to answer a question: they just don’t.
Nobody Cares in the democratic party that Nancy is a hypocrite. She helped passed Obamacare which in fact, will kill provide more abortions because everyone is going to be required to pay for them. But it’s about time the Catholic church cleaned up its act.
Now…Mr. Pope, the balls in your court. You welcomed Joe Biden and Nancy to your coming out party…are you going to start standing for the Catholic Church’s dogma?
Or are you just going to send out your cardinals to do your dirty work?

I was reading today that the richest man in congress is Darrel Issa. Issa reportedly has a net worth of $355.38 million. How did he get so rich? Wall Street. But I happen to like Darrel. And I bet if he had lived back in 19th century England, he might have been one of the investors who put their money in the London Company, which founded the first permanent English colony in America: Jamestown.
In 1609, a few very rich men in London, just got together, formed a company, and simply——gave themselves some land!
“Our license to make habitation, plantation, and to deduce a colony of sundry of Our people into that part of America commonly called Virginia, and other parts and territories in America, either appertaining unto US, or which are not now actually possessed by an Christian price of people, lying and being all along the seacoast between 34 degrees of northerly latitude from the equinoctial line, and 45 degrees of the same latitude and in the mainland between the same and the islands thereunto adjacent or within 100 miles of the coast thereof.”
Evidently, they felt free to claim land to be theirs, because there were no Christians living on it. And they also had good intentions:
“We, greatly commending and graciously accepting of, their desires for the furtherance of so noble a work, which may, by the providence of Almighty God, hereafter tend to the glory of His Divine Majesty, in propagating of Christian religion to such people as yet live in darkness and miserable ignorance of the true knowledge and worship of God, and my in time bring the infidels and savages living in those parts to human civility and to a settled and quiet government. “
Tell me? Doesn’t this sound like the same doctrine that the Muslims practice now? The Muslims have always gobbled up lands with the very same reasoning’s: Everyone who is not a Muslim is an infidel. They made the churches into Mosques in every town they “took” over.
And yes, the English “took over” America.
It’s always nice to use religion as an excuse to take land isn’t it? Once “god” gave them the idea in the old testament, no man on earth could refuse to use it as a logical reason to steal.
(Boy, I could really get into THIS stuff couldn’t I? LOL!)
The very rich lords of the London company didn’t stop there: they GAVE rights to everybody to just about everything:
“all the lands, soils, grounds, havens, ports, rivers, mines, minerals, woods, waters, marshes, fishing’s, commodities, and …..”
Lawyers have not changed, have they? And the lawyers said that each colony should have a counsel of 13, who would answer to a colony of 13 in London. And everybody could have a merry old time, mining and fishing, as long as they paid their…tax..or due. The rich men expected their “investment” to send profits:
“Yielding therefore to Us, Our Heirs, and Successors, the fifth part only of all the same gold and silver, and the fifteenth part of all the same copper so to be gotten or had, as is aforesaid, without any other manner of profit or account to be given or yielded to Us.”
Wow…only a fifth? We pay half our paycheck to taxes. But these rich guys added one more very important thing to the Charter, probably the most important.
“Our subjects, which shall dwell and inhabit within every or any of the said several colonies and plantations, and every of their children which shall happen to be born within any of the limits and precincts of the said several colonies and plantations, shall have and enjoy all liberties, franchises, and immunities, within any of our other dominions, to all intent and purposes as if they had been abiding and born, within this Our Realm of England , or any of Our said dominions.
So it was in the First Charter of Virginia, in a town named after the King of England, that the citizens were granted the very same rights of the mother country.
This was in 1606. By 1776, we were fighting with the mother country for the same rights promised in the first Charter of Virginia. Somewhere the “we just want a fifth” became, “we want to tax paper, tea, and you can’t own land, or do anything on that land…”
The rich men of London company were pretty nice guys, and they started a great migration by investing their own money.
So, that brings us back to the rich men in our Congress…
Where do THEIR investments go? And why do they not give us, their ‘subjects’ the same liberties as we had in the First Charter of Virginia?
And shouldn’t it be about time they start investing in colonies on the Moon?
What? You say there are no savages there? What? No fun?
Nobody’s Fool: Senator Ted Cruz
Nobody’s Fool
Clearly, the Nobody’s Fool award this week goes to Ted Cruz, who stood up in the Senate for 21 hours and pleaded for his fellow Republicans to stand with him in stopping a law that was passed without the consent of the American people no matter what the liberals say. Most of Congress admitted they had never read it. And everyone is really suffering from it, already.
Ted is not only articulate, he is smart and clearly, a great American patriot.
Hopefully, Ted can keep up the fight for all of the average American Joes, who are getting no representation from most of Congress. In a sea of depressing daily news, Ted is a great beam of hope.

I am a nobody. If the different classes of America were color-coded, I would be in the yucky brown, one rung up from the bottom. I grew up in Naples, Florida and live near the Mississippi River now with my husband and two dogs. I am part of the slowly disappearing middle-class.
