Watch, Look, and Wonder…What Kind of Parents Raised These Kids?

Nobody Wonders

I just got this video off Glenn Beck’s site. I found it hard to watch, and even harder not to want to call up the middle school in New York where this took place, and complain.

The abuse that this woman took from these morons makes you wonder just how badly does she need the money? I also wonder, if these kids got expelled for this video, but I doubt it.

If that was my kid, he or she would be mowing that lady’s lawn and sending her flowers of apology every week, until he or she was out of high school.

Watch, and try not to weep. Oh…and thanks Michelle Obama, for making “fat” so unpopular…it seems your message is getting across just fine.

Warning: very foul language.

Nobody’s Fool: David Horowitz

Nobody’s Fool: David Horowitz

Whenever I hear one of my friends say they “voted” for Obama, I can’t for the life of me figure out that they didn’t see that he was….trouble. Once in power, he has revealed, from his own lips, his Marxists tendencies. He hides his ties with leftist/Marxist buddies, but he still has them all over his administration. So I realized the reason my friends voted for Obama is because they have never really learned the real difference between a democracy, a Republic, communism, socialism, Marxism or fascism.

Oh sure, they’ve heard the words…but I’m sure none of them ever believed in a million years any of that could happen in America. They believe everything they pretty much hear on TV.

That ignorance has been by design.

In our American school systems, conversations comparing different political systems is as rare as an elephant on the moon riding a bike. But…David Horowitz, a former communist, is Nobody’s Fool. He has been fighting this war on progressives at the university level. And he is a fierce fighter, because if anybody knows a communist, it’s David, and he is out to inform everyone who will listen.
*****

His parents were communists, whose self-stated goal is combating “leftist indoctrination” in academia. Phil and Blanche Horowitz were long-standing members of the American Communist Party and avid supporters of Joseph Stalin. For nearly a decade, Horowitz’s rejection of Marx remained a private matter. In the spring of 1985, however, Horowitz and longtime collaborator Peter Collier wrote an article for the Washington Post entitled, Goodbye to All That. The article explained their change of views and recent decision to vote for President Ronald Reagan (Wikipedia)

Yes, David saw the light! Hallelujah!

Nobody Thinks it’s important to realize (and also scary) that the communists here (who had plans of infiltrating and taking over America’s institutions) had to not call attention to themselves, so they made the word “progressive” an accepted American euphemism for socialism and Marxism. They had to get in ‘power’ and well, telling everyone in America what you REALLY believe in would not get them there. (Read Shadow World by Robert Chandler) And progressives are all about ‘social justice” aren’t they now? Pelosi, Hillary, Obama, Holder….and half our Congress.

Nobody explains why ‘social justice’ is not what we want better than David:

Far from being progressive, the left’s demands for ‘social justice’, if realized, would destroy the very basis of social wealth…In the modern world, competition is not the contrary of cooperation, but the form that cooperation must take in order to coordinate the activities of millions of people unknown to each other, pursuing goals that are not common and cannot be shared. The profit margin is the engine of wealth not only for the rich but for the poor was well. In the real world, the attempt to plan economic systems produces inefficiency and waste: the attempt to redistribute wealth diminishes well being and individual liberty: the attempt to unify society crushes its freedom: the ambition to make people equal establishes new forms of tyranny and submerges human individuality in totalitarian designs.

Yes, the progressives are really Marxists in disguise. Hard to believe, I know, because Hillary Clinton says she is a proud progressive…and we also have a bucket load of them in Congress, which Allen West pointed out.

To which Bill Clinton came out right away to nip that in the bud. How DARE he even suggest it! The last thing the progressives want the Americans to know in an election year, is that they believe in the Marxists redistribution/communist party that founded them. So..watch Bill as he protests too much…And you will realize, why many of my friends will vote for Obama…again…(sigh) Nobody Thinks, we need more Davids.

NO…these are NOT the droids you are looking for…

Will Muslims Be The Future Teachers of America?

Nobody Wins

Teach, Your Children Well. Their father’s Hell, did slowly go by. And feed them on your dreams, the ones they picked, the ones you’ll know by. Don’t you  ever ask them why, If they told you, you would cry, so just look at them and  sigh and know the love you.” ….Crosby, Stills, and Nash.
****
You know what is missing from this Presidential election? Neither Mitt nor Obama is talking about ‘improving education. Oh sure—Obama is harping about taxpayers “paying” for college loans, but he’s not mentioning any way to improve our dismal educational system. All we hear from any politician is the  same old “give us more money” crap. As more money from the taxpayer is being dished out, the American educational system gets worse by the minute. You won’t be hearing any “no child left behind” slogans this campaign season…because there hasn’t been one President who could stand up to the teachers union. Not one.
*****

Everyone from Bill Gates, to George W. Bush, (fair enough, he tried)  to every CEO in the country have all said, our kids won’t be able to compete with the other nations, and they are absolutely right. How many times do they have to dumb down tests because the kids are so clueless?  The teachers are too.

Blame the unions. Blame the democrats who support and depend on this vast monopoly, blame the politician, blame the hip hop culture …it doesn’t matter. The problem never gets solved. And I hate to tell you this: it won’t be.

The unions are entrenched like a stench of bad gangrene. You would almost have to cut off the rot and start over to get anywhere. Too many people make too much money for it to be overhauled. Our teachers are entrenched government workers. We are paying millions of teachers to babysit and indoctrinate, and dumb down whole generations of kids, and then we give them big pensions for doing such a bad job.

And if you blame the American parent—I’m going to scream. (Sure Joyanna! Go ahead.)

Parents have no say in it whatsoever. The teacher’s union have fought the charter schools tooth and nails in every state. Homeschoolers too. Any Americans who wanted to start their own schools outside the unions would not be allowed to…more than likely, they’d be jailed.

BUT…if you are a Muslim, that’s a whole different matter. Last week Leslie Stahl did a piece on this subject: Yes, YOU paid for it…Turkish teachers coming to teach your children. Right along with the mosques, the Muslims  are building schools, where the “disadvantaged’ can get a great education.

Over the past decade scores of charter schools have popped up all over the U.S., all sharing some common features. Most of them are high-achieving academically, they stress math and science, and one more thing: they’re founded and largely run by immigrants from Turkey who are carrying out the teachings of a Turkish Islamic cleric: Fethullah Gulen. The education here gets high marks, as students get state-of-the-art technology and extensive one-on-one tutoring.

It seems the Turkish teachers are doing the job that American teachers can’t, and at a much cheaper price. There are 130 of these Turkish Charter schools in 26 states and the waiting list to get in goes into the thousands.  Yes, the imam is out to get those American teachers on the unemployment line, and most Americans would pray to get their kids into these schools.

I ask you…how sad is this? Our teachers are so bad we have to bring foreigners in?

Some American teachers are mad:

“Our tax dollars are paying for them to come over here and take our jobs.” They charge that the schools also make money by bringing in foreign teachers in order to take a cut of their salaries.  Also, while educating schoolchildren across Texas alone, the Gulan group has also nurtured a close-knit network of businesses and organizations run by Turkish immigrants. The businesses include not just big contractors like TDM but also a growing assemblage of smaller vendors selling school lunches, uniforms, after-school programs, Web design, teacher training and even special education assessments.

So, once again, we are our own worst enemy. We can’t even educate our own kids anymore, leaving a foreign country to come in and do it better.

And guess who will get “blamed ” for our kids being stupid?

You the American taxpayer. You the American parent.

Yes, history will blame you.

But I won’t.

George W. Bush once advised the Americans to let Dubai monitor American ports. Obama wants to further the Muslim’s influence in the world in math, and science.

Nobody Wonders: When did our Presidents give up on America? Nobody Knows.

Maybe we need to teach our Presidents to teach our children well…or else.

The Kids: Brain VS Brawn

Nobody Reports

Scientists all over the world have been frantically trying to figure out how to make humans smarter. But once in a while mother nature blurbs kids out with more brains than even our smartest people…putting a hold on brain transformation a few more years.

That’s four-year- old Heidi Hankins, of England…who recently joined Mensa. Hankins has scored an IQ of 159 – just one point beneath the estimated IQ of Albert Einstein, father of the Theory of Relativity, and comparable to the estimated IQ of Stephen Hawking, one of the most noted physicists of the modern age. But it wasn’t Heidi’s bright idea to join Mensa. Her father, Matthew Hankins, 46, a lecturer at the University of Southampton, came up with that one.

“We always thought Heidi was pretty bright because she was reading early. I happen to specialize in measuring I.Q.s in children, and I was curious about her and the results were off the scale.”

Well. of course they were, DAD! (no bias here)

Nobody Wonders: What good all that IQ will do her, when she is one day, all grown up, and happens to run into this young man? Sure, he’s just a couple of years her junior. But, for all of Heidi’s great IQ, I am willing to bet, that it won’t be the IQ that will dominate..it will be the hormones rushing through her body. That bright IQ of hers will melt into puddles if he evens comes near her and shows just how strong one human can get from doing pull-ups for 22 years straight. He could have the brains of a democrat in heat, and she won’t care.

After all…ask any man with a high IQ what happens when a pretty girl goes by.

If you are like me, you can only imagine what this kid is going to become. They should have a MENSA for superhuman boys.  Nobody Thinks this father was pumping testosterones into  his son’s milk bottles, and just like Heidi’s dad…was going for the records.

Enjoy!

And notice, the kids not dumb. He knows he needs to get up on the chair, but he can’t budge it. A few more pushups, and dad will have to put the Kiddie program on the ceiliing.

The NEW Liberal Scientific Testing Subject: Drunks.

Nobody Wonders

Liberals are having a hard time lately. Here they elected a President who they were SURE was going to be the greatest living human savior next to Jesus: one that would finally deliver them from the evil, moronic, and stupid narrow-minded conservative people that they are finding out dominate much of the United States— and what happened? Every day, Obama screws up: Unconstitutional Health Care, long wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, high gas price, and a wife who can’t stop taking vacations and ordering caviar and lobster for lunch, and he even started going to church!

This can’t be happening.

Obama and Michelle are acting like the very rich people the democrats complain about, and all the people who voted for him to “fundamentally change” the country, are finding out he wants to make their life miserable too. Many Obama lovers are also losing their homes and jobs. They are figuring out that the free lunch is not going to last forever. If only they could change those millions of conservatives out there, everything would be great.

So–somewhere in the la-la land of the University of Arkansas, a psychologist named Scott Eidelman, decided to prove once and for all that being a conservative means you’re stupid. He decided to ‘prove’ it with his liberal scientific method: Called–

The Liberal Scientific Method: Test the drunks at the bar.

” Researchers stood outside the exit of a busy New England tavern and offered to measure patrons’ blood alcohol level if they would fill out a short survey. Eighty-five drinkers agreed, expressing their opinions of 10 statements such as “production and trade should be free of government interference.”

And their conclusion from this very scientific method?

“Bar patrons reported more conservative attitudes as their level of alcohol intoxication increased,” the researchers report.

So they proves— what? That all drunks are conservatives? What if an inebriated Ted Kennedy had been asked those questions? This is the liberal scientific method of testing?
No conservative on the planet would suggest that you test drunks coming out of a bar and call it scientifically sound information, but that’s what makes liberals and conservatives so different from each other. Liberals aren’t afraid to experiment with anything: drugs, sex, gay marriage, gay military, and trillion-dollar stimulus packages given to companies making products that nobody wants. To them, it makes sense just to do it, no matter what the results..it’s the ‘experiment’ that deserves the award , not the results.

*****
Conservatives stick with the tried and true method of doing what has worked before. To a liberal, this is sheer madness…go figure. A conservative would build a skyscraper relying on what works: Steel, concrete, calculus, and planning. A liberal would say, “Hey, let’s just pile the stuff up and see what happens!” What building would YOU feel safer in?

So, what did Scott find out?

“Conservatism, which the researchers identify as “an emphasis on personal responsibility, acceptance of hierarchy, and a preference for the status quo” — may be our default ideology. If we don’t have the time or energy to give a matter sufficient thought, we tend to accept the conservative argument.”

By default, people are conservative? Oh no!

Think about this again: Conservatives will pick the common sense attitude, from information passed down to be true, (Even when he’s DRUNK!) rather than have enough “energy” to give the liberal’s idea much thought, because a conservative can tell you right off the bat that you can’t sell electic cars to a nation which runs on gas, (Even when he’s DRUNK!) and he didn’t waste any energy to even have to think about that no-brainer.

Obama, the liberal thinker, had to spent untold billions and god know how much brain energy to figure that out. And it still hasn’t dawned on him….that duh…it’s not going to work.

We have seen the results of liberal thought “energy” in our screwed up school system. Instead of using tried and true methods of building strong minds in grades 1-5, by grading everyone on mastering the fundamentals of reading, writing, and arithmetic–liberals decided to use their energy making sure all our kids all know how to recycled, believe in global warming, and understand the ‘diversity’ of their various sexual choices. Only half of our kids can now read, but that’s okay. At least they won’t come out of bars drunk and conservative.

Scott Eidelman decided that he only needed one bar to do this survey.

“Ideology is multiply determined, coming from many sources, including values, experience, history and culture,” the researchers note. (How diverse is one bar?) It’s unclear whether this rightward drift would occur in a population of strongly committed but cognitively overloaded liberals.”

Oh…so he just admitted it was a bar full of conservatives to begin with. Nothing like stacking the deck in your favor.

To be fair and scientific, he should have conducted another survey of Eight-five drunks coming out of the White House Press Dinner. But..then again, that would take common sense, something a liberal professor thinks is outdated.

“Research provides evidence that, when under time pressure or otherwise cognitively impaired, people are more likely to express conservative views”

So, Scott’s evidence of 85 drunks in a bar prove that only idiots are conservative. They’d never think of something so smart as wearing ‘hoodies’ on the floor of Congress.

The liberals are so freighted that the dumb conservative people of the drunken state of America, will never take the time and energy to become enlighten to the future of the liberal mind of the New World Global Taxing Order—What ARE they going to do?

They have just found out, that people are conservative when they get drunk or upset. So, if I were a liberal, I’d try to make sure I did not get a conservative drunk or upset.
In other words: Don’t piss off a conservative—especially when he’s drunk… he won’t change.

And if change is what you want…move to Kenya….all the drunks there are waiting for you to command.

The University of Chicago–Exploding Excretments

Nobody Cares

Sandra Fluke has done her job. So well in fact, that here we find another young student out to get some changes done…and  very important changes they are too! The toilets are exploding at the University of Chicago..yes, the school that mentored that hotbed of leaders that have graced it halls, and which have included: Saul Alinsky, David Axelrod, Carol Moseley Braun, David Brooks, Jon Corzine, Ramsey Clark, Ed Ashner, Paul Wolfowitz, Ahmaed Chalabi (Deputy Prime Minister of Iraq), David Rockefeller, and Indiana Jones–is falling apart.

And no one seems to care ! Exploding excrement, elevators that try to kill you, heating vents that burn and maine…and yet WHERE is our ‘President’ on this? After all, this IS Obama’s old school. This is where he met Michelle, who went on to be employed at the university, starting out at about $300, 000 a year. Surely they would want to help out their old alma mater?

Don’t they CARE about this poor girl? After all…if your hand falls on the heater at night, your medical bills alone will break you, and you won’t be able to afford contraceptives.

The cost of one semester at the University of Chicago is around $12,633, and that doesn’t include gas….so you would think that the university professors could take a cut in pay and fix the toilets, wouldn’t you?

Nobody Thinks—.there is more to this than meets the eye. It could be, the very halls themselves have decided to take revenge for the great evil that they have sent out into the world. If I was a university, and I knew the damage that had been done in my house, I certainly wouldn’t want to continue the trend.

I might explode a few toilets too.

Education: There’s a Better Way….Find it.

Nobody’s Opinion

Not many candidates are talking about our very poor educational system. They all give lip service to it, but the fact is, it’s an overgrown behemoth bureaucracy  of cancerous stagnation, that decade by decade, does nothing but leave too many forever in “service” jobs.

If you watched this video you cannot but conclude that: maybe that’s the plan.

As the film suggest: the problems of our education or lack of thereof, has not been a big concern of our government. It’s NEVER been on the top of any party’s agenda: the subject is dropped once the President gets in office. The reason: unions and the money they supply.

George W. Bush’s “No Child Left Behind” was noble in thought, it’s just that the schools had already left everyone behind so badly, nobody could catch up.

Higher education may be no better off. Both the so-called best online colleges and the so-called best traditional colleges are still not serving students well. Thirty percent of college and university students drop out after their first year. Half of all students never graduate.

Still, despite the odds, there are some who do not let our poor educational system get in their way.

There was a small piece tonight on Sixty Minutes about an autistic boy savant named Jake, who was going to graduate from college at age 14. He excels in higher mathematics.  He had an unbelievable memory, which helped, but it was his passion and his love of numbers that is driving him to be probably the next Einstein.

Not all of us are born with “supercharged” memories in our brains. As Thomas Edison once said, “We have to learn how to think.”

Sadly, we are in serious short supply in that area: thinking.
One of my favorite books in my library is The Diary and Observations of Thomas Edison, and in that book is a whole chapter on Education: Here are a few quotes from Edison from that chapter:

“I am frequently asked about our system of education. I say that we have none. Our system is a relic of past ages. It consists of parrot-like repetitions. It is a dull study of twenty-six hieroglyphs.”

“Groups of hieroglyphs. That is what the young of this present day study. Here is an object. I place it in the hands of a child. I tell him to look at it. If we begin before we have hardened and dried his mind he studies the object with kindling enthusiasm. The mind of the child is naturally active. Why should we make him take his impressions of things through the ear when he may be able to see?”

(Later he claims that’s why he invented motion pictures…to teach.)

“The folds of the brain grow deeper through observation; they grow fallow from disuse. If we educate too abruptly–if we cram the mind with facts memorized for themselves alone, what comes? Pure atrophy.”

“The trouble with our educating as generally followed is that it does not give elasticity to the mind. It casts the brain into a mould. It insists that the child must accept. It does not encourage original thought or reasoning, and lays more stress on memory than observation.”

He goes on to say what happens to our kids from not being challenged but rather…bored to death:

Bad teaching promotes: “A flagging interest, which leads quickly to the habit of listening without hearing, of looking without regard to the existence or non-existence of interest. At present, most young leave their schools only partially educated, and rapidly forget a large part of that which they have been taught. They fail to learn because the methods of teaching are wrong. They forget because the methods of instruction have made them actually dislike knowledge. “

Now, remember, this was back in Edison’s day.

He goes on:

“Universities fail: Careful thought convinces me that this is because the men who run them never have been out in the great world of struggle. Professors usually are men untried in any sort of competition comparable with that which their students eventually must face. Speaking generally, such men cannot impart the right ideas to the boys, for they themselves are ignorant.”

Nobody Thinks this is one of the very reason we have failed in America: Too many of our teachers know nothing about the everyday world, or even how to use the subject they are teaching in the real world.

Not many algebra teachers can tell you HOW to use algebra, or why—or even who uses it and when. I know, I’ve asked almost every algebra teacher I ever knew, and they had no clue.

Too many of our leaders come from some of these many ignorant teachers, most of them from Harvard, who Henry Adams trashed with delightful abandon in “The Education of Henry Adams.” (You can imagine how I loved that.)

For instance: Daddy Bush, a Harvard alumni, while President, had never been in a grocery store. He was shocked, when he visited one, at the price of bread, and how the items were scanned by the cashier.

It’s hard to believe, how removed from ordinary life some of these people are.

Can you imagine what Edison would think of the schools system we have now? Where kids are not only not being taught how to think, they are being stuffed with meaningless crap like: recycling, diversity, global warming, sex, gender issues, and the trashing of our own history?

All you have to do is watch Jay Leno’s boardwalk to see all the college graduates who don’t even know how many moons the earth has.

“The main objection that I have against a college graduate is that he objects to work, especially if it is dirty. He does not want a job with much work to it, and when he does get a position, he expects to be appointed foreman at the end of the sixth week. Most of the men working for me have never gone to college. Those college graduate that I have usually show a lack of imagination. They scarcely have any suggestions to make in their daily routine which might lead to improvement in their various departments. “

And so, we are ruled by those Harvard constitutional lawyers who “scarcely have any suggestions to make their daily routine which might lead to improvement in their various departments.”

Nobody Thinks…that’s also the point: the daily routine of our leaders can’t get much better, and that’s why “we the people” need to think: Do I leave my child’s education to the public school system?

Or is there a better way?

“There is always a way to do it better..find it.”…Tom Edison.

Nobody Needs More Hetty Greens

Nobody Wins

Most everyone will agree… our education system is…abysmal. While there are many public schools, in areas where the lawyers, doctors, and fairly well-off people live that do a fairly good job, for most of America, the story is very different.

We are so far behind in science and math compared to other countries, it a no- brainer that Mitt Romney and Bill Gates want to import more brains from other countries. The main thing that has separated the haves from the have- not’s is knowledge. And there is one bit of important knowledge that the rich know that the poor are never taught:How to play the stock market.

In every high school in America, that should be a required course. There was no such thing in my high school, and later on, I found out that my own son had no idea or was ever taught in school, how to even write a check, or the basics of finance. And for obvious reasons: our government is trying to transform us into a cashless society, and they are doing a good job at it. There is nothing being taught in our schools about finance: stock markets, bonds…etc.
***
The difference in the rich VS the poor, is that the rich teach their children all about it. And that’s what Hetty Green’s father did.

Who is Heddy Green? (1834-1916) She played with the big boys, back when Jay Gould, Cornelius Vanderbilt, and John D. Rockefeller went around the country snatching up natural resources, fixing prices, cheating the government, and trying to destroy one another. This was also before the Sixteenth Amendment was passed giving the federal government the right to tax individuals and corporations. (Now, the rich just put all their money in off-shore banks.)

Hetty was every bit as good at the game, she took no prisoners, and she became a very ric multimillionaire, by playing the stock market.

And HOW did a woman back in the Victorian era accomplish this feat?

From The Rich and How They Got That Way

Hetty father and her grandfather made their money in the whale business. As a girl , Hetty sat on their laps while they read the business news and stock market report to her. Later when their eyesight began to fail, she did the same for them. Since Quakers traditionally regarded women as men’s equals. Once when Hetty went to New York for the winter social season, her father gave her $1,200 to buy clothes. She invested $1,000 of the allowance in bonds instead. All through her life she held high society in utter contempt.

When he died, he left his estate of about $6 million to his daughter. Her father had left his bequest in a trust to be administered by two male executors. Hetty’s income from her various holdings amounted to roughly $1000 a day. yet she wore the same dress every day. She bought railroad stocks and bonds. In one year in London, she made more than $1.25 million on her investments.

So, is it any wonder why the lowly working man is angry? With the right investments, a man or woman needs never lift a finger to survive. And today, we have even bigger robber barons—

“Anybody who plays the stock market not as an insider is like a man buying cows in the moonlight.” The robber barons prevailed partly because they were good gamblers but also because they had no ethical scruples, and no person or agency was powerful enough to stop them. By 1900, America had the highest per capita standard of living in the world. It was the heroic age of American capitalism.

They destroyed one another by manipulating stock prices with the blind enthusiasm of barbarians. The act of a corner was to acquire the entire stock of a commodity in order to resell it at a higher price, a perfect corner obliterated the bears who had sold stock short in anticipation of buying it back cheaper at a later date.

Sound familiar?

So…the reason that we are in this terrible mess, is because a lot of very rich people, saw a way to get very rich on the stock market, and they crashed fortunes, nations, and futures with no remorse.

The little nobodies had no clue, because they were not taught in his schools, how bonds, stocks, derivatives, and even capitalism works.

Nobody Wins, when a nation is kept ignorant by design, of how stock markets work. That gives the cream at the top the advantage.

A man is robbed on the Stock Exchange just as he is killed in war by people whom he never sees.

American have not only been robbed of our money, we have been robbed of our future.

It’s about time, we educate ourselves.

There’s Stealing—and Then There’s Stupid

Nobody Cares

While Obama and all his supporters are going around claiming that things really aren’t so bad, and have improved, as you can see by the pictures, not everyone is having a great time.

First: In downtown Dallas, copper thieves were trying to pull a 13,200 volt live wire out of a conduit. Note the bolt cutter and the copper wire on the ground.

The economy is so bad, that metals are being stolen everywhere. Pipes, wires, cables, gutters, air conditioners are being stripped of their copper coils. Add to that copper plumbing, generators, and that’s just the beginning!

I’m waiting for the mufflers to be yanks off of cars…siding off houses…handle bars off of baby carriages…

Communications towers are also being stripped, leaving your IPhone vulnerable to attack, right in the middle of Christmas. Pretty soon, all the people walking around with titanium knees and back implants will have to think twice before going downtown to the football game.

Metal prices are high right now, but evidently so were these two poor souls, who also suffered severe damage from our fabulous education system, or they skipped science class. Not to mention: They must of been stealing bibles in Sunday School.

This is what happens when you replace science class with recycling class. Nobody Blames Al Gore.

Second: Somewhere in Longview, Washington State, 31- YEAR-OLD UNIDENTIFIED MAN (Uh, how did they know he was 31 if he was unidentified?) stole four items from a store: a Marilyn Manson CD, a bike inner-tube, a bike lock, and a quart of oil.

Evidently, he was going to go home, put on his Manson CD, put a new inner tube on his bike, and ride to the local service station and steal a quart of oil. This 31-year-old Manson wannabe was a prime example of “It takes one to know one.” Being a thief himself, he bought a lock for his bike. No one was going to steal that bike from him.

Still, he wasn’t so smart when he took a hatchet to a police man’s ear when caught stealing.  He left his ‘stolen’ items in the cart, which mean, his fingerprints are all over them.

That shows…real thinking.

Does Obama care about the massive stealing that been going on lately? Does he care that we have a nation of morons? (Don’t answer that.)

Did Osama bin Laden care about his wife when he used her as a body guard?

I’m just saying.

Not much “caring” going on right now in the White House. So, Nobody Thinks we should all remember those famous words of a well-loved famous American that I tell myself every day:

The Smartest Man on Earth: Stephen Wolfram

Nobody Gets Email

I was just going about my nobody day last week, when I got this video. To say that I was blown away is probably an understatement, because let’s face it—the man called Stephen Wolfram is not as famous as a Steve Jobs or a Bill Gates. I had never heard of him.

In this video you will see the future of …maybe everything. For instance: If you wanted to find the Perfect Model for a World Government, you would just type in your simple question into the Wolfram/Alpha search engine and come out with some answers. Poor Henry Adams, he was born too soon.

If you are Al Gore, you would want to change it I’m sure. Just because people get the answer, doesn’t mean they will follow it. I’m not sure “greed” and “love for power” is computational. But then again, if it is, Stephen will find it and compute it in.

While some of us our skepitcal about how a machine can “invent”against the human brain….remember, you still need the questions first. So all you nobodies out there: the biggest brains in science are using this, it’s time we start. I’ve already got his search engine tagged.

This man has the highest IQ on the planet. Many of you might know about this guy…but if not. DO NOT MISS THIS…

ENJOY! (Thanks to amfortas)

When Johnnie Can’t Write His Name..No Problem. He’ll Just Flash the Chip in his Hand

Nobody’s Opinion

“My name is Kathleen, not Catherine,” she said to me.

It was the last day of the adult swimming at the local pool, and I was just now getting to know the old gal with the pretty silver hair, who would swim to the end of the pool and do her knee exercises. I knew that she was recovering from two knee surgeries, but that’s about all I knew of her…that was about to change.

“I was a teacher..a strict teacher.” she said as we were drying off getting ready to leave for the year.

“What did you teach?” I asked, as I sat down on the blue-netted lounge to get my feet.

“Sixth, seventh, and eighth grade, for over thirty years.”

And then she just blurted it out…”Did you know they are not going to teach cursive anymore? The kids do not even have to write anything anymore. All they have to do is fill in the dot.” She was appalled. A kid that couldn’t write, or even be asked to write, might as well be labeled ignorant for life. It was as if all her life’s work had just been thrown into the trash can.

As she sat down on the lounge next to me, she went on to tell me about some of the things that were going on at our local schools. The teachers were having sex in the bathrooms., and then bragging about it.

Not the kids, the teachers.

Kathleen spoke about how proud she was of the job she did when she taught. She told me of one teacher who hated her, and she could never figure out why. Then one day, the teacher told her…

“You always got all the presents.” she said.

You see, Kathleen insisted on respect from her students, They had to say “yes sir, and yes ma’am” and her students therefore actually learned, and they loved her for it. She would never put the kid’s name on the board when they were bad, but when they were good. Every once in a while, she would have them all write (in cursive) an essay to tell her if she had ever been unfair, and when, and to not sign their names.

My god, I thought…what a human being.

She told me how a student had told her to look on FACEBOOK, and to notice, how she was everybody’s favorite teacher. I noticed a few tears forming in her eyes as she spoke about reading their comments.

So, the “mean, strict” teacher at Christmas time, much to all the other teacher’s surprise, was swamped with presents. So many that the room was filled up with them.

As she laid back on the lounge chair, she continued to tell me how corrupt the school administrators were, and I told her my own sad story about my son, who was actually kicked out of high school for being sick. He went ahead and got a GED Scholarship, but I have never forgiven the people at the school that did it to him.

Kathleen told me it was the saddest story she had ever heard.

During my own fight with the school system , the corruption I saw at every turn sickened me. The United States School system is rigged, only to benefit the teachers, the principals, and the unions. It’s all about the money. And what’s so sad, is that so many of the teachers don’t even know much about anything, and yet, due to George Bush, the kids have to pass the standardized tests. Or else, they don’t get federal funds.

If that’s not a reason to take the schools back to the local level, I don’t know what is.

But, it’s too entrenched. The system is like a huge, poisonous blob of gangrene suffocating the whole country. And it, makes money for the liberals that control it, and continue to perpetuate it.

Last month, 178 teachers and principals at 44 Atlanta public schools were found to be responsible for, or directly involved in, cheating on the state’s standardized test, according to a report issued by the Georgia governor’s office following an extensive investigation.

This teaching scandal was blamed on the bonuses that everyone would get if all the kids passed the tests. The “bleeding heart” excuse for cheating was: What if you have a bunch of “poor” kids who can’t pass the test, and you are a teacher who is a single mom with kids to raise, and you NEED that bonus?

You must cheat. The poor kids can’t compete with the rich kids. It’s not the teacher’s fault.

Baloney.

If Booker T. Washington, a slave that swept floors for reading lessons, can learn how to read and write, then there is no reason that “poor’ kids can’t learn. There are “poor” schools in New York City that are exceeding due to the old fashioned  “strict” policies put back in place.

Just last week. Mitt Romney told us all what he thinks of America’s hope by answering one questions: What did he think of immigrations?

He said that we should persuade all the foreigners who studied and got degrees at our universities to stay in our country. Mitt knows that our own American children will not have the skills to fill the higher level position. And if they do, the job will still go the foreigners as we have seen, because they are cheaper.  Bill Gates feels the same way.

American kids are being abandoned, and not just the poor black ones. The dumbing down has been an ongoing liberal process for most of my lifetime.

And what does that tell you?

Do they want to keep our kids stupid?

Well, so far it’s working out for them —-just fine.

The Evolution of Education (What Evolution?)

Nobody Reports
Today, I was rummaging through my old Shakespeare book, and read this at the beginning. Read what Shakespeare had to go through in school:
“From grammar the boys progressed to studying works of classical and neo-classical literature. They might read anthologies of Latin sayings and Aesop’s Fables, followed by the fairly easy plays of Terence and Plautus. They might even act scenes from Latin plays. As they progressed they would improve their command of language by translating from Latin into English and back, by imitating approved models of style, and by studying manuals of composition, the ancient rules of rhetoric, and modern rules of letter writing. Putting their training into practice they would compose formal epistles, orations, and declamations. Their efforts at composition would be stimulated too by their reading of the most admired authors. Works that Shakespeare wrote throughout his career show the abiding influence of Virgil’s Aeneid and of Ovid’s Metamorphoses Certainly he developed a taste for books both classical and modern; his plays show that he continued to read seriously and imaginably for the whole of his working life. “
Imagine our children getting that kind of education today? They didn’t even do this when I was a kid. I remember how much trouble I had learning to read. In the first grade my teacher wrote my mother and told her she was worried about me. I simply could not catch up with the other kids. Then one day, she took an hour out of her day, and explained it all to me. (Imagine that happening today.)   I had dyslexia, but back then, they didn’t really know about that. I didn’t find out until late in life, that my brother had it, as does my son.
***
To this day I spell many words backwards. And even when I read it, if there is a mistake, and the spell checker misses it, my brain says it’s right. Luckily, that teacher gave me a gift, the love of reading. Once she explained it to me, I was off and flying. But, what if I had learned REAL grammar? The proclivity I have finally found as an adult, wanting to write, might have developed when I was even younger.
 ***
At this stage, I feel like I’m still in second grade.
 ***
As you can see, what Shakespeare and his fellow classmates learned went even beyond our English majors in college.
***
Getting A and B’s were easy the rest of my life, and I was smart enough to know what I wasn’t being taught. When I got to high school, I LOVED Shakespeare, and understood him as easy as breathing. Finally, I thought. Something worth reading. My essays, if I may say so myself, outdid many of the things I write today. But all the A’s on my essays were downgraded when I refused to take off my makeup in drama class. My teacher was FURIOUS. (a man) I had the worst case of acne, and I just would not do it, and so therefore, I got a C. I started to hate school.
 ***
My last year in high school, I was so bored I wanted to quit. My dad, talked me out of it, and that was that, I stayed in. But I have NEVER had a love for schools of any kind. I’m afraid I didn’t do much better in college. Oh, I got A’s, but I was furious with the teachers, the systems, the whole set up. I wanted MORE not less. When I read the Education of Henry Adams, I felt like I’d come home–okay, this contempt for the educational system runs in the family. I forgave myself, or should I say, Henry forgave me.
 ***
Thank goodness, I was tired of blaming myself.
 ***
But I almost dropped out of high school, which would have been a disaster. And now, 6.2 million kids a year drop out of high school in the United States. Kids are frustrated….and bored. They introduced John Dewey and the rest is sad history.
Reading, writing, and arithmetic are old rhymes in a old book.
 ***
The biggest mistake our schools do, is put the brightest of their students out to pasture, while they spent countless hours trying to keep the slow ones “equal.” Is it any wonder so many of them turn to video games?
 ***
The United States is 17th among nations in education. Even in the land of Shakespeare, most of their population is right along with us. What does this mean?
 ***
I have no idea. Only that, we have come a long way baby when it comes to teaching the minds of the young, the evolution of education in America, is going back to B.S. —Before Shakespears.***
***
Say about…two thousand years.
