Nobody's Opinion

When Stars Are Born…

Nobody Flashes

I don’t usually watch American Idol, or any of the various talent shows on TV…and the last time I listened to opera was when my mother’s favorite singer Luciano Pavarotti sang AVA MARIA right before he died.

And it’s not often that true talent beyond the stars is born…but check this out.  These two..ordinary looking Nobodies are going to be filling up our lives with joy for years to come.

Nobody means to follow politics, and I will— but I will ALWAYS share the positive things in life with you! And this night, it’s a glorious song.

ENJOY!

  1. Now, If you cannot say you just Love this little girl and Praise the God that is expressed in her gift, then you must throw yourself off the bridge over the Arno.

    • My goodness..that was beautiful! Let’s hope she has steady parents to keep her from turning into Brittany Spears. It was almost like she was 30 years old. Her teacher should get some of her future earnings. Amazing, thanks amfortas!

  2. What is almost as astounding as the unexpected voices, was the reaction of the audience to quality. Maybe there is hope for the younger generation. This was not matched by the adults on the panel who were so cruel to the pleasant and highly supportive girl who partnered the lad.

She was 16 and showed a better level of maturity and plain humanity than the panel thug who suggested to the lad that he dump her.

By the way, look up Jackie Evancho on you tube. Similar in astounding all with an absolutely beautiful, mature voice at 10 years old !! Home-grown American too and one that shows promise for an American revival of latent humanity.

(I have to admit,…. when I saw Jackie and heard her voice, I burst into tears).

    • Yeah, I thought Simon was a bit too cruel myself, but that’s his trademark. She was much better than Simon let on, and only sixteen did she say? I agree with you, without her help, the guy might not have made it to the stage. I don’t think the “people” will just want him…people will want to hear them both. If you noticed, he started too early and she had to correct him. They will best be sold asa team…that’s just my opinion. I’ll go check out Jackie!
