Nobody's Opinion

Nobody’s Email: The Griffon

Nobody Gets Email

Remember the days when they just fit TWO people in a car? It’s been quite awhile since I have gotten on a roller coaster, but I must admit, this looks fun. It’s called “The Griffon” and it’s at Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, Virginia.

I’m already sick of winter…watching “Hawaii” house international is starting to get me really cranky. If I hear another whiny young woman say, “Oh…$850,000 is just a bit over our budget, we were hoping for something around $800,000″ ONE MORE TIME: I think I really WILL write a letter to Obama.

God forbid that day should happen.

So—- I don’t know about you, but I’m making plans already for spring.

Enjoy!

Keith Ellison: Muslim Concerned About the Jews?

Nobody Reads

Last Friday I posted a short piece on Father Coughlin…and to my surprise the next day, it seems that the good Father is as much a threat now as he was back then.  It seems the Muslim congressman, Keith Ellison (DFL-MN) has a new book out, in which he talks about Coughlin:Keith Ellison

Congressman Keith Ellison (DFL-MN) is out with a new book this week titled “My Country ‘Tis of Thee,” an autobiography that from its very beginnings is as bombastic as the progressive politician himself.

“Father Charles Edward Coughlin was perhaps the most influential and vocal anti-Semite in the country…His Sunday afternoon radio show…was one of the first to command a huge national audience, estimated at forty million listeners. Coughlin was the Rush Limbaugh of the Great Depression. He appealed to the “common man”–the white working class–railing against “the Jews” and defending the rise of Adolf Hitler and the Nazis in Germany. The radio priest’s hateful philosophy was spreading like a plague, but a few courageous leaders shone a light on his hatred, providing a beacon for good, decent Americans.”

Mmmm…

Now, I don’t know enough about Coughlin to say if he hated Jews and loved Hitler or not. I just like what he said about FDR. Many of our famous leaders, which included Prescott Bush, and many on Wall Street, supplied weapons to the Nazi party, so I’m not sure if the good Muslim Ellison is correct.Kieth Ellison

But, I’d trust a conservative Catholic, before I’d trust an American hating Muslim, Congressman or not, any day of the week.

It will be interesting to see, why the democrats are even bringing Father Coughlin up, won’t it?

Evidently others are starting to read history too.

12-year-old Inventor: Peyton Robertson

Nobody Gets Email

I promised uplifting stories on the weekend, and this one is great. 12- year-old Peyton Robertson has a very practical invention and it just goes to show, that while there may be many high IQ’s out there, it’s the extra human spirit of imagination and spirit that makes some stand out from the rest. And Peyton is a real joy to watch.

Hopefully Peyton’s parents can help him get this idea on the market.

Enjoy!
