How Do WE Get Away from the Gloom?
Why puppies!
My husband and I went out to eat yesterday at a local restaruant, and we had a table outside. The couple next to us had their new ‘puppy’ that they had just saved from a shelter. Needless to day, the ‘puppy’ became my best friend, and as I DARE you to resist any puppy who looks at you with those sorrowful but adorable eyes to not give them food, as God has made sure they have the DNA to beg from humans.
That pup got most of my chicken sandwich, including the bacon and bread too.
How could I resist? He even got so bold as to stand up and put both paws on my lap and the funny thing about it is that the couple let him.
“He was so hungry when we got him.” they said.
Here’s what’s funny. They had a young boy of about 14 sitting with them, and they told us about how they had 7 dogs at home, and never said a word about the kid, who had earphones on.
Okay. Then we went for about a 90 minute walk, and when we came back to get in our car, there was the same couple…the boy still being ignored.
I’m not sure WHY they sat there for so long, but the puppy was getting feed for free, and the boy? Negected.
Needless to say, MO (The starving puppy) and I shared a great puppy moment in time. And it’s no wonder so many people are just not having kids but adopting dogs.
All you have to do is feed them. And they will love you forever.
By the way, I watched about 20 REALLY despressing video’s searching for one to post and it just got worse with every video.
ENOUGH! Enjoy! By the way…anyone who doesn’t like dogs, I’m always suspicious of.
You hit on a big problem with our society, too many parents either ignoring their children or letting social media run their lives. I get sick of hearing the mantra why didn’t the schools teach me X? Well why didn’t your parents? I taught my kids how to cook, clean, do taxes and work on a budget. I taught my kids how to read, I didn’t rely on the schools. I had a teacher tell us to stop teaching our children since they were ahead of their classmates and made them feel bad. Sorry my responsibility is my child and if other parents aren’t that is on them.
I went to every fame my son played in, it was sad that in our school the other players parents were mostly absent. At most of our home games the visiting team had triple or more parents watching their sons. I was dubbed the team dad. All the boys would yell hi dad when they saw me. Even outside of games.
This is why we have youth so messed up being deceived into the gay life style or even wanting to change their sex or pronoun. It is a big cry wanting some affection that is missing at home.

Well Said Tim. I too had to teach my son from the begining of school. In fact, when he got to high school, he could do advanced math in his head and the TEACHERS made him use the calculators. He wasn’t allowed to NOT use them. The schools are broke. At least here. Your kids were lucky to have such a smart dad. Yes, parents are now letting their kids get hooked on video games, and cell phones, and talk about sad. And sad? The young babies lying in Children’s hospitals who have NO parents or anyone come to see them. Premies. I saw too many of them. Right now, dogs are being abandoned everywhere. We are degrading at top speed. Thanks for the post Tim. Good one.
