The Democrats are CLEAR: The End…is near.
Nobody Wonders
Since I am a “night” person, I had CPAN on last night and heard some pretty incredible statements by democrats, trying to get us all excited about ‘saving’ the planet
“We have an obligation to pass on the earth to our children. It’s not going to be free.”
I love this. Democrats feel NO obligation whatsoever in their children’s future economic welfare, passing onto their children a $17 trillion dollar debt, or their educational future—passing on an educational system that isn’t even as good as the one in Estonia, passing on dying cities whose infrastructures are crumbling, passing on a bi-lingual nation, passing on an unprotected nation, and one daily more in dire danger from outside attacks from our enemies because they are too busy monitoring citizens, passing on a heath systems which will kill millions, passing on a nation with no jobs dependent forever on the state..
.BUT, they care deeply about the earth.
Senator Jeff Merkley actually claimed that
“Our winters are not as bad as they used to be”
Since Jeff is from Oregon, and this winter, Niagara Falls, AND all the lakes above Michigan froze solid, Nobody Wonders where e Jeff spends most of his time.
The US must lead this new “Save our planet” by paying for it through our electric bills. Sure, China is polluting, but if we would lead, he is SURE the rest of the world will follow! Also, he had fires in his state, because of global warming. Forgetting to mention that the National Forest Service does not take care of the Forests anymore, and we have lots of arsonist starting fires, and Obama makes sure that he controls the water to put out these fires, and won’t let them HAVE any water, as he did in Arizona.
Senator Christophe Coons of Delaware said that he took his kids on vacation last year, to see some glazers and it broke their little hearts when the glazier had been melting, and that’s why sea levels are rising!
Hey, it breaks my heart every year when I can’t take my family on vacation—ANYWHERE due to the poor economy. I would take a melting glazier any day of the week, and I promise, everyone in the family would be excited.
More Congressmen came onto the floor, and they punched it up: Military bases will be closed due to FLOODS! AND they will be stretched to the limit because its our military that goes all over the world to save people in climate disasters, people in Bangladesh will DIE! Companies are DEMANDING global warming taxes! Something must be done. ( I was waiting for somebody to mention chemtrails, but nobody did.)
And then, this morning, saving the planet was put on hold. Everything was forgotten because Diane Feinstein was pissed off because the CIA was spying on HER!
Something tells me, climate change is NOT going to be a subject on the democratic ticket in the upcoming elections. Our poor children will have to suffer, because the democrats care so much more about…
And if Diane Feinstein thinks we care about her problem…I suggest she get herself a water bottle and squirt it on her face.
Nobody’s Email: Hey there nobodies– Buy ‘Made in the USA’!
Nobody Gets Email
Here’s something I don’t think about much, I admit. When I go shopping I’m usually in such a rush I don’t bother to take the time to read the labels. Maybe we should demand “Made in the USA” to be included on all our products. After reading this reminder, I’m going to start checking.
(Thanks to my liberal friend, JR)
ACE HARDWARE–Made in the USA
Costco sells Goodyear wiper blades for almost half the price that you will pay on the outside and they are made in the U.S.A.
Unfortunately our politicians and top CEO’s (GE etc.( have pushed for trade to China and Mexico for years so Americans are now out of work. Did you know that there is no electric coffee maker made in the US and that the only kitchen appliances made in the U.S. is Viking?
I didn’t know Hallmark Cards were made in China! That is also why I don’t buy cards at Hallmark anymore, they are made in China and more expensive. I buy them at the Dollar Tree-50 cents and each made in the USA.
I have been looking at the blenders available on the internet. Kitchen Aid is made in the US. Top of my list already.
Yesterday I was in Wal Mart looking for a wastebasket. I found some made in China for $6.99. I didn’t want to pay that much so I asked the lady if they had any others. She took me to another department and they had some at $2.50 made in the USA. They are just as good. Same as a kitchen rug I needed. I had to look, but I found some made in the USA and they were $3.00 cheaper.
We are being brainwashed to believe that everything that comes from China and Mexico is cheaper. Not so. I was Lowe’s the other day and just out of curiosity, I looked at hose attachments. They were all made in China. The next day I was in Ace Hardware and just for the heck of it I checked the hose attachments there. They were made in the USA.
Start looking people. In our current economic situation, every little thing we buy or do affects someone else–most often their job.
My grandson likes Hershey’s candy. I noticed though that it is now marked “made in Mexico.” I don’t buy it anymore.
My favorite toothpaste Colgate is made in Mexico. Now I have switched to Crest.
You have to read the labels.
This past weekend I was at Kroger…I needed 60W light bulbs and Bounce dryer sheets. I was in the light bulb aisle, and right next to GE brand I normally buy, was an off-brand labeled “Everyday Value.” I picked up both types of bulbs and compared them: they were the same except for the price….
The GE cost more than the Everyday Value that are made right here.
So on to the next aisle, Bounce Dryer Sheets. Yes, you guessed it. Bounce costs more money and is made in Canada. The Everyday Value brand costs much less and is made in the USA. I did laundry yesterday AND the dryer sheets performed just like the Bounce Free I have been using for years, at almost half the price.
MY CHALLENGE TO YOU Is to start reading the labels when you shop for everyday things and see what you can find that is made in the USA. The job you save may be your won or your neighbor’s!
If you accept the challenge pass this on to OTHERS in your address Book so we can ALL start buying American, one light bulb at a time!
Stop buying from overseas companies–you’re sending the jobs there. We should have awakened a decade ago.
Let’s get with the program and help our fellow Americans keep their jobs and create more jobs here in the USA.
Obama Leaves Golf Game to TTP!
Nobody Wins
Obama left his water-soaked golf course in Palm Springs yesterday to take his big gas guzzling plane down to Mexico, to further the dreams of the global elite to make the North American Free Trade a LOT bigger, with this new Asia pact.
TTP. Sounds like a DDT. But unlike DDT, it won’t save any lives.
Obama, flanked by his trade negotiator and secretaries of Commerce and Homeland Security, stepped off Air Force One and onto a red carpet in Toluca, near Mexico City, where an honor guard lined the walk to Obama’s limousine. At an ornate state government complex nearby, Obama was to meet with Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto and Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper during the North American Leaders’ Summit,
A full agenda awaited the three North American Free Trade Agreement partners, including commerce, immigration, energy and security. But rather than reopen NAFTA, the three countries are instead relying on negotiations underway to complete the Trans-Pacific Partnership, a trade bloc of 12 countries in the Americas, Asia and the Pacific.
Notice that in the video above, Obama is doing this outside of Congress. And that’s how Congress wants it…because they are paid by the same people.
What happened after NAFTA and CAFTA, and all those other wonderful trade agreements pushed by GE and GM and other big American multinationals? They got richer, and the middle class disappeared.
It’s been a well laid-out plan by the elites of the world in progressive steps.
The big banks and the big corporations have bought our politicians, and no matter if they are Marxist like Obama, or crony capitalists like the Bushes, they pull the strings.
It’s very clear to this nobody that we are a fascist nation. Most people just don’t know it, because they do control what you see on TV.
This is a very important visit, (Which has gotta only a few minutes of cable time) because if the Congress passes the TPP, without even reading it, then you can be sure your future has been sealed.
In the 1998 November Issue of Time Magazine, the whole issue was dedicated to the subject of corporate welfare-Titled:
The Corporate Welfare Costs You
Here’s the intro:
How would you like to pay only a quarter of the real estate taxes you owe on your home? And buy everything for the next 10 years without spending a single penny in sales tax? Keep a chunk of your paycheck free of income taxes? Have the city in which you live lend you money at rates cheaper than any bank charges? Then have the same city install free water and sewer lines to your house, offer you a perpetual discount on utility bills, and top it all off by landscaping our front yard at no charge? And pay to train your workers in your business?
It’s called economic development, or public private partnership. And YOU pay for it.
Yes, big companies are given wonderful freebees from you—-Just like sports stadium are given so many subsidies in the promise that they will create jobs, and your property taxes go up to pay for everything, not theirs.
But…they don’t create jobs, that’s the fantasy. These companies get free everything, and make big profits while the cost of the jobs to the taxpayers well exceeds the amount of jobs that are made. Each cost of each job is never paid back.
This has been going on in America for decades, and jobs are…lost. Yes that’s right, lost.
Example:
New York State officials gave GM $16.9million to retool an existing plants. Another $3 million in property and sales tax reduction.
Another:
In Vance Alabama, the kids are so poor that they have portable classrooms, BUT the nearby Mercedes new plant was put up with a $253 million dollar package of incentives.
The rest of the Magazine is filled with one example after another. It gave me a headache just to read it.
America, (not so obviously) has become fascist at the highest levels. And our fortune 500 companies, along with their partners in crime in D.C., have raped and pillaged every last cent they can get out of you.
And that’s why they are going global. Middle America is broke.
It’s not the fact that big companies should not be allowed to expand, it’s when our politicians, work for them, and not us. All we here from our conservative politicians is that our companies are taxed too much. So, they get free money from the people, but the politicians tax them to get money, that does not come back to us.
Who screwing who?

Mexico and the United States are already merging. Obamacare is part of the globalization plan.
And tonight, while I think of Obama in Mexico, I can’t help but wonder, if he will be thanked by the gay men of Mexico for helping them erase AIDS.
Somehow, I don’t think we’ll see that picture.
Obama Was Promoted ALL over the World: Who Knew? Not us.
Nobody Wonders
I found these pictures by chance today, and I was taken aback because here in America we did not see ONE of these images on our cable networks anywhere. Evidently they were posted by the Atlantic right after Obama won the 2012 election, but what is shocking is that someone in the ‘leftist’ party was promoting the Obama presidency all over the world, not just here in the United States. Evidently the communists. If Mitt Romney had the same thing going on, I would have been just as shocked. Cities all over the world, had Obama tee-shirts, and Obama parties, and just WHO was promoting this?
Nobody Remembers The International Bankers and the Fly
Nobody Remembers
Although it’s not much, Obama has done one very good thing while in office: He has trashed the Constitution so much, that millions of people, who had never read the Constitution, actually started paying attention to our nation’s “rule of law’ and then exclaiming…”Whoa. He can’t do that.”
Yes he can, and yes he does. Coming up soon, Obama is about to unconstitutionally sign the next globalist wet dream: The Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership:
The measure would grant President Obama what is known as “fast track authority” to ram through Congress the Trans-Pacific Partnership with limited debate and no opportunity to propose amendments. The international trade agreement, negotiated largely in secret by the Obama administration, is regarded by globalist free traders as a cornerstone of the emerging “New World Order.” Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership, or TAP, to what is being developed as the Trans-Pacific Partnership, or TPP.
The little American nobody businessman is now simply an asterisk on the butt of a fly, sitting on a rock, at the bottom of the Grand Canyon.
As I was listening to Rush Limbaugh today, I must admit, I’m happy that he is siding with the people against the Rino’s in the Republican Party at last..because to not do so would be to admit that he does not side with the Constitution. BUT…Rush still thinks the Rino’s just want to stay in power and are silent because they want to be liked. Because Rush is rich himself, and has supported the big businesses of corporate America for so many years, he has trouble seeing the real problem—- Crony Capitalism —which is just another word for globalization. Mark Levine sees it. Rush hasn’t gotten there yet.
Isn’t it usually, all about the money?
During a visit to Britain in 1763, Benjamin Franklin said this to the officials of the Bank of England:
“In the colonies, we issue our own money. It is called Colonial Scrip. We issue it in proper proportion to the demands of trade and industry to make the products pass easily from the producer to the consumers. In this manner, creating for ourselves our own paper money, we control its purchasing power, and we have no interest to pay to no one. The colonies would gladly have borne the little tax on tea and other matters had it not been that England took away from the colonies their money, which created unemployment and dissatisfaction. The inability of colonists to get power to issue their own money permanently out of the hand of George III and the international bankers was the prime reason for the Revolutionary war. “
Benjamin was right. But…the old nemesis of John Adams, Alexander Hamilton, got us back in with the international bankers. And you don’t want to mess with the international bankers. If you bring a stick to the fight, they will bring a thousand stealth bombers, loaded with the latest intergalactic planetary death rays.
Case in Point: Abraham Lincoln enraged the Europeans international bankers by abolishing the country’s central bank. In 1862 he issued about $450 million in currency printed with green ink and they were called green backs. It was debt free fiat money. (Assassinated)
Case in Point: Hitler, did the same thing. He did not borrow from the international bankers and he issued his own debt free money, and put the Germans back to work. Within three years, Germany became an economic powerhouse—and this after the horrible depression they had gone through after the first war.
In Mein Kempt he said this:
“The fight against international finance and loan capital has become the most important point in the program of the German national fight for its independence and freedom. “
And then Winston Churchill said this:
“You must understand that this war is not against Hitler or National Socialism but against the economic strength of the German people— which must be smashed. “
(Just pointing out some similarities here…Hitler was a monster, too bad all the assassination attempts did not succeed.)
Case in Point: John F. Kennedy issued $4.2 billion in United States Notes through the U.S. Treasury rather than the Federal Reserve system in 1963. He then took steps to redirect the foreign investment of U.S. Companies. He wanted tax reform eliminating the tax privileges of US based global investment companies, and he wanted to crack down on foreign tax havens. (assassinated)
Americans have bailed out whole countries to save banks. In 2008, George W. Bush saved the banks. Obama did it again….(he still doing it)
Internet commentator Michael Rivero had this to say about the bailouts :
“In short the US government took your jobs, so the banks could take your homes to cover the losses from this gigantic swindle they were caught playing on the whole world. It is wealth confiscation to protect the banks, just like FDR did in 1933 with the gold.”
No one was punished.
Not all Presidents wanted to jump in with the globalists international bankers. President James a Garfield, said this in 1881.
“Whoever controls the volumes of money in our country is absolute master of all industry and commerce…and when you realize that the entire system is very easily controlled one way or another, by a few powerful met at the top you will not have to be told how periods of inflation and depression originate. (He was assassinated…two weeks later)
It’s never spoken about by our politicians. We print money to keep the stock market up and the rich making dividends while taking money from the middle class and passing it around to the poor. The plan has been to put all the inventions, the patents, the control, into the big multinational corporations. They now control the majority in Congress and Presidents, who only have to look at history to behave themselves.
Obama will continue the international bankers dream of a New World Order and they will keep us thinking that someday, somehow, the politicians in Washington will truly help that little fly at the bottom of the grand canyon.
So…as Nancy Pelosi says, ‘Embrace the suck’…Which in Nancy Pelosi’s mind is the same as “Bend over America—here comes the rest of the suck and you’re going to like it! ”
Can the poor little nobody fly sitting on a rock, battle the great international arsenal of wealth?
The “Compassion” of Howard Gardner is Not Logical
Nobody Reads Email
Howard Gardner is the John H. and Elisabeth A. Hobbs Professor of Cognition and Education at the Harvard Graduate School of Education and Senior Director of Harvard Project Zero. In his book, Five Minds for the Future, he makes a case for all people to respect and honor each other:
“In the complex global terrain in which we now live, we should , whenever possible, give priority to respect for those with different backgrounds and beliefs–and hope that they will return the favor.”
It’s the liberal philosophy that permeates all the elite colleges. Right now, we are watching the leaders in Europe work out a deal with Iran, that they “hope” will work. Even after the mistake of giving North Korea Plutonian for ‘peaceful” development. (thanks Bill Clinton), John Kerry is just so excited.
The lone voice of reason is Netanyahu.
I guess Howard Gardner from Harvard, never got this email…like I did. According to those that live among the radical Muslims, there is little hope they will return the favor. Nobody hopes, some Muslims move next door to the professor, so he can find out how far his “hope” takes him.
(Thanks to J.R.)
“I’m 72 and I’m Tired”
I’m tired of being told that Islam is a “Religion of Peace,” when every day I can read dozens of stories of Muslim men killing their sisters, wives and daughters for their family “honor”; of Muslims rioting over some slight offense; of Muslims murdering Christian and Jews because they aren’t “believers”; of Muslims burning schools for girls; of Muslims stoning teenage rape victims to death for “adultery”; of Muslims mutilating the genitals of little girls; all in the name of Allah, because the Qur’an and Shari’a law tells them to.
I’m tired of being told that out of “tolerance for other cultures” we must let Saudi Arabia and other Arab countries use our oil money to fund mosques and madrassa Islamic schools to preach hate in Australia, New Zealand, UK, America and Canada, while no one from these countries are allowed to fund a church, synagogue or religious school in Saudi Arabia or any other Arab country to teach love and tolerance..
I’m tired of hearing wealthy athletes, entertainers and politicians of all parties talking about innocent mistakes, stupid mistakes or youthful mistakes, when we all know they think their only mistake was getting caught. I’m tired of people with a sense of entitlement, rich or poor.
I’m also tired and fed up with seeing young men and women in their teens and early 20’s be-deck themselves in tattoos and face studs, thereby making themselves unemployable and claiming money from the Government.
And I’m sick and tired of seeing young kids walking down the streets looking like idiots with their underwear showing.
Yes, I’m tired. But I’m also glad to be 72 because I’m not going to have to see the world these people are making.
Nobody Notes—If you can figure out what the heck Project Zero is, you are a genius. To me, it looks like an excuse to pour gobs of money down meaningless holes in order to make a bunch of professors very rich.
Nobody Remembers Ngo Dinh Diem
Nobody Remembers
HA! Obama backed the wrong man in Egypt, the place has gone nuts, and he has to come out today and acted like he had nothing whatsoever to do with it. It’s a big mess.
(Sigh.) Obama helped Mohamed Morsi by sending him millions of dollars (some estimates 2 billion) and 20 advanced jets, while Morsi was saying things against the United States. He backed a Jew hating, Christian hating, American hating, horrible thug of a man, who forced a strict Islamic Constitution on his people, and I wish I could say that Nobody Remembers this happening before, but before Morsi, there was Ngo Dinh Diem.
You remember him don’t you? He was the little squirt of a guy that we backed in Vietnam, even after Eisenhower advisers called him ‘hopeless,’ and the French prime ministers Edgar Faure called him, “not only incapable, but mad.” That didn’t stop John F. Kennedy from claiming that Diem’s regime was “The cornerstone of the free world in Southeast Asia, the keystone to the arch, the finger in the dyke.’
Lyndon Johnson compared him to Churchill.
Nobody Notice:—Before the Vietnam War the United States had not been ‘attacked’ by the communists of North Vietnam, unlike on 9/11, or Pearl Harbor. But, our great leaders had to come up with something. Communism was coming after us OVER THERE if we didn’t go OVER THERE to stop it. Sound familiar? (The Jihadist will come over here if we don’t go over there to stop it. )
My neighbor might come OVER here and steal my lawn mower if I don’t go over to his house and nail his garage door shut.
(Nobody Thinks they must teach these political guys all the lines at conferences on World BS 101.)
Why did the democrats pick Diem? He was a devout Catholic who had seen years in exile in New Jersey. (Mohamed Morsi had been a professor in California!) South Vietnam was 95 percent Buddhist….and he was all about ruling, not as a democracy but as an autocratic dictator with his family and friends in control. Pretty much what the Muslim Brotherhood does. Rule by Theocratic Thugs.
Nhu, his brother became the head of the secret police. And his wife was a real peach. Madame Nhu abolished divorce and made adultery a crime. She banned contraceptives, beauty contest, and boxing matches. She closed Saigon’s nightclubs and ballrooms…in Saigon. Not that the place didn’t need a bit of cleaning up, but….let’s just say Morsi would have loved her.
In other words, Diem believed in divine rule, (like Morsi) and he was divine.
One CIA guy said Diem was…”Very prissy. Very authoritarian,. Rather pompous.”
And just like a good democrat, he held an election and claimed himself victory with 98 percent of the vote….(NO doubt he learned that in Jersey) Of course, it was a lie. He bought his own troops into Saigon to vote. He stuffed ballot boxes. We spend a million dollars a day propping up this guy.
Diem was one of the main reasons we ‘lost’ the war in Vietnam, and a whole generation of American man lost their lives. Not to mention, the millions that were killed by the communists afterwards.
But..Presidents don’t think of these things, evidently.
One of the worst ideas Diem had, that drove his own people into the arms of the communists , was his “strategic hamlet” program. Peasants were forced from their native villages, to move into fortified villages that were often miles from their fields or markets. It was basically forced labor. The French had given the farmers free land, but then Diem made them pay for the land they already had. And just like Mohamed Morsi.. the things people needed— like hospitals, schools, social services, jobs… etc, he ignored. Many people joined the Viet Cong just to “get Diem.”
The people, like people everywhere, just wanted to be left alone.
So here’s the pattern. The United States picks some leader they think will be under their control, they send them BILLIONS, and everything under the sun, and then that guy turns around and $&% us.
Have you noticed the pattern?
Later on, Diem’s own cabinet, noticing the suffering of the people, offered modest reforms to him. He got so mad he closed newspapers, and arrested journalists— students, calling everyone who went against him a communist. (Morsi did this too. )
Diem continued to get billions from the United States, and funneled that money into his personal military and police to protect himself from his own citizens rather than to fight the Viet Cong.
Diem was a ‘puppet who pulled his own strings.’ Sort of like Karsi, only he didn’t wear a stupid cape.
And while Diem was playing King, Kennedy, in direct violation of the Geneva agreement sent in our military. When, troops, advisers, and 47 helicopters were already going on bombing missions, Kennedy was asked in a news conference on January 15, 1962, if the United States were engaged in Vietnam.
His one world answer was “no.”
In the meantime, Diem went in hiding and let his brother, Nhu, run the show. And then Nhu, turned on the Buddhists. They told them they could not fly their flag.
Then , one day, Diem’s men fired upon a Buddhist crowd killing a woman and 8 children. The Buddhists starting protesting. Madame Nhu blamed the Americans. No, Madame Nhu was not proud of her country..(.If only she could have talked to Michelle. )
On June 11, an old Buddhist protested Deim’s treatment of the Buddhists by setting himself on fire. Diem then declared martial law and sent his loyal forces to attack Buddhist temples in cities throughout the country. They arrested monks and nuns. Morsi has done the very same thing to the Christians in Egypt.
When the United States threatened to stop giving Deim and Nhu money, Nhu started working with the communists. Nhu’s own general worked with the United States and they …were …uh…killed. Nobody Knows who killed them, but the jungle is a good guess. ( Or…they’re drinking champagne back in New Jersey.)
It took twelve more years, to end that war. We lost 58,286 KIA, 153,303, WIA. And millions of South Vietnamese were killed after we left.
And so, Obama gave Morsi billions, and Morsi did exactly what Ngo Dinh Diem did. He forgot the people, and started to repress them all. Now his men are killing Christians. And Obama is condemning, NOT the Muslim brotherhood, but the military that is killing the people KILLING Christians.
Go figure. .
And so, will Obama keep backing the Muslim Brotherhood, as he now backs Al-Qaeda in Syria? Will the poor people in Egypt who are just trying to get the Muslim Brotherhood out of their government get a fair support from OUR media?
Is that a stupid question or what?
No Big Gulps Will Be Allowed in Your Mini-Unit
Nobody Wins
When the social engineers get together, they have visions of a future where ALL the money is at the top. So, they have to figure out how to house the millions that are going to be coming across the border to fill up the cities, because these people are going to be working as dish washers for the rich, for the rest of their lives…at the bottom. Housing prices being what they are in New York— it presents a problem.
The great Michael Bloomberg has come up with a solution: it’s called the Mini Unit. Basically…it’s a dog house.
A dog house where a big gulp would create a disaster, because the space is so small if you spilled it on your bed, your TV would fry.
It got to be tough to be an elite. They all share so much guilt. They have mansions on every shore, in every nation, and darn it, they want to help stuff that little guy into the city. After all, according to the masters of the universe, they have to deal with global warming whether the rest of the planet wants to believe in it or not. So the answer is: get those people stuffed into the cities. Get them out of the John Wayne wide open country, where they can own acres of their own land, and own cows that fart.
Which is why the United States keeps buying up all the land it can afford, along with Ted Turner. Seed clouds and cause floods, start fires, manipulate the weather…anything to get those people with all those lovely suburban homes..to move. It’s a hard job, but somebody got to do it so save the planet.
The object is to get everyone BACK…into the cities, and make it a very hip thing to do!
Japan has got us beat in this market. Since they have all those people stuffed into that little island, they came up with the answer: The Japanese Mini apartment. It has just enough room for you to lay down and sleep. After all, work is your main priority in life, so why does the Japanese man or woman need a garden, or even a kitchen? All they need to do is work. In the U.S. they are making sure you have enough room to watch TV. Because TV is important. How else are you going to know what you are suppose to think about? Besides, most of us are three times the size of the Japanese who eat nothing but fish.
Well, somebody has goofed in this marketing project to stuff all of humanity into little dog houses, because in the latest issue of Psychology Today I came upon an article which contained a few important facts about why people don’t want to live in the city. I truly hope this doesn’t get out:
1. Higher buildings have a negative effect on the way we handle the daily grind. In evolutionary terms, we don’t like to be in a lot of tall buildings because we dislike enclosed spaces because they made it difficult for our ancestors to spot threats. (Nope, you can’t see that politicians coming at you when you live on the 85th floor.)
2. Nobody likes everything looking the same. A varied landscape may help create a sense of exploration, discovery, and engagement. (In other words, put everyone in the same cubicle, that will stop them from thinking about how we are going to be making them all even dumber.)
3. Nature is known to have a calming effect on the mind. More greenery may help people regain focus after a frenetic day. (Right, after work, go take a walk down the block, and maybe you’ll see a potted palm in the lobby of the Trump Hotel)
Do you see where this will be taking humanity?
You see, living in the city isn’t what it’s carved up to be. It’s the reason the whole nation moved out to the suburbs. We happen to be animals…and love nature. I swear to god, the REAL reason I never became the first Madonna is because when I went out to Los Angles to make it famous, I just HAD to leave. Finding a tree in Los Angles is like trying to find a Christian in Mecca. Fame and fortune were not worth depriving myself of years of my beloved trees.
We grew up around nature. You would think the rich elites would understand that it’s important to our nature to all live in small towns, where we can feel as one with our land. Just ask Ted Turner. He owns land in nine states, and most of the state of Utah, where he manages to furnish it all with all the wildlife he can muster.
People are not allowed.
The future social engineers want us all to move back into the city, and they are working hard to make everyone “gay” and “single” so that, they have a nation of lonely idiots feeling really lucky to be a part of the collective hive. And so…voila! The NYC Mini Unit is being promoted by Michael Bloomberg as the future of New York.
And what IS the future of New York?
It will no longer be called the Big Apple. Nope, in the future it will be known as Bloomberg’s Mini-nut farm. And he will STILL be there as head nut.
Nobody Flashes: Don’t Read Old Magazines
Nobody Flashes
I was throwing out an old magazine today, and it had some interesting ‘fun facts’ about St. Louis. (I live in a northern suburb.)
The book was published in 1998. Here’s a copy of a list of employment facts for 1998:
St. Louis Largest Single Employers Ranked by Number of Employees:
More than 10,000:
1. Boeing co. /2. BJC Health system/ 3. Unity Health System /4. Schnucks Markets Inc./ 5. U.S. Air Force
This year, 2013, Boeing has lost half it’s employees, and the U.S. Air Force is GONE: Schnucks market just suffered a vicious cyber attack. It’s family owned. The hospitals are still standing.
5,000-9,999 Employees
1. Washington University /2. SSM Healthcare System /3. Southwestern Bell Telephone /4. Trans World Airlines/ 5. Chrysler Corp. Assembly /6. St. Louis University/ 7. May Department Store Co./ 8. St. Louis Public Schools/ 9. NationsBank/ 10. U. S. Postal Service
Washington University used to be the leader in Medical research and science. Now, most of the courses are in Social Science. The cost is $40.000 a semester. Trans World Airlines: GONE. Southwestern Bell…not exactly Apple. Chrysler is GONE. May Department Store went bankrupt, GONE. The U.S. Postal Service is on its way out. But the school system has grown by leaps and bounds.
2,000-4,999 Employees
1 General Motors Corp. Assembly /2. Anheuser Busch Companies Inc./ 3. Deaconess Incarnate World Health Systems./ 4. Olin Corp /5. At & T
General Motors Corp: GONE. Anheuser Bush was sold to an international buyer. Southwestern Bell…not exactly Apple.
The Olin corporation which makes ammunition is moving it’s operation to Mississippi where there is union-free work.
So after the devastation, what is left? I have watched my city die. And I’m NOT supposed to be depressed? If you are thinking of moving to St. Louis or Detroit:…don’t bother.
So, despite what Obama is telling you, the job market is gasping due to politicians. You’re life choice is slim unless you go into education or Health care or fast food.
Where do you think al the new illegal’s are going to get jobs?
Remembering Our Presidents
Nobody Remembers
Once again, the timing of the dedication of x-President, George W. Bush’s library, couldn’t have had come at a more propitious time. The nation had just been attacked by Muslim radicals, giving the Bush family a platform to remind us all, that Bush kept us safe throughout the rest of his Presidency after 9/11. And in this light, it was okay for George himself to push for another Bush in the White House: His brother, Jeb.
As I watched the former Presidents all standing, and then the speeches, I can’t say that any one of them talked about what THEY had done for our country. It was all about how they, while doing the ‘toughest’ job in the world…changed the world, and plan to keep on doing it.
Not much about helping America. No mention of the hard times we are going through now.
I posted Jimmy Carter’s speech, simply because to me, what all of the former Presidents seem to be most proud about is what they have accomplished in other countries. That’s all they bragged about in all their speeches. According to the former Presidents, Bush’s best legacy was his work on aids in Africa. Clinton, Carter, and Obama all mentioned it.
George W. himself continued his great theme of globalization. America’s future is to spread democracy around the world. Never mind that since Bush and Obama, the trillions of American dollars spent to spread democracy around the world has not done a damn thing but strengthen more tyrants and America haters abroad, and destroyed the economy at home.
The theme of Bush’s library is freedom. But…while he dreams of spreading freedom all over the world, in America, the citizens continue to lose theirs.
The Bush doctrine is that only in freedom will democracy flourish, while true and noble….it makes no sense to a religion based on anything BUT freedom. All the children of Islam are brainwashed before they start to walk. I guess Bush thinks sometime 3,000 years from now, the world’s population of Muslims will decide to vote for someone who goes against everything they’ve learned from birth, and will thank George Bush for saving them from poverty and giving them democracy.
Frankly, I don’t see it happening.
Nobody Thinks that the reason all these Presidents have to praise themselves on how what they personally did to further and help the world is because none of them have down a damn thing to help Americans. All of them are too busy helping the rest of the world. Globalization may make good speeches and wonderful ideas for American Presidents who build multi-billion dollar museums to themselves and keep their own families working forever, but they all just become another part of the 1 percent that live among the rich and famous. The Presidential museums will be the last remaining things standing if we keep on this “We will fix the world” path.
George W. Bush comes off as a very sweet and likable man, but so does Bill Clinton. But, they were paid to work for America…not to eliminate poverty all over the world because it makes them feel better about themselves. (Or helps out big corporations who want into the global markets.) We must not judge Presidents on how much we like them as people, but on what they have done for us. And let’s be frank: None of them can be considered great.
So, when Bush started crying at the end of his speech— when he said the future of America will be great…a lot of us felt like crying with him. Everyone said he was crying because of all his friends. But to those watching, he was crying because America might never recover, and he knows it.
Personally, I don’t think Bush is that dumb.
Instead of talking about what they have all done for America, all they could talk about is how much money they sent out to the rest of the world. It’s enough to make you mad. And we still have good men dying in Afghanistan.
After the ceremony, I came across this video of Daniel Hannan, explaining how Margaret Thatcher took a dying England and brought it back to life. It’s what we need here. A President that takes care of his country: FIRST.
That’s what we should have heard today: George W. Bush could have brought America’s strength back. Instead, he choose his own course of “saving the world.”..and because he chose the wrong course, the communists, came forward.
George…you broke my heart.
You know, maybe our “Presidents” should just start building their libraries in Africa, and Iraq, and all over the world. And I apologize tonight to anyone who feels I’m too cynical about them all, because frankly my dear, I don’t give a damn about any of them.
And I will spend the rest of my life, trying NOT to remember the years I spent feeling betrayed, by each and every one of them.
