I knew it was pretty bad in Australia, but THIS BAD? We Americans love the Aussies, and this is…almost…unforgivable.

Our leaders are crying for this same treatment here.

Thanks Paul, for letting us know what OUR media fails to tell us.

God help them all.

  1. Yo ! I is ‘ere. Knackered as ever but here, none the less.

    Now, Oz. That woman pictured, a health bureaucrat, is a harridan who is getting on my wick. She scowls from the moment she gets out of bed, strains on the loo, scrubs and scrapes her scales in the shower, grimmaces for the toothbrush (a vary large size one) and kicks her way into her knickers. No-one elected her. She was appointed to the job when Louis Pasteur was in high school and is paid a fortune. Her superannuation would make most normal folk swoon. And she NEVER has a nice thing to say. It is always YOUR fault.

    But then let us look at what JPW says about the military. They ain’t in the streets other than delivering groceries. Let’s not think there is a coup in progress. Why are they doing that, you might ask. Well the grocery delivery drivers are all in friggin’ lockdown, innit? Oh, and they are walking around with the police, doing ‘contact tracing’. Cops here go around in two’s, usually a five foot sod-all girl and a burly bloke who guards her from ‘remarks’. Both carry guns of course in case they come across a motorist or a granny sitting on a park bench more them a mile from home. But now each cop (even the burley ones) are given a troop, to double the numbers. Many of the troops though, especially those with the burly bloke cops, are in high heels and claim transgender status. For Status’ it is in the Oz armed forces. The ‘T’ troops are a cut above the ‘G’ and ‘L’ and ‘B’ ones, and even the Muslim ones.

    For those that might enquire there are only four Catholics left in the Oz military and ten white males of hetero persuasion, but we have more Generals than the next five major-gen countries combined.

    Still, it will be spring soon. Here in Tasmania we have been sitting back largely undisturbed, shutting out most everyone from the mainland and overseas. A sort of self-run prison, just like the old days.

  2. I know. I wonder too. I think he is just on Facebook now, and he’s moved several times, so I can’t call him.

    When I get some time, maybe I can find out from a friend of his how to get in touch with him.

    I miss him too.

    I’ve been hearing about this the last couple of days… By the way, whatever happened to Amfortas? He hasn’t commented in a really long time and I’ve seen nothing on his blog since 2019…

      • Sorry Amfortas,
        I’ve been getting ready for our daughter, son-in-love, and our two grands to come visit the last few days, and I’ve barely checked e-mail since I commented! 😉 (They arrived safely in the middle of the night while I was, thankfully, sleeping.)

        Glad to read you’re still around; your comments have made me smile on more than one occasion and are usually spot on! Don’t be such a stranger now. Joyanna and I’ve missed your insight and comments. 🙂

        I forget that your seasons are the opposite of ours ~ we’re in the midst of a relatively mild summer season this year (it’s in the mid 70s today and raining, though it’s been in the 90s all week). I can only hope that our autumn is as nice. Enjoy your upcoming spring! 🙂
