Just a shout out to my Aussie friend who lives in Australia…and whom I believe said this is not happening where he lives.
So, Amforats…is this real? Fake? Only once in a while? What’s going on there?

I am a nobody. If the different classes of America were color-coded, I would be in the yucky brown, one rung up from the bottom. I grew up in Naples, Florida and live near the Mississippi River now with my husband and two dogs. I am part of the slowly disappearing middle-class. I was a musician most of my life: drummer/singer/keyboards—but I retired before the plastic surgery flu hit. I have no degrees, which could be a good thing…depending on how you view our educational system. I do have three patents…but that really doesn’t make me a somebody. The one thing that is constant in my life is my OPINIONS, which i have more than perhaps even Carl Sagan could have imagined…mostly political. (yes…my ancestors were crabby buggers)
Hopefully other nobody’s will put their opinions on my site. But, if you happen to be a somebody, you’re more than welcomed to help out.
It’s my Nobody Opinion that Nobody’s Perfect, and Nobody Cares, that Nobody Knows why Nobody Wins, and when that happens, Nobody Wonders, why Nobody Flashes, why Nobody’s Fooled, but then Nobody remembers that Nobody ALWAYS Reports the truth.

It depends, m’dear, on what ‘it’ is that is said to be going on and what in fact isn’t. This happened. There it is on video. It is appalling and has become so typical of Melbourne, Victoria where the reputation of the police force has become sullied. Even the major part of Victoria – the rural mostness of the State does not experience such heavy, intolerant handling. But this and much worse has been seen coming from what was until very recently, the “”most livable city in the world””, and it is inexcusable
Now, perspective. That is one city. Do we refer to ‘the USA’ when taking just of Baltimore? Only when being idle of thought.
I have not seen anything like that atrocious behaviour in Tasmania.
Australians used to be called ‘laid back’, and ‘larrikin’. That was before multiculturalism. Now we are becoming cowed.

Good to know it’s not all over. That’s NOT what they are reporting here. Of course, that’s because the U.S. press is mostly heavy propaganda. It’s very hard to tell what’s true, and what’s not. What is true is that most of our small businesses have closed for good. And they plan to keep it up. Thanks for letting us know amfortas. What worries me here is that way too many of the people still think that everything will be …okay. They are in for a big shock I’m afraid.

While I say that much that is happening in the US is not happening here, we are on the same slippery slope, sliding fast with pants catching fire, just with different civic scenery flashing by.
We have not had the riots and mayhem in the streets, nor the breakdown of political systems to anything like the extent. But we are moving so fast to a fascist-communist state, mainly due to the Australian lack of hurry, effort, concern and care. We are laid back in the tumbrils here, chewing hay stalks.
What is probably more easily visualisable, is China taking over Oz rather than the USA.
