Nobody's Opinion

Nobody Remembers the Depression of 1740

Nobody Remembers

Well…I just can’t wait to pay twenty dollars for a pound of hamburger, can you? Here we are, in a modern depression, where we can charge up our debt just like our govenment…and Nobody Wonders…We remember the great depression of the 1930’s, but was there one we forgot? Well who knew? We had a big one in 1740.

There is a feeling among the Brits, that America was wrong for wanting to leave the motherland to which it came from. This feeling is very common among the British people.

So, Nobody Asks...What exactly started that whole mess? Was it just King George being a ninny? Or was there a little more to it?

Here’s a few paragraphs from the book: Sam Adams: Pioneer in Propaganda by John C. Miller

The Revolution was at first caused by…guess what? A major depression.

In 1740, it was clear that a popular upheaval was imminent in the colony. It was over an old scheme called the “Land Bank” which promised hard-pressed farmers and town mechanics a Utopia of paper money backed by real estate. The promoters of the land Bank were frankly inflationist’s who proposed to bring back prosperity by flooding the country with paper bills and at the same time, to “humble the Merchants” by taking the control of currency out of their hands.

(Can you say Federal Reserve? Can you say…Barney Frank? )

It was in 1740 that the colony (Boston) reached the crisis of an economic depression. Throughout the greater part of the century, the lack of a stable currency embittered Massachusetts politics and divided parties on class lines: debtors against creditors, and inflationist against the “sound money” mercantile aristocracy. As commerce began to decline and farmers and town artisans found themselves in a “pretty Pickle” because of the currency shortage, hostility mounted everywhere in the colony against the wealthy Boston merchants who by paying their debts in England with colonial silver made the scarcity more acute at home. Two distinct social classes were arrayed against each other by the inflationist sentiment that had swept over the colony.

It came down to who would control the colony.

The point is: Our economy is only going to get worse before the election.  And with this year’s drought, who knows how bad it will get? If history repeats itself, there will be a change in “rulers.”

Will Paul Ryan then join in with Rand and Ron Paul to pass a bill to audit OUR inflationary Federal Reserve Kings?

Nobody Knows.

Will the Brits ever forgive us for breaking free and forming our own country?

Don’t count on it.  Nobody Thinks we’ll get hit by a comet first.

Nobody’s Fool: Gov. Jan Brewer

Nobody’s Fool.

Jan Brewer is still fighting Obama. (see recent video here.)

For too long, the illegal immigrant have been stealing our money, food, jobs, and health care. Redistribution from hard-working Americans to illegal immigrants has been happening for too many years. The laws are being ignored, and Bush was just as guilty of this migration as Obama is today.

BUT…Bush did not give them amnesty. Obama has.

So Jan is one of the few, along with Joe Apaio, fighting the administration. Most Americans agree with her. All they have to do is cross the border and they get free child care, free medical care, free education, free food, and social security benefits.

The massive invasion of undocumented immigrants in this country is the final nail in the coffin of “America.” We protect the borders of Afghanistan but not our own. Is it any wonder our soldiers are committing suicide? Why do they fight?

Jan Brewer is not going down without a fight. She is NO fool, and she is standing up to the great ‘Obama.’

God bless her. Arizona is lucky to have her. It’s the President who is committing treason here, not Jan Brewer.

This from today’s news:

Legal experts say they expect a court challenge to Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer’s order denying driver’s licenses and public benefits to young undocumented immigrants who qualify to stay in the U.S. under a new Obama administration program. In addition to driver’s licenses, Brewer’s order bars undocumented immigrants who qualify for the deportation reprieve from public benefits that include state-subsidized child care; KidsCare, a children’s health-insurance program; unemployment benefits; business and professional licenses and government contracts,

Obama: Putting the Chinese BACK TO WORK…right here.

Nobody’s Perfect

Obama’s still talking about how his main preoccupation will be  “PUTTING AMERICA BACK TO WORK!”

But here we see, Obama’s putting Chinese workers to work…IN AMERICA.

Is he confused?

One thing is for sure, while too many dumb Americans are buying his big outright lies, Obama has the art of lying down almost to perfection.

Watch, and if you’re a union member…kick yourself for being so dumb.

You know if ABC is getting wise to him, his lying is slacking.

Nobody’s Fool: Thomas Sowell

Nobody’s Fool

I came upon this man almost by accident. My mother ordered a publication called Newsmax around the year 2000, and I started reading it. It’s there that I found a man with so much wisdom, and common sense, that I literally started waking up to what was going on around me. This was back when President Clinton was shaking his finger at the American people.

Just last week, in his usual Radom Thoughts column he had these two things to say:

If we wake up some morning and find some American cities in radioactive ruins, courtesy of a nuclear Iran, nobody is going to care whether the president who lets this happen is the first black president or the last WASP president. But, in the meantime, many people will keep on voting for symbolism, as if an election is a popularity contest, like choosing a college’s Homecoming Queen or Parade Marshal.

Two reports came out in the same week. One was from the Pentagon, saying that, in just a few years, Iran will be able to produce not only a nuclear bomb but a missile capable of carrying it to the United States. The other report said that the American Olympic team has uniforms made in China. This latter report received far more attention, both in Congress and in the media.

While I read many different books and magazines, internet blogs, etc…I have yet to find a man whose wisdom exceeds that of Thomas Sowell. To me, he is right up there with Mark Twain as an American Journalistic Icon. He is forever more— Nobody’s Fool.

Nobody’s Perfect: Harry Reid VS Ralph Lauren

Nobody’s Perfect

Not many people know, that the mob built Las Vegas with the money from the Union pensions in Chicago. Knowing that, will help explain why Harry Reid, Democratic Senator and former mayor of Las Vegas and also the Gaming Commissioner, would make such a stink about the uniforms of our Olympic athletes, because they were  “Made in China.”

That’s how FAR the Democrats have to stretch to try to get voters to feel that they “care” about that little man whose job went to China. The ONLY playing card the Democrats  have we are seeing, is to make people think that Mitt Romney will send jobs overseas. What jobs he is sending overseas is another wonder because there are not many left. The only other playing card they have is the race card, and Harry used that today:

“If this flood of outside money continues, the day after the election, 17 angry old white men will wake up and realize they’ve just bought the country.”

(Never mind that Obama has more ‘outside’ money coming in, and most of that money is from dark- skinned communists.)

Really Harry? Is your name on that list? You’re old and white…What number are you? Are you going to give us those 17 names?

I didn’t think so.

Harry wants you to think that HE’s not racist, but— he once had to apologize to Obama—to whom he referred as being “light-skinned” and “with no Negro dialect, unless he wanted to have one”.

Spoken like a true kid who grew up without an outhouse.

Now, let’s compare Harry Reid to Ralph Lauren…a Jewish boy from New York (Maybe Harry doesn’t like Jews) who made a fortune on his own, with his own hard work. He is a world famous designer, and he plans to take those uniforms and sell them to the whole world in all of his stores.

Well..Of COURSE he does! He’s a dirty capitalist! And even though they could be made here, Ralph Lauren was picked to design them, because he has the connections to put that uniform all over the world in all his shops. That’s a global– “branding of America,” and that’s not all bad.

Look at it. It looks like Thurston Howard III stepped off Gilligan’s Island. It’s a good old boy’s club yachting uniform, with a French beret. The French have given Ralph Lauren many awards, so he trying to please both countries. The only thing Harry should criticized about those uniforms are those stupid hats.

Harry also might be a bit perturbed that even though Ralph Laruen has given $7,300 to Obama since 2008, and more than $35, 000 to the Democratic National Committee, his son David Lauren married Lauren Bush, granddaughter of G.W. Bush.

That’s gotta hurt any democrat…all that money…merging.

On the other hand, Reid has done well for himself as a public “servant.” In 2005, he got a spending bill to provide for building a bridge between Nevada and Arizona that would make his land more valuable…and he has helped ruin the country by helping to make Obamacare the law of the land.

For THAT crime, Harry should be banned to China.

Nope. ..Ralph Lauren’s only crime is knowing how to make clothes that lots of people want.

With Harry, on the other hand, we can expect a lot more ridiculous statements like this:

“I think it is much easier to be a good member of the Church and a Democrat than a good member of the Church and a Republican.” (Huh?)

If Harry Reid is a good Mormon, than Jeffery Dalmer was a choir boy.

So– Harry wins our Nobody’s Perfect for this week…because, Nobody Knows that Harry would never complain about a solid gold bra made with 500 carets of diamonds, on our Olympic representatives if it was made in America…would you Harry?

Someday, what stayed in Las Vegas, is going to get out.

Megyn Kelly Goes Greece

Nobody Wins

Megyn  Kelly was beside herself on FOX this morning. Her eyebrows were practically touching the back of her head as she questioned the “expert” (they have experts for everything) on how in the world were we as a country, not going to go off the “cliff” of economic no-return?

How? How? Why…the only way to solve it, said Megyn, is for Social Security to be cut…and people to retire later…otherwise, America is doomed. By the end of the interview, both Megyn and her expert agreed…nothing was ever going to change because no politician would do the unthinkable: reform Social Security.

Well Paul Ryan did, but I guess she didn’t think of him.

But they are right. There are more than 90 million retiring baby boomers in the country who worked hard all their lives, and they feel that since that money was taken OUT of their paychecks, (With no say in it from them.) they deserve it back.  It’s not fair that their S.S. is going to illegals and thier babies. Obama knows this, and he plays to those exact sentiments. Nobody is sure some older people think he is going to save it for them.

Ha. Ha…ha.

The power thieves in Washington have stolen it from them, and now fiscal Armageddon is being created in all our cable networks once again…to convince the “people” that they need to sacrifice some more for the common good.

It’s communism 101, with a big O in the middle, sold with the American flag waving.

Hey…We didn’t run up that deficit…YOU did, we say!  But…Washington takes our hard earned money and sends it to the great Baal in the sky…and god knows where else.  They are never accountable for any of it.  I remember Secretary Donald Rumsfeld a few years ago announcing that many billions were missing in the defense budget one afternoon.

“We just don’t know where it went.” he said.

And we all sigh, drink our coffee, and work another day. Yet, you try losing a few thousand dollars from the IRS. You will go to jail.

We…put up with it. Tell me…why?

For those of us in the private sector, it’s like being punished twice, for somebody else’s crime. The banks gambled,…and our politicians took OUR money to bail them out, just so that the people who make their money from “dividends” could keep the money rolling in.

—Or so it looks to the poor guy. There are three classes now: Those who live off dividends: those who have to get up and go to work for a paycheck: and those who live off the ones who go to work for a paycheck.

America, OUR politicians–have  spent way too much money on wars in countries where the normal guy on the street really didn’t see any threat.

Vietnam? Really…what a waste. Iraq? A waste. Afghanistan?  Well, there’s gold in them thar hills, but it’s China that’s getting it.

And…I don’t know if you have noticed, but the war drums are beating again: Children are dying in Syria. All the networks, are showing the devastation…as if we are being programmed to accept the next war, because it’s for the “children.”  This video shows the heavy cost of war, but the end is misleading. Health care is going to cost just as much if not more, than our “wars.” in the long run. Social Security was going to cost just a few million in the beginning. Looked what it morphed into.

The Baby Boomers say: Hey…Before you cut our measly Social Security benefits, cut the stuff you don’t need: Tillions are wasted in fraud. Government workers are getting paid too much, and their pensions are way out of line with the public sector. Even that playing field. Get rid of half of the government agencies that you don’t need. Reform welfare, food stamps, Medicare, get rid of pork. Cut the pay of politicians.

When Steve Jobs went back to Apple, he fired half the employees, and Apple became number one.

Cut the fat. Kick out the U.N., they are a bunch of money-sucking thieves. Get our military out of every country. Let the Europeans fend for themselves.

We need to rebuild.

Unite the people. Cut out this “global-we are one world citizens” stuff.  Put America and its people firstYou can’t help your neighbor if you are starving.

These are simple rules any fool would do… And yet—

History repeats itself. Dictators get into power…and then their people starve. Every President since Ronald Regan has grabbed more power and ended up being more arrogant than the one before.

Power really does corrupt, and we can really see it in Obama eyes with our big screen TV’s.

I once asked a very rich man that I was dating if he ever worried about money.

“Sure…just like you. Have you any idea what it cost to send your children to Harvard? We worry…we just have bigger bills. “

Nobody Thinks that it could be the same old problem. Money is relative.  The rich don’t want to lose their billions either: so they con the politicians to get the masses pay for everything.

Yes, Megyn had that “deer in the headlight” look on her face. Nobody hopes…she was just trying to scare up the ratings. Nobody Says, “Don’t you worry Megyn…you will be…just fine.” It’s the rest of us that have to worry.

Nobody’s Email: Remember Keystone?

Nobody Gets Email:

Here’s a rather interesting email I got a few weeks ago…It’s a copy of a memo written to Valero Employees…a major oil company, and their reaction to Obama’s decision to block oil production in the United States.

Brazil, on the other hand, he’s all for.

(Thanks to Tom Beebe)

******************

For those of you unfamiliar with Valero, it is an independent oil company based in San Antonio, TX. It owns 2 refineries, but no oil fields–it buys all the oil it refines and processes via contract or on the open market.

Its origin was as a public utility providing natural gas to the city of San Antonio, but it has grown to be a significant gasoline retailer in a good portion of the southeast and southwest, as well as a purveyor of natural gas.

It is a significant economic force in Texas, even in light of the other majors (Shell, Exxon, Mobil, etc.) based in the state. This memo to employees is a realistic insight into the economic importance of the proposed XL pipeline.

Date: January 24, 2012

 To: Valero Employees

From: Bill Klesse

Subject: Keystone XL Pipeline Statement

As you know, the Obama administration decided last week to deny TransCanada’s application to ship crude oil via the Keystone XL pipeline from Canada to the Gulf Coast. Valero has planned to be a shipper and purchaser of that oil since 2008, and obviously we were disappointed in the decision. We issued a statement in response to questions from the media, and I wanted to share it with you in case you get questions from friends or business partners, and so that you would know why Valero supports the Keystone XL pipeline. This is the statement.

Despite the uncertainty and political fighting over the Keystone XL pipeline, Valero has continued to invest in its U.S. refining operation. In 2011 we spent nearly $3 billion on projects, and for 2012 our capital expenditure budget is over $3 billion. These expenditures are keeping our employees on the job and putting additional people to work. To reference two of our refineries, at Port Arthur, Texas, we have 1,600 contractors working on an expansion project, and at St. Charles Parish, Louisiana, we have another 1,000 contractors working on a separate project. We need this kind of economic activity to accelerate to help all Americans.

This illustrates why President Obama’s rejection of the Keystone XL pipeline is so absurd. There are pipelines in every neighborhood all across America. The administration’s decision was not about pipelines, it was about the misguided beliefs that Canadian oil sands development should be
stopped and that fossil fuel prices should increase to make alternative energy more attractive.

Instead, we should be impressed with how well the oil sands engineering and recovery technology has advanced, and the economic benefits this development brings. Having more oil available in the marketplace has the potential to lower prices for consumers. As an independent refiner, Valero buys all of the oil we process. Due to the administrations misguided policies, refiners like Valero will have to buy more oil from other sources outside the U.S. and Canada. Consumers will bear the additional shipping cost, not to mention the additional greenhouse gas emissions and political risks.

With all the issues facing our country, it is absolutely unbelievable our federal government says no to a company like TransCanada that is willing to spend over $7 billion and put Americans to work on a pipeline. The administration’s decision throws dirt into the face of our closest ally and largest trading partner.

The point above is that it is not about pipelines as many pipelines cross the Ogallala Aquifer, in the Great Plains region, and, in fact, there is already significant oil and gas production in the area covered by the aquifer.

This is politics at its worst.

Nobody’s Fool: Daniel Hannan–Again.

Nobody’s Fool

I searched all over this week for someone to post, in order to deliver an uplifting man or woman of the week, and I couldn’t find anyone who says so much in such little time as Daniel Hannan.

Truly, what in the world good happened this week in the news? The highlight was San Diego got to see 15 seconds of spectacular fireworks because of some computer disk malfuction. And since we were devoid of any kind of good news last week, (Fires, electric outages, storms, etc.) they had to spin a big incredible &$^% up, as being…a fun thing! So what if thousands of people sat for hours in traffic hoping for a show?  Wasn’t that cool they said?

We ARE amazing.

Nobody hopes our computers on our nuclear subs don’t do that trick.

Here Daniel makes the point that the EU is discussing women and homosexual rights, while the great EU Titanic ship is sinking. Our Congress is discussing boxing rules among all things. And then Daneil makes his on abservation as to why he thinks ‘people’ do the absurd.

Daniel is a one-man inspiration every  time he speaks. I don’t think this will be the last time he fills my Nobody’s Fool slot.

Enjoy!

Nobody WIns When GM Moves to China: Did You Pay For It?

Nobody Wins

I have a good friend who I am always kidding around with: “You just wait and see…the Chinese are coming to take us over!” She always just laughs at me…but she is the one who sent me this video.

You will not see this on any news station…..but it’s scary.

The mantra has been pontificated..by our elites…that globalization would bring democracy to China. But that’s not what is happening. Instead of us bringing democracy to China, China has plans to bring communism to the United States…and our big multinationals don’t care what government rules, as long as they have a bigger market. They love the “one person decides” rule because it speeds up their production-so they all say. In a democracy you have to wait for everyone to agree. Our government makes it difficult to do anything..too many regulations.

Notice the body language of the GM big wig. It’s almost…obedient. He is no longer an American. He now serves the state of China.

It won’t be long before he is replaced by a Chinese military official. Once they have all that they need in technology, what will keep them from kicking out all of the GM officials?

Not going to happen? Don’t be so sure. Remember, we elected a President with a foreign name.

Nobody’s Perfect: Jonathan Krohn VS Victoria Grant

Nobody’s Perfect

I first saw Jonathan Kroch when he was 14, on Fox News. It was clear he was some kind of genius, and the conservatives were thrilled to have such a small and talented little miniature future conservative politician walking among us. But, it seemed, like our Supreme Court leader, Mr. Roberts…Jonathan is no longer the conservative. The little genius has wandered into the German philosophers that ALL universities stuff the most promising minds with. It’s pure socialists propaganda…I know, I thought it was great stuff too when I first read it.

I got over it. Once you get OUT of that university, you realize that it’s a fantasy land, and the German philosophers are better off dead.

Thus Spoke…Nobody.

Here’s what the kid believes:

Gay marriage? In favor. Obamacare? “It’s a good idea.” Who would he vote for (if he could) in November? “Probably Barack Obama.” His favorite TV shows? “The Daily Show” and “The Colbert Report.” His favorite magazine? The New Yorker. And, perhaps telling of all, Krohn is enrolling this
fall at a college not exactly known for its conservatism: New York University.

“I started reflecting on a lot of what I wrote, just thinking about what I had said and what I had done and started reading a lot of other stuff, and not just political stuff,” Krohn said. “I started getting into philosophy — Nietzsche, Wittgenstein, Kant and lots of other German philosophers. And then into present philosophers — Saul Kripke, David Chalmers. It was really reading philosophy that didn’t have anything to do with politics that gave me a breather and made me realize that a log of what I said was ideological blather that really wasn’t meaningful. It wasn’t me thinking. It was just me saying things that I had heard so long from people that I thought were interesting and just came to believe for some reason, without really understanding it. I understood it enough to talk about it but not really enough to have a converstion about it.”

Trust me folks, the fact that he likes Obamacare shows that he doesn’t understand a thing he is reading, NOW either!

Now, compare him to this young girl, Victoria Grant. She is reading her opinions here, but it’s very obvious she understand it completely. She has much more common sense, and is not effected in the least, by the thrill of herself, as Jonathan is.

If I had to pick which one of these kids was going to go far in life, I’d would pick Jonathan. It’s obvious, he has the gift of gab….much like his favorite candidate, Obama. Nevertheless, fame isn’t everything.

Nobody Thinks the young girl…has the higher intellect.

Still, compared to the rest of the kids at their age, both of these young people are marvelous. When I was their age, I was wandering along the beaches at night, picking up seashells, and staring at the stars…

Nobody’s Fool: Justice Roberts

Nobody’s Fool

Nobody (me) was not very surprised today when the conservative top Supreme Court Judge, John Roberts, put on the court by George W. Bush, basically sided with a socialist President, went against all sanity and said that Obamacare not only was constitutional, but Congress could just gather all that money to pay for it, as a tax.

Why was I not surprised?

Because, my friends of so little memory— the Supreme Court has ruled against the Constitution before: They said that corporations were people—so that hundreds of big multinational companies and billionaires  could buy public offices. They threw out a citizens’ right to his property–one of the very basic rights fought for by our founders. Now, if a big company sees fit, they can just come in and take your property for the “good of the people”.

Those two unconstitutional things, didn’t hit too many people’s lives: THIS one does.

This is no surprise. I had a sinking feeling in my gut when Justice Roberts said that Justice Kagen didn’t have to excuse herself from this transformative decision.  Obviously, by law, she was required to do so. But he waved his hand and said, “Oh we’ll be fine.” That’s because he already knew what he was going to do.

So, why does he get the Nobody’s Fool award today? Everyone is upset— beyond themselves with horror at the ruling no one thought was possible. (Except the dingbats of course)  So why? According to all he is a traitor of freedom, justice, and the country.

Because— the judge just took a bullet for the “cause.” The cause being, the White House. I imagine it was for the Bush’s.

Ask yourself: Who benefits from this? What chess pieces were in play in this war for the control of power?

Who benefits? Mitt Romney.

Let’s just say that I believe Roberts took one for the big Rhinos. The globalists. The established Rockefeller/Bush dynasty that we have all witnessed in action. One by one, the people’s choice for a government ruled by the people was knocked off in the primaries. Rick Santorum, Ron Paul, Herman Cain, and Michelle Bachmann were all closer to the people. Not Mitt. He was the last pick of them all…and then viola…the nomination just fell right into his lap.

The big insurance companies will benefit from this, and we are all pretty much screwed.

Did you notice Obama’s speech was pretty lame? I honestly think he wasn’t expecting this. Everyone knew that Obamacare was clearly unconstitutional. The Rhino’s have just moved their chess piece

CHECKMATE, Mr. Obama. Your move. This wasn’t a victory for Obama, on the contrary, it’s a Trojan horse full of political lead.

Mitt Romney needs the tea party, who are still not sure of him. Watch for him to cater to that group, with lots of talk about the “founders.”  The race is close. If this had been overtruned, Mitt, who is not the liar or the speaker that Obama is, might have left one too many people staying home.

The Rhinos want the White House–it was a necessary move.

Would Roberts do such a thing for the ‘elites’ ?

He just did.

But, here’ s the question: Will Mitt do as he promised..repeal ObamaCare the day he gets in office?

Does he have that power? Will it stay regardless? Will other fascist chess pieces be moved to saddle America with high taxes forever with NIETHER party getting the blame? Both parties working for the people who pay them?

Is this all smoke and mirrors?

Do any of us trust our government anymore? I sure don’t.

Is it already too late? Nope. Never.

Justice John Roberts gets the Nobody’s Fool award for the week. He just gave Mitt the White House, unless Obama plays another card….

We shall see, what happens then.

Father’s: Endangered Species

Nobody’s Opinion

Wow. What a difference a few years make.  All week long the family was discussing where we were going to go on FATHER’S DAY.

“All the restaurants are going to be packed.” I said. “And the movies…We don’t want to have to miss our movie time because there are too many people at the movies.” I said..again. “I love to watch you guys play golf, but on FATHER’S DAY, the courses are going to be packed.”

You never get old enough to keep thinking America hasn’t changed.

My son kept saying…”Mom…it’s okay, it won’t be a problem.”

I was remembering every single FATHER’S DAY I had ever celebrated with my own dad, the half hour waiting at the restaurants: The crowded movie lines. I was having a brain freeze.

As usual, ‘Dad’ had nothing to say, as if he knew “mom.” It was best to just let mom go on and on…

When we got to the Mexican restaurant…it was a ghost town. Mind you, two years ago this restaurant would have been packed with families. There were more employees than customers. And this wasn’t in my neighborhood, but my son’s, where $400,000 dollar homes are the norm.

Still, I wasn’t convinced we would make it to the show:

“Let’s tell them we want to make a movie.”

“Mom, we have two hours…we’ll make it.”

Well, “Mom” wasn’t so sure. After all, just last night we had made plans to make an 8 o’clock event, and the restaurant we went to, took almost 45 minutes to get our food together. That restaurant wasn’t crowded either. There was no reason we could think of for the long wait, except they wanted us to drink more They wanted to keep people there to make the restaurant look busy on a Saturday night.

We missed the event.

My son was right. We made the movie, in time…no lines.  We walked right up to the ticket counter and found out that the starting time for the moviewas 45 minutes later than their website said.

My son got upset…he lives on his I-PHONE, and in his reality, everything on the net is fact.

“You should update your website.” he told the young ticket taker. You could tell she could have cared less, and why should she? She was working on FATHER’S DAY.

To kill the extra thirty minutes– the guys played video games, just like in the old days…

When we finally got into the theater, the movie had…besides us, three other people. It was the great blockbuster (or so the internet said) Prometheus.

Word of advice: Wait for it to come out..unless you are just a big 3-D fan.

On the way home from the movie, we got to talking about Obama…and the economy. “He won’t be reelected mom. Sure, all the left people will vote for him, but even some of them will look at their bank accounts. The independents will kick him out.”

“Are you going to vote?” I asked my son.

“No, why? It’s a waste of time. “

And that’s the problem. I had no good reason to suggest that he should vote. He seemed so sure that Obama would be kicked out without his vote…and that’s what I was afraid of. If Obama knows he will NOT be reelected, what will he do to stay in office? What war will he start? Is that why he is helping the Muslim Brotherhood?

Whatever Obama does, mom fears, it will be a lot worse than people not being able to eat at restaurants or go to movies.

I had to realize that FATHER’S DAY was going to be a thing of the past…not only because of the economy, but because good fathers…are disappearing, They have been kicked out of our society by the radical left, whose purpose was to feminize the population in order to get control of the kids.

It’s a fact that more single mothers head the households in America than fathers, and the men are struggling for work. Not the women. They all have high paying jobs as nurses and teachers..they work for the government. They are getting degrees.

Can it get worse?

You bet. My son is thirty: He desperately wants to have kids of his own. But his job is insecure, and all the women he meets are divorced with kids of their own, and their minds on their own careers. Men…are expendable to them. Many days I’m sure, he feels hopeless about ever finding someone who will just love him for who he is. And it breaks a mother’s heart, that my son might never find out what it’s like to be a dad, and the joy of having kids of his own. He’s having trouble, like millions of others, just trying to keep his house, and stay afloat.  I came home last night, more than mad at what the politicans have done to our future, our country, our hopes and dreams, then I have been in a long time. We don’t have to wait for the next generation to suffer, they are suffering now.

So, if you have a great dad, my Nobody advice is not new under the sun: make every day a FATHER’S DAY. They are a dying breed, God bless them all.

And that “Father” in the White House?

Let’s retire him to the golf course forever.

Voter Sewer Scare Tactics

Nobody Wins

Last Tuesday, all eyes were on Wisconsin, and so were mine. So when I went to vote Tuesday at my local police station..I had NO idea what we were voting on. The parking lot was packed: Wow, I thought to myself, must be something important on the ballot!”

As I was walking up, I spotted one of my swimming buddies and her mom. “MOM” wanted to vote. And I had to admire her spunk because she had a walker, and had quite a ways to walk…and walking wasn’t exactly an easy thing for her to do.

“So, what’s on the ballot?” I asked.

“Oh…you HAVE to vote yes!” said ‘Mom’. Everyone told me if we don’t, our rates will go sky high!”

Now, I don’t watch too much TV..but I noticed the “fear factor” right away. I saw BIG fear in Mom’s eyes. Obamacare was passed with the “fear factor”…the “stimulus” was passed with the “fear factor,” so I am always leery of anything that our “rulers” say if we DON’T pass the taxes…Hell will visit our doorway, with a couple of pit bulls salivating buckets of slim, and we will all die of Ebola.

And so, on the doorway, I looked and saw what we were voting on:

THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT – BOND ELECTION SIMPLE MAJORITY REQUIRED
 PROPOSITION Y

To comply with federal and state clean water requirements, shall The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District (MSD) issue its sewer revenue bonds in the amount of Nine Hundred Forty Five Million Dollars ($945,000,000) for the purpose of designing, constructing, improving, renovating, repairing, replacing and equipping new and existing MSD sewer and drainage facilities and systems, including sewage treatment and disposal plants, sanitary sewers, and acquisition of easements and real property—related thereto, the cost of operation and maintenance of said facilities and systems and the principal of and interest on said revenue bonds to be payable solely from the revenues derived by MSD from the operation of its wastewater sewer system, including all future extensions and improvements thereto?——YES NO

*****
(Well, so they want to update the whole sewer system, and WHY is that? Which means the cost will be passed onto the clients…right? And all future extensions will just be added without notice? )
*****

THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT – CHARTER AMENDMENT ELECTION SIMPLE MAJORITY REQUIRED

*****

PROPOSITION 1 Shall Article 2 of the Plan (Charter) of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District be amended to provide that the portion of the boundaries of the District that are located within St. Louis County shall be as described in records kept in the office of the Secretary-Treasurer of the District and no longer required to be contained in the text of the Plan? —YES NO

*****

(What? It goes into some office and is no longer required to be contained in the “text” of the Plan? What if I want to read the “test” of the plan? That doesn’t sound good. Does that mean the Secretary only gets to see it? )

*****

THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT – CHARTE AMENDMENT ELECTION SIMPLE MAJORITY REQUIRED

*****

PROPOSITION 2 Shall Articles 3 and 9 of the Plan (Charter) of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District be amended to (a) establish procedural requirements relating to the formation of sub districts within the District and the design, construction and funding of improvements in such subdistricts, and (b) establish the method for levying special benefit assessments, all subject to a vote of the property owners in the affected subdistricts?—YES NO

*****

(Yes, the property owners DO need to vote..but will we be reading this same Turkey gobble?)

*****

THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT – CHARTER AMENDMENT ELECTION SIMPLE MAJORITY REQUIRED

*****

PROPOSITION 3 Shall Article 3 of the Plan (Charter) of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District relating to powers of the District be amended to (a) permit the District to establish environmentally sustainable standards and practices, and (b) clarify the existing authority of the District to enter into contracts pertaining to stormwater facilities?—YES NO

*****

(Okay, this smacks of Al Gore. Does this mean the DISTRICT gets to establish environmental sustainable standards and practices, and will be able to tell us all to get windmills to run our sewers? Well, how would YOU take this?)

*****

THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT – CHARTER AMENDMENT ELECTION SIMPLE MAJORITY REQUIRED

*****

PROPOSITION 4 Shall Articles 5, 7 and 10 of the Plan (Charter) of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District be amended to provide that notice of the expiration of the term of office of a Director, notice of tax levy hearings, notice of proposed rate changes, and notice of elections under the Plan (Charter) shall be given by mail, publication or electronic media, or such other form of communication as may be permitted by Missouri law?–YES NO

*****

(You have to wonder, they don’t do this now? Well..so what if they NOTICE us? )

******************************************************************

After my “shock”,  I looked in the empty room…where I saw one man, and four ladies sitting at a table. Besides “mom” I was the only voter there.  “Uh, can anyone here tell me what this gobblegook really means?” I asked. “I haven’t heard a lick about this on the local news, and this is like legalize from Russia.”

****

The man came over to me, with an understanding and sympathetic look on his face. I could tell he was just as confused as I was about the whole thing. “I know, I’m sorry, we are not allowed to say anything.” he said.

****

Then, over she came…the dragon liberal lady. The grand puba of the room: She looked me straight in the eye, and said, “You don’t HAVE to vote.” Right. I came here because I was bored.

****

“Of course I have to vote. I live here.” I said to her in a half cocked angry voice.  If a liberal wants it to pass, then right away I’m suspect. I’d vote just to spite her.  But, by the time I got my ballot, I figured my vote wouldn’t count at all. No one was here. They didn’t advertize this much, and they wrote the whole thing in such confusing language anyone could interpreted in any fashion.

****

Is this how they are cramming the green energy down everyone’s thoat all over America? I knew it was already a done deal. They talk about the “blacks” being disenfranchised in America, but when they hold voting on a Tuesday, and don’t even talk about the issues, and then write it as unintelligible as possibly, so you don’t really know what it means..and then threaten you if you DON’T pass your new high rates, you will be sorry.

****

Nobody Wins. Comrades. America loses.

Mom’s daughter went out to get the car and I walked “mom”  out on my arm…I told her how much I missed my own mom, and she said, “I lost my son. He was in the Air Force and was shot down in Saudi Arabia.”
****

What can you say besides…thank you so much for your son and his service? It made me very sad…lost generations. This poor lady thinks she did the right thing…her bills will go up, and she just voted for them too.

****

Tonight, when I got home, I found out two things: Number One: What scared good old “Mom.’ THIS is how they extort high rates of taxes out of the American people.

With FEAR. Al Gore, would be proud

Proposition Y is a $945 million bond issue by the Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District (MSD).

If St. Louisans vote yes, sewer rates for the average single-family MSD user would rise from roughly $29 for the average single family to roughly $44 by mid-2015. The new rate effective July 1 of this year would be about $31.

By contrast, a rejection of the measure would raise that average rate to about $64 effective July 1 of this year. That figure would then rise to about $65 by mid-2015.

MSD must increase its rates to begin paying for $4.7 billion in upgrades mandated by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. The expenses stem from a settlement announced in August. The upgrades will help correct more than 350 sewer overflows in the St. Louis area and will be made over 23 years, according to a primer document from MSD. They will address violations of the Clean Water Act

Number Two: Proposition Y passed with a majority, which means I was outnumbered by “Mom” and the dragon lady.

Cashing In on the Cashless

Nobody Wonders

Call me old fashioned, but I like the days when you paid your bills by mail. But, in the NEW WORLD ORDER…call it what you want, they are slowly but surely implementing the cashless society. They want to get rid of all paper transactions..and they want to have access to your money.

You might as well give the local robber a key to your house.

I have been fighting this new world of electronic “Let me get my big brother hands into your bank account.” tyranny for some time. And I know it’s a lost cause. When I changed my TV service from Charter Communications to Direct TV, I asked them to send me monthly bills. “Oh sure.” they said. “We can do that!”

They lied. They took the original credit card I had to give them just to talk to them in the first place, and they charged me on my card, and THEN I get a monthly paper statement that says, “I owe nothing.”

What kind of paper are they saving? They can’t change it, they said: sorry.

Now, I could see if I was some kind of criminal, but I have a top- credit rating score that I have worked on my whole life. I’ve paid off so many car loans, and other loans, and I’ve only missed ONE payment in my entire life. My credit score is higher than “99.34% of the population” (leaving me wondering who is the other 66% percent?) and so?  I have found out that your good credit score means nothing. Nothing.

What does mean something is they want you and your entire life…online.

After we bought our new car, I was trying to get a lower rate on the loan. But Hyundai has a built-in policy. They gave me a point but could go no further.  (Ford does.) They have a system that everyone goes by, your credit score doesn’t matter whatsoever.  When I went to change my house and car insurance, I ran into the same thing.

They want to take payments out of your bank account—directly.  I had to pay a huge amount up front to get bills sent to me in the mail…for the privilege of them NOT getting their hand on my accounts.

Nobody Thinks this mandatory “We will take it out of your account” is right up there with taking away your property. After all, they can grab whatever they want out of that account  and you are powerless.

If you don’t pay, the big multinationals can get you. If they steal from you, there’s not much you can do. So, it’s no conspiracy now, the elites want to get hold of the internet, and all your bank accounts. They want to know everything.

It’s starting with the EU.

The European Union is now moving to create a mandatory electronic ID system for all EU citizens that would be implemented across Europe to standardize business both online and in person, authenticating users via a common ‘electronic signature.’ A single authenticating ID would guard access to the Internet, online data and most commerce. It is nothing short of an attempt to phase in a Mark of the Beast system, and a prominent Bilderberg attendee is behind the scheme. This big brother system will be implemented in Europe first and later pushed in North America and the remainder of the globe, as the world is nudged step by step towards a total cashless control grid in the name of ‘safe, verifiable commerce,’ and of course, in the name of “security.”

And while, over in America, we are talking about Bunny Melon giving John Edwards money to hide his girlfriend…Obama is doing this:

A new program being touted by the Obama administration as a solution to online identity theft actually increases the risk of identity theft while providing the government with a national ID system through the backdoor, paving the way for a world wide web in which users will need government permission to access the Internet.

The so-called “National Strategy for Trusted Identities in Cyberspace,” created by NIST under the auspices of the U.S. Commerce Department, purports to offer an “identity ecosystem” under which Americans will be able to protect their information not with passwords but with a “single credential” stored on a smart card, a cell phone, a keychain fob or some other kind of gadget. This will then be used to access a myriad of data, including tax returns, health information, bank accounts and more, amounting to a passport for your entire life.”

Yes, boys and girls, there isn’t a conspiracy for big brother to take over your whole life, it’s being done right before your eyes…and Nobody Wonders how all these people who are being told what a wonderful thing online banking is—I wonder just what they will do one day when they realized, all their money is being controlled by the government. You won’t have access to your own hard earned cash, if they don’t want you to.

And by then, we WILL be a cashless world.

Nobody Wonders..how come nobody is reporting on this?

If they wanted us to pay our bills online, then every bank should set up a system where the owner of the account can email “money” to the said merchant, without the “company” being able to reach into your stash and just take it.

Why aren’t they doing this? Why aren’t they suggesting this to everyone?

Because….

“Power naturally grows. Why? Because human passion are insatiable.”—John Adams
