Art…we are told its in the eye of the beholder. Here we see two comparisons of the latest art projects, one suggested…one actually implemented.
FIRST: Damien Hirst, who seems to think that pregnant women look the best just before giving birth, has set his statue in the lovely town of Devon…and not everyone is happy about it:(Notice his own excitement!)
Hundreds of residents looked with a mixture of emotions today after a sculpture of a huge, naked, heavily pregnant woman with a sword arrived in their seaside town on a flatbed trailer.
It was their first glimpse of the controversial 70ft tall statue by Damien Hirst which has stirred up controversy since he announced plans earlier this year to “loan” it to Ilfracombe, Devon, until 2032.
A report to the council said objectors considered the statue to be “outrageous, immoral, bizarre, obscene, offensive, disgusting, distasteful, embarrassing, grotesque, disrespectful, insensitive, inappropriate, a monstrosity, tasteless, ugly, vulgar and not in good taste”.
Evidently she is standing on a bunch of legal books, so what does the artist mean? Woman should be the arbitrators of the law because they bear the children, and so if not obeyed they will take a sword to your head?
SECOND: This artist wants to put a replica of Obama, on Mt. Rushmore. And being the creative guy that he is, he has suggested…the empty chair.
What do we get from this symbolism? And most importantly, can it be done?
The good news is: I would suspect that many in America would object just as strongly as their Devon counterparts to this obscene gesture placed next to our greatest Presidents, Obama not being one of them.
Nobody Suggests —the two artists get together and set that mother down on that empty chair, pushing her sword with both hands through that great monstrosity called ‘Obamacare’ …which is lying at her feet. And put THAT statue right front of some Catholic maternity ward.
What? Did you think I was going to point out that Obama’s first debate was not nearly as perfect as he can do…but just about as bad as it could be?
Uh…I just did…in my own artistic way!
The Obamacare Dental Plan

Question: Does anyone know if Obamacare INCLUDES dental work? I haven’t heard one politician, Republican OR Democrat, talk about the great Obamacare Dental Plan, have you? Obama himself has not talked about his great Obamacare Dental Plan. After all…we all have teeth that need attention. Will dental work be “rationed” like the rest? Instead of “fixing” that tooth, they’ll just pull it? If you need a root canel, will they just put you on morphine and send you to a Hospice?
If it’s like the rest of the Obamacare package, then we can assume that Obama is right. He will be creating new jobs for dentists right on our own city streets, where cheap, affordable, dental work will be done for all those who couldn’t afford to go to the dentist because food stamps will buy you lobster, but not caps or crowns.
Hey…somebody tell me…is it on page 23,456?

Well, I’m back. Nobody thought I’d get a break from the campaign hogs, but there I was, sitting in the hospital waiting room, once again, (did my service and then some in that department) while my husband was helpless in some room somewhere getting sonic rays thrown at him, and who would come on the TV but the Monkey God Master Moon Walker himself: Barrack Hussein Obama. The Obamination was demonizing the dangers of Medicare disappearing under Romney.
Good lord.
Obama delivering fire and brimstone is not something you want to witness while your stressed out drinking cups of orange juice left in a some care basket under a HD screen TV, and wondering if your husband will be brain damaged, or just die while someone is typing for the nineteenth time into some computer —WHY he is there again?— while I flip through my ninetieth nervous breakdown issue of Better Homes and Garden the last thing I want to look at while I’m worrying, is a recipe on how to make eggs sandwiches filled with Spinach and artichokes while listening to the sound of that ominous Obamanation.
YUK.
Still. Like a volcano about to erupt, I had to watch “The President” for it was Obama’s fault I was here in the hospital in the first place, more certain a fact than Romney killing some poor woman with Bain Capital.
The reason my husband had stopped taking his life-saving pills (depending on if you just ignore the “causes stroke, death, and brain damage” commercials) was due to the expense he said– or so he said as he lay in the ER, heart beating around 40, nurses panicking. That’s it. Tell the wife when you’re at your most vulnerable–That way she can’t say a thing.
But I can say a lot (now that he is out) about how Obama and Michelle have been running their whole campaign appearing on JAY LENO, THE VIEW, and any other “entertaining” venue in order to get the lowest denominator’s to vote.
The White House news press is furious. Obama has been ignoring REAL reporters, like a true rotten banana republic dictator. Even the liberal reporters at Newsweek had to tell him to take a hike.
Hit the Road Jack, but you can leave the dog. Give Mitt another chance.
This week we will witness the Republican Convention, where Sarah Palin is NOT speaking, and Donald Trump is going to do something with Las Vegas women, perhaps sans the naked Prince. A conservative nation will be watching with starveling anticipation and lots of whiskey and rum. 
All the time, outside a hurricane Isaac bears aim. The storm with the Jewish name, will soak more than a few dreams of GOP joyously lying in the sun, and who already did a service by keeping Joe Biden up North where he belongs. A storm no doubt funded by George Soros, who made his money in weapons of war, so why not weather warfare?
You think I’m crazy? Take an hour (if you can find it.) and watch this…and then…wonder why this storm came at this exact day, and hour of the Republican Convention, and how propitious it was to the other party.
The GOP doesn’t need a hurricane—not when you have two sore losers like John McCain and Jeb Bush mouthing off to Romney on how he needs to appeal more to women and Hispanics.
Ronald Reagan would say to them both: THERE YOU GO AGAIN!: Dividing us into parts instead of having us all stand as a whole nation.
Nobody more than this nobody, hopes Romney does not fall into that divisional crap. Don’t even mention the Hispanic, the women, the Muslims, the gays…”We are ALL Americans.”
United We Stand. Divided—We all will end up in a hospital listening to a machine go…beep…beep…beep…beep…

Nobody (me) was not very surprised today when the conservative top Supreme Court Judge, John Roberts, put on the court by George W. Bush, basically sided with a socialist President, went against all sanity and said that Obamacare not only was constitutional, but Congress could just gather all that money to pay for it, as a tax.
Why was I not surprised?
Those two unconstitutional things, didn’t hit too many people’s lives: THIS one does. 
This is no surprise. I had a sinking feeling in my gut when Justice Roberts said that Justice Kagen didn’t have to excuse herself from this transformative decision. Obviously, by law, she was required to do so. But he waved his hand and said, “Oh we’ll be fine.” That’s because he already knew what he was going to do.
So, why does he get the Nobody’s Fool award today? Everyone is upset— beyond themselves with horror at the ruling no one thought was possible. (Except the dingbats of course) So why? According to all he is a traitor of freedom, justice, and the country.
Because— the judge just took a bullet for the “cause.” The cause being, the White House. I imagine it was for the Bush’s.
Ask yourself: Who benefits from this? What chess pieces were in play in this war for the control of power?
Who benefits? Mitt Romney.
Let’s just say that I believe Roberts took one for the big Rhinos. The globalists. The established Rockefeller/Bush dynasty that we have all witnessed in action. One by one, the people’s choice for a government ruled by the people was knocked off in the primaries. Rick Santorum, Ron Paul, Herman Cain, and Michelle Bachmann were all closer to the people. Not Mitt. He was the last pick of them all…and then viola…the nomination just fell right into his lap.
The big insurance companies will benefit from this, and we are all pretty much screwed.
Did you notice Obama’s speech was pretty lame? I honestly think he wasn’t expecting this. Everyone knew that Obamacare was clearly unconstitutional. The Rhino’s have just moved their chess piece
CHECKMATE, Mr. Obama. Your move. This wasn’t a victory for Obama, on the contrary, it’s a Trojan horse full of political lead.
Mitt Romney needs the tea party, who are still not sure of him. Watch for him to cater to that group, with lots of talk about the “founders.” The race is close. If this had been overtruned, Mitt, who is not the liar or the speaker that Obama is, might have left one too many people staying home.
The Rhinos want the White House–it was a necessary move.
Would Roberts do such a thing for the ‘elites’ ?
He just did.
But, here’ s the question: Will Mitt do as he promised..repeal ObamaCare the day he gets in office?
Does he have that power? Will it stay regardless? Will other fascist chess pieces be moved to saddle America with high taxes forever with NIETHER party getting the blame? Both parties working for the people who pay them?
Is this all smoke and mirrors?
Do any of us trust our government anymore? I sure don’t.
Is it already too late? Nope. Never.
Justice John Roberts gets the Nobody’s Fool award for the week. He just gave Mitt the White House, unless Obama plays another card….
We shall see, what happens then.

Today is the day patriotic Americans have been waiting for, and it seems that it will be just one man who will decide if Obamacare is enacted— Justice Kennedy. If the Supreme Court lets Obamacare stand, then obviously we have become Russia, or Italy, or pick your favorite despotic government, because this Nobody Knows that Obamacare is not constitutional.
But who’s obeying the Constitution anymore? Here we see our Secretary of State, Comrade Clinton, pretty much making fun of the Constitution as she puts on a Mask and spits out the serious and important words at a swearing-in ceremony–basically making fun of it all. Nobody Remembers when swearing-in ceremonies used to be taken seriously, and discussions of purple pantsuits were left in the ladies washroom.
On a lighter note, I’ve never seen Hillary look better.
Nobody also remembers that there would be a tropical hurricane in the Sahara before an American President would call up a newly elected Muslim Brotherhood President of Egypt, as his army of brotherhood men are shouting Allah Akbar outside in celebration, thereby gaining control of a military funded by…the same American President, and that President ccongratulates him. 
Nobody Knows how a President can ignore the obvious fact that no matter how much you tell the new Muslim Brotherhood President of Egypt you would like him to be a moderate–he’s not going to do it.
Obama cares deeply about “women’s rights” in the U.S., but the women in Egypt can go to Allah in a handbasket, and sometimes that basket will contain their own bloody, chopped off hands if they are not good. Obama probably plans to call up the new Muslim Brotherhood President and say, “I’ll send you more money if you keep the stoning down..I mean..uh…I’m trying to win a reelection here.” 
Women in Egypt will now go back even further into slavery. Nobody Wonders how that poor pregnant women who did NOT vote for the Muslim brotherhood, the one whose husband beat her to death because she didn’t–How did HE know how she voted? What? Do the husbands get to see how the women vote? How’s that work? Or–did she tell him?
In an interview in AARP, Obama said:
“I do want to make sure that when Malia and Sasha are entering their 50’s we still have the security of Social Security. Of Medicare.” (Obviously President’s children get to take Social Security at the age of 50. The rest of us will get it at 122.)
Nobody Wonders where Obama learned to do math: He has added millions of illegals, and their families, onto the Medicare rolls, and now we find out that it seems our Medicare dollars have been going to, among various places..CUBA! Three Congressmen are spilling the beans on that:
“Clearly, the program vulnerabilities that facilitate billions of dollars to be stolen from the Medicare program each year also allow for some of that money to be funneled to foreign countries,” the three congressmen said. “Thus far, it does not appear that CMS has addressed the concept of nominee owners, false storefronts, and shell companies in any of its enrollment regulations or its Provider Screening statement of work,” they said.
Earlier this week, federal officials in Miami charged Oscar Sanchez in connection with a criminal operation that resulted in an estimated $31 million going to Cuban banks.“If confirmed, this indicates that Medicare program dollars are not only funding international criminal syndicates, but may be helping prop up the Castro government,” the congressmen said.
Oh gee…what does it matter? We are supporting Castro and Raul, and who knows who else with Medicare fraud? Is this a coincidence? 
If you don’t think so, then go ahead, you’ll find lots of hundred-dollar bills in your nearest drain sewer, along with an air plane ticket to Cuba where you will get the best medical attention in the world. Go ahead…get a heart operation while you’ll there, tell me how that goes.
The upcoming election doesn’t look so good for Obama, but, Nobody Wins if we think he is going down without a fight. In the history of the world, dictators have been known to do some pretty draconian things. Cruel and intentional is the usual modus operandi.

This week, we have the contest between ‘Presidente Obama’ and Mirlandie Wilson. I’m not sure who’s the bigger liar.
Let’s start with the Mr. Kenya first. While many of us who have never even gone to college, let alone taught a college course on the Constitution as Obama has, we do know that nowhere in our Constitution does it say that our “government” can force us to buy something, or we will be jailed…We know it. But it seems Obama doesn’t. He’s either incredible stupid, or he lies. ObamaCare by the words of our founders, is Unconstitutional beyond all doubt.
ObamaCare is a nightmare not only because we be put in jail and fined for not buying health insurance, but a handful of Obama appointed bureaucrats will have the say over whether we can have certain kinds of medical care. 
Nowhere in the constitution does it say that our government can take our lives.
But, we have a President who…somehow taught a class on the Constitution and like most of Congress it seems, hasn’t even read it. He had this to say today in the Rose Garden:
US President Barack Obama on Monday challenged the “unelected” Supreme Court not to take the “extraordinary” and “unprecedented” step of overturning his landmark health reform law. “Ultimately, I am confident that the Supreme Court will not take what would be an unprecedented, extraordinary step of overturning a law that was passed by a strong majority of a democratically elected Congress. “
Yes, the democratic Congress that is so extraordinary didn’t even read ObamaCare before they passed it. It could have said that they were all sentenced to heavy jail time, and none of them would have known.
(Nobody Thinks we might want to start putting some jail time for them all in those bills.)
But she now refuses to share.
“I was in the group, but this was separate. The winning ticket was a separate ticket,” the single mother of seven said as she and her fiancé left her home in the squalid Westport neighborhood to attend church.
“She can’t do this to us!” said Suleiman Osman Husein, a shift manager and one of 15 members in the pool. “We each paid $5. She took everybody’s money!”
So, do you believe that Mirlandie had a good scam going on here? Gathering everybody’s money and buying lottery tickets with it?
I’d say, Obama and Mirlandie make a good pair.
It’s my Nobody’s Opinion that Obama lied about his healthcare being Constitutional because he admits he doesn’t even like the Constitution, ( And who knows if he has even read it?) and Mirlandie lied about buying the winning ticket on her own. After all, she figures she has seven kids to support, why share? (Bet she still gets food stamps)
But, I’d say Obama is the bigger threat here. Mirlandie doesn’t have the power to deprive any of McDonalds employees from getting a new kidney. Obama will have the power over life and death of all of us.
But lets’ not be pessimistic yet: Let’s hope Mr. Kennedy wants to go down in history as having read the Constitution, and Mirlandie has to prove to a judge that she actually brought that ticket separate…and that’s not going to be easy.
There has to be some perfect outcomes somewhere, right? Uh…right? Uh…

Today I woke up to find that it’s April Fool’s Day falls AND Palm Sunday. So…I’m not sure how to take that. The first song I heard on the radio was “Brown Eyed Girl” by Van Morrison, (One of my favorite songs) so I took that as a good sign to post something VERY positive. This was a letter that two Americans wrote to the President of AARP. As you know, AARP joined the Obamacare bandwagon when they found out just how much money they would make off all their insurance. It was a sell-out to the millions of old people who they SWORE to protect against the big, bad, politicians. Nobody Says…HA!

Letter to AARP
Dear Mr. Rand,
Recently you sent us a letter encouraging us to renew our lapsed membership in AARP by the requested date. This isn’t what you were looking for, but it’s is the most honest response I can give you. Our coverage gap is a microscopic symptom of the real problem, a deepening lack of faith. While we have proudly maintained our membership for years and long admired the AARP goals and principles, regrettably, we can no longer endorse its abdication of our values.Your letter stated that we can count on AARP to speak up for our rights, yet the voice we hear is not ours.
Your offer of being kept up to date on important issues through DIVIDED WE FAIL presents neither an impartial view nor the one we have come to embrace. We do believe that when two parties agree all the time on everything presented to them, one is probably not necessary. But, when the opinions and long term goals are diametrically opposed, the divorce is imminent. This is the philosophy which spawned our 200 years of government.
Once upon a time, we looked forward to being part of the senior demographic. We also looked to AARP to provide certain benefits and give our voice a power we could not possibly hope to achieve on our own. AARP once gave us a sense of belonging which we no longer enjoy. The Socialist politics practiced by the Obama Regime and empowered by AARP serves only to raise the blood pressure my medical insurance strives to contain. Clearly a conflict of interest there! We do not understand the AARP posture, feel greatly betrayed by the guiding forces that we expected to map out our senior years and leave your ranks with a great sense of regret. We mitigate that disappointment with the relief of knowing that we are not contributing to the problem anymore by renewing our membership. There are numerous other organizations which offer discounts without threatening our way of life or offending our sensibilities and values.
This Obama Regime scares the living daylights out of us. Not just for ourselves, but for our proud and bloodstained heritage. But more importantly for our children and grandchildren. Washington has rendered Soylent Green a prophetic cautionary tale rather than a nonfiction scare tactic. I have never endorsed any militant or radical groups, yet now I find myself listening to them. I don’t have to agree with them to appreciate the fear which birthed their existence. Their borderline insanity presents little more than a balance to the voice of the Socialist Mindset in power. Perhaps I became American by a great stroke of luck in some cosmic uterine lottery, but in my adulthood I CHOOSE to embrace it and nurture the freedoms it represents as well as the responsibilities.
Your website generously offers us the opportunity to receive all communication in Spanish. ARE YOU KIDDING??? The illegal perpetrators have broken into our ‘house’, invaded our home without invitation or consent. The President insists we keep these illegal perpetrators in comfort and learn the perpetrator’s language so we can communicate our reluctant welcome to them. I DON’T choose to welcome them, to support them, to educate them, to medicate them, or to pay for their food or clothing. American home invaders get arrested. Please explain to me why foreign lawbreakers can enjoy privileges on American soil that Americans do not get? Why do some immigrants have to play the game to be welcomed and others only have to break and enter to be welcomed?
We travel for a living. Walt hauls horses all over this great country, averaging over 10,000 miles a month when he is out there. He meets more people than a politician on caffeine overdose. Of all the many good folks he enjoyed on this last 10,000 miles, this trip yielded only ONE supporter of the current Regime. One of us is out of touch with mainstream America . Since our poll is conducted without funding, I have more faith in it than ones that are driven by a need to yield AMNESTY (aka-make voters out of the foreign lawbreakers so they can vote to continue the government’s free handouts). This addition of 10 to 20 million voters who then will vote to continue Socialism will OVERWHELM our votes to control the government’s free handouts. It is a “slippery slope” we must not embark on!
As Margret Thatcher (former Prime Minister of Great Britain) once said “Socialism is GREAT – UNTIL you run out of other people’s money”.

Last week, the nation was in shock: Dick Cheney, received a heart transplant without the express permission of the Obamacare panel of “moral and ethical” doctors of death. Liberals were beside themselves at Cheney’s draconian example of wanting to selfishly live a few more years rather than get off the planet and make room for all the illegals that we need to make room for. Also, if Obama is NOT reelected, the chances that Dick Cheney could make a comeback and become bigger than life itself…even bigger than Darth Vadar, has them running to the Supreme Court. This transplant could add another…heaven forbed…ten years to his life! Dick Cheney’s body, imperfect after five heart attacks, will now, be more perfect for the young old age of 71.
On the other hand, here we see widow Katie Troyer, from Muddy Pond, Tennessee. She has not had any heart attacks, and being the Amish women that she is, she sings us a song she learned from her Swiss Father, and personally, I think it would be very unethical to put Ms. Katie under Obamacare, because I don’t think there is anyone in the world who can Yodel like an old stereo 75rpm going running out of juice. She can yodel, as you will see, in at least 18 different keys.
These are the decisions that the Obamacare death panels will have to make: Do we keep Dick Cheney alive? Or do we deny health care to the wonderfully entertaining Katie Troyer? Nobody but God and his doctor should have to make that choice.
None of us are perfect: But Katie is proof that even at 90, you still can make great contributions to the human race, by yodeling all over the state of Tennessee, and Dick Cheney can go on doing his job of driving liberals insane. To deny either one of these great ‘old’ people healthcare would be nothing short of…Satanic.

Daniel Hannan Talks About Common Law

While the Supreme Court is going to decide about whether the federal government has the right to tell us all that we MUST buy something, or else face jail time and fines, I thought this video of Daniel Hannon should be shown to remind us just how far our country has come from giving the individual citizen the liberty that was once, the very basis of common law. We got our laws from the great Brits before us, and Daniel reminds us all.
Last night I watched a video made by a young man, who was sitting on his new farm, that he had just put all his money into. He pleaded that when the economy gets worse, he will be ahead, because he did not put all his money in gold and silver…but food. And then, the commentators reminded him that the government could come take his land any time they wanted.
They had a very good point. So then, only if you had gold and silver could you fend them off. The message they were all telling him is: once Big Brother gets the power..you will have very little rights.
And this is why I really like Daniel Hannon..he fights for liberty everywhere.
Will the Supreme Court rule to the common law with Obamacare? Will one of the conservative judges give in? We shall see in a few days.

Today is the two-year anniversary of Obama’s dictatorial power takeover of America’s healthcare. ObamaCare was passed in the darkest hour of the destruction of American freedom two years ago, and I had a whole blog in my head to put up about the whole issue. 
And then…Obama cleverly diverted the whole nation’s attention away from national debates about ObamaCare and turned us back onto “race” . The media focused our attention away from the important anniversery and onto how a young black boy, with candy in his pocket, was killed in Florida by man who had a gun.
The old bait and switch game…what else is new?
Obama made a statement today about the murder of Trayvon Martin because someone was planted in his audience to ask him about it. Since Obama’s only card to play in this election is: “I deserve to remain in power because I’m black.” —Jesse Jackson and Obama’s old mentor, Reverend Farrak-you-ram are in Florida with busloads of “protestors” to rally against the atrocity of a young black boy being killed by a white person, who by the way…has turned out to be Hispanic. With one of his usual narcissistic statements Obama said,
“I’m the head of the executive branch and the attorney General reports to me.” He also had to add:”If I had a son he would look like Trayvon.”
OH?
Oh..gee…is THAT why we should all care so much more?. A boy that LOOKS like Obama…is more special because he looks like the Messiah himself?
To a white person that says: If you are killed by a black person, you don’t count. If you are a black person and are killed by a black person, that doesn’t count either, because according to the FBI more blacks kill blacks.
In 2004, the data shows that for single victim/single offender incidents of which there were 3,067 Black victims, 92.2 percent of them, or 2827, were murdered by black offenders. Extrapolating for multiple victim/single offender incidents for the remaining 3,565 Black victims gives us 3,286 Blacks killed by other Blacks. So in one single year, Blacks killed more than 6,000 other Blacks. That’s right – in one year, Blacks have murdered more of their own than the KKK killed in a century and a half of lynching.
The reality is: the gang wars in LA between the Hispanics and blacks, or if you prefer,…the “kids” that look like Obama, have been dropping like flies in L.A. for YEARS. The great black hope Obama has not even cared a bit about that war has he? I guess if murders are committed by gang members it’s okay, but when the citizen takes up arms…that’s a problem too precious to ignore.
Racist Mexican gangs are indiscriminately targeting blacks who aren’t even involved in gang culture, as part of an orchestrated ethnic cleansing program that is forcing black people to flee Los Angeles. The culprit of the carnage is the radical Neo-Nazi liberation theology known as La Raza, which calls for the extermination of all races in America besides Latinos, and is being bankrolled by some of the biggest Globalists in the U.S.
In one typical case,” writes journalist Brentin Mock, “Three members of the Pomona 12 attacked an African-American teenager, Kareem Williams, in his front yard in 2002. When his uncle, Roy Williams, ran to help his nephew, gang member Richard Diaz told him, ” Niggers have no business living in Pomona because this is 12th Street territory.” According to witnesses, Diaz then told the other gang members, “Pull out the gun! Shoot the nigger! Shoot the nigger!”
Obama chooses to ignore LA, because he needs the Latino vote. But in Florida on the other hand, he needs to shore up his base. 
Here’s the truth: The murders in LA where blacks have been murdered daily, did not fall on the Anniversary of ObamaCare and that brings me back to the blog I didn’t write.
The American people are having a hard time feeling that Obama cares about any murder, because Obama plans to kill off millions of American by denying then health care, and many of those people will be black. In the liberal mind this should be an alarm…because while they were all up in alarm about Sudan…liberals are willing to keep quiet about grandma being sent to the ‘hospice” to die.
Instead of having a sane world where any killing of anybody is considered abhorrent we have to give a heavier card of blackness to any who is NOT black..targeting blacks. Simply because it can be used to keep the democrats in power. 
Watch for it.
If that happens, the rest of us who are not black…will just have to paint our faces.

It’s been twelve years…and 9/11 seems like yesterday. As we watched Bush’s “Shock and Awe” bombing of Baghdad on our television sets so long ago, we were told over and over how careful our military was with their really cool new weaponry that could target so precisely— they could hit a lunchbox. And remember? All the lights were on in Baghdad. To the Pentagon, it was one of their finest hours. The lights were kept on so we could all watch the cars going up and down the highway, and big explosions at the same time.
So cool. Real entertainment…LIVE! Watch the almighty American bombs..and the caring President who only wants to destroy the really bad guys! Our compassionate new leader! 
But, when the camera’s left… the lights did go off. And one of the reasons we were having such a hard time winning “hearts and minds” for democracy in Iraq, was how slow we were getting the lights back on. If you are going to win “hearts and minds” it helps if you give them air- conditioning.
According to Herbert Docena, who writes in the book, Nation Building…the fault lies in how our government handed out the contracts for rebuilding.
The money has flowed from the U.S. government to top-heavy, cash-rich American companies, who are providing needed technical expertise, but none is reaching the average Iraqi reconstruction ministries. For years after the shock caused such great awe, the Iraq’s suffered from power interruptions lasting on average of 16 hours a day. During the day, some 12 million unemployed hung out at the Green Zone looking for work. On top of that there was uncollected garbage, sewage, and general chaos.
Okay, we all expected that….but here’s something that you may not have known.
To get the electric back on, the electric turbines, which had been made by French, Russian, and Japanese manufacturing companies…needed to be fixed. Instead of just finding the parts from Russia or Japan, to replace the spare parts needed, the contractors bid for building new billion dollar power generators themselves. The parts missing would have cost a few hundred dollars.
In other words, instead of getting them what they needed to put the electric back on, Bechtels the contract holder, decided that he would get up to $20 billion dollars worth of construction contracts paid by the taxpayers for the next few years.
This also meant that there was limited electricity to run the oil refineries. The Iraq oil couldn’t be refined, so the US exported Iraq crude oil under a Halliburton subsidiary, which imported gasoline from Turkey and Kuwait.
In other words, the Halliburton subsidiary KBR (Kellogg, Brown, and Root) was charging the US government more than twice what other were paying for imported gasoline, some $61 million in overcharges. Not getting the electric back on worked very well for hired contractors. If they got the oil up and running in Iraq, KBR would not make any more money importing the oil.
All the while…our boys were getting maimed by homemade IED’s. 
There is a reason we have spent trillions in Iraq and Afghanistan, it’s called good old American greed, and as we have seen, we are still sending our boys over there to be killed…because somebody needs to protect the contractors. I heard a general just last week on Fox try to reassure Bret Baier that the middle East would still be open for business.
Gee…that’s nice. I’ll just go and get my camel.
Nobody is against oil companies making big profits, but not at the expense of the American citizen. This seems to prove that our government is now run by corporations: whether it’s Bush’s Halliburton, or Obama’s GE. Once again, the rich got richer off this war in Iraq, and the taxpayers footed the bill. Bankers, contractors…politicians…they love each other. Follow the dollar-brick- road. Obama said he’d stop the war, but he didn’t. He hasn’t. We are still there training our enemies.
Even Rumsfeld couldn’t account for literally billions of dollars that went missing in Iraq. He stood on a podium one day, said they couldn’t find the missing billions, and that’s all that was said, and then it was …okay.
You and I could not pay the IRS a few thousand dollars or we’d be put in Jail, not these guys. They all belong to the “get- out- of -jail free” mile high club—where you can have cocktails before your swim in the biggest swimming pool, in the biggest embassy in the World, and then go get your piece of the American pie.
In his book, We Meant Well: How I Helped Lose the Battle for the Hearts and Minds of the Iraqi People, Peter Van Buren, a career officer who worked on “rebuilding” Iraq, wrote this:
An unnamed ambassador demands to grow grass on the Embassy grounds in the green zone. When the seeds didn’t take, he imported sod from Kuwait, “brought by armored convoy to the Embassy. No one confessed to what it cost to import, but estimates varied between two and five million dollars.
Van Buren couldn’t even count all the fraudulent waste.
He remembers, for example, offering a free seedling to an Iraqi farmer, who “spat on the ground and said, ‘You killed my son, and now you are giving me a tree?’” An American farmer who lost a son in the war, could pretty much say the very same thing.
Nobody suggests they get the parts for the turbines in Iraq going, and the US should start pumping out oil for ourselves from Iraq.
Oh…that contract went to China! 
Let me get this straight: Our boys died and we spent over 3 trillion dollars stabilizing Iraq, with US blood and money so that China could come in and take the oil?
Nobody Wonders: Who made this deal? Because..it was China that got the victory. And now the Commander-in-Chief is cutting the medical care to the boys who so bravely went to fight. Obama, is an obmination of a man, for this one act alone. And don’t tell me I should respect the “office.” Nobody is going to address that “logic” in another blog. 
Nobody Thinks it’s time our government starts trying to win the “hearts and minds” of its own people….before…we lose both.

Nobody Wants You to Remember the name: Sandra Fluke. Sandra is a law student of that great incubator of future politicians in Washington D.C. called Georgetown. It’s where the once unknown poor, poverty-stricken boy from Arkansas, was put on track to one day be a superstar of the Democratic party. Yes, it was at Georgetown that Bill Clinton became a page for very prominent democratic senators and where he “opened” confidential messages he was delivering on the hill to discover the secrets to report to his masters. He is now a 33rd degree Mason. This Fluke was handpicked, as sure as the last fluke was…to be an upcoming star in the future NEW WORLD of political liars, which is ten times better than the OLD WORLD group of liars thanks to universities like Georgetown.
Listen to that whiney voice. First off…she claims that contraceptives cost a student $3,000 dollars. What a bunch of crock. Even if they cost $100 dollars a month (which they don’t) more like $30 dollars at your local D.C. Planned Parenthood, I think she’d be better off blaming Georgetown University for the high cost of its overpriced faculty for her big sob story. So, go to a cheaper school Sandra. Better yet, get rid of your cellphone Sandra..or how about this: Try asking the guy to use a rubber, or else…no sex. Can’t control yourself? Just HAVE to have sex? If you can’t control your sexual adventures knowing that you might get pregnant, and condemn your liberal mind to years of heartache and torture, then no amount of Georgetown high education is going to make you any brighter. But what it can do, as we are witnessing, is make you an expert at lying.

Why…(let’s not forget that Mom and Dad can now put poor little Sandra on their health insurance till she’s 26) she claims all college students have no insurance. (Wait…didn’t Obama promise health care for everyone? )
One woman, who cannot ‘afford’ the pills will have countless seizures, says MS Fluke. Think about how absurd this is. All she needs to do is get bio-identical hormones from a doctor….and trust me–they will cost a lot more than birth control pills. But any doctor would prescribe her hormonal pills for her seizures or better yet…give her pills to CONTROL her seizure. Wonders never cease—they do not teach modern medical advances at Georgetown University.
This is right up the Pelosi driveway: I’m a woman and I deserve to have free everything.
And to make the video even more laughable, she claims that the “pill” has freed women to have careers. If not for the “pill” no woman could even enter the work force. Rockefeller would have to hire more men, at a higher price.
Gee…my mother never had the “pill” and she ran her own printing company with 30 employees for over 40 years. She didn’t die. She didn’t suffer. Should we tell Sandra that she is being misleading about this?

Sandra’s main concern, as is the talking point of the whole democratic party, is that: Oh my…women’s HEALTH is at issue? They say it like all women are going to die of cancer. And that’s why you can no longer get screening for breast cancer. Liberals have decided that getting pregnant is now much more fatal to a woman’s health.
Is it? Or is it men’s? Condoms can be bought at any drugstore. Yeah, those feminists sure bought women into the 21st century. Now you have a RIGHT to fornicate four times a day while you’re at college, and a RIGHT to do it without bothering to ask any man to be responsible because…why should he? It’s YOUR body!
Obama wants complete control over everyone’s bodies. What’s next? Every student needs a car? Every student needs to be supplied food? Every student needs to have money for beer? Every woman needs money for tampons? Can I get a Vowel here? And did you know that there is a movement to get rid of ALL contraceptives?
Since I didn’t go to Georgetown, I’m thinking that it MUST be a fluke. Nobody Wonders how many more Flukes are coming out of Georgetown. Maybe we should make contraceptive mandatory for that school alone. We have enough flukey lawyers already, don’t you think?

I am a nobody. If the different classes of America were color-coded, I would be in the yucky brown, one rung up from the bottom. I grew up in Naples, Florida and live near the Mississippi River now with my husband and two dogs. I am part of the slowly disappearing middle-class.
